Four of us went for breakfast a week ago. It's a plain storefront--neither good nor bad--but that's the ambiance. Waitress and other staff were all friendly and helpful. We ordered: pregnant avocado, Persian omelet and all green frittata (2). Serving size is plentiful. Everyone was pleased, with the Persian omelet declared the winner. I had the pregnant avocado--whole avocado with poached eggs, gruyere and arugula salad with parmesan. It's a lot of green--a little too much for my taste but inventive. Needed some contrast like tomato (salsa?). That said, it was nicely prepared. All green frittata was very good. Oh, and their coffee is delicious. All in all, it's a very nice neighborhood place. Staff were great as was service. We felt welcomed and appreciated. I will be back! read more

I usually don't rate businesses. But the 5 Star is what made this place appealing but i feel like that's a bit misleading. To be fare I haven't tried their breakfast. However, we ordered food for delivery. The Cesar salad literally had 1 tbs of dressing for a take out box full of salad. The persian pizza was more like olives with the side of pizza. The fettuccine is really low on salt. Their tater tots were ok but my wife complaint they were too salty. It seems like they're using quality ingredient and im not trying to discourage people from trying it but perhaps the owner needs some constructive criticism on balancing ingredients. I swung by here after a long day of work, looking for a tasty hamburger. I order the Mushroom burger and it was delicious!!!! The burger is served on a 5 inch bun, that has a satisfying crisp outside and soft inside. The patty is large flat and thin patty that cover the whole area of the bun ensuring perfectly seasoned beef is in every bite. The thin patty also prevented the meal from feeling too heavy. Nearly forgot, I had fries on the plate. While they were well seasoned and flavorful I can't help but to keep bringing my train of thought back to that hamburger. I always come in this area but this would be the first time I have been to XO cafe. I ordered their Greek pizza and it was AMAZING!!! I love the freshness of the ingredients and I love how they added sesame seeds around the crust! It added another dimension to the flavor! Unfortunately, they ran out of eggplants at the time I ordered it so, I ordered fresh basil leaves as a substitute. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to try more of their dishes. Honestly I don't know how they have 4.5 stars. The food was just subpar. My sandwich was oily and didn't taste great either. I saw the chef using those unhealthy PAM oils in a spray can. Now everything doesn't have to be organic or anything, but the food just seemed bad quality and didn't have substance.
