The service was very good our waiter Austin was very kind and gave great recommendations on food. The food was pretty good. I was with my family of 6 and we got the spicy jambalaya, house cheesesteak, fish and chips, the turkey sandwhich, tuna salad, and my dad got the 20oz ribye steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli . He says that he asked for a medium steak and they gave him a medium well. The waiter noticed his steak was wrong and took it back for him to get another one. They come back a few minutes later with a almost well done steak. He also states that his broccoli was overcooked as well. The manager came out and apologized for it all and was very kind about it. We visited this one in Indianapolis, but we just found out there is one very close to home. We will definitely check that out! They have it incredible selection of taps. Even more importantly, the wait staff knows the beer well. If you read my reviews, you know my IPA is very important to me. I was able to give them an example of things I liked and they were able to suggest several things and let me try them. Mmmm. We had a bunch of appetizers. I'm pretty sure it was happy hour. It was the typical bar food but it was well done and the portions were huge. Did I say huge? Over the top huge! If you want to have a really fun night, go here, grab a a few snacks and brew and then go to Bad Axe Throwing down the street. That's what we did and it was a blast! read more

My first time at yard house and the menu was a bit overwhelming BUT i finally decided on the Nashville chicken sand which and queso dip as an app. The queso dip was AMAZING. We literally scrapped the cheese from the the tray. The Nashville sandwich was good, not great but the gingery slaw and mayo brought the flavors together. I wish the chicken could have been more spicy. But overall the experience was good, the service was great, Amy did a phenomenal job waiting out table. I'd come back. read more

Happy hours from 4 to 6! Whoop whoop! This is beginning to be our go-to place before concerts @ Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Everything we have gotten from there has been great. The moo shu egg rolls are one of my favorites so far. It's always really busy when we go in there but we never hardly have to wait for a table. Very good vibes and food. When you walk in, to the right are the beer kegs i think they have over 100 beers on tap. To the left, is their wine cellar with a large variation as well. I went with a party of 4. Our server wasn't very attentive but the managers reassurance and check up was great so maybe the server was new or it just wasn't their day. I had the shrimp tacos, which are fire !!!!! Everything inside of them just meshes together and creates so much flavor. Below are pics of our food. If I could add videos I would but everything was top tier. Except the nachos. Don't get the nachos , they're fully loaded but bland (no flavor what so ever). My boyfriend had the spinach artichoke dip. The dip was cheesy but no seasoning. All of the dishes are large and well worth the price . Definitely will revisit and return. read more

Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds Deep fried goodness. I loved the dipping sauces...horseradish aioli and the honey hot sauce gave the right amount of heat and sweet to accent the curds. The buttermilk batter gave the curds a nice lightly breaded perfect crunch. Parmesan Crusted Pork Loin Excellent presentation. Bourbon-sage-cherry shallot sauce sold me on this dish. The Pork chop was tender and delicious in the Parmesan crust. The mashed sweet potato was lightly sweetened which was a good compliment to the sweet Bourbon-sage-cherry shallot sauce. I didn't particularly like the wood/smoked flavor to the Broccolini. Portions were large for both, you won't leave hungry. Mini Trio Sampler Creme Brûlée: Bananas on top and the touch of a few chocolate chips on the bottom gave a different edge to a timeless favorite of mine. This is my new favorite dessert!! Loved this!! Peach Cobbler: Good crust to peach ratio, it's not your grandma cobbler nor the good southern type I love but it was good nevertheless. I'm a cobbler snob so the average person would love it. Chocolate Soufflé Cake: I didn't like this one too much. It was very rich and if I was a big dark chocolate fan I probably would've loved it, just not my thing. Olivia was a great waitress. Very attentive, kept the drink refills coming before I could ask. I have been a couple times and am always pleased with the service here. A group of 8 of us went after a charity walk downtown and were treated very well. A friend of mine was able to find a gluten free entree. We ordered a couple appetizers and had a variety of beer. I love their alcohol selection. We all like to order different items and try each other's. Everyone was satisfied. Great location for large groups. Bathrooms were clean. The food may have been good, but then who goes to a place with a 140 beer taps for the food. It may be delicious, but the beer selection is fantastic and the bar staff are more than happy to pour samples. We had stout, lagers and an IPA that were all to out pallets that are used to sitting at bars with 10 taps. The seating area was very nice and the location excellent with plenty of parking at the mall parking lot. Great place for a cold one! read more

