I went there with some friends for dinner. I ordered one of their combo plates which consisted of 12 wings, fries, and a drink. I paid a little under $10. I thought it was a little pricey for what you get. You get to choose 2 different flavors for the wings. I chose original hot and garlic parmesan flavors with a side of blue cheese. If you wanted an extra side of sauce, you have to pay $.75 extra. The fries were okay. I thought the garlic parmesan chicken was okay....a bit on the salty side. I was able to try the lemon pepper chicken as well. This too was a bit on the salty side, but I like the flavor of the lemon in this. I wouldnt get it again though. As for the original hot chicken wings...I thought they were pretty good. The really liked the flavor of the hot sauce. They were cooked just right. I say these were better than University Chicken's wings as fast as taste and texture. I like wings better than drumsticks, so I asked if I just get wings, instead of wings/drumsticks. But they said they were not allowed to do that....even if I paid more...this seemed a bit odd. But I was hungry and just wanted my food. The food took about 10 minutes to get to us. This seemed pretty long for buffalo wings and fries, but oh well. We were able to watch the warriors game while we waited. If you decide to try this place out, I would recommend the original hot wings flavor as 1 of the 2 flavors you try...assuming you get the same combo platter that I did. read more

Basically the best Wingstop in the East Bay. As long as Cassondra or Joe are working, my food is always perfect. Been coming to this location since it opened. Tables are clean and staff is friendly. Miss the old cheese sauce though. =( Been to other locations and don't appreciate it when wings are cooked twice. Since they are all time cooked this is one of the only reasons your wings will come out over done. That or you pissed off the cooks. GG! Costs - Only cost increase has been $0.40. So your $8.99 10 wing combo is now about $9.39 + tax. This is across the board for the most part. I would assume due to the fact that all Fremont togo boxes now have to be recyclable and rent at location in strip malls always increase every year. (I'm a business owner as well.) And if the family packs are a couple bucks more...so what? I was craving wings and Wingstop came to mind. However, there was no way I was going to go to the Bayfair or Hayward locations. So I decided to go with my cousin to the Fremont one. This Wingstop was really different to the other ones I've stopped by and in a GOOD way. Service was great. We got the 25 piece boneless wing family deal. Ordered the lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, and orignal hot. We waited maybe 12-14 minutes for the wings but they were worth it! My favorite was the garlic parmesan. The yeast rolls that came with our meal were nothing out of the ordinary and were a bit cold. Our order came with 3 dipping sauces (we got all ranch, oh yeah!). The fries were really good, not soggy and oily like some other locations (Ahem: Bayfair!). Ambiance was really chill, not rowdy. They have those cool new soda machines that Fuddruckers has with a gazillion flavors of Coca-Cola products. Very pleased with this location. I'll make the drive all the way to the Auto Mall from Hayward to get some wings here. P.S. Only thing that irked me was when I asked the cashier for 2 to-go boxes, she said one was free and the other was $0.25 cents. WTH? But it's a big order and the other box was for my cousin. Garbage service.. whats the point of the phone order option if they will not prepare the order for you... I called at 11am to placed an order for pick up. I received a confirmation number to show at the register, THERE WAS NO OPTION TO PAY ON THE PHONE.. stated that my order should be ready in 10mins, called at 11:15 to reconfirm whether the order is ready for pick-up and the lady said the order is not ready yet. I figured driving there takes 20minutes - hoping it will be ready by then...Arrived there close to noon., just to find out that they will not start cooking until you pay at the counter. I end up waiting for another 30mins!!!! I ordered for 11am, left the store at 12:30. This company is such a scam.. to make you feel they are very busy because of how "popular" they seem to be.. and all calls goes straight to automated service, but at the same time they don't want to waste their time on cooking in case the customer is a no show. Which doesn't makes any sense because if they always receive a prank calls for automated service phone order no show, then they should disabled the option. This is literally the worst of all the wing stops in the area. I thought Newark was bad since they have all the rude and miserable looking employees there, but this one took the cake for sure. I've been coming to this