Line moves fast, order, get a buzzer, find a seat, food ready in 15 minutes. Model of efficiency!

After a long walk on the beach, we found ourselves sooooo hungry. Wooly's is located right by the pier. Arrived Saturday at 3pm, just in time for happy hour. The line was 6 people deep and went quickly. We ordered a crispy chicken sandwiche , wings, & garlic fries. Our buzzer buzzed about 15 minutes after ordering. Everything came out hot and delicious. Considering how busy it was they got our food out quickly. The place has seating, indoors and out. We were able to find seats indoors, away from the sun. They can definitely have more umbrellas out there. Inside was nice and cool with a bar and sports playing on the tv. I would recommend Wooly's for awesome beachside food.

Haven't been here in a while. It's been at least several years and we stopped going here because the quality of the food went down and the service was horrible. Tried it again today and loving the new counter service approach. The food was really good and the atmosphere was great. I'll definitely be back.

My family and I loved visiting Pismo Beach a few weeks ago and decided to stop again on the way home to check out Wooly's for lunch! It's a little beachfront restaurant that offers a little bit of everything! They offer burgers, sandwiches, tacos, salads and plenty of seafood items like steamed clams, Shrimp Po Boy sandwich and Clam Chowder! We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with Fries, Kids Quesadilla with Fries, Baja Fish Tacos and a side of Veggie Sticks (which were real veggies). Everything was really good - I loved my tacos. They were flavorful and fresh! Wooly's also offers great drinks as well with a giant bar inside! We really loved sitting outside on the patio - it had great views of the boardwalk and ocean! We couldn't have picked a better day to go too - the weather was beautiful! Wooly's is the type of place where you order at the counter and then they bring you your food - staff were still attentive and helpful even after we received our food. DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS! Overall, it was a good meal with good views! I would absolutely come back the next time we are visiting Pismo Beach! Check them out!

It was definitely hard to beat the gorgeous view - easy sunset from seating on the deck! Ordering was easy, and the Cobb salad was everything it needed to be. I'm picky, but my substitutions were easy and they got my order correct. So glad we stopped in for dinner while in town!!

    Fried cheese curds- delicious!

We loved dining at Wooly's! The food was so delicious! Our family had: the chicken sandwich, fried cheese curds, burgers, wedge salad, and onion rings. Everything was bomb! The ambiance was great (we ate outside and had a beautiful view of the ocean). If you're ever in Pismo, Wooly's is a must!

My boyfriend and I can't stop thinking about this place!!!! We came to pismo beach for the long weekend and found this vibey spot! If you plan to eat here i recommend you prepare to HUNT for seating. It was really packed but luckily we found seating outside. We ordered the calamari which was AMAZING I think about it every day since I had it. The clam chowder and fish tacos were delicious as well. 10/10

Good service and good food. I've never had a bad plate from Wooly's. Unfortunately, this time was the first time I decided to try their fish and chips; this was also the first time I had bones in an order of fish and chips. Of course, it is always a possibility, but I have come to expect my order to be completely boneless. Overall, you will never have a bad meal here, but I just can't do 5 stars because of the bones this time.

This is a great casual spot right on the beach in the center of Pismo Beach by the pier. My family enjoyed it so much during our stay that we went twice in 2 days! It's very casual, you order at the counter and then pickup your food when it's ready. You can order drinks at a separate counter and they have nice selection of beers on draft. We ordered a variety of items on both visits and everything was delicious. The stand outs were the Seafood Roll and the Fisherman sandwiches. Highly recommend for anyone swinging through Pismo, I would go back on my next visit.

We were at the pier during lunch time and saw this place. Found a table easily and placed the order. They have counter service here. Fish and chips were ok. The fries were the better of the two. Onion rings were nice and crunchy. Chicken Sandwich was good. Cauliflower bites were also surprisingly good. Service was friendly. Overall a good option if you are at the pier.

Stopped in for breakfast before walking on pier & beach. When you get there- order food on one side and drinks on other side. You get a vibrating caller and find a seat . There's a window to pick up your food. I got a breakfast burrito so did hubs and they were huge, kids got a dish to share- breakfast nachos, & granddaughter got classic cheese crisp. Great food and place to eat.

