    Order at the counter

Look very clean inside, plenty of parking available, staff are welcoming. I ordered for pick up, they didn't look busy at all so my order was ready when I arrived. Food was same as everywhere else, if you like Wingstop you like it. My kids were satisfied

Some wingstops are better than others, unfortunately. Service was fine. Food could have been better. Wings were tasty, but so dry and seemed over cooked. Maybe it was an off night and they may have been really busy.

Just ordered to go. So gross. The food is swimming in oil. Doesn't look like they strained it. Straight from fryer.

Ordered online at 8am for 3pm pick up on Super Bowl Sunday. Not a big order - just 20 wings and 5 tenders. Got there at 3pm and was told that they were just finishing up their 2pm orders. Say what!? To be a good citizen, I decide to cancel my order even though I could have just walked away as I hadn't paid for my order. Turns out that trying to do the right thing would result in wasting another 15 mins of my time. The cashier would ask for my name, and then stop to hand someone their order or talk to another perso. There were people there that had friends and family over at their houses and didn't have their food. Why don't keep track of their orders and better manage them? Of course, they'll probably blame it on COVID and labor shortage or what not. Guess what? I work for a living, too, and I have never once missed a client deliverable, COVID or no COVID. What a joke. Went to Hello Pizza on Foothill at halftime instead. They were busy but since I had ordered a pizza (which was ready exactly at 5pm as promised), the owner rushed my order of wings. I was home before Eminem started performing.

Over the years, this restaurant has been a place we have enjoyed and returned to countless times. Unfortunately, what we experienced during our most recent visit was almost unrecognizable from the restaurant we once knew. We entered through the back and were immediately taken aback by the condition and cleanliness of the restaurant. After seeing the restrooms, we were honestly so disgusted that we seriously considered leaving before we even ate. The overall condition of the restaurant showed a concerning lack of attention and care. Sadly, the food was equally disappointing. The quality was nowhere near what it used to be, and after speaking with several people during our dinner, including those familiar with the restaurant, we were left with the strong impression that these concerns are not new and that ownership has not been receptive to feedback from either employees or customers. That is perhaps the most disappointing part. Businesses like this are built over decades through loyal customers, consistent quality, and people who genuinely care about their experience. My family supported Hot Wings Café for approximately 30 years, and we never imagined reaching the point where we would say we will not be returning. It is unfortunate to watch a longtime Glendale business decline this way, particularly when many of these issues appear completely preventable if ownership were willing to listen, pay attention, and restore the standards that made the restaurant successful in the first place. Gaining a loyal customer can take years. Losing one can happen in a single visit.

I couldn't decide on one flavor so she was kind enough to put the sauce on the side for me which was great (thank you!). I love that they gave a combination of white and dark meat, I was worried it would all be wings and it was well portioned. I enjoyed having a little salad with the fried chicken pieces and rice. The sauce was light and gently sweet, a very complimentary dip to the light crispy crunch of the breaded wings. Service was very welcoming and friendly with a very clean interior and the smell of freshly cooked food. I really enjoyed the food here and I'm definitely coming back for dinner with the family.

Korean fried chicken cravings definitely happen and its good to have one in the foothills. We just happened to be in the same plaza shopping at the market nearby when we first noticed it. We've gotten the original fried chicken wings, original fried chicken drumsticks, sweet and spicy wings and the spicy garlic wings. I've found that the original and sweet & spicy are the 2 flavors I like best for wings. The drumsticks are a little too filling and I'm really in it for the wings. The flavor of the original fried is good and the crunch is even better. 10 pieces of these wings is $15.49 while 10 pieces of the sweet & spicy wings or the spicy garlic is $15.99. The spicy garlic was a little too strong for me. I needed to eat that with a good amount of rice. The sweet & spicy is good on its own. The flavor was not too overpowering. The double fried nature of these wings make for an extra crunch which we all look for... That's always good. We also typically get the pickled radish as a side but at times that is even too strong. Located on Foothill Blvd in the same plaza as Seoul Market and directly next to Sakana Sushi. Parking is in the shared lot or along Foothill. Service the times we ordered in-person was friendly. It seemed like a family run business. Signage out front doesnt really let you know that it's a Korean fried chicken spot. When we first parked in front of Chicken Day while headed to Seoul Market, I did a double take in wondering what type of chicken shop it was.

