Chicken Kabob Platter with Shirazi side salad
    Jen T.

I took my dear friend out for her Birthday lunch. In my search I looked for "Halal restaurants" and this is one of the options that popped up. I have eaten here before and have always had a good experience. I ordered the chicken kabob platter and she ordered the mixed shawarma platter, with the side shirazi salad for both of us. The salad was very fresh and delicious and I'm glad we ordered extra despite our meal also including some. The hummus that was included was also tasty. Everything was flavorful and abundant! I ended up taking about half my meal home as it was too much. Service was fast and friendly with plenty of seating and beautiful photos! I will definitely return to Wrap It Up soon!

If you love a good gyros, this is the place to go. I love lamb, so it order the gyros, but my husband loves the falafel wrap, and the soup. The tiziki sauce is delicious, and the owner is the one who always greets you and takes your order. Nice to see a familiar face when you frequent restaurants. We live north and don't get down south as much as we would like, but we would eat here every week at least if we could. One of my other favorites is the hummus and pita plate. Healthy too.

Love this place. Delicious food with a kind owner who gave us great service. It's a small store on a nondescript location but the food blew us away. The special was roasted lamb shanks. The meat fell off the bone. This was better quality than a fancy restaurant costing multiples more. I highly recommend this nice little spot and look forward to going back soon.

    Chicken platter and beef wrap

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The service was just as impressive -- friendly, attentive, and very professional. Everything came out on time, and the staff made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place with delicious fresh food and great service, I highly recommend this restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back!

    Chicken Shawarma wrap

Don't understand why there isn't a line out the door every day. The food is so fresh and flavorful and the family that now own it are friendly, welcoming and they changed the hours so it's now open for dinner which means I can go more often! I'm seriously addicted to the chicken shawarma wrap. The chicken is so flavorful and the sauce is garlicky and creamy. The wrap they use holds up well to the filling. Nothing worse than a soggy wrap. This one is perfect. My sons love the falafel and the lamb gyro wrap. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Make this place busy! I need this food in my life for a long time!

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled chicken, hummus, and salad were all delicious, and the Persian dishes stood out. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience enjoyable.10 at 10 .

A Truly Five Star meal. Fast, Healthy and served with a smile. Greek food is amazing. This is my first time here. I am hooked. The food was fresh and made to order and served fast. Wow! I had a wonderful chicken and beef platter and a piece of Baklava.....fabulous! If you haven't tried his wonderful restaurant, I think you should! Julie A

This used to be one of my favorite places in Reno to eat. It was in my top three. I went in today after not having eaten there in almost a year. It appears that someone else is running the place now and the food has changed. The chicken is flavorless, the rice is a completely different kind of rice, and the potatoes weren't very good. I won't be going back and I can't say that I would recommend this place to anyone again. It's sad because I used to recommend it to everyone. Not anymore. It's sad because there aren't very many places in Reno where you can get Lebanese food.

    Baklava
    Bhagyashree B.

Found this Mediterranean place on our way to the airport and decided to stop for lunch as it great reviews. We were disappointed. The pita bread was stale and hard to bite. Falafel also seemed a day old. The garlic sauce in the wraps was scarce. Baklava was alright. Service was quick so their tag line "fast and fresh" is only half true, it's definitely fast but not fresh.

Anyone know if this place is open? Last time i TRIED to go there (about a month ago) there was no one about and the door was locked. According to posted hours I was there at the right time.

Weird! But yes - this place is open. The only day they close is Sundays. All other days open 11am-6pm.

It's a pretty large location with plenty to choose from. Customer service was great all around. They have large windows so you can see into the kitchen and watch pastries being made. Pastries range between $5-$7.50. So, they are pretty pricey. I got their Gruyere & Leek Grilled Cheese sandwich and it was a whopping $21!! Add prosciutto or bacon - + $3.25! For that price, I wondered if they milked their own cows and aged the cheese on property. The sandwich was served with a side of dressed arugula. The taste and execution of the sandwich was fine, easy to eat, etc. But the flavor wasn't anything that justified the price tag. I also got an orange marmalade iced latte - kind of whatevs. My MIL got the griddled banana bread which is a thick slice of banana bread, topped with sugar and honeycomb. Also, tasted pretty mediocre. As for Pastries to-go, I got the creme brulee kouign aman (5/5). I don't typically like kouign aman, but I loved the caramel-y flavor of the sugar and they stuff it with a generous amount of pastry cream. I loved it. I also got their Bostock which had peach. Also, very good, but nothing amazing. Tried their chocolate bouchon which were pre-packaged. While, extremely rich & chocolatey, they were dry. My MIL got their marzipan morning bun which I didn't get to try. After all was said and done, the total was over $85!! Yes, you will need to go here on pay day in order to afford this place. Lol. Tartine is my fave bakery in CA and while I do think they are also expensive, I was able to get more items totaling at $75. I'm glad this place is in Reno. It's far enough to not make me want to drive here regularly. But, I will definitely be back to try their other items. This is definitely more of a "TREAT YO SELF" destination. Love the ambiance, love that it's artisan, just don't know if the astronomical prices are justified.