one for over 10 years, and it was actually really awesome for the most part. But the last 2 visits, with this current staff, were absolutely terrible. Here's why: Restaurant - empty. Clean tables - 0 Wait time for food - 35+ minutes!! Had to cancel my last 2 orders because of this. Literally dead empty restaurant, but 35+ minutes of waiting with no food! Saw the other people who were there get a refund and leave. I did the same the last time I went, and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and went back just now, and it was the same exact experience all over again. The manager Maria had this snobby attitude too, as if I WAS INCONVENIENCING HER by asking for a refund after waiting 35+ minutes for 20 wings.. I came here last night with my husband's family for dinner (our first time), which we were introduced to Wingstop by our sister in-law who originally found Wingstop via Yelp. I must say, "One bite out of their Canjun, Louisiana, Hickory Smoked BBQ hot wings, they were SO good!! Even their french fries were yummy too!!" My sister in-law, she was able to order ahead via online order as so when we got there, our food was ready for us to eat, which was a brilliant idea on her part and she did a wonderful job with everything. I read a review where someone had to wait like 20 minutes to receive their food and I know - most everyone in our family was hungry!! We had several choices of wing flavors in the family combo along with dips (Ranch and Honey Mustard were our favorites), fresh cut/crisp carrot/celery sticks, sides of potato salad, french fries, baked beans. Their soda machine was awesome too and reminded me of Fuddruckers in Dublin because they had the same exact soda machines by Coca Cola. I personally have never heard of Wingstop before, but after I had a look on Yelp last night, there are several locations throughout the Bay Area (franchise) so I will have to visit another location that is closer to where I live and try Wingstop for the second time and see. I actually want to try their Atomic chicken wings and see how "hot" they are because the word "Atomic," may not be as "Atomic" with a different food chain and could mean something totally different in terms of the tastes is what I mean. Stopped by here once and now I don't want to come back. I love Wingstop, and it's a chain so each location isn't so different or anything. When me and my friend were waiting for our order, we were just talking, laughed a bit, acting pretty normal, we were not loud or in anyone's way. My friend's order got called and we stood up, but when I went to grab my bag, it knocked my friend's drink over and it spilled. I felt really bad about it, and promptly informed the employee instead of leaving it there and taking off. The employee looked really sour, which is understandable because we caused a mess, but then she said "That's what happens when you two are messing around." That was incredibly rude, we weren't messing around whatsoever. We are both young-looking Asian people with dyed hair, so she probably thought we were bratty high schoolers or something. We're both adults, and we even apologised and started attempting to clean up the spill with napkins. We were both trying to be nice as possible about the spill because it was a pure accident that was NOT caused by messing around, yet we were treated rudely. Such an awful experience. read more

As soon as I got there the lady at the front desk just stared at me. No customer service. I ordered the crew pack with 30 boneless wings and had 1/2 lemon pepper and half buffalo. I also asked for a side of corn. We waited almost 30 mins for our chicken and she gave us wings. I explain to her that we ordered boneless and she argued with me!!! My experience here was great. I called to place an order. Lady was straight forward and repeated my order to see if it was correct. As I go pick up my wings, the location of this Wingstop is amazing. Nice outside area but pretty small inside. Even though it was a bit smaller than other Wingstop locations, it was WAY cleaner than all of them. This is a good location to have one of my favorite place, Wing Stop's are pop up everywhere which is good for me, as I do adore the wings and "crack" fries. This location is really no different from all the other location I have been to in the past several month. The location is well lit, has plenty of parking especially during lunch hours. I am always very happen to find a packing spot really quick to get my food. When you walk in you will find employees that are happy to serve you. They have always been able to helps other decided, like their menu is that big. The floors are maintained and kept clean, not sticky like other restaurants I have been in. When you place your order, your food is cook right then, which means you will have a small waiting time for your