Reviews looked solid, so we decided to come back to try the place ourselves. Plaza is very limited - and there's a ton of cars with the nearby businesses. Recommend parking on the street. Also, don't be deterred by the people waiting around. Most of them were waiting for to-go orders and we were seated immediately. Interior has a very old-time diner feel. Decor hasn't been updated, but I think that's the overall charm of the place. Menu is straightforward - if you order the lunches, the portions are smaller while the dinners are a little heftier on the portions. We went with the two piece chicken and waffle for $17.86 and the chicken dinner (3 pieces of chicken, 2 side orders, and 1 roll) for $20.56. And with the lunch/dinner orders, you are able to add an additional drumstick for a dollar, so we were able to add 3 extra drumsticks for $3. They have the option of spicy chicken and regular chicken. If you like spicy, then definitely give it at try. I felt like the seasoning of the spicy chicken was more on the cajun/smoky side and it was pretty spicy where I couldn't taste much of the chicken. I personally preferred the original. Breading was on point and upon breaking into the chicken - wow, super moist and juicy. Came with ranch and their special cajun spicy sauce. For our sides, we ordered the cajun fries and the mashed potatoes. Cajun fries were a bit too much, but the mashed potatoes tasted homemade. Rolls weren't anything too special. I think I really enjoyed the waffle most of all. Crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. Portion was fairly big and I finished maybe two pieces before getting full. Adding on a pat of butter and drizzling on that syrup - perfection! Workers were really friendly and helpful. If you pay with cash, you get a discounted price versus paying with credit card. They also offer an assortment of pies! Super glad I was able to try this place out - will be back if I'm ever in the area and craving fried chicken.

We were spending the day with her in the City of Angels to run some errands and help her out and as a treat for our hard work, she wanted to treat us and to see if we concur with her lofty assertion. HR lived up to her hype and I can't wait to eat the leftovers we brought home after dining at this chicken sando institution. For me, it's definitely THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH I'VE EVER EATEN. Besides the spectacular grub, what I truly was impressed with was the GREAT customer service from Rico and his coworkers. There are two Howlin' Ray's in Los Angeles. The one we visited was located in Pasadena and their first location can be found in Chinatown. Both locations are popular with diners, so I recommended you visiting when the doors open. The Pasadena HR is next to Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee, it's across the street from Petco and Turner's Outdoorsman, and it's just down the road from WaBa Grill and a Starbucks. This was my wife and my first visit to HR and our daughter brought us here before 5pm. Please don't be discouraged by the long line of diners waiting to enter the restaurant. The staff do a great job getting the diners through the ordering counter and finding seats for customers wanting to dine in. You'll wait in line, order your food from the register, and then wait until a table opens up. The tables consists of booths inside and tables and chairs outside under a covered patio. The customer service from the young lady at the order counter, Rico and the team ensuring that diners are seated and taken care of, and the employees expediting the food was customer friendly and customer focused. The employees were so kind, hard working, and I was really impressed by their top notch customer service. Major props to the owners for making customer service a priority. Delicious food will make customers gravitate towards a restaurant, but when combined with impeccable customer service, I understand why customers like my daughter swear by Howlin' Ray's. Yo HR ownership group, San Diego needs one of your restaurants and I can assure you that customers will inundate your restaurant. I wanted to order as much as I could from their menu, so that I could verify if the hype was real. The hype is real folks!! I ordered The Sando, Shake Fries, Collard Greens, Potato Salad, and Sweet Peach Tea. We also ordered the following dipping sauces, which are must orders: Comeback Sauce, Tennessee Tang, and Sweet Money Mustard. Their Sando comes with a boneless breast, slaw, comeback sauce, and pickles encapsulated in a butter bun. I'm a fan of spicy chicken sandwiches, so for my spice level, I chose Medium. I wanted to enjoy my food, which is why I went with medium. Rico gave me a sample of a Medium Plus piece of chicken and I'm so glad I chose medium. Medium Plus was really hot, so imagine what the high spice levels taste. The Sando was huge, the chicken was tender and flavorful, and the components all ate really well together. Their collard greens were juicy and satisfying. Arguably some of the best I've eaten. The potato salad was creamy and dill infused. So yummy!! Loved their seasoned shake fries, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing after dipping them in the variety of sauces. I am definitely a Howlin' Ray's convert and wholeheartedly concur with my daughter's positive accolades of this chicken sandwich institution. Not only was their food memorable, but the customer service from their staff matched the greatness of the grub. If you're in Los Angeles, visit Howlin' Ray's.
