I typically don't write reviews for fast food chains, but I noticed low ratings for this one, so I wanted to share my positive experience. Upon entering, I received a friendly greeting. Ordering via the app led to a reasonable 15-20 minute wait. Upon receiving my order, I checked it--everything was accurate. The sauced chicken and well-seasoned dry rub impressed me. The service was good, and a manager even checked in to ensure everything was okay. Overall, a great experience with friendly staff and delicious food.

I was introduced to Wingstop in the Oaktree complex as a budget alternative to Wingdome, Cookie's Country Kitchen, The Chicken Supply, or Watson's Counter. I just realized that I never posted a Yelp review. Protip: Best to order/pay online and pickup takeout. Currently, no onsite dine-in. Counter staff are pleasant, takeout orders have been accurate, generous, piping hot, and nicely packed. I usually nibble a few bites and majority is gobbled up by The Homie. I don't overly indulge because I find it overly salty. Menu has a nice variety of wings or bites, lots of sauce choices, and on some days budget friendly specials and combos It's also a convenient northend location on the Rapid Ride E bus route and the Oaktree complex has plenty of free parking.

Hardly any sauce on the bbq wings

Ordered a ten piece meal - five bbq, five mango habanero. The wings were microscopic! It was like they cut one wing into quarters and tried passing them off as an individual wing. The bbq wings also had like dribbles of sauce, not coated at all (see photos for examples). This meal was $25 bucks and came with ten crumbs, five of which had mere droplets of sauce on them. Thank god it came with fries..though they were cold and mushy...or I would have left starving.

Honey BBQ and Hawaiian flavor. Nothing too spectacular or great. Kind of expected to be a little more crunchy then chewy like some other places. Parmesan Fries was a bit soggy Overall grade 4/10. Nothing too great about it. Eat here if you are really really craving for wings.

10 piece bbq + honey mustard and fries with no seasoning

So I placed an order online and came 10 min before scheduled time to pickup and the order was already there! My 15 min drive home would not be able to make the fries cool down that fast, but after tasting one once I did get home you can definitely tell they've been sitting out. They got that sitting out soggy taste. They seemed to be accurate otherwise (with no seasoning), which was appreciated. And the wings also look good, but I can also guarantee they too have been sitting for a bit. At touch they're not hot at all. Also, both the wings & fries should have been extra cooked, but I'm not convinced they are by just looking at them. What an overall bummer. Decent service picking up and lots of parking (shared lot plaza) so that was nice.

Unbelievably slow. Guy in the back must be cooking one wing at a time. Waited over 30 minutes to get 6 wings.

We ended up at the bar and honestly it worked out perfectly. Our bartender was friendly, engaging and just made us feel right at home. Another staff member came through at some point and was equally as kind. The service all around was great. Now let me talk about the food because that cabbage had no business being that good. I know that sounds random but it was my favorite thing and I did not see that coming. The mac and cheese was delicious, the fried chicken was really good, and my husband was all about the rice and black eyed peas (surprisingly). I also ordered a non alcoholic drink and even though I cannot remember the name it was really good too. The only minor thing was that one of the items, I think it was the hush puppies or cornbread, came out a little lukewarm. They mentioned it can be hard to keep that particular item hot, and flavor wise it was YUM so it was not a dealbreaker. Everything else comes out fresh as it's cooked so just know timing can vary by dish. It did get crowded toward the end and they politely let us know people were waiting outside. They handled it with so much grace it did not feel uncomfortable at all. I will definitely be back. Already curious about what will be on the menu next time.

