Everybody was friendly and attentive, and the service didn't suffer from the crowds. Only negative was certain beers being out, took 3 tries to pick one that was still on tap. Our waitress stayed on it though, and took good care of us all through the meal. I used to love this place but unfortunately after tonight, I don't think I can come back. I brought my vegan family members here & the menu states they have non dairy cheese. Great! They ordered that substitute for their nachos. The food comes out & it is very crispy - one family member eats a few bites before we decide to send back to get remade. It was only then that we were notified the cheese was not vegan cheese. My family member is unfortunately very sick because of this careless act. I don't know if we just caught them on an off day but we were both not very impressed with our meals. I git a burger and she got a pizza and as we were talking during the meal we kinda noticed neither of use was particularly enjoying it. The burger was pretty oily and the pizza was dry. And it was extra to add meat to an already over priced pizza. The atmosphere was nice and so was the server but I just didn't feel like we got our money's worth. I've been here many times and it's a solid restaurant. There's literally something for everyone even vegan and vegetarian. The drinks are great and the service is as well. I just tried the new expresso Martini and it was good. A little too heavy on the expresso for my taste though. The calamari was great as well. We sat on the patio and luckily it's covered so it wasn't too hot. And we got to people watch. For my meal, I actually got the firecracker shrimp appetizer. It was great. Park in the blue garage for the closest parking. They also have a link on their website to get in line before you arrive so you don't have to wait too long. read more

I came here for the happy hour and I had high hopes. Being located within the Domain is convenient. The atmosphere was bustling with groups and a large number of parties all drinking. The service was on the slower side and we had to ask for missing items multiple times. The food was subpar and we all got tired of the food and had to eventually ask for it to-go. We absolutely love yard houses HH! We have tried bunch of there appetizers and they are all pretty good, and most of there appetizers are 50% off and pizzas too. But if it's outside the HH time, I this it's bit pricey. Chicken nachos: skimpy on the chicken and too much of sour cream. Korean chicken wings: it was pretty good, it had a nice hint with a hint of sweetness and our kiddo loved it. Onion rings: I mostly don't like onion rings because it's greasy and feels heavy, but at the YH, it's light, crispy and non greasy. Chicken strips: chicken strips comes with the small basket of fries, chicken stripes itself doesn't have much flavors or seasoning, but it's good if you dip it in some sauce. They don't have online reservations, so that sucks. Ordering and paying is with the tablet they have on the table and that's not convenient either, we had to try atleast 4-5 times for payment to go through and it's so confusing, otherwise everything else is good. read more

I went to the Yard House today for the first time for their happy hour. We ordered two rounds of beer and plenty of food (at 1/2 price). Everything we had was great, and I particularly love their poke nachos, fried calamari and French . The happy hour pizza was pretty worth the price too. Will go back again! A very chill sports bar. Crossed our fingers and brought kids with us out in the Domain on a Friday because we had family in town. We were able to walk in without a reservation at 6pm and be seated right away. For appetizer, we had the cheese dip, which usually isn't anything to write home about, but the chiles definitely added pop to the cheese. I've been to other locations many times primarily for bar food, but was surprised with their spicy jambalaya. Great flavor and plenty of meat without being too oily or spicy. Service wise they were very quick and attentive, which was appreciated with kids. The volume was low enough to have a conversation, but loud enough to not feel like we were disturbing others. Let's set the scene: my best friend and I went out to lunch on a Wednesday afternoon as a final get-together before she becomes a Mrs. and brings her single era to a close. Suffice to say, we were here to enjoy ourselves and spend these moments together while we could. We ordered a *bunch* of things. (Note: see pics for reference if you're a visual foodie like me) For appetizers, we opted for the Brussel sprouts and sliders. Entrees were Fish and Chips and their Salmon dish. Everything looked pretty appetizing when it came out so presentation 10/10. The sliders were okay, only had cheese and you add your own condiments so nothing crazy. The Brussel sprouts with the sauce that comes with it were my star of the night in my opinion. My bestie also noted she loved her salmon dish; it was her first time trying it and was thoroughly impressed. On the flips-side, I wouldn't order the fish and chips again. Aside from the portions being absolutely huge, it just wasn't that great. It was not the freshest fish I've ever had, though I'm well aware it's not much of the restaurant's fault as we are hundreds of miles from the nearest ocean and it was ultimately my decision to order fish. The menu is huge by the way, so I'm sure there's something for everyone to enjoy from here. Service is the highlight of my review! The staff was very attentive even when we weren't necessarily their table - refills STAT! Loved! I will say towards the end we might've been overly checked up on a bit and felt a bit inclined to leave quicker before the dinner rush (it was about 4:30 by the end of it I'd say, we arrived at 3:30 or so), but honestly it wasn't a huge deal and I'm still pleased with it all. All in all, it was a decent experience. Again, the menu is very big and has a little of everything so you're bound to find something you like. It's worth a try and regardless of where you fall on the spectrum of loving or hating it, I'm glad I got to experience this domain location. read more

