Oooh chile! The brussels sprouts, the grits, the fried corn - OMG!! Listen... Oh! Pause!! The fried rice krispies treats Oreos with bourbon ice cream *swoon* I HAVE THE LACTOSE INTOLERANCE!!! Don't do this to me Yardbird!! O)_O) And you have one opening in DC TOO! O_O my god my god...lettuce pray! I mean...I'll be there. O_O and I'm eating all the things because I'm hooked!!! BUT better not nobody judge me when I order an iv of the bourbon ice cream, a plate of those oreos and a lb (with recipes) of all the sides!! Don't hesitate nor judge - just hand it on over and won't nobody get hurt! Y'all started this mess. Oh, I also had the shrimp po boy, which was delightful and huge, as well as the nutella beignet which were a bit too doughy for me but I love the warm nutella. Add to that, our server was amazeballs and so was my drink (Southern Peach, I think). I will keep my eye open for the DC Yardbird. I need my own booth so I don't offend folks while smacking my lips! After a terrible timeshare presentation the day before, I just wanted some good Vegas food! Since we stayed at the Venetian, we came downstairs at 10am and lined up before it opened. Once the doors opened, we got seated deep inside the restaurant at a small private table in the back. The atmosphere had dimmed lighting which is perfect for food and conversation. Our sever was so friendly as he recommended items for us. We went with an order of Mac & Cheese which consisted of torchio pasta, five artisan cheeses topped with a crispy herb crust. We wanted a side of fresh farm scrambled eggs and the famous Chicken 'n' Watermelon 'n' Waffles. OH MY was the food delicious. The Mac & Cheese did not make you full to the point where you don't want to eat. The consistency of the cheese was perfect, each bite was creamy in your mouth. The eggs were yum and the fried chicken was so finger licking' good! It was so so good that my mouth is watering just thinking about this place. Definitely recommend this for some good old southern food! read more

Fabulous Thanksgiving Dinner for our adult family. The service was spot on and the food was perfect! Everything from she-crab soup, to shrimp and grits to chicken and waffles to braised short rib. So delicious; several choices for craft beer and a wonderful atmosphere for a special early dinner. Also, no peanuts in any of the dishes, or in the restaurant at all, so our daughter's peanut allergy was not an issue and she ate her dinner without hesitation! read more

10/10 Stars for the food, atmosphere, but more importantly THE SERVICE! Starting from "Hello" at the hostess stand, it definitely set the tone for an amazing dining experience. Once seated we were pleasantly greeted by the most amazing server KALI! Kali's food and drink recommendations were spot on. We ordered what she recommended, For drinks we had the Watermelon Sling and the Tequila Old Fashion..both drinks surpassed our expectations for craft cocktails. We ended up having two rounds of drinks, as well as a tequila shots. Kali's lunch recommendation was the Chicken and Waffles, as well as the brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. Again 10/10 ! The food is so amazing and adequately portioned. You definitely get what you pay for in taste, presentation and quality. We finished our meal with the Strawberry peach cobbler. I'm from the South and I take southern deserts very seriously...THIS WAS AMAZING! All in all Yardbird is definitely going on my favorites list. The YardBird in Vegas is soo lucky to have Kali as an ambassador! Her service, helpful recommendations, and energy has made me a fan of this restaurant. read more

I have seen this place pop up many times when I search for dinner in Vegas but totally had to go to this place after I found it on this tv special saying how it is one of the best places in Miami. And seeing the dishes on tv, had to try. You can make reservations through open table which I highly recommend so you do not have to wait as it is a pretty busy place. We went for brunch on sunday. Of course we had to try the chicken and waffles and also got the fried green tomatoes and skillet cornbread. Skillet cornbread was not on the brunch menu but we asked the waiter and he said it would not be a problem. Yes the chicken and waffles is $36 but it is huge, you get a lot of chicken and wow it was probably the best friend chicken we have had. And the waffle had a cheddar inside and was crisp. The bite with chicken, waffle, syrup, hot sauce, and watermelon was perfection. The syrup was this bourbon honey and the hot sauce was just the right amount of heat. The fried green tomatoes was a nice treat, the combination of the sauce and tomatoes were delightful. The cornbread was very good, it was a pretty good portion and if you do have the syrup, definitely try some of that stuff on top of the cornbread!! Overall fantastic meal, would definitely come again. The drinks looked amazing too so think it would be a fun place to go for happy hour. read more

