Absolutely love this place. Vibes are always relaxed & chill, but gives a sense of more upscale than other bars/pubs/restaurants in the similar category. Food is delicious, and bartenders are always very nice. The only bone I have to pick with yard house is that they got rid of my favorite appetizer!!!! I used to get the same thing every time (a teriyaki beef over rice app), and they got rid of it over a year ago. Still, they have other great options!!! read more

I've only ever been to a couple Yard House locations in my life, but I can honestly say that today was the absolute best experience I have ever had. My BF and I are on vacation in Florida and had just wrapped up a stressful drive to Orlando from St. Augustine through a crazy thunderstorm (I'm talking torrential downpour here, peeps). We thought it would be awesome to grab lunch and hang out for an hour or so until we were able to check in to a nearby hotel... while also maybe waiting out the storm a bit... but I am SO glad that we decided to stop in. There is a nearby parking structure that I have seen other people reference in their reviews of the place... this visit was my first time and I feel we got very lucky with parking, but I can definitely see that this area would be PACKED when the weather is nice. The walk is pretty short from the parking structure to the main plaza area and there is almost an overload of things to do once you're out of the parking structure. We arrived at Yard House on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 and were quoted a 90 minute wait which turned out to be about 30 minutes, give or take a few. Our waitress, Jaimie, (and apologies if I am misspelling this!!) greeted us almost instantly. I am notorious for taking a long time to choose what I want... whether it is a drink or my main course. She was extremely patient with us and allowed me to take my sweet time ordering. BF ended up getting one of the stouts - a chocolate stout by Rogue - and I settled with a Miller Lite because I feel like choosing a beer with fewer calories is going to get me my dream body LOL... just kidding. We started with the fried calamari and ordered the Mahi Crunchy Salad and Korean Beef Tacos for our main course. The calamari came out quickly and was super fresh tasting; it is served with marinara sauce and what seems to be house made tartar sauce. The dish is actually very large so we were not able to finish everything before our meals arrived. One note on the meals themselves... YUM. He chose some spicy rice to accompany his tacos while I chose a light and refreshing salad. I think that we both thoroughly enjoyed our choices, but I also feel as though the experience with Jaimie made dining at Yard House relaxing and enjoyable. She was amazingly attentive and almost seemed to appear out of nowhere with more water for semi-empty glasses or to ask if we would like another beer. She noticed when napkins or extra utensils/plates might be useful and stopped by to drop them off without either one of us asking for a single thing. We both liked the food and thought it was prepared well, but we also both thought that Jaimie made all the difference. I want to thank her personally in this review for her experience and awesome demeanor. I don't know why I bother going anywhere else in this area. Here I am 5 years later (after my last review) hitting YH again - after trying to make the "other pub" 1/2 mile south that starts with an "M" work- which was a 50/50 roll of the the dice between 1 and 5 stars. The thing I love about the yard house is the consistency. They obviously train their servers to be extra friendly. And it shows no matter which city I am in. Last night was no different. I went to two other places last night, and left without spending any money on food because they simply couldn't get me food in less than an hour. Finally, at YH - I was able to get a drink quick; saw the menu; and got my food within 20 minutes. They are consistent with a great menu of choices; and of course a bunch of beer choices. Plus, the yard house is always big enough to accommodate you. Which is unusual for a chain. Same atmosphere, no matter where you go. read more

Went during afternoon hours. Ordered the sliders and spinach dip as appetizers. The sliders were amazing!! The bread was so soft. Beef was juicy and delicious. Perfection! The fries were very blah. The spinach dip comes with this cracker type bread. It looks like saltine crackers but it's kinda buttery and perfectly compliments the dip. Had the Korean beef tacos in lettuce wraps. Very good and flavorful but a little messy and a little spicy if you're sensitive to that. The messiness was probably my fault due to the lettuce wraps. Tortillas would probably have held together better. The cheesecake was delicious. Not as sweet as you think. Great texture. Definitely try it Our server, Sam, was such a delight! This restaurant was recommended to us. Parking was free if you parked on the 4-5th floor of the parking garage. All of the parking spaces outside of the garage were reserved for valet. We parked in the parking garage and took the elevator down. We walked 2-3 minutes to the restaurant. We were immediately seated. Our waitress quickly came over and took our drink orders. You have the option of ordering and paying from the tablet on the table. Our drinks arrived quickly. Our meal also came out quickly. The fries weren't as hot or fresh as I wanted, but everything else tasted good. My husband was hoping for his salmon to hit the spot like the salmon from Cajun Yard Dog in Charlotte, and unfortunately, it fell short of his expectations. He said the carrots were tasty. The salmon was good, it simply couldn't surpass the other salmon engraved in his memory. The restaurant does provide a military discount. Overall, we had great service and a good meal. read more

