The pizza was so good. Thin and packed with delicious condiments in every bite. Eight slices were enough for just me and the crushed peppers were the finishing touch. The tea absent from this picture was as good too. Flavor wise it was what I needed and wanted. The service was so friendly and always making sure we had enough to drink. The waiting time was around 20 minutes on a busy weekend downtown but worth the wait. They had screens all around showing a sport's game. The sitting was comfortable and the noice level very reasonable. Been to this location many times and it is always great. Very consistent food and service. The Oversized booths creates a intimate ambiance, even though it's decently loud. Our server was Jessica... I believe. She was great and provided the perfect service, very attentive and friendly. There were some miscommunications but mostly my fault. Food was as good as always. The Caesar salad is one of the best that I've had at a corporate restaurant, and came out in less than 5 minutes per usual. My partner ordered the spicy jambalaya. It was flavorful, and a very large portion, appropriate for the price. I had my go to turkey club, good as always. We also ordered the onion rings which were good, but there were better options. Hubby and I visited Yard House on Father's Day 2024 after taking in the sights of the Riverwalk. For starters, we had the Wisconsin cheese curds. Sorry Wisconsin, these were better than any cheese curds I've had and darnit, I'll have these again someday. So good! He had the salmon grilled perfectly with roasted carrots and broccoli. He said the salmon and broccoli was tasty but the carrots needed to be cooked a little more. They were a little raw for his taste. I had the grilled pork chops in a Thai sauce with some kind of roasted vegetable hash. Delicious! For dessert we had the light and fluffy bread pudding. It tasted freshly made with a some kind of white chocolate whiskey sauce maybe and a fat scoop of ice cream. Delectable! Our waiter Alex (from Florida) was amazing! He gave us great recommendations and was knowledgeable of the menu! As far as ambiance goes it appears to be standard for Yard House. Minimalist, tasteful for an upscale sports bar. Chicken Nachos from the appetizer list is pretty big. If you wanted to make that as your meal, you definitely can but honestly it was comfortably big for the three of us as an actual appetizer. My picture cant do it justice. I ended up having the Poke Bowl and it was actually pretty good. The presentation of the food was great! So good that I ended up eating it right when it arrived before I even got a photo of it. We go to Yard House in Austin all the time and love it. The food was great here as well. But two major red flags at this location. 1. We put our name and waited for 15 mins. We were monitoring our place on the mobile queue so when our number came, I could see people behind the front counter say my husband's names a few times while deciding among themselves which table to give us. I could see one of them telling the other "not this, not this" and finally we got the lamest table all the way at the end of the restaurant, near wait staff station. Kind of weird. 2. The restaurant manager Javier brought one of our dishes and handed it over with zero interaction with us. He just stood there for some time looking at us. And then pulled a chair and sat next to my husband for a good 20 mins. Looking into the void. He was shaking for some reason and looked like he was either about to cry or was going through something major in his head. Rest of the food kept coming, the other wait staff was great, friendly and this guy just sat there. Made us feel extremely awkward. We had three kids with us and they were pretty weirded out as well. Finally I gathered my courage. And started talking to him. In my kindest voice I asked if he was ok, should we call the doctor, does he need water etc. He was disturbed but kept saying that he's fine. Our waitress also asked him if he was ok and he said he was. Finally after 20 mins, he just got up and left. Again, the food was good but we left super weirded out. I had a great time stopping by this yard house location for a quick bite and beer. As expected for a Friday night it was pretty loud and the bar was packed but it didn't take long for me to get seated for my party of 1. My server was awesome and he did great even after sharing it was his 3rd day on the job. He was attentive and made sure I was taken care of. To no surprise the gardein wings were amazing, that whiskey black pepper flavor is everything! The side salad was simple by made well and the beer selection can't be beat! Upscale pretentious people venue at La Cantera, but to be fair, the food and furnishings are good. Go here for a date night but before it gets crowded. They brag about having the largest selection of beer taps but it's mostly mass produced and the variety in quality draft beer is lacking. A beer snob is writing this, so take it at face value. Their best beer is the buried hatchet stout in my opinion. If you want a true variety in beer, go to the Flying Saucer - And there's no pretentious peeps there! I recommend the Mac n cheese n bacon, and crab cakes if they still offer them. read more