5+ Stars if I could. This is our new go to date night spot. The fried chicken is amazing!!! We love the corn bread, fried green tomato blt, Mac N Cheese, and street corn. We were so excited to go back once the casinos reopened we made reservations right away. I was happy that they abided by social distancing regulations so well. We were extremely disappointed that the Reeses peanut butter ice cream pie dessert was not on the menu. The manager came to our table to apologize but would've been better had he said hey here's a free one (when he put it back on) on us next time. That way they get us to come back right? And if we don't they don't lose anything. Either way we love that place and will definitely be back. Next time we will probably go for brunch and get the cinnamon roll with our meal. Side Note: The Blood Mary is the best BM I've ever had. read more

I'll keep it short and sweet. The food was amazing. The drinks so bomb. The service was ok nothing above a typical restaurant. The two down sides the add 18% gratuity period and we where a party of 3 wtf! I didn't see that on the menus nor was I told that before I sat down. If you don't have a reservation you will not be seated at a table you will be seated in the lounge. Basically couches and chairs with coffee table. They didn't care that one of the people had a stroke and was hard for her to eat and get up and down from that chair. read more

Great food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles. I found one plate was enough for two conscientious eaters. Service was excellent. My complaint is the packed seating which left it impossible for conversation until you included the tables to your right and left. Be sure to asked for couch seating or a 4-top if you have a party of two. read more

It's pretty common to go to Vegas with a large group. I had searched around and wanted to do a group thing here. Originally we were a little turned off by the rules and the fact we had to do a pre fixe. Boy am I glad we did. We got to try everything. My favorite bite was the fried green tomato blt. Every ingredient is so simple but all of them together hit every note for the perfect bite. The chicken was awesome. Probably some of the best I've ever had. Not just the breading but the chicken was just fall off the bone tender and loaded with flavor. The hot sauce only made it better which I didn't think was possible. Shrimp and grits in the richest most buttery grits I've had. The other parts of it could have been better seasoned but it was solid. The biscuit is amazingly tender and flavorful and rich. I couldn't finish mine. At first we thought the price for the pre fixe was a little much but when you consider the vast amount and quality of food it was definitely worth it. Very attentive and professional service too. This place is a must do for your Vegas trip. read more

The food was actually pretty good, but the experience was awful. We arrived for our 5:30 reservation and were told they were "setting up tables" and to wait in the hall. After waiting 10 minutes, we checked with the hostess again and she assured us it would just be a few more minutes and could we please wait outside. So welcoming! We were seated at a cramped 2 top near a table with overflowing people. For the majority of our meal, a man from the other table was practically in our laps. Luckily the food came quick, so we could get out of there as soon as possible. Would not recommend, not worth the $166 ! read more

This establishment is inside the Venetian hotel in Vegas. The food was absolutely amazing and on point!! Everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. The staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure you were satisfied. I will definitely return to this restaurant and highly recommended it. I am still yearning fir the fresh hot biscuits with the house jam...they were so yummy. The shrimp and grits as well as the chicken/ waffles were awesome. You will not be disappointed. Recommended by a friend who's palette i really trust, we went to dinner here. Let me just say, after eating there if I lived in Vegas I'd visit there at least once a month, it was that good. Started our table off with Freid Green Tomatoes with Pork Belly, Skillet Corn Bread and Deviled Eggs. All great choices. Moved on to the Fried Chicken, Short Ribs, Chicken & Waffles and Shrimp & Grits. While each was excellent, that fried chicken was ridiculous. Flavorful and juicy. Very nicely done. read more