The food and service were 10 out of 10. They had lots of vegan options for my sister, and are happy to make modifications to menu items. Our waitress was awesome and suggested that I added dragonfruit and tajin to my margarita, it was so good. I ordered the cali stack and she brought a side of fried wontons to go with it. This used to be my favorite happy hour.....however the portions and ingredients have changed quite a bit recently. The poke nachos are still my all time fave. Calamari was good. The tarter is bomb. The carnivore pizza has changed. The sausages are not the same.....don't seem as fresh and the middle was a little on the soggy side. The most disappointing was the chicken tender app. The fries were soggy and cold and the chicken TENDERS were the size of my pinky finger.....smaller than a wing and mostly 80% breading. Their beer selection was good and we enjoyed a glass, but it was your typical "Buffalo wild wings" selection, and not very much local as we had originally thought. So we got 5 adults and 3 kids. To meat this requirement. Then they put our name on the list and then told us we could do whatever we wanted and they would text us when they were ready. Not really what the purpose of this was. Now to the service and food. We are seated. And half the group does not have silverware. We let the server know. Then we order apps. And still no silverware. Apps come to the table, but still no silverware. We used the tablet to signal our waiter. Nothing happens. He comes to take orders for mains. Still no silverware. He takes the kids order and put them in. And says he would be back to take the adults order and bring the missing silverware. 40min later he comes back. We get silverware. And eat our appetizers and he takes a our orders. The food comes out relatively fast after that. But 3 orders were missing. The group is done eating. And then the 3 missing orders. Show up. One of the orders was partially burnt What was ordered Appetizers Pretzel Bang bang shrimp Both were okay. But because we waited ling for Silverware the cheese for the pretzel was not good. And the shrimp was soggy. Mains Crane asada tacos- meh Jambalaya lacked any flavor Garlic beef this one most of the meat was burnt Burger lacked flavor bun as also stale Adult mac and cheese dry and seemed like it was made and reheated several times. We stopped in for the first time while in town on business. For a Saturday night we were pleased to find that although it was busy, we were seated right away. Our server was great. The atmosphere was very loud, so much so it was almost hard to hear each other at the table - just a lot of noises; we sat between the kitchen and bar which I think added to it. Our go to appetizer at any restaurant is a pretzel and this one was a pretty big disappointment; it seemed too dry, even with the cheese/mustard. There was a huge party behind us when we were seated and we were overlooked initially. However, it was ok because we were still looking over the menu. They have a great selection of small and large appetizers. A super nice server apologized and took our drink orders. She gave us the history on the restaurant and made some suggestions. Our assigned server came back shortly and took our order. We ordered two of the signature bison meatloaf entrée and two kids meals. The appetizer was delicious, but it was warm. Unfortunately, our food came out the same way. The food was good and would have been amazing if it would have been hot. This was a nice sports bar located close to our hotel in a beautiful area. I ordered a cider which was very good. We also had the brownie with ice cream which was very good. My husband and I needed a night out in the middle of the week and decided to head to Yard House. We waited about 15 mins to be seated which pushed us over their happy hour time frame and seated at 6:03. However, the server greeted us and offered happy hour specials. So, I pointed to the time and she said no big deal I'll honor the prices for drinks and appetizers anyways. So I got my favorite Sunset Sangria and we shared the chicken nachos. Little did we realize the chicken nachos could have fed 6+ people by themselves! They were amazing, however had I know the large portion I probably would have stayed clear and chosen something else so we didn't waste food. Definite positive for large groups if you go there and want one appetizer to share. I was disappointed that my favorite enchilada stack was no longer on the new smaller menu due to COVID. So, I decided to try the Braised Short Rib Ravioli. Soooooo yummy! I was warned the sauce was a bit spicy but I found it to be the perfect blend of spice and cream to balance. Covered and baked with cheese on top, and filled with tender short rib, it did not disappoint! My only regret was eating too many nachos before, but the ravioli made for great left overs for lunch the next day.