Our server was Dillon and was quick with our drinks and food and very helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. My husband had the fried hot Chicken sandwich and I had a mix of three tacos (fish,shrimp, korean bbq) the only one I enjoyed was the korean bbq. I also had the Malibu Peach Martini and it was delicious. Husband tried the Ranger Creek beer and said it was good. Food was good but drinks were better and attention was on point. Very disappointed with our experience here at the Yard House. Our server was all over it one minute then she would disappear and you wouldn't see her again for ages. I ordered a second beer half way through my meal and didn't receive it until about 5 minutes after I finished my meal. As for the food, our cheese curds appetizer was probably the highlight of the meal. My wife has a Caesar Kale salad with Chicken and the Chicken Tortilla Soup. The chicken was very salty and the soup came out barely warm. I ordered the fish and chips and the fish had been fried so long I honestly thought when they put it down in front of me I was being pranked. It was almost the color of a brownie, but no it wasn't a prank! The fish was a thick filet so thankfully once I touched the batter and it exploded into 10,000 pieces the fish inside was still somewhat edible. When it came to paying our bill we used the machine on the end of the table but it turned out to be out of receipt paper. We were traveling on business so had to have a receipt for expense purposes. We ended up having to wait about 10 minutes for our server to appear and tell her what we needed. She disappeared for 10 minutes then came back with the wrong receipt. It took another 5 minutes for her to return with the correct receipt. If you are coming here for classic rock. Unless you consider Ah Ha - Take on me and other similar 90's pop Classic Rock then you are probably going to be disappointed. read more

Food was okay but the drinks were much better, the services was really good and great place to sit and talk to your date or watch a game... Went straight to the bar and ordered a few beers and the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak. This was perfectly made. The meat was tender and tasty, perfect amount of cheese and the bread wasn't hard. We had a 15 or so minute wait once we arrived. The menu was awesome and had so many things I wanted to try. I asked the waiter for recommendations. I really wish I would have gotten his name because he was spot on and very sweet. My friend and I split the poke nachos and the lobster noodles. They were both perfect! I could not believe how much lobster (and shrimp and crab) was in it! For $24 dollars it was a lot!! We were so impressed! Unfortunately, though the staff was nice, on a hot night when you're hungry, this isn't the best place to satisfy the hunger. They had a 2 hour wait at our intended restaurant so ended up at Yard House. Had fish tacos with rice and beans. Tacos were good, as were the beans. The rice looked like it had been cooked in a jello mold, which may look nice, but makes it hard on the outside - not something I like, it was also a little bland. We were a party of 6 and ordered our food at 12:30, along with other tables that arrived at the same time from a convention at the Henry b. Gonzalez center. The other tables, a party of 6 and 11 had their food AND paid out before we even got our food. I asked a server if he could get the manager and they never came, so I went to the host stand. She went back to get her, but when she came back said the manager said she was too busy to speak with us. Our food came at 1:20 (a 50 minute ticket time!) and so did the manager Megan. She proceeded to tell us it was our fault our ticket time was long because of what we ordered. Moral of the story, even if you have an hour and a half lunch - don't assume that's enough time. read more

It was our first time, therefore we didn't know how to pay and the waiter after us sitting there for at least 10-15 minutes asked if we needed to split the bill. Ask for a side of normal cheese sauce. Hey chef, sometimes you don't need to make something gourmet.Stick with what works. I came here twice during this conference, once for drinks and once for lunch. Both times the waitresses were great. Unfortunately when my friend got her hummus for lunch, the food server had her thumb in the hummus. It was disgusting, but I think that's just a training issue. Also the "sliders" were just a regular burger cut in quarters, which is kind of a cheat. Overall, good food and atmosphere. My burger was a bit over cooked and our server took a little while in the end to wrap everything up but not a bad experience at all.
