Even if you make an appointment, and even if it is the first appointment on a Sunday morning. Came here today to get my first Brazilian wax. I got a groupon deal $15 for a chocolate Brazilian. Since this was my first time I was very scared and shy. I came in and the place was small but nice. They had two small rooms with a curtain. There was very little room in the small room, it had a basket for your stuff, a table with paper like at the doctors and that's about it. She was nice and understanding. I think she tried to comfort me. Being this my first time I don't have much to compare it too. It hurt a lot but the wax smelled good and wasn't too hot. After she finished she put some oil and just walked out I didn't know if she was finished or not so I laid there until she came in asking if something was wrong. So I put my clothes on and paid my tax and left. There is left over hair, more than I wished there was and she didn't do every area if you get my drift. The curtain was a bit weird I left a little exposed. I'll probably go somewhere else next time. For $15 you get what you paid for honestly. It wasn't too bad but it wasn't amazing either. read more

I've been here two times for a full body wax and brazilian. First time was with Rimpy. She was fantastic and made good conversation to keep my mind off of the pain, she even went back and threaded out stray hairs. For her I'd give a solid 5 stars. However I got the other lady on my 2nd trip (didn't ask her name) and it was probably the worst wax I've ever had. I don't mind not talking, but at least focus on your work if that's all you're gonna do. She wouldn't hold the skin taut and even when I offered to she said no. It's now three days later and my hairs are already growing back, which means her waxing did not remove the hair completely (for me waxing lasts at least two weeks!). I'll only go back for Rimpy, but this experience turned me off so much I just bought my own waxing kit. It's a great deal when the waxer does a good job, but far too much money spent for a bad job. read more

I've been here six or seven times now, and I keep coming back because the price is unbeatable. I initially bought a Groupon, but they keep giving you that price even when you're done with the Groupon. The waxing is kind of hit or miss depending on the person - most do a good job but some are more thorough/care more about your comfort than others. The only complaint I have is that they don't wear gloves when they do the brazilians, which grosses me out. read more

Love the eyebrow threading at this place- especially if Rimpy does it for you. I actually get compliments on my eyebrows from other indian women! I also came here once for a facial and Rimpy did a really really good one. However she is only available for facials on weekdays at off peak hours so I'm still looking for a good aesthetician who does facials at this price point. The place is clean, brightly lit and usually smells like chocolate. They're usually really backed up at peak hours ( like at 5 on a Friday evening or lunch hour on ANY day ) but I just think that's the price you pay for going somewhere popular.I can't speak for their waxing services though because I've never got one here. read more

I started going here when I found a $15 groupon. They offered me the opportunity to continue to receive the groupon price (plus tax) without having to purchase groupons. They are fast and friendly. Very easy to get an appointment usually within 24 hours. The waxing is pretty good. The most important thing to me, they don't double dip. They bring in small fresh cups of chocolate wax and the remainder is discarded after the service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable but quality waxing services. read more

I was in an out of there in twenty minutes--she saw me right away even though I was early for my appointment. Very professional, and most importantly very quick. Wow is right ! This place did a great job ! This was my first Brazilian wax just after having my baby and I was feeling less than "tamed " . Now anyone who tells you that a wax doesn't hurt is lying or has paper thin hair . It was fast and the pain was usual . This place is cheap and the staff is super sweet. But they haven't exactly figured out this waxing thing yet. I go Groupon hopping quite a bit and have been waxed from over 20 different places. Wow is currently offering a $15 groupon that I quickly purchased. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for." I walked in around 6:20pm and only had to wait about 25 minutes for my Brazilian. This is not something I am too regular with, so each and every time the waxer always comments on the fact that I hadn't been waxed in quite some time. This time was no different. I am used to the level of pain for my length of hair. That all being said - my wax was extremely painful. She asked me to check is she got it all. No has asked me to do that ever. I pointed out a few missed areas, but sadly I did not get them all, nor did she. It's been 3 DAYS and I still have bruises on my legs. read more