This southern food restaurant is located inside the Venetian Casino. It is a casual spot with some great sweet tea and a great chicken sandwich that has a kick to it. The caesar salad was fantastic with bacon and ricotta cheese in it giving it not only unique taste but great texture with each bite. The staff are friendly and service is superb....what else could you ask for. Definitely worth trying! read more

WHAT A JUICY PIECE OF CHICKEN! Wow. Yardbird might have the best fried chicken I've at least ever had. It is some delicious and succulent pieces of meat. Beyond the pleasant and soothing atmosphere, I have to say that my dinner at Yardbird was a true highlight of Las Vegas... and let's face it, there's a LOT to experience in Sin City! To top off our night we had some awesome deep fried Oreos and cookies n cream ice cream and in all honesty, I cannot wait to go to Yardbird again one day. I was shown this place by a Yardbird enthusiast who has been to their Miami location on multiple occasions. We went here on a Thursday night as a celebration for the end of the Trade Show we were in Las Vegas attending. We ordered cocktails, a handful of appetizers, three different entrees and we feasted. We didn't come across a dish we didn't like. Our only regret was not being able to finish all our food. We did get to have a little dessert. So good! It's located inside the Venetian. Reservations are recommended. We arrived 30 minutes early and were seated immediately. Service was amazing. It has a upscale country atmosphere. Pictured are the gluten free chicken and waffles which were AMAZING! (Especially for gluten free) Others at the table got the lemon chicken with mashed potatoes and loved it too. One of the hidden best spots in Vegas. Food and cocktails are great . The staff is attentive . You get a southern Comfort here . I would highly recommend for brunch and or lunch . The flavor of the food is great . I have tried a sandwiches ( BLT ) , chicken and waffles , wings and was not disappointment with any of it . Brandon was our waiter and he was very friendly, patient and took the time in explaining the menu items with us and recommended what he thought was best for our family of 9. This place had THE best chicken and waffles in Vegas. Lawrence was our server and went up and beyond, which enhanced our experience of what to order and eat. His advice was dead on and the watermelon chicken and waffles were amazing and exactly the trademark "yardbird" experience we were looking for. The ribs we're also cooked to perfection falling right off the bone and smoke Infused which enhanced the flavor and taste. Overall it was a great experience. I also have to shout out to Ashley (one of the managers) who enhanced the night with some fried Oreos which finished the night with a nice surprise as the cookies & cream ice cream perfectly complemented the fried Oreos with a rice crispy topping. read more

Service was pretty good! I was really excited to come here and had high expectations for the food to be so bomb but it was pretty average. I had the watermelon sling cocktail which was refreshing. For food, my bf and i ordered the chicken and waffles to share, the portions are huge so you can definitely share this. And we got the biscuits to start, which was pretty good and a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was the one that drove me to write this review. I hated it (lol) if you like thick cheese sauce and hard noodles then order it. But i would not recommend. Overall, the experience was cool, not what its hyped up to be if you love southern food. read more

