BOMB AF I DONT WANT TO FINISH MY FOOD BC ITS SO GOOD .. i want to savor every last bite bomb noodles ,bomb rice ,bomb filet mignon If you are ever in DTLA pull up !!

Chicken plate +noodle upcharge
David E.

As you can see I ate some of the food already, so I shouldn't be complaining but I was starving. Obviously it can't be that bad if I ate it.. That being said, this is NOT Japanese cuisine. This is Linguine with yakisoba sauce. If you're used to having Japanese you'd know that yakisoba is made with wheat noodles. The linguine threw everything off! Secondly, this was supposed to include veggies. As you can see, there aren't any veggies AT ALL! Not even at the bottom. Veggies would've been nice to balance all those noodles. Lastly, the chicken is DRYYYYY. I paid $16 for these noodles +$3 up charge for noodles +$3 service fee +$5 tip. This was soooo not worth it, I'm sorry.

Platinum Mini - wagyu, bacon scallops, & spicy noodles
Angelica L.

We were on our way home and stumbled upon this truck on the corner of the street by the Metro near Circa. We ordered a platinum mini ($28) in which you can choose 2 items on the list and either fried rice or noodles. It took 15 minutes to make so we walked around Circa. Yakitana is more high end than other food trucks in that they give you fancy silverware and a nice togo box cover. They also have nice black seating tables for you to dine. They also gave 4 different sauces which was really nice. It was definitely pricey and not worth it for a box of spicy noodles with 2 skewers. The wagyu was pretty good but not melt-in-your mouth. The bacon scallops were overcooked & hard. The spicy noodles were really good to me and the one item I would order again (if reasonably priced).

Receipt. Ordered the P2 and bottle water.

I was glad a could order a healthy meal..for the most part compared to McDonald's, Popeyes etc late in the evening near Staples. With that said, the food was just OK. The white rice wasn't the best..just ok like the rest of the meal. It was a bit pricey but once I got my order, I sort of understood why. The Tupperware they use is high quality (reuse it for work), they give you way above the sauces needed (half of what was given was all the was needed) and the packaging/marketing was very nicely put together. With that said, they should save on the cost of the above and buy better white rice. Again, I would come back only because a) I expense my meals for work b) healthier options at this late evening. Check out the price in the pic so you don't get surprised.

2 skewer combo with Lamb Chops and Filet Mignon

I was very surprised with this food truck! I didn't expect to fall in love with their food so much. I ordered the 2 skewer combo with Lamb Chops and Filet Mignon. The lamb chops were divine. Melted in my mouth and had so much juicy flavor!! I also got the spicy noodles and spicy fried rice and it's the best fried rice and noodles from ANY HIBACHI place hands down!!! Make sure you try their yum yum sauce!!!! Definitely will be back!

Presentation of the food truck is clean. Has a nice seating area. Food took a bit longer had to wait about 30 min. Not sure if you can call in an order. Didn't try. Pretty pricey, but then again getting wagyu and scallop etc some "premium" meats. Side portions is hefty. I got a side of white steamed rice and added chicken. They mistakenly gave me friend rice and walked over to stop me from eating it to fix, but it was fine. Big portion of fried rice with chicken. I got the following platinum bowl (4 skewers) Wagyu- nicely cooked, juicy Bacon asparagus-ok Filet mignon-juicy Lamb- interesting they marinated it with a sweet marinade. Tasted more like a pork chop. Unless I had pork chop without realizing it. -1 star wait time. Only thing is it's a great concept, but yakitori is better when the skewers are served as soon as they're cooked, otherwise it's cooled and doesn't taste as good as it was right off the grill. So I personally wouldn't do take out. Maybe fine tune menu to perhaps have food that cook at the same rate.

Some filet ,asparagus, lamb , salmon, chicken, pork belly!! Oooooooooooh some

This is my 8th LA smash burger and it's definitely a top three contender! The ratios were on point. The lemon pepper fries were killer. The bulgogi fries were strangely good for no one appearing to be Korean who worked there. Big fresh jalapeños on top with the perfect amount of sauce. GREAT home made pickles on the burger to offset the rich patty and cheese. The service was TOP tier. Took a little longer than most, but tasted better than most! So pick your poison! Great outdoor seating in a bar next door with its own brewery. They have a deal going so you can use that place. Sat in a cool outdoor patio area with fake grass and a nice fence. Nice shade. Cool Glendale vibes.

Customizations were no problem at all, and the turnaround time from ordering to pickup was exactly as promised. Their vegan options are full of flavor and definitely not an afterthought. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- especially for an indecisive person like me -- pointing out what's popular, what they personally like, and what they recommend. I chose to go the "build your own" route and landed on: 1. Base: Chili Garlic 2. Noodles: Yakisoba 3. Protein: Fire-grilled chicken 4. Toppings: Carrots, cabbage, red peppers, sesame seeds, crunchy chili garlic The portions are solid -- I easily got two meals out of one bowl. Since I like spice, they gave me a side of their spicy sauce, which added both sweetness and heat. With all the sauce, it was definitely a bit messy, but the flavor was bold and the kick was real. The noodles and chicken were cooked well, though next time I might choose something a little less intense so I can better appreciate all the ingredients. With that much heat and garlic, some of the other flavors got lost. All in all, lunch for about $25 on Abbot Kinney is a great deal, and I'll definitely be back to try more combinations!

The food was made fresh so served hot and the taste was delicious. HOWEVER. I did takeout and didn't look at the container until I opened it to eat. Major disappointment and concern as their thin plastic containers are most likely not heat resistant, which means chemicals leach into food. Cool concept as a store offering only noodle dishes but PLEASE change your serving and takeout containers!!

However, there was street residential parking, which was what I did! Got there a little past 9am and there was already 20-30 ahead of me! Really enjoyed how organized the event was and everyone was very friendly! Was it worth the 2 hour wait? Hell yeah! I met Roy Choi & Karen Cheung (daughter of Sam Woo's founder!) There was even Kogi x Sam Woo merch sold! (T-shirt - $35 & hat - $25) The Roast Duck Kimchi Taco ($24) came with 3 tacos with roasted duck, grilled kimchi, Kogi sauce, and sesame seeds..the roast duck was marinated very well and the skin was so crispy! Didn't taste much of the kimchi but the Kogi sauce was sweet and packed with delicious flavor! Char Siu Blackjack Quesadilla ($24) consisted of cha siu pork with cilantro onion lime relish and cheese. The quesadilla was so cheesy and the cha siu was packed with flavor. It was roasted to perfection and tasted so amazing! Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the Collab even though it was slightly pricey.
