Not worth the money. When we showed up to get the lunch special, not only was there only two slices of old, different pizzas left, they also did not honor their lunch special, claiming it ended already. However, the southwest Austin location at William Cannon honors lunch specials until 4:30pm. I won't be coming back here. read more

The first two times I ordered from Yaghi's, it was great. All ingredients were tasty, crust was done without being burned, delivered on time. It was 4-stars. The third time - WOW. Though due to the owner's alleged (according to one of the employees) practice of KEEPING TIPS FOR HIMSELF it gets three stars instead of four. Seriously, there ought to be a law. ---- This pizza is GREAT, GREAT, GREAT. We recently moved from Chicago and are very picky about our pizza. This is good New York style pizza and one of the better pizza places in Austin. You can order pizza by the pie or get it by the slice (they have many different kinds ready to eat). It's not really an "eat in/sit and linger" restaurant but they do have two walls of high top built in tables and barstools. I rated it four [nb--three for me] stars, because the owner does not share in-house tips with his minimum wage employees. Drivers do get to keep their tips (they tend to service the front of the store too). Consequently if you would like to tip a cook or some other hard working employee, hand it to them directly. All the employees were warm and helpful the day I went. I will definitely go back when I am in the area. They also have other locations. read more

I walked in for a "Pizza by the slice" on a Saturday evening at 645pm, which should be the height of the dinner demand, and found they had 1 slice of old Pesto pizza with no more forthcoming. So I can't rate their pizza, but their preparations for walk in traffic are lacking. read more

In the past I liked the taste of the pizza. But, it's been awhile since I had it and I realized it's WAY OVER PRICED for what you are getting (ordering pizzas to go). I was also disappointed to find out the tip jar DOES NOT GO TO EMPLOYEES. So, I'll stop dropping 1's and change in there. Couldn't believe it. All that aside I think I'm more happy with the price and quality provided by Dominos down the street. This used to be a great place to get delivery from. Pizza and gyros especially. Literally the last three times we have ordered delivery they have gotten our order wrong. It's pizza and gyro's.... After the third issue, I called back and got to listen to the guy who took my order, argue with one of the cooks while I was waiting on the phone. They offered me a store credit. I said no thanks. Pretty much the worst pizza quality. I've had two experiences so far: 1. Ordered pepperoni and sausage. They delivered a pepperoni pizza that had been cooked and then threw on the sausage afterwards because someone must have abandoned their pizza. It was cold and I had to have them remake and redeliver. 2. Ordered pepperoni and mushroom. The delivery driver must have carried it on its side bc half of it was squished. The half that was not obliterated had one pepperoni per slice....this looks even worse than it sounds. All around half baked pizza. I should have known better but I needed delivery. Next time we'll just pick up from Tony C's which is much better quality. read more

After ordering a pizza for pick up being told they told us that they sent our pizza to someone else my sister and I waited 45 minutes while they dealt with 2 other messed up order's. We arrived home 1 hour later to find that they had not given us the right pizza again. Tonight we made the unfortunate decision to try them again. This time we ordered delivery. Once again we opened the box to find the pizza to be the wrong one again. Phone calls were made to speak with a manager who was unavailable. The owner was called and made it quite clear that it didn't matter that this has happened twice. When asked what they could do to make this right we asked for 2 free pizzas next time. This offer was thrown in our faces. Needless to say dine here at your own risk and don't expect the owner to care if there are discrepancies. read more

As a lifelong fan of Yaghi's, I never plan on returning. I walked in to pick up my called in order and needed to pay one portion of the check with cash and the rest with a card. The cashier told me that I couldn't do that, so I accepted the fact and let him know that I wouldn't be able to afford the pizza. The cashier proceeded to make a scene of my situation by yelling in front of several other employees "Why would you place an order if you don't have a method of payment!?" 1. That was extremely embarrassing. 2. I had a method of payment, however, you did not accept it. Then, he insulted my boyfriends hat and none of the other (at least five) employees did anything other than stare at us. I was speechless, I have never in my life experienced such bizarre and rude customer service as this. I will never go back. read more