I cannot say enough about this wonderful restaurant! My kiddo is celiac and I am GF. We had the fried chicken and waffles and they were to die for! We also had the street corn that is GF. Went in with high expecting for lunch on a weekday, was sadly disappointed. Ordered the brisket sandwich it was pretty mediocre. Tried the biscuits too, it was good nothing extraordinary. SOUTHern Hospitality. As depicted numerous times in television and. movies, the south is famous/well known for their gracious manners, friendliness, and hospitality. Though located in Las Vegas, the manners and charm of the South are ever present at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar. NOTES: 1. Reservation made via open table. 2. Located on the first level/casino level of the Venetian Hotel (the popular "Restaurant Row" section of the resort). 3. Seating areas include the bar, lounge area in the front, with more seating available in the rear with views of the kitchen. My mom, brother, and I arrived promptly for our 7pm reservation, and were warmly greeted by the smiling hostesses. We waited for a few minutes before she showed us to a table in the main dining room/area. FOOD: After looking thru the sizable menu, we decided (thanks to a recommendation from our server) to order some dishes to share family style. Altogether we ordered the kale salad (add crispy chicken), and the fried chicken with sides of collard greens and mac and cheese. Firstly, the kale salad is an extremely generous portion. I can't imagine how a single individual would attempt to finish this on their own. This was a great start to our meal, as we portioned the salad between the three of us (effectively satisfying our appetites momentarily). The main entree and sides came out a short time later, and like the salad, we found these portions to be just right for dinner. One MUST order the fried chicken. Please do. Though one mustn't indulge in fried foods often, an exception must be made for the fried chicken at YSTB. Its basically a half portion of their chicken, and its worth the calories. The skin is crisp while the meat is soft and moist. Of the two sides, we favored the mac and cheese. The collard greens was a wee bit salty for our tastes. SERVICE: All the staff we encountered during our visit provided excellent customer service. We especially liked our server as she was friendly, gracious, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. We appreciated her recommendations and patience as we looked thru the menu. She and the other staff checked on our table periodically throughout the meal. She truly made us feel welcome! side NOTE: The honey hot sauce that is served with the fried chicken is quite HOT. Really HOT. Just a forewarning for future diners. BOTTOM LINE: Southern hospitality is top notch at the Las Vegas location of YSTB! The exceptional customer service, as well as the delicious food were definite highlights of this dining experience. Everything was so good!!! Came here for date night. We ordered brisket biscuits as an appetizer, chicken watermelon and waffles as an entree and my boyfriend got the shrimp and grits. Fantastic! I made a reservation here based off of positive Yelp reviews and it didn't disappoint. We were a party of six and sat in back by the kitchen. The service here was perfect as was the food. For starters, we ordered the biscuits with their delicious homemade jam as well as deviled eggs. We all loved our entrees and each meal was huge. The biggest hits were the ribs and chicken, watermelon and waffles, but all entrees were amazing. We also enjoyed sides of mashed potatoes and mac n cheese, which is a must order side. Drinks here were all carefully crafted and quite delicious. It can be quite loud inside, but we didn't mind as we were joking and having a great time. For the quality of good, drinks and service, this place is a steal and I highly recommend it if you are anywhere near the Venetian Hotel. read more

Greatttt place for some southern style food. Definitely try the chicken and waffles. My boyfriend and I shared that and we still couldn't finish it so just an fyi. The maple syrup has a hint of bourbon and I could definitely taste it which was not to my liking but overall the dish was great. Great drinks and food. Great service. Mac and cheese was like 7/10.. All I remember was going through the casino areas of Paris Hotel, and then going down one floor to the Horseshoe area to reach this bar just minutes before closing on a Friday close to midnight. I quickly grabbed a seat at the bar area and perused the menu, which has a ton of drinks, beers, wines, mocktails and even snacks. Even when close to closing time, patrons filled up all the bar seating which isn't a lot; most seating was couches and tables near the knickknacks. I got myself the Bee's Knees, which is cranberry and pineapple juice, apple puree, cinnamon fire syrup and some ginger beer according to their menu just outside the front entrance. I can only describe the taste as a sweetened fruit juice with a ton of fizz from the ginger beer, and the pineapple and apple came out on top for overpowering the drink overall. Some mint leaves and a slice of grapefruit were added in, and the mint leaves made this drink feel more like a special cocktail. This and other mocktails is $13 before tax, so pretty high price especially when considering their other alcoholic drinks are not that much higher than that... I actually still loved my drink, though! It was a nice wrap-up for my last day in Vegas and I'm curious now to look a lot more carefully at the stuff on the walls if I ever come here again!

