Not sure how this got so many stars. We've been here 4 times and each time it has gotten worse. The service is awful, waited 15 minutes before anyone took our drink order. Waited to get any drink refills, like coffee and water. Food is, at best, average. There is not a very large area to wait to be seated so people hold the exterior door open, allowing the heat to come in. You would think the hostess would say something. That was our last trip there. They are just not organized without any processes in place. read more

Love this place. We have them delivered almost weekly, and they are consistently excellent quality and friendly service. Love their selection too. Their new app is also very useful and easy to use. I only wish it saved my last order so I could just reorder it again and again. read more

We enjoy this restaurant because of their friendly service. Everyone seems to be on the same team with customer care. They work hard to keep us happy when we visit. Always polite and quick with a refill. Easily one of the best for quality of food. I am not a fruit person for breakfast usually. Try the Hawaiian parfait. For lunch, I recommend the chopped steak. Have them add the brown gravy on top of that and mashed taters. You won't disappointed. Also, the bacon cheese burger makes this place one of my new favorites locally. Great breakfast. We tried it for the first time today. I had a Belgium waffle with a side of bacon. The waffle was thick and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. It didn't get soggy quickly which is a plus for me. Good batter! Hubby had the Country Benedict (Poached eggs and sausage on biscuits covered in gravy). You know i had to try it, too. We both agree that it was delicious. Great fluffy biscuits (perfectly cooked) and great peppered country gravy. He requested crispy hash browns and they delivered. Will definitely be back! read more

I visited there a while back with a couple of friends for lunch. It's kind of small but at the same time there was a very cozy, inviting atmosphere. The service there is very friendly and efficient. Also the restaurant kind a give you a throwback to the American diners. The food itself was pretty decent but not really something that I had to go for brunch again. At the time I ordered a chicken club Panini with some Mexican tortilla soup which the soup is fantastic but not really fan of the Panini. Chicken was kind of rubbery. But I think if you go there it's not really for the food but mainly for the atmosphere in the service. read more

My wife loves to find local breakfast places, but has been disappointed that she hasn't found many that I like, too. For me, most are "meh" at best. All that said, Woodbridge Cafe was an unexpected gem. It's kind of a no-frills place, but they hit some very critical targets: friendly, attentive staff, quick service, good food, great value. My first visit served up the chicken fried steak plate with mashed potatoes & gravy and corn. Chicken fried steak was one of the better I've had, not too greasy, not overcooked, nice crust. Corn could've used some seasoning and the mashed potatoes were a touch pasty, though. I enjoyed the visit so much, I suggested it for breakfast a few days later to my wife's surprise (see top of review). Got the (I believe) Hobo Skillet with sausage and a biscuit on the side. Food came out quick & fresh, biscuit was nice & floury, skillet was plenty. All in all, good food, great people, we'll keep coming back! read more

This was the worse experience I have ever had. I placed an online for pickup. I ordered it at 10:03am. It stated that it would be ready at 10:18. I arrived at 10:20 with my 6 yr old daughter. I had her stay in the car, because it said our order was ready. I went in side there was another lady waiting. I stood behind her waiting to be acknowledged. I waited another gentleman came it after me and stood behind me. We finally told a waitress all three of our names. One order was door dash, mine and the other guys was online. We were discussing how busy it was, he said his order was supposed to of been ready at 10:21. After another few minutes they bring his order. Never say anything time. They bring the door dash order and she leaves. It's now 10:45. The guy working behind the counter comes out and ask our news again, but this time there are three of us again. We get no update. At 10:55 I walk over the the waitress at the register and ask about my order again. She yells to to guy I need and order for Chris. He walks behind the counter and finds my order, sitting there. I was there on the counter before I walked in. They all looked at the bags sitting there multiple times. He brings it to me and I leave. Very pissed off, of course the food is cold so we threw most of it away. Worsted customer service I have ever witnessed. We will Never return. read more

This is a great small private-owner restaurant in Sachse on TX-78 in a small shopping center behind Church's Chicken GREAT food, menu, service and prices. My most favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I had strawberry crepes, ham and ice tea. The crepes were as good as my wife's (outstanding cook and baker) and I couldn't believe the size of the ham I ordered. There were lots of fresh strawberries. Today I took a friend and had Eggs Benedict, sliced tomatoes and coffee. Another great meal. My friend had chopped round steak - certified black Angus beef -topped with grilled onion, salad, mashed potatoes and sweet tea. My friend is tall and could not eat all of the steak He asked for a take-home container of the remaining 1/3 of the steak. You will not be disappointed!!! read more

Had not heard of Woodbridge Cafe before, and actually found it on Yelp! We go out for breakfast/lunch fairly often, so we gave them a try! Alex waited on us - and she was fabulous. The food was good, service was the best yet. They do a really good assortment of breakfast and lunch choices, and you can do either for as long as they are open. (Until 3:00, I believe). We'll be going back, and asking for Alex. She made our trip better! You won't be disappointed in this cafe! read more

This is the first time we tried Woodbridge Cafe. The wait wasn't that long on a Saturday morning. The service was good, efficient, and fast. The food was above par. My husband had Migas - he enjoyed it a lot. I had eggs Benedict and hash browns. They were very good, although the hash browns could have been cooked a little more. The workers were very friendly. The waitress got our order wrong. The corned beef hash was disgusting. It was the consistency and flavor of cat food, paté cat food to be specific. The hash browns were extremely crispy and burnt, and the crepes with cream cheese leaves your mouth feeling like its coated in some kind of film. I will never be coming back to this restaurant. I have never felt so unimportant as I did at this place. After being seated and served the waiter did not come back to the table one time. My glass was empty and I finally ask a nice waitress if I could get a refill on my drink. The food was horrible. The toast was burnt, the hash browns were so nasty tasting that I almost vomited and people I am a potato expert. They were a strange brown color and were not edible. I love potatoes over anything else that may be available. I requested extra crispy bacon and even told the guy that they deep fried it on my last visit. It was chewy and I did spit it out on my plate. After finally getting the attention of a waitress (not mine) I explained that I couldn't eat the food. She was so apologetic and sweet. She said she couldn't believe they served it to me like it was so that tells you how obvious it was to a good server. I also explained that the waiter had not been back since delivering the food and he wouldn't even look at me. She said they would talk to him about his service or lack there of. I was so disappointed! I was having such a bad day and going here only made it a worse day. Also, it was not busy there, only about 4 other customers so that cannot be used as an excuse for the poor service and terrible food. read more