When visiting Reno, I highly encourage anyone that is looking for a delightful and relaxing lunch…read morespot to definitely check out "Süp". Located directly on S. Virginia St and adjacent to St. Lawrence Ave in the heart of the Midtown neighborhood of Reno, Süp has served up delicious and healthy sandwiches, salads, and soups dating back to 2007. This place has been on my radar for quite some time and I finally got to experience what it was all about. Since this is in a fairly busy commercial part of town, it can be a bit tricky to find parking. However, we were able to park only a block away and this was during the afternoon on Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 12:15pm. After making the short way to the business, I absolutely loved the exterior aesthetics and layout were represented. The business itself mimics a house complete with a large front patio area that actually snakes around to the side of the house for the more comfortable Reno days. The wooden tables with plastic chairs and covered tents to shield off the sun were a very nice touch. The inside also offers very generous indoor seating complete with ample space for a single person, a couple, or a family. Their menu are digitally presented on LED TVs complete with some of their specials that are handwritten on a chalkboard. My lady and I both decided to order sandwiches to get our fuel and energy for the day. I went with their "Char-Grilled Steak Baguette"; this came complete with their bistro steak drizzled with chimichurri sauce and topped with caramelized onions, New York white cheddar & sharp cheddar cheese and served on a cheddar poppy seed baguette. My lady went with their "Reno Deli"; this offered salami, pepperoncini & pesto layered with spinach, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and aioli on toasted sourdough bread. Both of our sandwiches came with a side house salad. Once given our number (we got Tahoe St), we decided to sit outside and take full advantage of the weather (as it was a perfect 78°F). What I particularly like is that the ambiance is the perfect vibe for daydreaming, people watching, and enjoying the simplicity that a city like Reno offers. Both our sandwiches arrived in roughly 10 minutes and were presented on white porcelain plates. My sandwich was made to perfection as the cheddar baguette securely held the fillings quite nicely. There was a lot of seasoned steak as the other sauces were not too overpowering. And considering the size of this, it got me quite full as I wasn't hungry until much later in the day. I will say that if you're looking for a reputable small business that offers healthy fresh ingredients, excellent customer service, amazing ambiance in a very desirable area of Reno, I highly recommend giving "Süp" a try. Their selection of salads, sandwiches, bowls, and soups are all wonderful choices as they focus on farm-fresh ingredients. And if time allows, I highly encourage everyone to eat here as I felt right at home during my 45-minute stay. Keep in mind that they are closed on Sunday but are open Monday through Saturday from 11am-9pm. With that said and done, I am giving Süp a perfect five-star review.

Or is it that epic side salad that comes with every sandwich? I like to think that it's a combination of everything above that makes this place a spot that people return to time and time again. For me, it's the friendly faces and the family owned lives that this place is dudes which bring me here from time to time. And the warmer Mo I don't often think about it, but they do have incredibly welcoming patio with lots of shade and great salads and sandwiches if you don't feel like soup. But of course there's always an awesome option of having a cup of soup with your sandwich just to round out the experience. From what I can tell, not a whole lot has changed about this spot and that's with good reason. The people have spoken over and over and over again in this community loves this restaurant just the way it is. When you come here, you can't go wrong with the grilled cheese and classic tomato soup but if you're feeling adventurous, try the soup sampler and taste a few at once to pick your favorite then find out when it's on the menu so you can plan your return based around it. Me I'm a sandwich guy and my most recent visit. I had to try the barbecue chicken on the jalapeño cheddar roll. Chicken with succulent, not overly sauce with light spice and the fresh veggies on top made for a really nice sandwich. The bread was a little bit thick and I ended up eating most of it open face so in the future, I'd say if there's an option for this barbecue chicken to go on top of the salad, you won't miss there. Speaking of salad that cute little side salad that comes with all the sandwiches is so good. Their house made white balsamic vinaigrette is just absolute fire and no meal here is complete without it. 19 years in and Sup is still hot. When's the last time you visited?

I saw it was on the yelp top 100 at one point..so I had wanted to check it out.. but it was very disappointing. A glass bottle of very warm water with the 2 smallest glasses with ice was brought to the table first. Ice is nice especially when its 100 degrees outside. But the glass was like a shot glass and with the water being so warm by the time we ordered our food all of the ice was melted which made that 1st glass of water cold which was a couple of gulp but then you're left with warm water. Food presentation was very beautiful. Taste of food wasn't anything you'd come back for. We ordered the mushroom raviolis.i expected a white sauce as it said creme sauce but it was a red sauce. It came with crispy potatoes which were very thinly sliced and fried potatoes and a citrus salad which was arugula and a very tasty dressing. There was maybe 5 raviolis not great..the red sauce is all you can taste some loose mushrooms around the raviolis in the sauce. The fried potatoes great in presentation ok in taste but I wish there was more potato in each bite. The arugula and dressing were the best thing I ate out of 4 dishes I tried. We also had the potato taquitos which I was looking forward to but it was very dense and the potato tasted like how a bad potato smells. Other than that it was very very bland. Nice crisp on the taquito. The gnocchi pasta dish was also no flavor. The sausage in it was good. 2nd favorite item was the slice of bread toasted on both sides. The bread was almost as big as the food on the plate. The 4th dish was the potstickers which also were just ok.

The kiosk seemed helpful, but if you're a first time visitor, probably easier to order with the cashier. The food is obviously high quality. The breakfast tacos I ordered (fluffy eggs, avocado, cheese on corn tortillas) were super fresh and delicious. As good (or better :D) than homemade. A little puzzling paired with tater tots, which tasted and ate somewhat heavy, which by default they are. Would have much preferred some breakfast potatoes. Glad I ordered the ginger molasses cookie, which they warmed up, absolutely delicious. Also really great to see them serving local Davidson's teas. Service was super friendly and helpful.