This was hands down my favorite meal of my weekend trip. I found this spot through TikTok, and it…read morecame highly recommended. We didn't have a reservation, but after about a 10-minute wait, we were lucky enough to snag two seats at the bar. From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The seating seems intentionally designed to bring people together, and you could see it in the mix of large groups, couples, and even solo diners. Like the name, it had a "communal" energy that made the space feel alive and intimate. The hostess, bartenders, and our waitress were all phenomenal. They were attentive and easy to talk to. Also, the playlist was good. It really added to the overall experience. We started with the sweet potato hoe cakes, and they were absolutely amazing. I loved the texture. They were soft, pillowy, and balanced. They weren't too sweet, even with the honey butter. I wish I'd ordered more to go because I haven't stopped thinking about them. I'll have to try recreating them at home. For my entree, I ordered the stuffed trout, and this is where things really took off. It's a whole fried trout stuffed with a seafood dressing (shrimp, catfish and oysters), and it immediately caught my eye on the menu. I'm not used to eating whole fish, and I don't think I'd even had trout before, but this dish was mouthwateringly good. The fish was crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The béarnaise sauce really set it off. There were so many layers of flavor and texture, and everything just worked together perfectly. On top of that, the presentation was stunning. I posted it on my Instagram story and immediately had people asking where my food was as from. This meal was very memorable. I have zero notes. The ambiance, food, music, and service were all top-tier. Side note: There is a 5% "communal" surcharge added to every bill. The money is used to support staff benefits, the support staff, and the line cooks. This is separate from the gratuity. This surcharge is clearly explained on the menu, and I really love and appreciate the transparency and that they care about the employees. But yeah. Super good. We love a good meal and we damn near left there skipping.

This is not a review I ever expected to write…read more For a long time, I genuinely enjoyed Vindicktive. I brought friends, family members, colleagues, employees, and business associates here on a regular basis--sometimes multiple times per week. The food, especially the wings, is excellent and one of the main reasons we kept coming back. Unfortunately, the customer service experience became impossible to ignore. What started as an occasional issue eventually became a consistent pattern of feeling unappreciated as customers. The more we supported the business, the more it seemed that basic hospitality, professionalism, and conflict resolution were lacking. Instead of feeling welcomed, many of us began leaving with the impression that our presence was tolerated rather than valued. What is most disappointing is that this isn't based on a single bad interaction. It is the accumulation of experiences over time, involving multiple visits and multiple people from my circle who reached the same conclusion independently. I believe every business has difficult days. Every employee can have an off moment. What separates great businesses from average ones is how they respond when concerns are raised. In my experience, there appears to be very little interest in understanding customer concerns or resolving issues in a way that leaves people feeling respected. As a Seattle business owner myself, I understand how difficult it is to operate in today's economy. That is precisely why customer relationships matter so much. Every customer chooses where to spend their hard-earned money, and every business has a responsibility to make people feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected. The unfortunate reality is that Vindicktive currently feels less like a professionally managed business and more like an environment where personal dynamics often overshadow customer experience. Whether intentional or not, that perception has caused many people in my circle to stop visiting altogether. I take no pleasure in leaving this review. In fact, I delayed writing it for quite some time because I hoped things would improve. The food remains very good, and I genuinely wanted to continue supporting this establishment. My hope is that ownership reads this, not as an attack, but as an opportunity. Great food can bring people through the door, but great service is what keeps them coming back. Until meaningful changes are made, I can no longer recommend Vindicktive to friends, family, colleagues, clients, fellow downtown residents or visitors from abroad visiting for the 2026 World Cup or any other occasion that our great city host in the foreseeable future. 1 Star Review I am an Official Elite Yelper. Feel free to reach out to me directly for great options in Seattle and additional feedback!

I give 3/5 Kimchi fried rice had good kimchi flavor. Portion size was large. 10 piece fried chicken (wings) was good. The skin was way fattier than I would've liked and it could've been fried longer to help melt some of the fat out and make it crunchier. It was super hot, fresh, and juicy though. Radish was free. It came with sauce but only on the side. Personally, I would want to try other korean fried chicken places to compare before coming back here again Waffle fries come with either ranch or ketchup. Large portion sizes! For all we ordered, it was around $55. Great price for the portions and variety imo. Service was outstanding as I mentioned. One older woman worker felt like she was my auntie. She refilled our water and checked in on us despite this being a place where you go up to order.