First visit and definitely the last. Ordered a pizza with oil, spinach and feta, I advised the young guy that I did not want any tomatoes(allergic) on my pizza. The receipt indicated such. In addition I ordered an other pizza and chicken wings for my family. Upon arriving home, with my family gathered around the dinner table, opened my pizza box to find fresh tomatoes. Ok mistakes happened, so I immediately called and spoke with Zach. Instead of saying they were sorry or how can they make it right, Zach said "I did't make the pizza, so what do you want me to do about it?" He further said, "you should have looked at it before you left". Customer service? TERRIBLE! BTW, the other pepperoni pizza was not very good either. read more

So you call to place your delivery order, and even though you've ordered from this place a couple of times before, they have no record of your address, so you then spend God knows how long spelling out everything to a struggling order taker, despite the fact that English is clearly the first language for both of you. You're told it'll be 45-60 minutes for delivery. Okay, not a problem. But then your order taker calls back after 30 minutes: the bad news is that they have somehow managed to lose your address (so you once again have to spell it out for him). The good news is that your order is now on its way. Apparently, they take the long way because your delivery guy finally shows up forty-five minutes later (75 minutes total). You tip him 20% on top of a $31 bill which is for all of one pizza and one salad before realizing he has brought your pizza but not your salad. "Oh, sorry," he says. "I'll go back and get it." After he leaves, you conclude that you don't want to wait another 75 minutes for a salad that won't be eaten with the pizza, so you call and cancel it, asking them to credit your credit card. But they can't do that. They'll have the manager call you back instead. Uh-huh. So you and your family return to your pizza. It's cold. Yeah, you paid $31 + tip for one cold pizza. Boy, are you stupid. But a few days later, a ray of light manages to shine through the clouds of incompetence when not the manager but the actual owner calls you. You're impressed. He apologizes, but he clearly does not want to refund your money. Instead, he offers to leave a note at the store saying that when you next call in, he'll give you a free medium pizza along with the salad you've already paid for. Okay, whatever. You take the free pizza offer rather than insisting on your money back. Cut to: Three weeks later. Your family's in a mood for pizza again and you call to claim your pizza and salad. Cynical you who expects the worst gets a pleasant surprise -- the guy on the other end of the phone actually finds the owner's note. They actually know what you're talking about. So you order your pizza and salad thinking this is amazing and Mr. Yaghi is a stand-up guy. Unfortunately, however, cynical you was right to be cynical and it's all too good to be true: rather than give you a delivery time for your order, they tell you that the owner's offer is only good for pick-up. That's right, your delivery pizza has been converted to a pick-up. Can you talk to a manager about this? Nope. Take it or leave it. You leave it. You email the company asking what's up and asking for the refund you should've asked for in the first place. You never hear anything back. Yeah, it's just a salad but you work hard for your money and it's awfully irritating that these people feel like they can take it without giving anything in return, so you write this review encouraging your fellow humans to buy pizza from somebody else. Especially if you like your pizza warm and your money well-spent. UPDATE: the owner did contact me again and offered a full refund. I appreciate his wanting to keep customers happy and am sympathetic to how difficult it must be to staff restaurants like this. read more

I suppose this place is good in a pinch, but it is over priced and under cooked. The pizza is droopey and always seems a little wet. The middle of the pizza kinda grosses me out. You should be able to fold a pizza and have it hold it's shape so you can bite off the tip....yes, on thin crust too. This soggy pizza is not like that at all. Further, it's a little expensive. I'd pay these prices at some of the other pizzarias in town, but not at a take-out type of joint like this one. Pass. read more