Pricy, as expected in Vegas, but a nice time for my husband and I in a unique decor. The host out front selected for us a cozy little settee and cocktail table in a lovely room away from the main traffic and activity of the bar. He was brightly cordial and had a fun sense of humor. Jennifer, our magnificently poised and attentive server, gave us helpful descriptions of various cocktails and answered questions about navigating around the cheese allergy. She understood the dilemma that presented and kindly focused on helping us find a cocktail to enjoy. Two cocktails caught my eye so we asked for Jennifer's opinion. She said she loved the presentation of one of these in particular, The No. 5. She said it was the prettiest drink they had and offered a good quantity cocktail with a really fun look. It was a pretty pink concoction served on a silver platter in a Chanel No 5 bottle adorned with a black Vanderpumps branded satin bow. The dreamy pink liquid was to be poured over ice and sipped through a golden straw. The blend of ingredients were perfectly balanced and very tasty. The mint garnish brought a bit of sparkly to the blend. The menu describes like this: "THE NO. 5 10 oz / 34.95 What Do You Wear to Bed? Cognac - Diplomatico Dark Rum - Coconut Rum Elderflower - Pineapple - Lemon - Pear - Angostura" The cocktail was perfectly balanced and no one flavor took over the drink, instead the variety of the ingredients came together as a team to create a delightfully nuanced experience for the taste buds. The decor at Vanderpump was a complicated mix of Victorian ephemera and whimsical art and "antiques". It was a bit vintage bordello meets romance set in an antiques collective inspired bar. The colors were rich burgundy and black with loads of roses and crystal with velvet fabrics festooned with flowers. We gave a four star rating for two reasons, ones completely unrelated to staff, service or quality of cocktails. The cheese saturation in menu selections was a disappointment for us and other lactose challenged folks I'm sure. The second factor did affect the ambiance a lot. When we arrived the music was so fitting for the setting so much that it's hard to give perfect examples of songs played. It had perfectly supported the whole theme. It was a bit bluesy and maybe some soft pop or jazz tunes. It was appropriately background, still fun, but not distracting to the whole experience. For the majority of the remainder our visit, the mood music more resembled a rave than a Parisian timeless multi sensory experience. We found this disappointing as well. In spite of this, Jennifer's care for us was a highlight of the experience. She was even kind enough to suggest she take a photo of us. She even chose a background for us. We definitely made a special memory. Thanks Jennifer.

Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Another person at our table got the Gorgonzola pasta which he absolutely loved. Another friend ordered a cocktail which she said was strong and delicious. There is an outdoor patio that looked really nice. Would love to come back and try another dish and dine al fresco on a beautiful Las Vegas day.

The building kinda blocked them, but we both felt this was an excellent vantage point of the Plaza Fireworks. Standing you could also see some of the fireworks from the strip near Strat. Australian Lobster was amazing! Our service was amazing! This is the best part of Plaza and is a must visit for us every trip to Vegas, regardless if we are staying downtown.

