I recently was a customer at yardbird this past Sunday to meet with some family in town. The restaurant ambience is upscale but not intimidating at all, it was entirely beautiful. I honestly did not think I was gonna love their food as much as I did because I'm not keen on this style of American food. Our server recommended their chicken that's pressure cooked for hours before they fry it. I can absolutely tell that it was good quality chicken. As someone who cooks chicken regularly, I see the thoroughness in their delivery. My mother and I also split the crème brûlée pancakes, pure divinity. Although the food was delicious, what filled me with delight was the service. As someone who has been a server on the strip for sometime, it's so refreshing to see genuine hospitality unfold the way it did. The expected level of restaurant unfortunately does not guarantee quality service. Just because a restaurant is fine dining does not mean the server is fine dining material. This was not the case with our server. She was prompt, kind, and exceeded our expectations. She smiled while providing immediate and impeccable service. I hope you're blessed. We'll be back. Absolutely loved this place! It is on the more pricy side but in my opinion totally worth it. The ambience was clean chic country themed. And our server gave us fantastic recommendations. We started off with their biscuits. Then I got the bourbon braised short rib and my husband got the chicken and waffles. Let me tell you, down to the last bite of EVERYTHING there was clear love put into every dish with the amount of amazing flavor. I thought I died and gone to heaven. Some of THE BEST short rib I've ever had. The bourbon maple syrup that went with the waffles and the honey hot sauce that went with the fried chicken were absolute chefs kiss. The fried chicken was crispy but also so juicy. the waffles were fluffy, fresh and had a great kick with the fresh sharp cheddar that was added to it. 10 out of 10 will be coming back here.
Popped by yardbird prior to seeing backstreet boys. Holy, so glad we chose Yardbird There wasn't a seat immediately but was seated within ten minutes. Ordered a wine and a fat washed old fashioned, pretty standard Food though was fantastic. Ordered the fried green tomatoes with bacon, as well as the chicken (1/2) and waffle Food came pretty quickly which we appreciated Tomatoes were great, not too heavy after frying. Chicken was teriffic and waffles were crispy where they should be. The dish was enough for 2 people Highly recommend
If you are curious if the fried chicken here delicious, answer is yes! Came here on a Saturday and it was packed so be sure to make reservations in advance or you will be waiting for a couple hours during dinner rush. We've also got the skillet cornbread and the devils eggs to start, both are also delicious. Fried chicken is the main star, it was crispy, juicy and well seasoned. The waffles that paired with it were also tasty. If you are looking for a good spot to enjoy some delicious food, then check this place out. We look forward to our next visit.
I really enjoyed everything I tried here! From the fried chicken and creamy mashed potatoes to the jalapeño cheese cornbread--everything was delicious. The service was also great. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and checked on us a couple of times throughout our visit. My only suggestion would be the layout. It can be a little difficult getting in and out, and I wish there were a designated waiting area for guests before being seated. Overall, definitely check this place out if you're a fan of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and cornbread!
Yardbird is conveniently located in the Venetian and offers a comfortable atmosphere, open kitchen and good food. My party and I stopped here for a late lunch and it was the perfect place for sharing the large portioned dishes. While there were a lot of good choices on the menu we had to go with the jambalaya and chicken & waffles. To balance it out we also got the short ribs and mashed potatoes. The chicken and waffles were delicious, definitely that southern comfort food and the jambalaya was a little creamy for me but otherwise good. The short ribs were also some of the better ones I've had. As I mentioned these plates are pretty huge and the prices were pretty on-par for the size and strip pricing. Other than the food our waitress was the nicest and really added to our experience. We went away fueled up for the rest of the night with some leftovers to eat the next day!
