We were hoping this was the "happy dragon" of our new area, alas it was not quite there yet. It's located right off of route 16, in Sanborn NH. There is plenty of parking and a handicap accessible ramp to get into the restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was actually very well decorated and had a large tank with a few very very large koi fish![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was definitely good things about our experience. The take out line was very busy but we were sat pretty quickly, and soon enough the waitress was taking our drink order. The soda was off and tastes strange. We then put in our food and waited for about 10 mins before it hit our table. We got a pupu for 2, an order of pork fried rice and beef Lo mien. The pupu was on the smaller side, but it did come with fried shrimp, egg rolls chicken fingers, and crab Rangoons. The pork ribs were especially delicious, I think I ate them all and quickly. The beef Lo mien was just ok, which is what I was most excited about. The pork fried rice was pretty good, but they had the strangest duck sauce. Dark and unlike any I've had before, which throws off the flavor palette :( other than that, it was a pretty decent place! Nice to try new things !!

It was a Wonton's Chinese food sort of day. Plenty of left overs. Always pleasant staff and the food is amazing

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Interesting place, very casual atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We waited a while to be seated, then we waited a while for service, but they were busy. When she did come around, she took the entire order, drinks and food, without writing a single thing down, and came through like a champ. We got the Seven Lakes Spicy Specialty, which is a dish for 2 people, it's Mongolian beef, general tao's chicken and Szechuan pork. It comes with white rice, or pfr for an upcharge. It was really good, I lived the chicken but I think the pork was my favorite. All really well seasoned and fresh. Everything we tried from our friends plates was really good too - the eggrolls we're the typical variety that I like, and the boneless spareribs were good too. There's also a great drink selection. Looking forward to going back to try different menu items.

Service was excellent, the scorpion bowl was tantalizing and refreshing. The chicken fingers were the star of the show, light, crispy, hot and absolutely perfect with their hot mustard. The beef teriyaki was tender, flavorful, moist and executed perfectly. The boneless spare ribs were excellent. The pork fried rice was fresh, hot, filled with onions, pork and scrambled eggs, I loved it. Pro tip: Bring a DD and have 2 of the scorpion bowls... you can thank me later.

I returned to Wonton's with my family on Saturday 7/6 and I want to say the rice was good.

Empire Chinese Kitchen was an exceptional surprise on our travel day from one coastal town to our…read morenext stay. Upon our arrival , we were seated immediately and welcomed by our friendly server, Conner. Our family always welcomes the opportunity to try a new dim sum restaurant. Our order included the Lobster Rangoons, Eggplant, Bacon Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken, Soup Dumplings, Steamed Pork Dumplings and Shrimp Har Gow. All items were incredible. Empire Chinese Kitchen delivers in all areas with exceptional service, quality food and a nice casual atmosphere.

Last night best night and we ended our trip with dinner at Empire Chinese Kitchen and I'm so glad…read morewe did. We came in on Saturday night knowing we would have to wait so we went to the bar. They had a special cocktail that night and it was so good I wish I could remember what it was called but you have to try whatever their specialty drink of the night is. Since we had a large party we ordered a lot because everything sounds so good so we did a bunch of Dim Sum and a few mans as well. We went with: Empire Eggrolls Lobster Rangoons Char Siu Baos Spicy Pork Belly Buns Pork Potsticks Shanghai Soup Dumplings Shu Mai Curry Udon Kung Pao Chicken Honestly everything was great but the stand outs for me were the Lobster Rangoons, Char Siu Baos, Pork Potsticks, Curry Udon, and the Kung Pao Chicken. First of Lobster Rangoons I mean how do you not. Portland Maine being Lobster Paradise this just makes sense and is a must try staple here. Just takes your normal Chinese Crab Rangoon to the next level. The Char Siu Baos where the best BBQ Pork Bun I have ever had. I know these can be hit or miss sometimes but Empire it doing it right truly the best I have had. The Pork Potsticks were also great. A top 3 dumpling I have had. I honestly wasn't expecting much but these were amazing. The Curry Udon was kind of a funny story. I said we should try this and my friends like me know it was vegan but for once that didn't bother me. This was great and so full of flavor. Plus you can't go wrong with Udon. Kung Pao Chicken is always my go to and this one takes the cake. The Chicken is lighty battered and so full of flavor. One of the best I have ever had. Honestly you can't go wrong with anything we had at Empire Chinese and I would 100% go back and do it all again. I'll end this review the way we started dinner. Lobsta Goooooonnnnsss!