WOW this place is by far the worst place I've ever gone to for a wax. The only reason I gave it two stars was because in nyc it's rare to find a Brazilian for that cheap. They do not wax your butt crack & when I asked why not she said it was 30$ instead of $15, to wax something that takes 2 seconds to wax and extra 15$ no thanks. I'll go home and shave it. All three times I've come here the lady waxing is rude and unprofessional. The women are always in their phone or on the company phone because I guess there is not even staff for a receptionist, they don't blow on the area they're waxing just yank it right off-OUCH! Once I was done with my wax, the woman simply handed me a tissue and told me put some oil on myself, in that case might as well had let me wax myself too. read more

I am giving one star just because the women there are nice BUT the work is horrible. I got my entire legs and bikini wax which I have done several times before in other places. First, she told me she was not going to do my inner thighs because I did not have much hair there, that was odd... was she trying to save wax??? She waxed my legs and bikini area and I could not wait to get out of there, as I said I have done many times before and this job was very sloppy. When I got home I saw she had left wax all over my legs, I had these black stains and when I rub them it was the wax. Then my legs did not feel smooth, as they should after a wax but like a man's stubble and still today, they feel like sand paper. I don't know what she did but it is a very bad job. Second, they were so loud, they scream at each other when they talk, usually a bid of noise does not bother me but these two sounded like a screaming match. I saw this place on Groupon and I wanted to check it out. I was curious about the chocolate Brazilian wax. I called earlier today to make an appointment for later on that day. The receptionist who answered the phone accepted my appointment with ease. Was very pleasant on the phone and very welcoming. I called in later on to inform them that I had to come in a little later due to my work schedule, once again the receptionist was so pleasant and very welcoming. Upon walking up to the establishment I was greeted with a warming smile. I was immediately taken care of. Jyoti was soo pleasant and sooooo sweet. She made the waxing process so welcoming and took my mind off of the pain. This was my 3rd time waxing so I was still a little nervous. She took her time waxing me and she was attentive to my needs. She made sure all the hair was gone and educated me on waxing vs shaving. Jyoti thank you sooooo much for a wonderful experience and I really appreciate you taking out the time to making me feel special and educated. My whole wax took about five minutes, was extremely painful (the chocolate wax isn't hard wax) and I have actual burns that I've been having to put aloe on. I understand the process is always painful as this is not my first wax, but 5 minutes is just too short for a quality job and results in waxing the same spot over and over again, which is horrible for your skin. I got a brazilian and was left with a lot of spots of hair so I had to actually go home and shave afterwards. She also left some wax on which was difficult to get off when I got home and was really sticky. It is cheap, but totally not worth it. It's been a day and it hurts to walk and I can't wear pants! I'm used to about 30 mins of pain but then you're spotless and very little discomfort after, so this was just all around the worst experience. read more

Got a leg wax and Brazilian wax. The lady there guess she worked there for the longest. She has no consideration for how you feel. She rip the hair out without tagging the skin tight and put no pressure after wards to tame the skin. She dont care if your in pain. My legs had a lot of hair left on it. I ask her to please run the wax on it again to make sure its clean. She said flat out NO!!! That it cause only 15 dollars. And she cant do it. She did my Brazilian Wax. alot hair left in between. I had to go some where else and pay again to get it all out. Its not my problem, That your service cause 15 bucks ok. That,s your price! I shouldn't have to suffer and walk out with so much left over hair on my legs cause, you advertise your service for $15. The way she waxed me caused ingrowing hairs and it never grow back the same way. She RIPPED THE WAX OUT FROM MY SKIN CAUSING IT TO BREAK. When I told her to re wax my legs to get it all out. She went on and on. That she a wax specialist in California . That they own a big house in California. And she just there because her husband immigration papers, That they have a house fully paid for. She made me feel so bad for her. She went on and on about , she working their for family and they treat her like shit and the other employee is lazy and she has to do all the work. This lady spoke very BAD about the owner and the other employee and have no regard for how customers feel. Shes very insensitive! I sure dont care bout her personal affairs. Many business make fake accounts and write great reviews to out do the bad ones for their company's or they have relatives and friends write good ones. I think this is one of them. I bought a groupon to get a chocolate bikini wax since I saw all the good reviews there were. Once there I had told the lady the wax was hot and she said that's how it's suppose to be. My results were Bikini area BURNT the wax, thank you . First the area was red for about three days. By the second day I had developed small bumps in addition to the redness. By day four redness and bumps had gone down and the skin left was brownish basically burnt scars. Over a week now the skin is finally getting back to normal. read more