Beware of this place!!! The pizza IS delicious but pay attention to the people who are serving and making your pizzas. I worked at this location for awhile and the managers are not only rude people but they are also disgusting. They would come into the store with a LIT cigar, set it on the edge of the counter and then proceed to make pizzas. Without washing their hands of course!!!! I have been going to the Bee Cave location for years and have noticed over the past few months a signficant decline, especially in the toppings---- few and far between!! When I ordered last night and commented about the toppings, the clerk was rude. When I went to pick up my order, the clerk was even ruder--- I informed her that I may need to consider whether I will continue to order here and she indicated--- "well we have heard that ALOT today!!" Horrible! I just ordered a $30 pizza for delivery. The pizza is so soggy that I can't even get a piece out of the box without it falling apart. On top of that, zero flavor. It literally tastes like eating cardboard with little bits of cardboard on top of it. Oh.....and it was cold. Yep, cold. Somehow, within that one mile to my house, the pizza got cold. We ordered our pizza 2 hours ago (and they promise within 60 minutes). I called an hour and a half in, and Nick said that the deliverer had already left. I called back again at 2 hours, and Nick said the deliverer left 15 minutes ago. You do the math. Nick said that he read the wrong ticket, I lean towards him simply lying to me in the first place. Terrible experience on delivery. I ordered over $50 worth of pizzas. After an hour the delivery driver called said he went to the wrong part of town and it would be another 20-30 minutes to get here. So, I'd get cold pizza and after a hour plus another 20-30 minutes. So I called the store and after they put me on hold for a long time they said it would be another 45 minutes or longer for them to remake the order and get it to me. I live less than 10 minutes from the store. It's not hard to make basic pizza and certainly not hard to type in a simple address with today's technology to find the right house. Wow. read more

I ordered a calzone and a pizza online/paid. i'm too far for delivery (10mi ea way). I get there and they ask if i've paid already. shouldn't it be obvious that i've paid? So, get my order and leave. arrive home and the calzone is burned, stinky burned, very dark color. I call yaghi's to complain that my calzone is burned. initial response i get, 'sorry dude...can you hand on a second.' comes back, we're sorry its burned...we didn't look at it before we gave it to you. I was like...so, maybe whomever cooked it might have noticed it was burned?!?...right?!?! We can make another one for you...and i tell this guy...its a 20mi round trip for me..i'm not coming back...that would be a 40mi trip to get a calzone done right. I was born and raised in New York. Yaghi's is the best pizza in Texas. I drive an extra 20-30 minutes once or twice a month to bring it home to my wife and kids. Do yourself a favor and get the peperoni pizza... Its like dying and going to heaven. Thank you Yaghi's!!! read more

The pizza was decent, nothing to crow about, but I will not be going back here due to the cost and pricing practices. We ordered ONE topping as we always do with at least 20 different pizza places over my lifetime and we split the topping down the middle - half pepperoni, half olive. When we got the bill, they had charged us for two toppings. Now this may not seem like a lot, but we found it very sneaky, deceitful, and just plain wrong. NO OTHER PIZZA PLACE has EVER charged us for two toppings when doing half and half. The clerk argued with me about it for a few minutes and refused to give in. This is the best pizza I've ever had. And, I LOVE pizza. So far my favorite pizza was Carabba's, but not anymore. We live out in Spicewood, which means to get to Yaghis, it's an hour drive round trip. Yaghi's is worth the drive! The crust is amazing. The sauce was just right. Perfect pizza. I can no longer go to Dominos pizza or the other places, Yaghi's just rocks! And, pizza, by the slice, perfect! I can grab two slices for $2.5 each and head back home in five minutes or less :) read more

Very disappointed in this place. I ordered one single cheese pizza and they never delivered the pizza. I called them at least 3 times checking and every time I called they would say it's already been sent out. I called the owner and he was very rude to me and completely insensitive. Not how any manager should ever be to their customers! he didn't even offer to give me a free pizza after waiting 4 hours for it and it never showed. I will never eat here again. read more