I would like to start by saying I don't usually post Yelp reviews although I do read them Yardbird's food made me want to write this review. Hands down the best food I have EVER had in a restaurant in Las Vegas! I had made a reservation for my anniversary to check this place out because of the good things I had heard form a co-worker. The food was outrageous!! We had 5:30 dinner reservations on a Sunday. We arrived about ten minutes late after having to navigate the parking garage and the hotel but they were still able to honor our reservation. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy with quaint lighting fixtures fashioned from mason jars. The food is Southern style with an elevated twist. We started with drinks and appetizers. I had the Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade that had a nice kick and a sweet and smooth finish that paired amazingly with everything I had ordered and my boyfriend had a beer called Unforgrittable which was a Pale Ale (I am not sure if it was a local brew) that he greatly enjoyed. We ordered several appetizers: Classic Buttermilk Biscuits, Whole Roasted Cauliflower, Deviled Eggs, Fried Green Tomato BLT. The biscuits melt in your mouth (amazingly rich honey butter accompanies it) and for sure the second best biscuit I've ever had in my life (first being in TN this past year) The cauliflower was melt in your mouth as well and extremely flavorful with great texture from the cheese and char from roasting.The deviled eggs are a generous portion (something you'd expect the family to fight over during Thanksgiving) I can't speak for them myself, I don't eat them but my boyfriend was very happy with them. On to the Fried Green Tomato BLT. Words can not describe the flavor explosion that happened in my mouth!!! BEST FRIED GREEN TOMATOES EVER! The tomato is roughly 1/2" thick coated in an in-house-made panko style breadcrumb and fried to perfection that is then topped with made-in-house pimento cheese and a generous slab of smoked and cured in-house pork belly (my mouth is still watering thinking about it) frisee and a smoked tomato jam. My boyfriend who was born and raised down South agreed with me that they were the BEST fried green tomatoes he'd ever had as well. On to the main courses: My boyfriend ordered The Great American Burger and I teased him about his order choice until I saw what the burger was made out of. The patties are made of a blend of chuck, short rib and brisket. It is then topped with more of that mouth watering in-house prepared pork belly, American cheese, their "special sauce" and house-made pickles. It also comes with a good sized portion of thick cut french fries. Presentation was beautiful and I have to say it was damn fine looking burger. He also got an order of the house mac n cheese that had pieces of the pork belly in it and a rich creamy cheese sauce topped with breadcrumbs. I ordered the Sweet Tea Braised Short Rib. OH.MY.GOD!!!! It came out nestled on-top mashed potatoes that were so rich and creamy and flavorful, followed by sweet and tender carrots and the crown jewel of the dish the short rib and a brown gravy. I swear I heard angels singing in my head with every bite I took. The rib was so tender it fell apart as you cut into it and melted in your mouth, and I think they use voodoo to make the gravy. I was starting to get really full about half way though my dinner but I couldn't stop eating. I looked at my boyfriend after I had cleaned my plate and confessed that if I could get away with licking the plate I would have. Even though we had eaten to the point of nearly bursting we had to have desert. My boyfriend had the fried Oreos that were coated in a very crunchy batter that kept the cookie crunchy inside (not my thing but he loved them) and I had the best slice of Key Lime Pie I have ever eaten and I've had lots of key lime pie in Florida. My boyfriend didn't believe me until he tried a bite and he was forced to agree with me. The service was stellar from start to finish. We had nearly no wait to be seated and within maybe two minutes of sitting down we were asked if we would like some water as we looked at our menus. In less then five minutes we had our water and our drink order was taken. We perused the menu without feeling rushed and made our selections. Each one of our courses came out timed perfectly and plated artfully. Our server "" checked on us frequently but not so much as to make one feel like we were being rushed out the door. It was as if she knew exactly when to check up on us to make sure our needs were being met in an unobtrusive manner and boxed up all our leftovers neatly labeling everything so it was easier to find later. Now that I've eaten here I think I've been ruined for any other restaurant in town. I'd eat here weekly if my budget would allow it unfortunately that isn't the case. I can say for sure that this restaurant has for sure become my go-to for special occasion dining and for when friends come to visit. read more