Bless their heart ...this southern inspired breakfast experience has potential but I don't know if I would come back for the food, and if I did, I would t reorder any of the dishes I tried today. The cinnamon roll was just too much - too big, too crispy on the outside (almost stale like), too much frosting... The deviled eggs - too much, again. Had to eat w knife and fork ... the "filling" was towering the egg and fresh dill was overpowering. The watermelon juice was very acidic, too much lime. I enjoyed the Holy Trinity Hash - serving size was way more than I could handle. I loved the short rib but felt the dirty rice had too much ground meat! Awesome interior - had some light, beachy Kenny Chesney in the background and soothing dim lighting.
Huge lines for a reason. The shrimp and grits were outstanding. The waffle-style hash browns were crispy, unique, and even gluten-free. The staff was even more impressive than the food. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and took allergies seriously, making sure guests had a great experience. The restaurant was spotless, with modern restrooms and a fun, stylish atmosphere. Definitely worth the wait.
Third time in, and it's equally as good as the first! I ordered the Chicken Sandwich (it was one of their burgers of the world comp? Something like that) and it was very good! Chicken was moist, not textured and the flavor was good. Should note, the chicken and waffles is a must try! Everything from the atmosphere, food, down to the service is also on point. All in all: Great food, ambience and service. Definitely recommend!
3 stars for the fried chicken, 5 stars for the waffle and service... 4 stars overall. During the 4 years since my last visit, I have had (too) many fried chickens that had probably jaded my palate. Yardbird's fried chicken now tastes rather dry and tough, but thanks to the provided house hot sauce (which tastes a bit sour like Tabasco), it's quite Ok -- especially when eaten together with the buttery soft waffle, MM mm. The watermelon cubes are a refreshing palate cleanser. Very friendly bar staff. Next time will probably get one of the Lunch Specials, a better deal than the $45 chicken waffle. My bar neighbor ordered a 'Chefs choice tower' lunch special that looked amazing. 18% automatic gratuity added to all checks. OK by me.
Love the vibe of Yardbird, its so country and fun. There's big open windows/walls inside so you can see inside the casino hotel area. There's so much space in there, and also has a bar with additional seating. Lots of space for big groups too, which is a plus. It was very crowded with so many people having a good time with their drinks and food. Our server was good, we didn't see her very much though but when she did help us she was very nice. We only ordered a couple of items because we were sharing. The chicken and waffles were so yummy, the chicken was crispy and juicy and the waffles were crunchy outside and soft inside. I was not a fan of the bourbon syrup on the table, the bourbon flavor was strong! I probably could have asked for plain but the waffles really didn't even need anything added. The burnt ends were not my fav, the sauce was on the sweeter side. My guy really liked those. Excellent spot for great food and probably drinks - we didn't order any but we saw all the drinks everyone was having and the bloody marys looked so good! Our server told us there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to all checks/party sizes, I don't like that at all, I rather have the option but if that's how the industry is doing things, we will go with it!
A very unique taste profile here if you're not from the south I suppose. Delicious comfort food for sure. Really enjoyed it and the staff were fantastic and attentive even though they were busy.
We were in Vegas and decided to go to Yardbird for dinner. We have been there several times and the Miami location as well. We have always enjoyed our experience. This time was very disappointing. The deviled eggs were previously smooth and velvety. This time the deviled eggs were thick and chalky. Very disappointing, especially with how expensive they are. My boyfriend usually loves the chicken. It was not crispy or flavorful as it once was. Also, I didn't expect my short rib to be so sweet. We had okra as a side and that was the best part of the entire meal. We learned the original owners sold the franchise and they are running the restaurant into the ground. I hope they reconsider the changes made. We will never go back. Definitely do not recommend. The waiter is the only reason for the 2 stars.
Everything we tried at Yardbird was absolutely delicious. They have a full bar menu, and a few vegetarian options. We tried the fried green tomatoes, cornbread, grits, hummus and crudité, mama's mash, macaroni and cheese and rigatoni. No complaints, all of us enjoyed our food. Server was very friendly and but slightly slow. I had french toast from the brunch menu and it wasn't overly sweet. They had bourbon syrup which you could tell it was "bourbon" lol very strong for me. Regular syrup is available upon request. read more

