This is my go to spot for Chinese food that will last me two days. I've been coming here for years and it hasn't failed me yet. The server is always very pleasant and the food is always delicious. My favorite is the chow mein and the sesame chicken. They don't skimp you like other places. Sometimes the server even breaks the box stuffing it with food! The smoothies are also very delicious and they have a wide selection of drinks. Recently they moved spots & changed their name. They used to be located where the Popeyes is at currently and they were called 'The Wok Experience'. Personally, I like the new location & name because I think it's more suitable. We saw the almost 5 Star rating so we decided on Woktastic for lunch To Go. The woman helping us was very nice & patient. I appreciated that she made an effort to stuff as much as she could into our To Go containers. We decided to get the Large size BBQ Chicken that is a lovely shade of crimson red & the smaller size Vegetable Lo Mein, Beef Broccoli & Pepper Beef. I long for the days when getting Chinese food To Go & ordering directly from the steam trays was not only fun it was a rather inexpensive way to enjoy a meal. We always love this place. Today we ordered Kung Pao , house chicken, sesame and orange chicken. They must have a new chef or something. I had gristle in so many pieces of the chicken and the quality and the way it was cut was so bad. The orange and sesame was the same...we had to keep spitting the pieces out. THIS PLACE IS GOOD. Wtheck, I saw that it didn't have many reviews, so I didn't expect much, but wow, well worth. The beef was tender, and even the fried rice and the chowmein were flavorful! It didn't taste like it was sitting out forever PLUS it was hot and fresh. I enjoyed this food more than the next door, which is what I ordered LOL The lady was pretty awesome and nice, clean inside, AND plenty of parking. This place barely opened last year, and it is now my go-to spot for Chinese food. I always forget to take a pictures when I go here to buy lunch for my family, since everyone ends up devouring the food so quickly. The service is always nice. When I first went here after it had barely opened (probably the same week they have opened), there were always young adults serving the plate, but afterwards, I noticed that it's always a small, Asian older lady who is in the front helping the customers. The lady was very kind, and a fun person to talk to. She was very patient when we were trying to choose what to get for our other family members. The ambiance and the atmosphere is clean, and there are good amount of tables to seat people. This place seems more busy during the afternoon, usually lunch time so if you want to avoid a small, short rush-hour then I suggest to go before or after ~11am-1pm. All in all, my family who are a bit picky about their Chinese food love this place. The food is actually less greasier and oily unlike other places. A Little Tip: They provide discounts for Seniors (20% off), Students (15% off) and Military (15% off), so if you want it let them know about the discount and, they will ask for an student, military ID, or a ID of showing the senior age. read more

I ordered pork BBQ and saw the server reuse the same red sauce that was on my plate and pour the excess on the old BBQ pork that was being served. How long are yall reusing the same red sauce? The server also wiped the red sauce from the side of my plate with a dirty white cloth he was wiping the counters with. Above average Chinese takeout in Buena Park / La Palma area. Prices have gone up a few times since I started coming, and portions have become much smaller. This is the only place we go to get Chinese.. their food is always fresh or was just put out and the portions are abundant. They have a killer family deal for about $45. Don't let the size of the boxes fool you. The family meal fed myself, my dad, my husband, my mom and 3 hungry boys, none of us held back on piling our plates. I'm going to guess this place is a rebranding and location move of the previous Chinese takeout restaurant that was in the same plaza. Now just like other restaurants of its type you typically go here when you want a lot of decent food for less than $10. I'm happy to say that not only is it decent but amazing for the price! My order had chow mein/fried rice, kung pao chicken, and black pepper beef. The food seems to be made fresh enough that nothing that I ordered tasted like it was sitting out for very long. The chow mein had a good bite to it and the rice was still steaming. In fact, the black pepper beef came out piping hot and was my favorite part of the meal. The green beans were cooked but still had a good snap to it unlike what you would get at a worse place. The beef was as tender as you'd come to expect from a Chinese stir fry. While I still enjoy my sit-down Chinese restaurants with more regional offerings like Sichuan or Cantonese cuisine, you really can't complain getting a container stuffed to the brim with delicious takeout food for such a good price. Though I wish some vegetables had been included, it was still quite tasty. First of all, this Chinese hot tray spot is fairly priced for the large amount of food you get. I still have leftovers for a next meal! The staff is nice and accommodating. I opted for the 3 entree meal-about $10, and it was very filling. You can choose a base of chow win and fried rice. The flavors are quite typical or these kinds of style of restaurant. Not much flavor coming from it compared to those sit-in made to order Chinese restaurants. However, their entree choices are where they shine. The entrees I tried were the Black pepper Beef with green beans, Mushroom Chicken, and Jalapeño Fried Chicken and I added 2 piece Vegetable Egg Roll for about $3-4. So for about $15 I received ample amount of food. All the entrees were solid in taste, although I think their Jalapeño fried chicken was quite dry and lacking in flavor. Also it'd be nice to have more variety in protein choices like shrimp or vegetable entrees. Most entrees were chicken or beef.