Ocean view from the outdoor seating

The vibes at this place especially during sunset are amazing. The outdoor seating is first come first serve so if it's busy you'll have to awkwardly standby waiting for people to leave. It's probably best to wait until you have a table before ordering because the food is pretty quick. The food was good, the chowder was a little cold and thick for my son's liking but my salad and a cold beer were good.

Great Food, Sunset Views & Extremely Dog-Friendly! We had a fantastic experience at Wooly's in Pismo Beach. The restaurant is located right on the pier with beautiful ocean views, making it an absolutely perfect spot to enjoy a meal--especially at sunset. Wooly's has a great happy hour, and we loved that they are very dog-friendly, allowing dogs on the patio and even offering a dog menu. That alone earns big points in our book! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming--not just to us, but to our dogs as well. While our pups can get a little excited and bark occasionally when they see other dogs, the staff was kind, understanding, and genuinely happy to have them there. We always do our best to make sure they don't disturb other guests, and the team handled everything with warmth and professionalism. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. We ordered burgers, chips with salsa and guacamole, plus beer and wine--and everything hit the spot. Of course, we also ordered beef patties from the dog menu, and our dogs were absolutely in heaven. Between the delicious food, friendly service, dog-friendly atmosphere, and watching the sun set over the ocean, this was a truly enjoyable experience. Perfect location, great vibes, and a wonderful time overall. We will definitely be back!

Wooly's fish & chips was expertly prepared to be served hot and fresh. The fish is cooked to a crispy perfection and paired with our signature waffle fries.

Note that the parking lot, depending on which day you go, can fill up very quickly. The location is right off of the 101 and easy to find. We checked in and was seated within 10 minutes at a booth that overlooked the beautiful views of the Pismo Beach coast line. Our server, a younger black woman, who told us her nickname was 'TiTi', if I'm not mistaken, was wonderful. Her personality and hospitality was infectious and exceeded 5 stars. She brought us fresh hot corn and flour tortillas with a small cup of brown sugar butter and three different salsas to try. Everything was delicious. We ordered the surf and turf special which was a jumbo shrimp on top of a filet mignon that rested on mash potatoes and a creamy/savory white sauce. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. We had a reservation for a birthday dinner and arrived about 30 minutes early. We were told we'd be seated closer to our reservation time, which was completely understandable. However, as we waited, we watched several groups (including walk-ins without reservations) get seated before us. Even after our reservation time had passed, we had to check in with the host again before we were finally seated, despite there being plenty of empty tables. The service at the front definitely could have been handled better. The food, on the other hand, was very good with a great variety of options. I loved that they start you off with freshly made tortillas, cinnamon butter, and salsa to share. I ordered the Campechana de Mariscos, which was fresh, generously portioned, and perfect for sharing. We also had the Molcajete, and it was delicious! It came with a great mix of steak, chicken, chorizo, jumbo shrimp, nopal, and cheese. The portion was generous and easily enough for two people. Other dishes we ordered also included the pozole, chicken nachos, and lobster mac and cheese. Everything was delicious as well! The mac and cheese especially. For drinks, I tried the Golden Hour nonalcoholic cocktail, and unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. It tasted like watered-down ginger beer with no carbonation and only the faintest hint of pineapple. It was more on the bitter taste. Overall, this is a great restaurant for the ocean views and flavorful food. The portions are generous, and there's something for everyone on the menu. The only downside was the host service and the unnecessary wait despite having a reservation. I'd still come back for the food and the scenery.

He had tried it before, so this was my first time here. As I looked over the menu everything sounded good and pics of the food helped me make my final choice for lunch. The service was excellent, the cashier was friendly and patient with us ordering (since it was my first time here). We decided to sit in the patio area since it was nice day, even though there was a little bit of construction noise next door, it didn't take away from hearing the great music selection. Moments later a server brought out the food, everything smelled and looked delicious. He ordered fish N' chips w/upgraded garlic fries, (we love garlic fries!) some of the best garlic fries we've had, every bite was garlicky & dipped in ranch...mmmmm perfect combo. The fish was tender but crispy bites from the batter. I ordered the Pismo wrap (could be shared), I was not expecting it to be so packed with all the fillings. It was stuffed with sliced tri-tip, curly fries, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and bbq sauce. Every bite was so satisfying, flavorful and had a little bit of everything. Some saltiness from the fries to sweetness from the bbq sauce, well balanced (I did add some cholula sauce because I enjoy some spiciness). Definitely added as a stop when doing a day trip to Pismo. I'll be recommending friends/family to make a stop at Hoagies if they're ever in the area and they're looking for a chomp because a bite isn't enough. So after all the shopping/walking, pick up some Hoagies and head to the beach (which is walking distance), because great food deserves a great view!