Hands down amazing food and cocktails My husband and I were leaving town and wanted to have breakfast before we had a 4 hour drive. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were super attentive and friendly. My cousin and I had espresso martini's that were delicious and the men had a neat pour of Old Forester president choice. Mind you this is at 9am. The bartenders had lots of knowledge with all the bourbon they had, which kept our husbands busy. My cousin had a breakfast burrito and I had the fried chicken sandwich, both had so much flavor! 5/5 Also the water here didn't taste like all the other tap we had at the other bars and restaurants we went to in Vegas! Wouldn't mind coming back again! read more

Only go here when they're crowded or your fried chicken won't be good, actually it'll suck. We went for dinner and they were very busy. Fried chicken was amazing. Maybe the best I ever had. The breading had the most amazing crispiness without being too thick. We went back for brunch and the fried chicken was bad. It obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time, maybe days or weeks. The skin was soft and gross. read more
We had a $65/day bfast credit for our room at the Palazzo, so we decided to use it here. We had no problem meeting the $65 credit. First of all, I ate the salmon avo toast while I waited for the chicken & waffles. The toast was very good w/ lots of fresh avo. However, it was ridiculously overpriced @ $27 w/ only one slice of bread. On the other hand, the chicken was nicely brined, fried and seasoned. The price was high @ $44, but more reasonable considering it fed two people. The bartender was cool & attentive. He made sure there were utensils in the take out bag. Regarding the ambiance, its large here w/ a Western motif. I'd return to share the chicken, but I'm not sure about the other items. The prices are high vs the portions. read more
Oh wow! I didn't remember my local Yardbird tasting like this! Does Vegas elevate their menu?? I has the fried green tomato stack... just to take the edge off before dinner. Wow! Pimento, pork belly, sauce... it all pulled together so nicely! Delish! And my neighbors raved at their foods, as well. The short rib and crispy brussels. A huge short rib. Sweet glaze. Just go already. One of the few yummy spots in Venetian/ Palazzo combo with Vegas dinner quality menu. read more
We came here for breakfast. We were looked after by Nate and Monica was in assistance. The quality of service was by far outstanding. I normally like to get good reviews when we go to places experience food, Service, and ambience. However, we were outstandingly blown away how accommodating Nate was. I got stuck on a car in my coffee got cold and he immediately replaced it. I haven't seen with quality service like this in a long time especially a place like Vegas, which is so busy. I want to highlight the service and post to feed was outstanding great place for families. read more
Got seats the at bar when I got there, servers were nice but seemed overwhelmed maybe, with how busy it was because they only checked in once. I did manage to order one appetizer and drink but didn't get an opportunity to try anything else. Ordered the deviled eggs and they tasted pretty good, lots of dill flavor and tons of egg yolks, but it wrecked my stomach like 20 minutes later. Not sure if they weren't fresh but I would not order it again. It was also freezing at the bar. Other food looked delicious like the chicken and waffles and the popcorn shrimp and I heard the fried green tomatoes are yummy too. Nice convenient location. read more

Another wonderful experience at Yardbird! We ordered the brisket with mashed potatoes, and it was absolutely outstanding. The brisket was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of rich, smoky flavor, while the mashed potatoes were creamy, buttery, and the perfect side. Don't forget to order delicious salad there! A special thank you to Candace for her exceptional service. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She checked on us throughout the meal and made sure everything was perfect. Excellent food, outstanding service, and a great atmosphere. Yardbird continues to impress, and I highly recommend it. The chicken n watermelon n waffles are a MUST TRY here! I would say this is one of the best I've ever had it's SO GOOD. It came with HUGE pieces of chicken. The chicken is perfectly crispy and seasoned, the waffle is soft and crunchy in all the right places, then the watermelon is the icing on top of the cake to top it all off. The Mac n cheese was pretty good, not the best I've ever had but still delicious gooey cheesiness. This was actually enough to feed 2 people so despite the price I would say it's a good value if you're sharing with someone! Definitely add the hot sauce onto the fried chicken for extra yumminess! I've heard thy have really good southern inspired cocktails here too! Service was good, our waiter was nice and attentive to the table, came back to fill our water a few times. It took awhile to get someone's attention to get our check at the end but it did get busier so understandable. Interior is really pretty. Modern elevated warm farmhouse decor. All of the plates/dishes are super cute and fit the theme. Overall, I would come here again! The chicken n watermelon n waffles are to die for! read more
Pretty nice to dine at Yardbird for breakfast/brunch! Amazing selections. We walked in and got a table for 2 recently, and we were seated immediately. We each got a coffee drink, but doubled it- cappuccino for me and a vanilla latte for him. We shared the following- Smoked salmon avocado toast with a poached egg- pretty good! I personally wasn't a fan of the bread itself, but the toppings were all great. Flavors went well together and the smoked salmon was tasty as well. Pretty dish as well. Chicken and Waffles- pretty unique take in terms of ingredients re the waffle in this dish. Fried chicken, sharp cheddar waffle, chili spiced watermelon. Came with the hot honey and bourbon maple syrup. Chicken itself was nicely fried, but I'm more into the dark meat as the white meat pieces were too dry for me. Hot honey to the rescue! Tables / seats were on a bit of a higher side re where we were seated, but nice atmosphere overall. Supposedly I've been here years ago and also tried their beignets and juices. Those were pretty good as well. They auto add 18% and mention you don't need to tip additional. read more
This place is awesome. We had perfect service from start to finish. Our waitress recommended the best cocktail for me and was so attentive and informative. The best thing was the Texas Twinkie. Actually the best thing we tasted on our whole weekend! TRY THESE!! Jalapeño stuffed with short ribs and cheese and a sweet and spicy sauce. The fried chicken is amazing too. Went to Yardbird for breakfast and the service was great. Our server was super nice and really attentive the whole time which made the experience feel welcoming. The inside is really pretty with darker lighting and nice cozy vibes. Portions here are huge. We ordered the All American breakfast and the flapjacks and both plates were massive. The food itself was pretty basic though and nothing really stood out flavor wise. It definitely leans on the heavier side so it felt like a lot for first thing in the morning. We also tried the Green Monster which was actually a really nice start to the morning and felt refreshing. The iced latte unfortunately tasted a little watered down. One thing to note is they automatically add a 12% tip to the bill. read more
We stayed at the Pallazo and this spot was walking distance... we decided to try it and were very pleased . The place was busy on a Saturday morning but we did get seated about 10 min after walking in. Our waiter was really sweet and greeted us immediately. The food was good and fresh. I tried the fried chicken and waffles . My husband has ranchero eggs, he didn't care much for his plate. Some pros were service , food and ambiance. Some cons were they add 18% automatically, they do ask if you want them to remove they will ... but I mean who's gonna say yes ?! Kinda awkward. Also the host ran into the bus boy and they spilled milk all over him ... overall I would return only if I was nearly I wouldn't go out of my way. read more

