This has never happened before----most service companies give you a window that you are expected to be home and they usually show up later or not at all. Can't say enough good things about them. I'm thoroughly impressed with Alisa. She is very professional and efficient, prompt with replies and punctual with her visits. She and her assistant get right to work and are in and out of the place in no time, covering a lot of ground in their short visit. I used Alisa's service last December, I'm very happy with her service. She is always VERY punctual. If she says she will come at 9, then she will come at 9. Most other pest control guys give you a two hour window and waste your time. Alisa never wasted a single minute. She got into the crawlspace and fixed the vent holes from inside. Our previous pest control guys either didn't find the hole at all, or fixed it from outside that won't last. And then she came twice as promised to check on the traps she set in the crawlspace. She had some truck issue last December, but she kept her promise and fixed a breakage outside the 2nd floor attic after she got a new truck to fit in the longer ladder. I'm glad her business is expanding and she has an assistant now. She is a very hard working young lady, and serves to be a role model for girls. Alisa is the best pest extermination person we have met after interviewing and/or trying over 12 companies. All the big companies only want charge you every month to trap rodents, but don't find the entryways. In Alisa's inspection, she quickly identified 2 entryways that all other pest companies missed. She is more thorough in rodent entry prevention than anyone else. She is a one stop shop as she will block all the entrances and trap all the rodents both under the house and in the attic. I've had three different rat proofers (in different houses) over my life, and Alisa is hands-down the best. I wish I had known about her in the past as it would have saved me a lot of hassle and money. Alisa is thorough in her inspection and her work. She spotted at least three things that the previous inspectors missed. She even double-sealed some of the crawlspace vent entries that were looser. Her work is also pretty clean (you won't get concrete shoved everywhere haphazardly). Professional. Writing this review on behalf of my parents whose San Jose house had a rodent problem earlier this summer. My mom works from home and started hearing mice moving around the walls and attic during the day. Before she knew it, she saw a mouse running around. She found Alisa through Yelp. Though Alisa was booked 2 weeks out, she squeezed in a quick inspection one morning shortly after my mom called. Alisa checked the inside of house and sealed all possible holes (under sinks, in cabinets/closets) so that no more mice could enter. My parents then laid traps and were able to catch 3 mice. Later, Alisa returned for a more thorough inspection and found and sealed holes that animals (likely moles and gophers) dug through under the foundation in the subfloors. She set more traps and has since returned twice to check on them. Alisa will be coming back one more time in a month. Ever since we moved into our home more than a dozen years ago, I've struggled to keep critters out of our attic and crawl space. We have two big oak trees next to the house that attract an endless stream of acorn-loving rodents that treated our home as their storage facility, in-door bathroom, breeding ground, and final resting place. I read up on what I was supposed to do to chase them out, and did what I thought was necessary to keep them from coming back, but they always found a way to make me look like Wile E. Coyote. As we are considering selling our house, my wife finally put her foot down and ordered me to hire a professional. Honestly, I should have let Alisa do this 12 years ago (though that would have violated child labor laws). She is every bit as professional and responsive as all the other reviewers have indicated, and fast! I've had the distinct displeasure of crawling through some of the spaces she had to crawl through when I was 10 years younger and 20 lbs lighter. All I remember is that there was a lot of cussing, as well as seething hatred towards anyone who was not wedged between sewer pipes and air ducts while breathing rodent-feces-infested air like me. I don't know how Alisa does it, but she raced through all those obstacles and much more in no time at all, with her cheery disposition fully intact. More importantly, she found all the rodent highways and discovered many entry points that I totally missed, and worked diligently to patch them all. We have been rodent-free for more than 3 weeks, and it certainly looks like it will stay this way for the foreseeable future (Alisa guarantees it). The downside of Alisa's effectiveness is that we will probably never have the pleasure of seeing her again... If you are a middle-aged DIYer contemplating going to war with roof rats - Don't. After the rain earlier this year, we have uninvited guests from all our attics. After reading all the reviews, I decided to call Elisa. Let me tell you, she knows her stuff and is a pleasant person to work with. She first recommended to seal all the vents up in the attic before setting traps which I did. After all that was done, Elisa came as scheduled and did her magic! Two days after, we caught two rats who were the leaders in our attics. I was fortunate to have my handyman on site and so he took care of them although Elisa made plan to come out. Basically, Elisa is good, her price is fair and if needed, she will come right away to remove the dead rodent. Most importantly, she enjoys what she does and she is quick! Do not underestimate women! Didn't really want to write a review for Xtreme Rodent because the secret will be out and Alisa is already crazy busy but this young lady deserves the credit. Her costs were reasonable, and given the amount of effort she puts in, more than fair, in fact. She did a tremendous amount of work to make sure we were rat free after having rats both in the attic and the crawlspace. Well I know that I can't get rid of all the rats in the area I feel very confident that I won't have to deal with them in the attic anymore. In our case after we thought we were done, some more rats dug their way along the sewer line back into the crawlspace. So Alisa ended up putting about 10lbs of cement in their way and then returned over a few more weeks to make sure they didn't return. I hope I never have to use Alisa again but if the rats find a way back through her defenses we won't even consider calling anyone else read more

Despite it being a busy season for her (in April/May due to rodents looking for a cool place to nest), she was very responsive and attentive to our concerns when we reached out to her. The prior residents of our house let a rodent problem get out of control. I'll spare the ugly details, but it was beyond disgusting. We first hired a different (highly rated, but undeserving of their rating imo) rodent control company. They charged a lot of money for doing ineffective and sloppy work that didn't solve the problem. Thankfully we found Alisa. Alisa is amazing and one of my favorite contractors ever. Why? 1. She comes when she says she will. 2. She does what she says she will. 3. She's fearless and tackles the problem head-on. 4. She's proud of her work, honest and a good business owner. I also appreciate her rodent control methods. She does not use rodent poisons, and I can't emphasize enough how poisons are damaging and ineffective. Any animal that eats a poisoned mouse/rat ingests that poison too. By poisoning mice and rats, we're harming hawks, owls, coyotes, snakes, cats and anything that eats them. If that's not enough to deter you, consider that there's a chance that the poisoned rodent dies within the walls of your home -- not something you'd want to smell or deal with. Instead of poison, Alisa fixes the problem of rodents by the exclusion method and snap traps. Basically, she finds the entry point(s) and seals them up so the mice/rats can no longer get in. Alisa uses quality wire mesh to keep them out long-term. The snap traps she uses equal a quick death, not a drawn out tortuous and inhumane one. I am grateful we have Alisa on our team. Alisa gets a wow from me. She is a great mouse whisperer. She is very responsive, she responds to texts very fast. She is reasonably priced, and she does NOT charge you per catch!! Some other companies charge you an initial fee for coming out to investigate, and then more money per mouse, but Alisa is just different!!