food unless you have ordered it ahead of time (which sometimes is a good idea). The soda machine is one of the newer machines from Coke Cola, which means you have have the best selection available to mankind or womankind, depending on how is pouring the drinks. When you do get your food, it is always hot and fresh, I never had a problem with wing or drumsticks, so one or the other is good. Plenty of napkins available and of course the restroom to wash all the delicious sauces from your hands when you have to get back to work. The restroom here is very clean, which means you can enjoy your business in the level of comfort. If you are coming here in a rush, then you make sure to order ahead of time by their website, app or calling ahead. Otherwise no complaining about the wait for your fresh, cooked to order food. Trust me, I love wingstop but wow what a rude cashier! My friends and I made an impulse decision last night to go to wingstop since they had that deal for 5 free wings with any wing purchase. Some of us only had $5 on us but we agreed to go because we thought we'd be able to buy 5 60¢ wings and get 5 free wings so we'd only have to spend like $3. However, when we asked if we could do that, the cashier said we can't because the minimum is 10 60¢ wings. So obviously we couldn't buy anything with $5 so we said "Oh alright it's fine, thank you!" and this was all totally fine with us. We just would wait to get home to eat. However the part that we didn't appreciate is when we were going to sit down (since some of us did get food) the cashier that helped me looked at the other cashier and said *cough cough* "cheap" *cough cough* under her breath and her coworker said "come on don't call them cheap" or something and we were just thinking "Wow how rude is that?" I mean obviously if we knew we couldn't do that we probably would've eaten somewhere else or grabbed more cash before going. Under no circumstances should a cashier EVER call her customers cheap. I mean yeah sure, we were trying to save some money since we only had $5 but who isn't trying to save money? It's not like we wouldn't pay like $7 for food, it's just we didn't have that much on us that day. What's even more upsetting? On the way out, when they closed, I said "Thanks for calling us cheap." expecting an "I'm sorry" of something however, she said "Come on. You know you are." and we left. How rude is that? I've been to some places and met some rude people but none have EVER called their customers cheap. I might be over reacting but, my friends and I personally thought it was very rude. Wingstop does their wings OK,but everything else I have tried has been pretty bad. I hated the BBQ Beans. I actually threw out the fries.The menu prices make no sense( You notice these things when the wait for your food is incredibly long). You can buy a 10 piece and two 20 piece wings for less than you can buy a 50 wing container.You really need to call ahead here because the wait is really long. They had about 10 people working but it was really disorganized.Some might say that this place is as slow as molasses. I am only giving 1 star because the wings are good. That is the ONLY good thing about wingstop in Fremont. My friend orders from there all the time and was told by one of the employees at that location about a wingstop app for your phone you can use to order instead of calling it in or ordering online. So yesterday, several hours before we needed wings for a big Pacquiao Fight Party she placed an order through the app which let her choose the Fremont, CA location and got a confirmation of her order. When we arrive to pick up our order the cashier Ivette had no knowledge of our order. We showed her the confirmation and she said that app doesn't work. Great! Why did the other employee there tell my friend to use it??? When we told her that, she just kept saying "That's not my problem!" This employee has absolutely ZERO customer service skills. We asked if we could speak to a manager she said no. She barely made eye contact with us and even when we said we are not mad at you we are mad at wingstop for having an app that doesnt communicate the orders to the restaurant. She just kept saying: That's not my problem. We asked if we can get the same deal the app gave, she said no. She never tried to understand our frustration. She said are you gonna order or what? Total attitude. If I was the owner of this franchise I would want to know if an employee was not giving good customer service. I am a fan of Wingstop. I usually visit one for lunch once a week or once every 2 weeks. My favorites are garlic Parmesan and lemon pepper. I like their seasoned frys. They are quick and convenient which makes it easy to get my wing fix addressed. Occasionally I get an order with a puddle of oil in the bottom which prevented them from getting 5 stars.
