I have always loved this place and this location but today Im not I still feel the same. The hostess' attitude was abominable. Our waitress couldn't have been less interested in her job. On top of all the bad service I then ordered a beer. Fifteen minutes after I was told they were changing the keg. Finally fifteen minutes after that update I asked if I would be getting a beer and was then informed they were out. Ordered the kale Caesar salad asked for additional dressing and had to ask again after 10 minutes. Service today was the worst I have ever experienced at any of their locations. We had a fairly large group (around 40 people) that came here for a corporate event. This event was booked for at least 1-2 months ahead of time so management had plenty of time to prepare and ensure staffing needs were adequate. We had one waitress for the entire event. One. She was the sweetest person and was running around like crazy the entire night to ensure everyone had everything they needed. Poor thing. However, this meant that everything we ordered took FOREVER to come out. Apps, drinks, starters, and entrees, everything. There was also some miscommunication regarding what people were allowed to order, which luckily we were able to clear up pretty easily. Everyone ordered a starter (soup or salad) and an entree. The starters took over an hour to come out, even though they were extremely simple and already pre made. What was also funny was that the soups came in a small bowl but the salads were HUGE. They were entree size even though they were meant to be starters. As for mains, it seemed like no one really enjoyed the food. Several people at our table got the coconut shrimp with rice and every single one ate a bite of their rice and pushed it away. The rice was severely undercooked, hard, and tasteless. On my end, I got the BBQ bacon hamburger on a lettuce bun. While not bad, it wasn't cooked to order (I had asked for well done, they made it medium) and was a little on the greasy side. I ate about half of it and then had to stop. On the plus side, the apps were super tasty - lobster, crab, and artichoke dip, onion rings, and buffalo wings (although the wings were a little on the salty side). Went here to celebrate brother getting a job and boyfriend getting promoted. Service was real quick and we got a table as soon as we walked in. Small parties yay!! We ordered smores brownie, onion ring tower, pizza with pepperoni, Mediterranean salmon, and a burger. Smores: we would've liked it a lot more if it came with icecream... it came out hot and was delicious. We just took it home and ate it with icecream. Wouldn't recommend if you prefer your gooey brownies with icecream. Pizza: was delicious and very simple Mediterranean: I replaced the veggies with spinach mashed potatoes. We came to get a bite to eat New Year's Day and we were not disappointed!! Rikki our bartender was amazing and took great care of us! Her suggestions were perfect. My husband ordered chicken tenders and fries, and I ordered the grilled cheese with bacon and avocado and it was to die for! With tomato bisque soup!! Delicious. Rikki made me a delicious bloody mary with bacon and my husband had Crown with a splash of Sprite. Everything was perfect. A great way to end our stay in Austin for New Year's. My friend invited me here since we haven't seen each other in a while. I love this place! It's super big and very conveniently close to the parking garage, so when it's cold and rainy like today, it makes a huge difference. I ordered the salmon creek Chardonnay and the Nashville's hot chicken as the house favorite and because of the previous reviews I read here. I also got the chicken tortilla soup, very very good!!! My friend and I shared the small peach cobbler,one of my favorite desserts. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the place is very clean, which I appreciate. Their menu is so big, it takes more than a few times to check all there is to try. They have a great selection of cocktails, wine and of course beer. One of my favorites. I visited here the first time a few weeks after it opened and was so excited that I was able to park pretty much directly outside. Well now everybody knows about it but there's still plenty of parking in the parking garages. The service has been consistently good. Food prices can be high so I always say come during Happy Hour. 3 to 6 p.m. mon- fruday and they also have reverse happy hour Sunday to Thursday. Service at the bar area and on the patio has always been good for me and the servers are friendly and helpful. Their menus clearly state what is on happy hour and how much it is. No surprises. I recommend any of the pizzas, parmesan fries, the spinach dip or the lobster dip. Good consistent beer selection. I always leave full, satified and happy. Can't ask for more. read more

I have not had time to contact or go up to the establishment in regards to this matter but WTF... Y'all are aware that it's a pork burger right?? Was here for a team meeting, we walked in with 11 people no reservation and the place was packed but they found us a place at the bar. The apps were all great, naturally there are a zillon different options for beer and they have a full bar too. We ordered plenty of good apps, all were good including boneless wings, lettuce cups and chips and gach. I made the initial mistake of ordering a new item on the menu a Korean Ribeye, hey I know this isn't a place to order a steak but I am in TX for dinner and was secretly hoping for a steakhouse. The bar tender said "you should order the pork chop" but I figured i will try this. So this thing comes and it is paper thin, I ordered it medium rare, I knew immediately this wasn't going to have a prayer or being even medium. Sure enough it was well done. I called bar tender and she immediately offered to redo it, I told her that I would take her up on the pork chop. Holy CRAP, that was seriously the best pork chop i have ever had. I take pride in my cooking and I can make a steak as good or better than nearly any steak house (give me a Costco Prime NY Strip and my Weber BBQ) but this pork chop was sooooo good. The location is superb... at the end or the beginning of the northside Domain, depending on where you start The space it's self is large, dark, and loud... a bit too loud. lots of tables, no waiting at 5:45 on a Saturday.. that is nice... and a huge bar at the center. TVs everywhere showing sports. Really a great atmosphere. There are 150 beers on tap, (150 beers!!!) a pretty good wine selection and cocktails. You can do a flight of 4 