The liquid dog food. And the crunchy bagged noodles (or worms idk).

If i could give it a lower rating i would. I ordered the chowmein. I was expected, boiled, soft noodles that just melted in my mouth. Instead i was stuck with this. i took a risk by trying the mystery liquid, tasted like my dog oscar's canned wet food. it was HORRID. The look, the taste, the presentation. I was sick. I am sick. It came in a top ramon bag? Not ready, just gave me raw noodles. I was in disbelief. I was, am, still am. i would NEVER and i mean NEVER revist wongs kitchen again. Wong this is for you, i would kindly suggest you chose a different career route. Food making isnt for you. This is not edible. Maybe try working at a dog kennel. Anyways this is all peace and love. Have a good one!

Been looking for a good Chow Mein place around New Brighton and I've found one, finally.

Horrible lunch buffet, will never come again. Food was mushy and lacked flavor, and the selection was poor.

Love this place! We always get the chicken chow main, cream cheese wontons, and chicken wings. You can't go wrong if you buy these things.

However after a fire, the flower shop closed and Wong's took over that whole side of the building.

Stopped by China Express for dinner last week with some friends on a weeknight. The place was empty…read moreso we were seated immediately. The place is definitely focused on takeout. We were there for a while eating and hanging out, and while no other diners came in to sit down, many came in to pick up phone orders and other takeout orders. The staff were very friendly and attentive, frequently coming around to refill waters and check if we were ready to order. It was nice to sit inside, but the atmosphere is very much a takeout restaurant vibe. The menu is quite large with a lot of Asian-American classics and some more authentic dishes as well. I decided to get the wonton soup to start and a sesame chicken combo plate for my main. The wonton soup was my favorite part of the meal, the wontons were good and the soup broth was similar to what I grew up eating at my local Chinese restaurant. I know sesame chicken is an American invented dish, but I really have a soft spot for it. The sesame chicken was very mediocre for me, unfortunately not crispy, super thick breading, and a little unusual sauce. The fried rice it came with was also just okay, lacking a bit of flavor. The egg roll was massive and it was pretty good. Overall, the prices are good and portion sizes are large, but the flavor is missing a bit. While I wouldn't seek out China Express again, I would certainly still eat it again.
