This restaurant is very inconsistent. I have had very good and very disappointing experiences. Unfortunately, the disappointments outweigh the good. Many times now I have shown up at the recommended pick up time (and early) to find out the bag had been sitting for what seems like 10 mins. The fries and wings being lukewarm. One thing they have been very consistent about is putting very little sauce on the wings. Most recently I ordered my wings extra crispy which turned out to be the opposite. Very fatty, not crispy at all, and almost dry from having barely any sauce on them. Two of the wings I ordered were supposed to be spicy Korean and had no sauce on them at all. I've been here plenty enough times now to tell that it's pretty obvious the people working in the front here hate their job. Which doesn't bother me. I don't come here for friendly service. It's just too bad the low quality service is also coming out of the kitchen. If you do order from this place, just be sure to check your order thoroughly if you're picking it up. read more

I visited last week with my boyfriend, and when we received our food, my fries were cold. Ice cold. I typically never send back food, even when it is unsatisfactory, but this time I had to make an exception. I asked an employee if they could get me new fries since they were cold, and when I got them back, they were loaded with so much salt that I thought there was Parmesan on them because they were so white. I tried to eat them, but it was an intolerable amount, and was done out of pure pettiness since the staff is visible to the clear glass window, you can see the laughing and snickering at what they're doing to your food. My boyfriend asked if they could remake them since this is in edible food. And they simply stuck them back in the fryer. I even got back cooked fries that I had bit. I called that night asking to speak with a manager, and they told me there is no manager there. I called back a few days later same answer no manager there. Today I was able to speak with the manager and all he was able to do was to blame me for the problem and not even take accountability for this establishment. He was speaking over me, raising his voice at me, blaming me for the problem. I explained to him, my experience, how I have tried to contact the business, and have been unable to speak with a manager and the poor customer service I experienced. But somehow it still fell onto my lap and he wouldn't even listen or apologize for my experience. I asked him if he could take more accountability for his staff, since they seem to be lying to their customers, and to be treating them, their money, and their food with disrespect. I am more unsatisfied with the poor customer service than I am with the food. Nobody should be blamed or be made to feel less than for speaking up, especially a person in a management role should at least have the courtesy to apologize. read more

As far as my quest for great food at an excellent value, this Wingstop has neither. My wife and I came here late one night on a spontaneous craving. The cashier informed us of a deal on their boneless chicken wings. I think it's 60 cents per wing. We ordered two flavors: garlic Parmesan and Hawaiian. Oh, and they charge extra for dipping sauce that comes free at any fast food restaurant. We had to pay for our ranch dressing. The boneless wings were 1) small, 2) 80% crunchy batter and 3) supremely salty. I could not TASTE the actual chicken. It was like eating balls of batter dipped in salt. We were totally unsatisfied but nothing else was open, so I reluctantly went back to request another order of wings, bone-in this time, hoping Wingstop could redeem itself. The bone-in wings were better, as in not so much batter and not as salty. But still, you could get better, bigger wings from the frozen section of any supermarket and pay way, way less. Looking at the previous reviews, I guess I'm not the only one. I'm visiting here on 8/31 at 10:25pm. I asked the cashier a couple of simple questions about the size difference between regular and large order of thigh bites and the options of flavors. I really can't find much wrong with this Wingstop at all. It has its own private lot, it is easy to get to, close to the highway, and has multiple tvs if you decide to be a numbskull and eat there. I prefer to get my wings to go, and eat somewhere like at home where there is a better ambiance. The inside of this Wingstop is pretty basic and simple, so if you're starving, it is serviceable, but otherwise I suggest taking it to go. If you've never tried Wingstop, I highly suggest it! I recently had to move back to La Crescenta to handle some real estate matters and came upon this nearby chain wing joint. And I don't think I went four consecutive days in my entire two month stay where I didn't stop by to inhale their delicious wings, fresh cut fries and affordable beers. The place has like a dozen levels of flavors and spiciness but really my go-to happened to be their mango habanero (limited time flavor) and atomic (REALLY SPICY). The wings are ridiculous good, the service is excellent and they even have a couple flat screens playing games in case you wanted to eat in (which I often did cause, I mean, I don't think I coulda made it home in my car without reaching in the bag). I've recently moved back to DTLA but man, I may have to come up with an excuse or two to travel back to the Montrose / La Crescenta / La Canada area just to satisfy my wing cravings. It's a notch better than buffalo wild wings and a few notches better than big wangs if you need a comparison take. I ordered lemon pepper wings and there are way too much salt on the boneless wings. After taking couple bites, it is inedible and had to throw away. That applies to all of the families who had to eat these overpoured salt and not feeling well after. It's a shame that I used to frequent this place a lot and was surprised how it changed. Every time I've ordered online my order is never ready as promised. I had to wait close to 15 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready for pick up. There were also a few other customers after me who were in the same situation. I purposely order online so it will be ready by the time I arrive. I have two young children that aren't the most patient. Our order was finally ready and there was no apology for it not being ready in a timely manner. My family ended up eating the food at the restaurant. The customer service was definitely lacking when I went on 11/13. There were three male employees working, and often times the front counter was empty. When I needed my drinks refilled I'd have to wait and ask for help because no one was in front. The lemon pepper wings might as well had been regular fried wings with no seasoning. There was literally barely any lemon pepper sauce on these. Two of the drumsticks were HUGE and gross looking. It's a little hard to find this place because it's tucked way in the back of an addition to a strip mall right across from the 2fwy on ramp. The chicken was just like that at any of these chain stores but this location sucked.