beers to sample... I did 4 different dark beers.. they were all good accept the last one. It was dreadful (see pics for list of beers I tried) The menu is huge (my pic was only of the front.. there is a full back side yet too!) lots and lots of selection. We started with the calamari... it was ok, a bit greasy but once dipped in the jalapeño tartar sauce it was fantastic! Then I had the vampire tacos... Devine... flavor filled explosion! Truly fantastic! I would eat them again and again.. the rice was good... the beans are good, but the vampire tacos are a dish to be savored and then devoured! Chop chew swallow... repeat! My wife and sons had pizza. My sons loved their cheese pizza... so much that they ate more then usual. Their meals came with a desert... ice cream for one and a rice Krispy treat with Oreos in it on a stick! This was seriously tasty! My wife said her pizza crust was really really good... we all are more then we should have... it was just too good to stop. My son and I had lunch at The Yard House yesterday and it was A-Amazing!! Emma was our server, she is so sweet and positive - like a ray of sunshine! She offered suggestions and was very attentive. Excellent service :o) I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza and Ranch Salad (lunch menu $9.95) - it was incredible! And, a very large portion. So flavorful! My son had the Filet and White Cheddar Melt. Oh my!! Huge (pictured)!! Delicious! Truffle fries were a nice added touch (Emma's suggestion) - we didn't know what we were missing and I will be forever craving these fries. The menu is very broad and really offers something for everyone: gluten free, vegetarian, bread lovers, sweet tooth's, etc. The atmosphere is definitely a bar but also family friendly with many tables/booths. We were here for a friend's birthday lunch. The place is pretty big and can accommodate large groups. They have TVs around the restaurant so you won't miss any major sporting events. They have an extensive menu ranging from Asian, Italian, Mexican to American food and offering popular dishes from those regions. On this visit I chose fried calamari for my appetizer and the spicy jambalaya as my entree. The calamari was seasoned well. The sauces that came with it was the spicy tomato sauce and roasted jalapeño tarter sauce. Both of these sauces were very good to dip the calamari into and complemented it pretty well. Next was my Spicy jambalaya. The jambalaya was heavily buttered and for people who like it that way, kudos to them. The spiciness that I was craving in a jambalaya wasn't there. Brought my friend here for a birthday lunch. It was about 1pm on a Thursday and there were quite a few folks here. Parking in the Domain is terrible so know that going in. We were seated immediately and our server was fantastic. She was very friendly, courteous and took very good care of us. We started off with a California roll, which was very good, and very different as far as presentation. He had the Poke bowl and I had the black truffle cheeseburger. I did not try the poke bowl but it looked good. I was slightly disappointed in the burger as I could not taste any of the truffles. The fries were fine, but nothing to write about. The burger was ok, although I would not order it again. One of our 6 folks lives in Austin and recommended it for 3 primary reasons: 1) Great beer menu, 2) food menu with choices for any preference/situation and 3) it's a very close walk from the hotel that the rest of us were staying in. We ordered a bunch of appetizers that were very good...served hot and clearly made to order: wings, lobster crab dip, ahi tuna nachos, ahi tuna salad and fried mac and cheese. Some artery clogging fried goodness "balanced" out with a couple of "healthier" options. Everything was really good. I was also so hungry that I was eyeballing my own arm before we got to the restaurant, but I don't think that influenced my opinion. Main dish choices included tacos, ribs, fish tacos, and a stir fry. I had the fish tacos and enjoyed them thoroughly. The rice that came on the side was very flavorful but I was already kinda full from engorging myself on the appetizers. Adult beverages were good - I had a chocolate belgian stout that was stout-standing! (see what I did there?). We had a good time. I felt bad for our server - he was very patient with a bunch of obnoxious, hungry people (mostly) from the northeast. The interior layout and the lighting is very subtle and great for a date with a very wide selection of mixed drinks and and beer on tap. What a great surprise! I have passed the Yard House several times since I moved to Austin, and never eaten there. Finally, last night I had dinner at the Yard, and was so pleased. First, Miguel, our young wonderful Server who was just the BESTEST-helpful, kind and patient. You couldn't ask for more. Second, the food, the appetizers, buffalo wings and Sushi Nachos were so impressive, fresh and tasty. The bacon cheese burger were amazing. Good beef, and delicious fries. Returning back to eating out after quarantine was something that couldn't come soon enough. This place was in the domain so the area was obviously very nice and a lot to do right in the vicinity. It was really nice being to come here and no masks were required except by the workers. They were taking precautions though such as keeping tables seated far enough away from one another. I am writing this review about 3 weeks after my visit so I don't remember exactly what I ordered, but it truly was a fantastic meal. This place had been on my list of places to try for quite sometime so I did have high expectations and they were certainly met. My meal in total ended up about $30 so it wasn't cheap, but the quality was well worth it. Would certainly recommend this place to people who are looking to eat in the domain. Came out here during a team outing with my new coworkers. Delicious! There are a lot of things to offer and the menu is huge, but don't let that intimidate you, there's something for everyone! They offer varieties to burgers, pizza, tacos, burritos, and salads but of course with their own little flair on everything. Service was great especially since we had a party of 19 people. Everything was well coordinated and came out in time, so perfect place to invite a group of friends for a party or sporting event. I ended up getting 2 tacos, one Korean BBQ short ribs which was very good and tasted pretty authentic just in taco form. The other was called the vampire taco, don't let the name scare you. A delicious taco with cheese melted within the bun itself.
