    Meals under 20 bucks DEC2025

I was looking for a fast food dinner place and saw this small restaurant. I ordered a chicken gyro which cost 15 bucks after the taxes were added, prices have gone up on everything. The poor lonely guy who was working the register and making the food was busy. After 15 minutes I received my order and it was a big gyro topped with fresh crispy fries. The gyro was really good and flavored just right and it was more than enough to fill me up.

Small Beef Gyros Shawarma Plate with fries instead of rice

I had a specific craving for shawarma and fries on a rainy weeknight at 8:30 pm. After placing the online order on their website, it was ready in about 20 minutes. The employee at the register was polite. The small Beef Gyros Shawarma Plate ($17.99) was actually quite large! I got full after eating only half. As mentioned, I chose the french fries instead of rice. The thick crinkle-cut fries were very crispy and a touch salty. I found the beef flavorful, but not as juicy as I hoped. I enjoyed the generous drizzle of creamy, garlicky sauces that had a similar mouthfeel to nacho cheese. The side of hummus was very good: rich, creamy, and smooth. I appreciated the fresh simplicity of the herbed salad, which consisted of crisp cucumber, tomato, and diced red onion. The borderline blandness of the vegetables balanced out the salt and grease on the rest of the plate. My least favorite item was probably the pita bread. It was just okay - thin and cold.

Went here for lunch and ordered a shawarma wrap. The place looks small but it has plenty of seating. Our order was taken and service was amazing. The small shawarma was a lot of food for me great for leftovers took it home and had it later and it was still delicious.

    Combo beef and chicken wrap

Really tasty fast-casual at a decent, if not cheap, price. My wife and I were craving shawarma, and this was one of quite a few in the Glendale area. Menu had plenty of options, and I liked that they had combo options as well as a fiery house sauce. I did takeout so can't really speak to the service, but they do have the tip option for takeout which is a sore spot for some people. Generally though it was a great experience. I'd prefer a tiny bit more garlic and pickle in my wrap but it was very good.

    Large Pork Shawarma Wrap

I recently revisited and was confused by the lack of pork shawarma. It looks like there was a recent change in management, and this is now a halal restaurant. I still enjoyed it, but just keep that in mind.

The service is quick and amicable as well. Not too expensive either. I really enjoy their salads especially! I ordered the Julia's Tuna salad, which was super tasty. I recommend ordering the dressing on the side, since the tuna is already pretty salty. The eggs are jammy and the greens are the perfect pairing. Their tomatoes are also especially sweet. I have also tried the Lorri sandwich, which uses an eggplant cutlet to imitate meat. The balsamic flavor is pretty heavy on that one, since the tomatoes really soak up the sweetness. Definitely tasty! Pretty messy sandwich to eat though, especially with the broccolini. Overall, highly recommend trying Ggiata's out. Casual sit down place, perfect for date night or a casual catch up. I saw that the fried arancini is pretty popular, as well as their fried eggplant so maybe I'll try that next time. Super cute interior design too.

The breakfast burrito was fine. The hash brown inside was kind of soggy and had large bits of onion that didn't taste very cooked. I'm kind of disappointed. I would say don't get the breakfast here and stick to Ggiata's sandwiches and wraps which are very, very tasty. Especially the spicy p and Cesar wrap.

Please try, and this is a large waffle, so you can easily share with a friend! My friend said the breakfast burrito with their sauce and their plain waffle with berries was also really good when she came! Service: The waiter was so nice, and you order in the front desk, and then they bring your plate to you and clean up too. One of the waiters noticed my bag was still on the chair, and he took it off and gave it to me in my hand, and this made my day :)! Ambiance: This cafe is so cute, and has almost a Bridgerton-like wall paper. There is ice water, which you can self serve. We parked on the street nearby and walked over. There was sparse tables available so we chose a 2 top in the corner. Once we sat down we noticed none of the tables we're wiped clean, just quickly bussed. I ordered the traditional breakfast which was delicious. The eggs, bacon, and potatoes were perfect. The crepes were honestly flavorless but I drenched them in syrup and they were okay. The little croissant was super salty and dry, I didn't eat it. I also got a vanilla latte and it was perfect! 10/10 My bf got the matcha latte, and he didn't like it. Said it tasted like all syrup.
