The Yard House has yet to disappoint! It could be Waikiki, Las Vegas, Scottsdale, Temecula or just outside Fenway Park. I get it, its a big chain with 50 restaurants, but they are still doing it well. I left CPK 144 units and at that time they still were doing that right. I love the stainless bar and the great selection of beers, but its the happy hours that bring me back, that and the expert service. The entire menu is awesome from the Maui Pineapple chicken to the $40 surf and turf rib eye shrimp combo, but when they offer apps and Pizza half off what's not to love. Had to give 4 stars this time when we went this past Friday evening. My husband always orders the boneless wings and for some reason they were overcooked twice this time which made them inedible. I tried the grilled Korean bbq beef appetizer and I ALWAYS have to get the spicy edamame when we're there. It's never too spicy. And the Korean beef had such a great charred taste and was so tender and juicy! I highly recommend it! My husband and I were at the Yard House in Temecula last night. We've were going there for years and after COVID we rediscovered the Yard house in Temecula and oh boy! I can say without a doubt this is one of the few restaurants that has always been consistently good and is now even better than ever. I love their food, the staff, all are so nice and efficient, the orders come out quickly even when the place is busy. The Yard House is always clean and inviting, the food is always so yummy. I'm a very good cook but I can't get my burgers to taste like the Yard House burgers. I LOVE their cheeseburgers. I know that's an entree for almost every burger place or every restaurant but their burgers are always amazing, Whatever their secret is I don't know but they are the best ever! If I had to pick something that would make the whole experience a bit better it would be the loud music, it's a wee bit loud, especially on the weekends. But that's a minor thing and I hope they continue to succeed because it's one of the few places that is always great!! I love meeting friends here for appetizers and drinks. The wait staff is always really friendly. The hostess staff can be hit or miss. Some of the employees are very friendly. Some of the others make you feel like entering the front doors ruined their "me time". The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Pick up the game or sit on the patio. The one issue is that it is impossible to get a cell phone signal in the restaurant. I don't know if they do that or n purpose or not, but the minute I step outside the restaurant- my signal returns. One of my friends and I ate here tonight and I just wanted to come on Yelp and write a good review about our waitress Alexyss. She really went above and beyond and I felt like she needed to be recognized. One of the things she did was bring me a couple samples of different ciders to try when she realized they were out of the one I had ordered which I greatly appreciated. Going back to when she first came to introduce herself she asked if we were celebrating anything; we had told her I had just gotten a new job and we were celebrating that. She eventually had to go on her dinner break while we were dining but to our surprise when we had asked for the check the waiter that was covering for her brought us out a dessert we hadn't ordered. He said it was from Alexyss and she made it a point to tell them to bring it out for us. It was a little dessert and the plate had "Congratulations" written on it. DO NOT BOTHER TO CHECK-IN ON-LINE First I would like to start with, I decided to dine here tonight due to a gift card given to me from work. Cool on-line check-in tool that DOES NOT work. Checked in at 7:10 pm, said 35 - 45 min wait and to let them know when you arrive. Let them know I arrived at 7:27 pm, link was sent and it did nothing for me. Gave no "spot in line" info. After my 40 minute wait time, asked what my place in line was, he said maybe another 20 minutes. Finally the link said I was 17TH IN LINE WTF!!!! I've only ever been to Yard House in Irvine for appetizers so I was so happy to enjoy a real meal here. On this 90-100 deg F day, we came for a late lunch and due to COVID, all seating was outside. But thankfully the patio is shaded and they have misters going non-stop. Servers were friendly and wore masks. We were served our option of drink and they brought new glasses of ice cold water when we needed it. They also provided lots of limes and lemons when we asked for them for out water. We ordered: Poke nachos: such good ahi on crisp light fried wonton crisps. Watch out for the chilies! They are Serrano's not jalapenos. My mistake and my mouth was on fire! Flavor is well done on this appetizer that we enjoyed as an entree Kale Caesar with shrimp or salmon: kale, romaine, raisins, pistachios, Brussels sprouts, house made Caesar. This was so balanced in terms of sauce amount, texture, and flavors. The house made dressing was different than typical Caesar but really good. I added shrimp and it came with 4 or 5 plump perfectly grilled and seasoned and juicy pieces. House blonde: light easy to drink refreshing beer. Good price. Lots of American entrees to choose from. Good beer selection. Variety of cocktails including new seltzer based cocktails for the skinny cocktail crowd. Had a horrible experience! I came out to a yard house with a group of friends to eat some dinner . As we sat at the table a friend of mine stated how she had enjoyed her drinks earlier from the winery. As the waiter approached he said he "overheard" our conversation and does not serve drunk customers . Mind you none of us had ordered a drink from yard house , no one was drunk, etc . We were there simply for food . We told the waiter we were not here for drinks, but we simply here for food and that no one was intoxicated so we were confused off of his comment. He then walked off and stated that he was going to talk to his manager . When he came back rather quickly, he said yeah my manager said I don't have to serve you. At that point we asked to speak to a manager in which a lady came over and we explained to her what was happening. She stated that she's never heard of a rule where the waiter wasn't allowed to serve us off of a simple conversation, and also due to the fact that no one was drinking at the table. The manager said she will come back and never returned. At that point , the waiter came back over to the table. We asked him if we could speak to the manager because we never heard back from. He said "well that's if she wants to talk to you"' In a rude tone . We told him that the manager that we were speaking to said that she would come right back and we would simply wait for her. He then stated " I'm not gonna argue with y'all, and walked away". At that point, we were so bothered that I walked over to the host and I told them the situation and I told them we were ready to close out our food tab with another person. They nicely listen to the situation and told me that they would get the manager. A man then approached our table and told us that he was the manager. At this point different people were just being sent over to our table. We explained again to him the situation and he said well "I'm sorry if you guys feel that way" . He said what he could do for us is pay for the food. For me it wasn't about food being paid for it was about the simple fact of the waiter being totally disrespectful and rude and there was no consequence. Even after I pulled up the Yard House policy which states only reason someone shouldn't be served if they are visibly intoxicated or no form of identification. Talking about the policy meant absolutely nothing to him. This whole encounter was definitely uncalled for and because of it, I will honestly never go back to this yard house. read more

Today at about 1:30 pm, my family of four went for lunch. The wait was only 20 minutes. Not bad. The restaurant itself was not that full- several open booths and tables. Waited the 20 minutes and were brought to a table that was directly outside the kitchen door- very noisy ext. It was a small table with four seats so we asked for a booth (several were cleaned off and open). Hostess states "you will need to be put back in the wait list for a booth" What? Not only did we have a crappy seat next to the loud kitchen entrance- we got a small table. Even though I said to her "we will not be back here" she didn't care... offered no solution. We let our waitress know we were not happy- she said "I can ask if you can move, but I'm not sure because I don't have anything to do with seating" no costumer service, no problem solving skills. My mind set is: I work my ass off all week - getting ready to drop a 200-250$ bill and I can't get a different table in a more than half empty restaurant??? We ordered two appetizers for four people and four meals ... plates coming off the table edges. Appetizers came out almost the same time as the meals... Food was great!