The counterperson taking my order kept saying lettuce, and I repeated a few times, you mean cabbage, since that's what is written on the menu, and they seemed a bit confused.. But it did come with lettuce, not cabbage (?). Hmm. The fish was okay, but not fried to enough of a crisp, so it was not crunchy. It was also a relatively small amount of cod in the the burrito wrap. I say burrito wrap as the tortilla was pretty thick and barely toasted. I did see other patrons sitting at the tables with much toastier-looking wraps, and it looked like the steak wrap came in a wheat tortilla. So is there more than one kind of tortilla? The tartar sauce was middle of the road and there was not enough of it in the wrap for my tastes - I like sauce. But I could not get more for the side, as the line was out the door by the time I discovered I could use more tartar sauce! So while it was fine, and the fish seemed fresh, I was somewhat disappointed, and did not munch this wrap with the zeal that I do the one from the other locale in town where I typically buy the killer cod wrap. The curly fries were good and well salted. Lots of people sitting outside; tables could've been cleaned better. Maybe staff should come out and wipe them down periodically.

It was busy and he was definitely working a large number of tables but at the same time he was attentive and pleasant. Wife had oatmeal with the addition of blueberries and nuts and I chose the hamburger patty with eggs over medium. The oatmeal was good, nothing out of the world and the berries were fresh...she had to ask for the nuts because they didn't come out initially. My breakfast was good...burger was thin and cooked through but not dry and the eggs were almost medium! Served with home fries, which I think were a bit greasy but tasty. Daughter and son-in-law had the strawberry waffle and she said it was tasty, malty, and fresh strawberries (not that gel-like goo some places cover their waffles with) and lots of fresh whip cream. They also ordered bacon, well done and it came without that well-done crispy way of cooking bacon. Overall a good, solid breakfast spot with good food. No pictures this time around...

We stopped by Blast & Brew for dinner with four people and our Goldendoodle, Bailey, and had an…read moreoverall great experience. We were seated outside immediately, and the staff even rearranged tables to comfortably accommodate our group. Our server was friendly, checked on us frequently throughout the meal, happily brought to-go boxes when we were finished, and was very accommodating to both us and Bailey. She also brought Bailey a water bowl after we asked, which we appreciated. One thing that stood out was that we weren't initially offered waters for the table. It felt a little unusual that each of us had to ask individually before receiving water, especially since that's typically one of the first things brought to the table. My mom and aunt enjoyed using the self-pour beer wall, where you load a beer card and pay by the ounce, my brother ordered a soda, and I had a cocktail. It just seemed like a missed opportunity to make a better first impression. The food was definitely the highlight. We started with the giant Bavarian pretzel, which was a great appetizer for sharing. The only thing we would have changed was having a little more cheese sauce because the pretzel is so large. My brother and I split the Cowboy Mac & Cheese, and paired with the pretzel it ended up being the perfect amount of food for both of us. My mom enjoyed her burger and fries, and my aunt's birria tacos looked incredible with the consommé for dipping. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well prepared, and generously portioned. After dinner, we loved being able to take Bailey for a walk thanks to the nearby beach access, which made for a really nice way to end the evening. My only real disappointment was the patio layout. The ocean views are mostly reserved for the indoor dining room, while the main patio faces Highway 101. There are only a couple of outdoor tables with an ocean view, but they don't have umbrellas. Since it was a warm afternoon, we had to choose between sitting in the sun with a view or sitting in the shade without one, so we opted for comfort. It feels like adding a few umbrellas to those ocean-facing tables would make a huge difference and allow more guests to actually enjoy the coastal setting. Overall, we had a great meal with friendly service, good food, and a welcoming atmosphere for Bailey. With a few small improvements to the patio and a stronger first impression by offering waters to the table, this would easily be a 5-star experience.