I get it - I was there at happy hour. But customer service at this joint is lacking and I guess they get away with it by being at the Domain. It took 1-3 minutes for me to be greeted - when I was tossed a menu and welcomed to the restaurant. I was ready to order but they didn't bother attending to me after then menu toss. Another 2-4 minutes - I was able to use my phone to understand happy hour and eventually another bartender came to take my order (Shiloh). And after my happy hour meal, I wanted to order a second beer - but all the tenders were walking by - even tho I placed my empty beer glass away from me and visible to a passing bartender. I ended up flagging down a floor server who kindly got my name and handled alerting a bartender to serve me a beer. Shiloh returned and checked on me and I told her how challenging it was to get a beer. She was great. The food was better than average. The beer was great. But the bartenders could use some training in anticipating the needs of customers. Also their happy hour offers a lot of items at 1/2 off. One of my very favorite upscale burger places (although that is an understatement, as they have a lot of other great things to eat and drink). I always get the classic cheese burger medium well (I know, I know... I'm not allowed to eat really juicy meats for health reasons). We got one cheeseburger with fries, and the other with onion rings. I think the buns may be fresh made inhouse. They were really fresh and soft with light and black roasted sesame seeds. The onion rings are battered (really good). Good fresh french fries. And the burgers taste like they are cooked on an open flame broiler. The worst part is that I can't eat nearly as much as I used to. So I normally have to leave some of it on the plate. Nevertheless, what portion I can eat, was really good. I came here today with my Wife, Son, and Mom and despite the beginning starting off a little rocky it finished pretty good. The service started off pretty slow and there was a group of like 10 kids all at one table that were being very loud. Thank goodness they eventually left so it quieted down some. I got the Bone-in Ribeye steak and I just want to say the house made steak sauce was AMAZING. MY wife got the lobster noodle bowl and she was very pleased with it. Delicious food, fantastic service, and they have a wide selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages. From their appetizers, I enjoyed the Onion Ring Tower, but the Poke Nachos is a must. The Poke Nachos had excellent toppings, fresh ahi tuna, and the sauces on top paired perfectly with the crispy wonton chips. I couldn't get enough of it. I also ordered the Coconut Shrimp and the Boneless Wings with half Buffalo and half Whiskey Black Pepper sauce, but I wouldn't recommend either of those appetizers. As for my main course, I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and it was great. The bun was soft, and it had a crunchy breading on the juicy fried chicken. Overall, Yard House had a great vibe, our server was fantastic, there was plenty of seating indoors and out in the patio, and the food was delicious. Not my first time at Yard House but this past Sunday was my first visit for the Austin Domain location. Staff was super polite and courtesy - quickly greeted and escorted us to our table. Every staff member wore masks and patrons were spaced apart for social distancing. I ordered the Lobster Bisque Agnolotti which did not disappoint; paired with the mango mojito - delicious. Hubby went for the bacon cheeseburger and the crown apple mule which really surprised him - super tasty. Very pleased with quality of food, service and price - all three remain consistent.