I am a big fan f this chain. I think they have great food consistently across the menu and a spectacular variety of drinks on tap. They had the Ace Pineapple Cider on tap which is one of my favorites! I went on a Sunday at 6 pm and it was really empty, guess I'm used to the bustle of California cause it would have been packed. We each got a pineapple cider which I highly recommend if you don't like beer much. We got the chick lettuce wraps and I got the chicken enchilada stack which is one of my favorite menu items. It was delicious as always! Our server was really good; attentive and came over enough times throughout the meal. After reading so many good reviews of the Yard House in Austin, we checked it out in Indy since we were there and it was nearby. Ambiance: dark, casual vibe. This place is a sports bar and offers over 100 beers on tap. Cheers! Service: We came in on a Tuesday evening and we were starving! It took us a long time to get somebody to take our drinks or to even greet us after we sat down. The service was lacking, but the waitress was nice. We let the manager on duty know that while the waitress was nice, she was overextended. There are many conferences going on that week and I guess staffing was an issue. Food: The calamari appetizer was good. I ordered the spicy jambalaya (house favorite). The shrimp were big! Yum! The sauce I was hoping would be more spicy. I asked for the spicy rice to go with it and I'm glad I did. I tried my coworker's carne asada with shrimp enchilada stack now that was TASTY! The chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. It is a bit noisy so it was hard to hold a conversation. We had a very large party of 24 so we sat at different tables but that was OK. Yard House is a slept on option, but I always have an excellent experience when I come it is more of an upscale sports bar but the food is great and the vibe is really casual without being trashy. The yard house is always consistent good food. I go for the food happy hour which varies by location but usually m-f 3-6pm and. 10pm to close. You get 1/2 off most appetizers. The tuna stack is awesome and healthy. My favorite. Ahi sashimi can't be beat for $7 during happy hour. Whenever I travel I always look for a yardhouse. Great food and great happy hour. Go Early. That's my advice if you decide to go to the Yard House downtown on a Friday especially when there is an event. Downtown has so many choices when it comes to where to go for some food and a drink. If you like craft beer, not many places have a larger selection of craft beers than the Yard House. It's pretty incredible. Easily, we found a place in the bar, welcomed by 3 separate bartenders ensuring we felt seen and appreciated which we thought was nice. Prince, our bartender, was beyond terrific and also provided us some excellent drink recommendations. After ordering some appetizers (the cheese curds and Parmesan fries) and having a few drinks, we looked around and there wasn't one seat available in the bar. It was amazing how quickly the entire restaurant filled up. Had to be within a matter of 30 minutes, If we didn't have somewhere to be, I'm fairly certain we would have stayed at least a few more hours. It was just a really comfortable environment. People obviously know how great this place is and that was proven by the line waiting to get into the restaurant as we were leaving. So, if you can, get there early. But I will say, it would be worth the wait. read more

#vegan options Decided to come to this place while in town for a conference. It is like a highy classy yet casual bar restuarant. There were a lot of people eating here. Grouos, people with kids, all sorts. I came as I found that they had vegan options. We got there and were seated without much of a wait. However after getting settled and starting our order I realized we had no time! We instead made the orders to go and the waitress put a rush on them. She kept checking back and updating us. I felt awful but she did an amazing job and got us out in time, only a little late for my next event. I got the vegan burger. It was so good!!!!! I would have loved to have had it again. Fried were also good. My friend enjoyed the vegan chicken sticks. Would definitely go back for the burger. Can be a place to watch the game as well, with quite a few TVs. read more

We went to Yardhouse for a family dinner after a movie at the mall. The hostess warned us that she may not be able to seat us all together because of how large our party was. I kindly told her that we wanted to be seated together. Less than fifteen minutes later, we were all seated together. We had two servers, one was amazing, the other was more than questionable. It didn't seem like she was interested in working that day. I vividly remember her tossing a plate of lemons on the table. The other one was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel at home. They took our drink orders and asked if we were interested in appetizers. A few of us ordered beers, three of the selections that we requested were out. That was a tad bit disappointing, but it was the nice server that gave us this news. The food we ordered had mixed reviews at the table. The spicy jambalaya with pasta was not spicy, but spiced well. Wow. This place is slick. It has only been open a few weeks, but the service is very fast and polished. The food can be described as upscale bar fare and there's nothing wrong with that at all. They have dozens of beers on top, but unfortunately I was here for a weekday lunch so I was unable to partake. My buddy had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich-again mediocre. I am partial to the the actual hot chicken from the south.
