Spitz consistently delivers, and it's easily one of my favorite casual restaurants to grab a quick bite. It's a new take on Middle Eastern fast food. This location does not have any indoor seating, just outdoor. It has a great atmosphere, fast service, and even better food. Everything here is incredibly flavorful, and I love that the meals feel high-quality and has a modern twist to it. Their wraps and gyros are amazing but if you want a more hearty pick definitely go with the doner basket or the doquitos. Love their creative creations! read more

While the food is decent, I've lost track of the number of times I've had issues with my order. Make sure you check for missing items before you leave the store as invariably, they forget to put something in. And it will not be resolved once you've left. Whenever I call the restaurant to report a problem they apologize and ask if I'd like to come back and get the missing item. When I say no, I don't want a 40 minute round trip for missing fries, they tell me they will credit my payment method instead. This has never actually happened once. The most recent time, I left a message to complain and someone called me to apologize. I told him they never follow through with their promise to credit the missing items. He assured me it would happen by end of day. It did not. It's super frustrating. After multiple similar incidents, I'm done with this place. I'm curious to know if anyone else has similar experiences? read more

Spitz is so so so good! I finally stopped by since I was in the area and I loved it! The chicken was really well seasoned and everything in it was fresh and tasty. I took it to go and ate it a bit later and it still remained warm and not soggy. Nice staff here, they were patient with me looking over the menu. I loooooove this place! Been coming here for years!! I'm surprised I haven't left a review! Street cart fries are my go too it's basically fries cucumber tomato olives feta cheese banana pepper all the medi veggies u can think off topped with your choice of protein I love there beef and chicken! They sauce it down ain't there garlic aoli sauce and I think a yogurt sauce im not to sure but it's all good over all! I tried the medi bowl also it's basically the same thing but with Rice and garbanzo beans and humus! Been searching for a similar taste from Berlins Döner, and let's just say Spitz marks the place! Almost the same taste as if you were in Germany all over again! I tried the Berlin wrap and it was delish! Ordered a side of fries with it and the seasoning in the fries were also exquisite. Cool little patio to enjoy your food al fresco. There's also an easy online ordering process for takeout since the dine-in experience is just fine. That said, I've had a couple of issues at this particular location. Kind of a weird location next to a big, busy road. They forgot my drink with a combo, which is minor. The bigger issue was finding a hair in my food, which is hard to overlook. I've been coming here for years and really enjoy the outdoor patio. Wraps are great but they totally overseason them and it was particularly bad the last time I was there. It's to the point where all I taste is salty chicken layered with salty feta and salty sauces. Please keep an eye out on the seasoning as your food is delicious and doesn't need all that extra salt. I'm honestly not even that sensitive to salt and don't notice it at other places but I do here. The pita strips are like crack I just love them. read more

It's been a while since I've had Spitz, so I decided to try it again since I was at the Eagle Rock Plaza, and it's really good. I decided to get the Street Cart Doner Wrap with Beef and Lamb, and it's delicious. Note that the garlic aioli is made with raw egg, so there is a small asterisk on the menu to be aware of. Some cons are that the parking is really small and tight. The restaurant is also very small, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. I ordered one wrap, which took a long time to get. Some people ordered after I did and got their meal before me. They need a better system. They didn't call me when my wrap was ready, so I waited a bit longer than I had to. They need a buzzer system or something so it is a bit more organized. Also, I read some of the reviews after I went, which were a bit disturbing regarding the cleanliness. But overall, the food is good, the actual wrap is a bit small compared to the other Mediterranean wraps I've had at other restaurants, but it tasted good, although they should make it a bit bigger. read more