I dined at Yardbird Las Vegas last weekend and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service provided by the restaurant manager, Tiffani Paul, and the server, Tracy, during a difficult situation. I have eaten at Yardbird half a dozen times over the last 5 years and have always had an excellent experience. It has quickly become one of my favorite go-to restaurants on the Strip. When planning a big birthday trip to Las Vegas with my family, I chose Yardbird for my birthday dinner. I made reservations a month in advance and had been looking forward to it for some time. Upon arrival, my party and I were greeted warmly and shown to our table. As we placed our drink orders I notified our server, Tracy, that I had pre-purchased a large gift card through a third party that sells gift cards on behalf of Yardbird. Unfortunately, we were told the restaurant was no longer accepting these gift cards. While this was frustrating and concerning, the restaurant manager, Tiffani, was quick to apologize and excused herself to talk with her management and determine what they could do to work through this unusual situation. While we waited, Tiffani went above and beyond by providing us with complimentary champagne and appetizers. After a short time, she came back and said that upon speaking with her management, they determined they would honor the value of my gift card. This was beyond what I was hoping for, and I was surprised and impressed by her offer. The way Tiffani resolved the gift card issue made a huge difference in our overall dining experience and demonstrated her commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. Throughout the evening, Tiffani and our server, Tracy, remained attentive to our needs and checked in on us frequently to ensure we were enjoying our meal. It was clear that they truly cared about providing a positive dining experience for all customers. Yardbird at the Venetian absolutely still lives up to the hype. I had been here years ago on a previous stay and was really hoping it would hold up, and honestly, it exceeded expectations this time around. We went for weekend brunch around 8:00 AM (Saturday/Sunday brunch), and the menu is the perfect size. Not overwhelming, but packed with incredible options! Sweet, savory, breakfast-style, and more lunch-leaning dishes. Basically: decision paralysis in the best way. Because we couldn't narrow it down (no regrets), we ordered: * Yardbird Hashbrowns (crispy, golden perfection) * Iceberg Wedge salad * Bayou Benedict * Skillet Cornbread (warm, buttery, and dangerous) * Jalapeño bacon jam deviled eggs (absolute show-stealer do not skip these) * Iced coffee and hot coffee Every single dish was outstanding. The flavors are bold, comforting, and elevated without being pretentious. Everything tasted fresh, intentional, and very much farm-to-table Southern cuisine done right. We spent about $160 including tip, which may sound high at first glance... but for the amount of food we ordered, it honestly could have fed four people. For Las Vegas brunch pricing, especially at the Venetian, it felt more than fair. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is beautiful. Yardbird has that upscale farmhouse / Southern chic vibe. Warm wood, cozy but polished, and just genuinely inviting. They had great music playing (fun mashups and mixes), which added to the energy without being overpowering. When we arrived, there were plenty of open tables. By the time we left about an hour later? Completely packed, with a line out the door waiting to be seated. That alone tells you everything you need to know. If you're looking for one of the best brunch spots in Las Vegas, especially near the Strip or inside the Venetian Hotel, Yardbird is a must. I'll absolutely be back, there's still so much on the menu I want to try. Not to mention we made friends with everyone sitting around us to see what we all were eating and give recommendations. OMG Terrific Food and Service Yardbird was a delightful experience from the moment we walked in the door to the moment you departed. The hostesses were warm and welcoming. The table setting was clean, homey and pleasing. The food was outstanding and it was the first spot we hit after checking in to our suite. Tracy aka "Hatch" greeted the table warmly and energetically. He knows food and when we asked for recommendations or shared what we were thinking of ordering Tracy really sells it. His descriptions of the dish are mouth-watering and he details the elements of how the flavor/ spices marry each other to create a symphony of lusciousness and hit all the tastebuds. "Hatch's" personality made us feel at home and was heartwarming. His knowledge of the southern cuisine and wine is tremendous. Steve, the manager takes the time to welcome and check on the restaurant guests making you feel important. It was my husband's birthday and Steve and "Hatch" made it very special. I ordered the baby back ribs and they were over the moon tender, delicious and melted into my mouth. My husband had the short rib; his all time favorite and it exceeded his expectations. The Peach cobbler is to die for and you can taste the love and dedication baked inside. We left blissful because of the wonderful meal and outstanding service. As a matter of fact, we were so impressed with the food and service that we took two of our friends who are residents of Vegas to Yardbird for dinner later in the week and they too, were impressed and grateful for the experience. The Fried Green Tomato BLT was next, and it was a crispy, tangy delight that had me questioning all my previous sandwich choices. For the main course, I went with the classic Lewellyn's Fine Fried Chicken. After reading positive reviews, I booked a last-minute reservation for two on a Sunday night. The seating options are varied, catering to different preferences, with community tables, comfortable sofa seating, and classic booths. Our friendly waiter arrived shortly after we were seated. Having browsed the placed online, I knew what I wanted to try. The Lobster Mac & Cheese, priced at market value ($88 on this visit), was undeniably expensive. While it felt like a splurge, the online photos were too tempting to resist. We also opted for the Shrimp & Grits. The wait time for our food was around 30 minutes. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was exceptional - perfectly cooked pasta, fresh lobster with easy-to-remove meat, and a luxurious cheese sauce that was flavorful without being overpowering. The Shrimp & Grits was a delightful surprise. Five jumbo shrimp sat atop creamy grits, complemented by a tangy tomato-ham topping. The rich gravy tied all the elements together, creating a perfect harmony of flavors in every bite. We actually preferred the Shrimp & Grits to the Lobster Mac & Cheese; it has more flavor and a better value. We were thoroughly impressed and found out they have another location in Los Angeles. I've been dying to try this place for ages! It's situated right in the Venetian Hotel. I've heard the wait can be quite long, but thankfully, you can always take a stroll around the mall while you wait. My girlfriends and I had dinner here, and I must say, the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. The fried chicken was absolutely amazing! The skin was so crispy, and it wasn't dry at all. The mac and cheese were good too, nothing too fancy, but still really solid. The crispy Brussels sprouts were incredible! They were so crispy and had a delicious honey glaze. Just thinking about them makes me want more! The buttermilk biscuits were heavenly! They were so thick and fluffy, and the honey butter and jam just made them even more delightful. The mashed potatoes were tasty, nothing too extraordinary, but still really good. My friends ordered the sweet tea-braised short rib (he enjoyed it), and the chicken and waffles (she loved it). We also had a few drinks. I can't quite recall the names, but they were fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable. The bathroom had two stalls, and it was incredibly clean. We visited Yardbird on a Wednesday evening without a reservation and were pleasantly greeted by a friendly hostess. Despite being walk-ins, we were seated within 10 minutes as the restaurant was not particularly busy. I ordered their signature fried chicken, which unfortunately did not meet expectations. The chicken was dry, lacked crispiness, and felt overpriced for the quality. I chose the mashed potatoes as my side, but they were extremely thick and dry--so dense, in fact, that even the melted butter didn't improve the texture. They remained completely intact when the dish was tilted. We also tried the bourbon-glazed short rib. While it was tender and had decent flavor, it wasn't particularly memorable, especially considering the $45 price point. The complimentary rolls, which are often highlighted as a must-try, were hard and dense. The accompanying jam was overly thick and difficult to spread using the small butter knife provided--no spoons were available at the table. Overall, the experience felt heavily overhyped. The food was underwhelming and didn't justify the high price. With just iced water as our beverage, the total bill came to $145--and an automatic gratuity was already included. While the service was courteous and the atmosphere inviting, the food quality and value left much to be desired. read more

