In the '80s I learned about "rat proofing "my home and yard. Except that you really cannot . You just have to stay ahead of them.. cuz eventually they will find a way.. that's why they're called PESTS! In the past men had just sprayed construction foam in any holes they could spot from the ground . Alisa got ON the roof, under the house, in the attic , and found a few holes . Then she CEMENTED ON NEW SCREEN. She charged ONE FEE. Included two visits to inspect traps (that she had placed in the attic and crawl space .. 15 each) and remove dead guys . CAUGHT SOME!!! Well.. you know.. rats are smart . They figure things out. Guess what? My cat was very preoccupied w the toilet one day ! YUP ! RAT IN THERE !! EEKKK!! The house we live in was a wonderful breeding ground... for rodents! It all started when I was sleeping and I kept hearing the furry posse scurry around above our ceiling. I called the best person around for the job - Alicia. She came in armed and ready. She took care of the rodents in the attic and even in the crawl space. She sealed off all the openings in the attic and around the vents at ground level. She was very professional about any debris left behind and cleaned it up promptly. A few months later I heard some more scratching noises but this time under our bedroom vent. Alicia gladly came back to ensure she did everything she could. Before i complain about the atrocious service i received i would like to start off by saying when the lady answered she sounded like she was sleeping when she picked up the phone. So anyways i Called desperately in need of help as we have an infestation of mice but "XTREME" WAS too busy! The lady said she was booked until JANUARY! Real extreme guys. Heaven forbid my family and kids live with mice for the next few weeks while "xtreme rodent tries to put a crew together a month from now" Business clearly isnt your thing. A REAL Business would recognize that the company was growing and prepare and would hire or arrange extra employees to get the job done and to prevent reviews like this from happening. Like a previous review said, I would give Alisa 6 stars if I could. Alisa was great! She came on-time for the consultation and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have been hearing some noises in certain spots in the house and she pinpoint the exact location where the rodents (rats and mice) have been coming in from the side of the house into the attic. She explained that mice can enter through holes only a dime-size big and thoroughly inspected the perimeter of the house, roof, and crawl space. Not only that, the price she quoted us was extremely reasonable. She mentioned that she's not doing this to rip people off but to help people. I don't usually write reviews but Alisa is definitely an honest businesswoman that deserves one. Everything that Alisa wrote in "About the Business" is true. She really loves her work and is very good at it. She was able to pinpoint where the entry points were, and told my drywall guy exactly where to cut the wall open and there it was - a giant rat nest. Then she set her traps and closed up all of the places where the rats were coming in from the outside, and a few places where I'd heard them, using wire and cement. She returned several times to make sure that she had found everything. Her fees are very reasonable and I highly recommend her services. Lets just start off with I'm Highly allergic to RATS! I F*#king hate them, and haven't been able to find a company that would solve my problem's. Rats got into the crawl space. A big one died and the smell was horrible. I cut the subfloor to remove that one but realized its best to hire the pros. Very happy I hired Xtreme Rodent Control. Alisa identified the acmes points, including some I missed, and sealed them off. She set traps deep in the crawl space which is difficult and unpleasant to access (she went much further than I ever have). Then she returned multiple times to remove dead rodents and to check. She kept going until they were eliminated and there were no new signs of infestation. Several visits over several months - more than we discussed initially. Only downside is one (apparently small) rat was caught in a wall and died when the holes were sealed. That smelled some for a couple of weeks. Alisa tried to get it, I did as well, but the wall was inaccessible. But it was nowhere near as strong as the big rat that started this. Rats are gone. Holes are sealed. Very happy. read more

This review is way overdue. I had Alisa solve our rat problem before selling our home in 2017. I had set traps previously on my own, and tried to keep them out of the crawl space to no avail. Alisa diagnosed quickly, set traps, buttoned up entry to the crawl space from the exterior vents and also found an entry point from the sewer beneath the garage foundation, which she buttoned up with her concrete mixture. We'd worked with a different company to deal with a rodent problem; that other company did an okay job, but then the problem came back after a few months, so we decided to try Xtreme Rodent Control. And Alisa did a much, much better job: she inspected a lot more of our house than the other company did, she found several entry points that the other company had missed, and got several rats trapped almost immediately. And then, when the problem lingered on, she kept at it; she ended up having to pull out all the appliances in our kitchen and go in under the baseboards of the cabinets to find all the spots where the rats were getting in, but once they did that, she got all the holes sealed up, and the last couple of rats got trapped. We haven't heard / seen any rodent signs for a couple of months now, and I'm feeling a lot more confident that, this time, the issues really have been resolved and our house is sealed up properly. read more

We had an infestation in our pantry area. So gross. We tried dealing with it by setting traps (and catching mice) -- however, we hadn't addressed the issue of how they were getting into our house... Can't say enough positive things about Alisa! We had another provider come out last year with mixed results. Stopped the mouse infestation but never came back out to recheck traps as had been promised, so this time when I discovered that the little furry invaders were back in our garage and elsewhere I called Alisa. She came out and re-sealed all the places where the mice had chewed their way past the prior barriers and reinforced them so that the mice won't be able to re-penetrate. She placed 15 traps in the garage, etc. and to show how bad the infestation was caught two mice before she'd even finished placing all the traps! We had multiple companies come and give an assessment of our house. Only Alisa and Xtreme Rodent Control even bothered to do a full attic and crawl space inspection. They took photos and wrote up the description of the problems which greatly helps in convincing the property owners to take action. Even without starting any of the actual trapping work, I can already give this company a 5 star review. You really get what you pay for... Yes, they charge $25 for the inspection, but what an amazing difference. The other companies barely poked their head in the attic opening. Also, the other companies in the area (I won't name them) tried to up-sell me saying that it was a dead rat causing the smell. I am not naive and I dealt with a similar issue a few years ago so I know the difference between a dead animal and a live nest (urine smell). If you hear noise in the attic, there is a good chance that rats are having party up there :( If so, just call Alisa and rest assured that she will get all your rats! After finding her on yelp, I emailed her and she responded back very promptly to setup an appointment for her to come for an inspection. She showed up at the appointment time. I was very impressed by her knowledge and was amazed that the rats/mice can come/go thru such tiny holes! She sounded very confident so I decided to hire her right away to get rid my rats. At next appointment she patched-up all the holes (mostly inside the attic but some from outside for roof and crawl space) and setup ~15 traps. She came back after about a week and found 3 rats in the traps. But she probably saw some more droppings and she decided to leave the traps for another week. Came back after a week and found that a mouse/rat stole the bait without triggering the trap. This time she setup some glue traps to observe and make sure there are no rats/mice in my attic/home. When we heard scratching in our wall we got a pit in our stomachs! I was anxious because knew it could be damaging our wiring and who knows what else! Worse it could be having babies in there and making an even bigger situation! I was afraid hiring someone thinking he (in this case she;)) would come, we would pay so much and they wouldn't even find it!! Well I was so wrong! This was the best thing we did for this situation! She found where the rat was coming in from. There was a hole between where our roofs overlapped?!!