We decided to try Yardbird at The Venetian for brunch after seeing how busy it was, figured they must be doing something right. We were able to snag a couple of seats at the bar, and despite how packed it was, the service was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the smoked salmon avocado toast, which turned out to be a great choice. It's built on perfectly toasted bread with a generous layer of creamy, ripe avocado, then topped with silky, smoky salmon that adds rich flavor without feeling heavy at all. Balanced, fresh, and really well done. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast sandwich with biscuit, gravy, egg, chicken, and bacon purely because he was ogling the plate of the guy sitting next to him, who convinced him to order it. He definitely enjoyed it, but OMG that thing was huge! We also shared a side of Brussels sprouts, which were excellent. I'll admit, I was hesitant to come here at first because I assumed Southern food might be too heavy for breakfast or brunch, but I was completely mistaken. Yardbird actually offers lighter, easy options alongside the indulgent ones, so there's truly something for everyone. Busy for a reason, great service, and a solid brunch I'd happily come back to. read more
Stopped in for a snack during the CES convention. I tagged along with my daughter. We love this restaurant. Didn't have a lot of time so I had a cold glass of wine and the mashed potatoes and fried okra, both of her childhood favorites. ( I guess adulthood as well since she never lets fried okra pass her by). Delicious!! The server was great and the Las Vegas vibe was strong. She returned to the convention and I entertained the blackjack table. A fun day! read more

OMG!!!! The food here is absolutely amazing. I took hubby here for his birthday brunch and we both were in HOG HEAVEN! Hubby ordered the chicken and waffles and cleaned his plate. I ordered the chicken biscuit with gravy, bacon, egg and cheese and I tried hard to finish it, but it was very filling. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'll return the next time in Vegas because this brunch left a lasting impression on both of us. The bartender that made our initial drinks while we waited for our table was very welcoming and down to earth. Our waitress was also very attentive. I have no complaints. Perfect 5/5! read more
The best fried chicken I've ever eaten, hands down, nowhere else has even come close. Big fluffy waffles. Bourbon maple syrup. Honey hot sauce. Spiced watermelon. Zero complaints about my brunch. The coffee was good and water glasses stayed full. My husband really enjoyed the short rib hash. It was a flavorbomb. Almost stewlike, and very rich . He only had regrets after I let him try some me of my chicken and he wished he wasn't too full to eat more . Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back. read more

My first visit to Yardbird was for a recent getaway brunch/lunch was a good one. This is a casual yet tasty spot in the area between Palazzo and Venetian. Wedge salad with blackened shrimp was a good choice for me-avocado and grape tomatoes were cold and crisp. Their side of bacon is a real deal portion and was crispy. My son got the Fried Chicken, which had great breading that was crunchy and a hot honey drizzle. Everything was enjoyed, and the blackberry bourbon lemonade wasn't bad either. read more