Our dining experience began with a warm welcome; we were greeted twice by a charming young lady, possibly the hostess, who was truly delightful. Our waiter, while enthusiastically describing the entire menu, became somewhat overwhelming, causing me to lose interest at one point. However, the young woman refilling our water was consistently pleasant and attentive. We ordered the crème brûlée waffle, the "Excited Two Eggs with Cheese," the chicken and waffles, and the crab mac and cheese. We also ordered a coffee with cream and a regular coffee. Let me just say, this restaurant is exceptionally pricey; our total bill came to $249, which included an automatically added 18% gratuity--a surprise addition we weren't consulted about. Regarding the food: the crab mac and cheese was incredibly delicious, though its $70 price tag felt excessive. The crème brûlée waffle, while very sweet and authentically prepared, was worth the cost. However, the "Excited Two Eggs with Cheese" proved to be a shockingly expensive choice at $12--essentially $6 per egg! I could have bought two dozen eggs at home for that price. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and waffles, but personally, I'm unlikely to return unless someone else treats me. We dined here late on a Monday evening and I was really happy about the fact the Venetian Hotel offers free parking. If you haven't been their before, I would recommend asking a security guard and they'll point you in the right direction. We arrived fairly early for my 9pm reservation but they already had the table setup waiting for us. We sat down and began to have a look over their menu. We went with two servings of their Fried Chicken, some Mac and cheese and their buttermilk biscuits. Everything arrived in good time and was presented extremely well. The chicken was incredibly tender and the breadcrumbs were seasoned beautifully. I really enjoyed the subtle heat mixed with the brown sugar I could taste. The Mac and cheese was excellent too. For Mac and cheese it felt extremely light and was a great accompaniment to the heavier fried chicken. The biscuits were still moist and were made even better by the Honey Butter and Apple Jam that they come with. We asked for the check and before we received it, our waiter came out with a slice of red velvet cake with the words "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate sauce next to it. I was taken back by the generosity of Yardbird in this instance and remain grateful. Come here, you won't regret it. read more
