This company makes packing and moving look like an eloquent balet. I have never seen such husky men handle things with such grace and care while being fast and super efficient. I have heard a lot of horror stories about movers so I was super nervous about my things being packed and moved for me, but after this experience, I will NEVER pack and move myself again. Just the piece of mind I get with these guys handling my stuff is worth twice the amount they charge! If you are moving short or long distance, big or small (I have done both with them) this company is hands down the way to go!! My first move with them was from Long Beach, MS to Peoria, AZ. After a full day of three guys packing and loading my things (including my grandmother's china and crystal) they took off and told me they would see me in 4-5 days in AZ. The next day, I got a phone call that my house in Peoria, where my stuff was headed, had flooded. This sent me into a panic. When I called the driver, Jeff, he told me..."Hey, don't worry about a thing, just give me the number to your insurance adjuster, I told you, We got this!" Of course, I was freaking out, but in less than 2 hours, Jeff called me back and told me that he had secured a climate controlled storage unit less than a mile from my house and he would unload all of my belongings there. He said that when I was ready to move my things back into my house, to just give him a call and he would be there to move the items into my house and set everything up. I had so many questions and was so nervous, but he assured me that everything was handled. Not only did he get the insurance company to pay for the storage, the move, and the unpacking, but he even made sure he sent extra guys to to inventory all the items and unpack everything where I wanted it. It was priceless and made my crisis seem minimal. I will always recommend these guys and use them for any move I ever have, small or big! Our cross-country move with World Wide Moving was a wonderful experience from start to finish. As anyone who's moved across the country knows, it can be incredibly stressful--but with Jeff S. leading the charge, we always felt like we were in good hands. Jeff is a true professional who clearly takes pride in his work. He was responsible for assembling and managing local crews at both ends of the move, and he did a fantastic job selecting and leading the team. He didn't just delegate--he rolled up his sleeves and made sure everything was done right. We also did our part and took packing seriously. Initially, we bought boxes from a big box store, but they turned out to be poor quality. Jeff gave us great advice on where to get high-quality moving boxes, and we mostly used 16x16 boxes. Having uniform, stackable boxes was critical--they fill the tall moving truck efficiently and prevent shifting or crushing during transit. We also made sure to fully pack each box, which helped protect everything inside. To stay organized, I numbered every box and created a detailed spreadsheet of the contents in each one. It took about a month to pack, and we only had a two-day buffer, so I definitely recommend starting early and giving yourself more time than you think you'll need! We're now fully unpacked and I'm happy to report that not a single box was crushed and not one item was damaged in the move. At one point, I was 99% sure our box #86 was missing, and I called Jeff to voice my concern. He calmly explained that, with the systems he had in place, it wasn't possible for a box to go missing. Sure enough--I found it under a pile of flattened boxes! The ultimate test was they moved our 600 pound 120 year old upright grand piano and we didn't even need to re-tune it. His staff arrived about 15 minutes early and everything went smooth. We're a large family with A LOT of stuff. We had lived in our home in Ventura, Ca for 15 years, so moving to another house all the way in LA county was incredibly stressful. We had a good experience with this company and their guys. To start, the quote was more palatable than a local company even though these guys had to drive 2 hours to get to us and store our stuff overnight halfway to our destination. There was one big hiccup on move day in that their truck broke down on the way to us, so we had to wait 1 day to move, but it didn't wind up being a problem and gave us more time to organize and do one last fun thing in the area. The guys showed up the next day with good attitudes, energy and strength. They were careful and efficient. They were communicative about arrival times both days. They made the move less stressful. They even made a 2nd stop on arrival day at our storage, which was a huge help. Moving is hard. It makes the client crabby. Nothing ever works as planned. That makes the client crabbier. Sometimes, the moving company makes the mover's job even harder. Sometimes the client gets lucky and finds Worldwide Moving and Storage at the door. Then it gets easier and the client stops being quite so crabby. And the less-crabby client is entertained and amazed by watching the crew run (yes-literally) the 300-or-so feet from the house to the van carrying boxes full of books, dishware cartons, wardrobe boxes, chairs....and the crew finds this as entertaining as the client. Fast forward to delivery--three different locations, offloads, up an unmaintained Forest Service road through snow and ice, finally finished 6PM-ish and they were still smiling. So was the client. Rhea, Manny, and Mel moved me in three hours. They were so professional, organized, and thoughtful of my needs. If I had a question i.e. "What do I do with these lampshades?" They always said, "We will take care of it." They treated my belongings as if they were their own. Before the move I did a virtual tour with Orlando of everything I wanted to move so I got a very accurate estimate of my cost for the move.