So we had dinner here at the Yardbird located inside the Venetian. I have to tell you it was an outstanding experience everything from the food to the service. Our server was very polite and the great thing was there was always someone else following up behind to see if we needed a drink refill or something like that. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Wow! The chicken had great seasoning was very tender, and the waffles were outstanding. I used a little bit of the maple syrup and I can't quite remember what the other one was that was spicy, but they were both very very good. The wife ordered chicken with the brussels sprouts. We've already told you how wonderful the chicken was. Hers was no different. Extremely tender great breading on it. Now the brussels sprouts that's a different story. These were spectacular. Just the right flavoring and the right amount of char on them. They were out of this world. If you are ever in the Venetian in that little food court area highly recommend the Yardbird. The watermelon was also fantastic. read more

Not my first time to Yard Bird, but my first time at this location. We didn't have a reservation but was able to get a table for 3 pretty quickly which was surprising with how busy it was for Sunday brunch. Service was good. We were checked in on by not only our server but the manager as well. I ordered the half fried chicken($36) and the monkey bread($16). The portions were large and more than enough to share. I did think the chicken was a bit dry. I'm used to soft and moist monkey bread, this monkey bread was definitely dry and overcooked. I don't think it is worth a trip back. read more

Five star all the way. Matter of fact if I could give our server Tracey 10 stars I would! Off the bat, Tracey may be the best server I've ever had! Using his southern charm, I always appreciate when a server doesn't dance around suggestions or opinions and Tracey was VERY proud of the food and preparation of the Yardbird menu offering suggestions from drinks to entrees even going so far as to take a swing and alter the drink on the menu and he was 100% right! Tracey learned that it was my son's 21st birthday and treated us to a champagne toast to start us off. My son his three buddies went all over the map based on Tracey's recommendation. We landed on chicken and waffles, fried chicken, and shrimp and grits! My shrimp and grits were flavorful and generous in portion. To end our meal Tracey brought us a fried Oreo sundae with Oreo ice cream...OMG we did all but lick the bowl! Located in the Venetian Hotel and Casino it's found on restaurant row and advertised as southern comfort food. It has a cool speakeasy saloon vibe that just made for an amazing night. At the End of the Day. Yardbird will go into my short list of MUST have meals in Vegas where trying new restaurants is almost a requirement! An amazing meal and amazing dinner experience that my son still talks about. Truthfully I will probably go back just to visit my new friend Tracey! read more

Let me start this review with we stopped in here for dinner after a concert and were so in love with the food and incredible service, we went back the next day for lunch. Yes..it is costly, but the food is so worth it. We highly recommend the following items if you want 5 star tasting food for dinner or lunch: Brisket dip sandwich ...soooo good we ordered it again for lunch the next day! Shrimp and grits (Ah...mazing!!) Liquor 25 espresso martini Texas Twinkie stuffed jalapeño Burnt ends (a little tough but flavor was great) The watermelon spicy margarita was way too spicy and the beer tomato breakfast drink was also waaayyyy too spicy. Love this place. We don't come to Vegas often, but when we do this is a go to! It's every day food, elevated. We took friends who come to Vegas often and they were impressed and going to make it their go to. From the food, to the drinks and service everything was spot on. The hearty portions and execution of the dishes never disappoint. I think the inside is elevated cozy with plenty of space to get around. Recommend making reservations as it gets busy. read more

Southern food, and LOTS of it, just like in the south! I've always passed by this place but never stopped because there's almost always a line. I was definitely memorable if only because they give you SO much food! It was a little dark but a good vibe! The food was succulent and delicious with, I can't stress it enough, huge portions. Two of us had recent birthdays and they gave us a fried ice cream treat. I can't attest to the taste because I was too stuffed to try any. There were eight of us and there was more food than we could finish. Our waitress was super patient and gave us a good idea of what we were ordering! For sure a must try place if you're thinking about trying it, check it out! 4.25 stars! read more

Loud and lively spot! We ordered the whole bird and shared among 3 people. The bourbon syrup and honey hot sauce were a nice touch in combo with the waffles. The taste of the chicken is only mildly deeper than your average chicken. I'm not completely convinced it is worth. read more

Do they have peanut butter pie? I saw it mentioned in a review, but didn't see it on the menu. Taking my husband here for his birthday, and peanut butter is his absolute favorite!

Do they open on New Year Day & do they take reservation for 4?
Yes they take reservations for 4 and I'd strongly encourage you make them. Not sure about New Year's Day. But I imagine since it's Vegas they are.
Can I eat it if I wait without making a reservation?
Yes, they except walkins or you may order from the bar. Unknown if it is the same menu or smaller bar menu. It is highly recommended to make a reservation if possible, especially depending on the size of your party.
Can I buy a gift card?
Is brunch served only on the weekends or during the week as well? If so what time(s)?
From my experience, brunch is only served on the weekends.
