Food is good My main disappointment with this place is the tipping process when making a non-cash payment. While I understand that tipping is optional, the way it's presented feels a bit forced since you have to opt out just to complete the transaction. Even more frustrating is that for dine-in service, you're asked to tip before receiving anything at all. If you're going to prompt customers for a tip upfront, there should at least be some level of service--like bringing the food to the table. Wow, indeed! Now I see what's all the hubbub about this place! The food was really, really good. I had the lamb chops combo with the red cabbage and roasted eggplant and my wife had the grilled chicken combo with some tomato salad and beet salad. Lamb chops were perfectly cooked and the sides were on point. It came with rice, which was well seasoned and perfectly fluffy. My wife's grilled chicken or also delicious, and they must say that they are fairly generous with their servings. We also ordered a side of falafel which was cooked perfectly nice and crispy outside and firm and moist inside. By the time we got out of there, we were both stuffed to the gills. The staff were very nice and took their time to explain the menu and give the recommendations which was spot on but then again, everything was great. This place is bright, clean and feels roomy. There was a nice flow of people coming in and out of this place so you know it's good. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some Mediterranean/ Halal food. It's unfortunate that we were just here to visit the area and is far from me. Otherwise, I would definitely come here a lot more! I do have to take a 0.5 star away because their spice is not up to snuff compared to Halal guys, red sauce. Otherwise Kudos! I'm always on the lookout for new spots to cater our company luncheons, and this place came highly recommended by a colleague. Upon arrival, you place your order at the counter, and they call your number when it's ready. I had a feeling the portions would be large, so I ordered mine to go. While ordering, I couldn't decide between the red cabbage (mayo-based) or the white cabbage (vinegar), so the friendly staff member offered me a taste. She gave me a generous portion of both, and while they were both delicious, I chose the white cabbage. I ordered the medium Kefta, which came with two large-sized pieces of protein--plenty for two people. Everything was fantastic! The rice was fluffy, and the garlic sauce was addicting. I had a taste of the beef and it was tender and full of flavor...who needs to go to a steak house! LOL. After my meal, I had the pleasure of speaking with the owners and ended up hiring them to cater our luncheon. They typically don't deliver, but because our office was nearby and the order was a decent size, they kindly offered to deliver. The attendees at the luncheon were very pleased with the food. One of my favorite places in Rancho. Frankly the food feels clean and so is the restaurant. The portions are really good and the staff has always been friendly. Wow Kabab is located in the same shopping center on Rochester and foothill that has Denny's and Manila Sunset. There was plenty of parking in the big lot it shares with the other stores/eateries. I arrived about 5 minutes early and they were working on my order still. There was plenty of seating to sit at so I waited a bit and then my food was ready right on time. The employee who helped me was nice and efficient. No complaints. My family and I ordered the Greek Salad and a Single Beef Shawarma Bites Arabic Style to share. Both were so freaking amazing! They do not skimp out on the feta cheese and the fresh lemon juice with EVO dressing on top of the cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions just made such a simply but fantastically yummy salad that I couldn't get enough of. The shawarma bites were very good too and I loved it with the tahini sauce it came with! The fries were the best and came perfectly seasoned and crispy. I got the large mixed combo plate and got to try the shrimp, beef, and chicken. In that order is how I would rank the meats, the shrimp was wonderfully flavored and was by far my favorite. The combo came with rice and two sides (I chose cucumber yogurt and hummus which was fresh and delicious!). The rice was flavorful, not too salty so it paired well with the meat. I got to try some lamb from my mom's medium lamb Kabab plate. The lamb tasted good but was a bit dry. My first order was to-go through this app. When I picked it up, the guy (I think he may also be the owner but I missed his name) was so nice and friendly. He gave me a menu pamphlet and told me that I can save significantly if I just call in our order instead of using any food ordering apps. He was absolutely right. It was like a 30-40% increase in price when I ordered through the app. I then ordered catering for Mother's Day. Even though they don't open until 11, the same man took my order for a 10am pickup. I wanted to get their Kefta kebab ($16.99) which is ground lamb and beef on a skewer piled on top of rice with two sides of your choice, a sauce and a warm pita.
