I stopped by Yeiboh kitchen for a back to school event. I was so excited for this culinary experience, this has been on my list for a while, I have seen a ton of videos on TikTok and Instagram. Yeiboh kitchen offers a unique culinary oasis offering Asian and American dishes. Their goal is to create an unforgettable dining experience. I enjoyed the island wings, with jerk spice, peppers and wasabi ranch. These wings were delicious and they were grilled, they do pack a bit of heat. I also enjoyed the crab and shrimp fried rice with crab legs, I loved the dish and the presentation, the fried rice is a bit on the sweeter side because of the hoisin sauce. I enjoyed the food and service, I'll be returning. Overall the ambiance is amazing, the restaurant is a bit on the smaller side. The parking is limited.
The restaurant was busy which I took as a good sign but it seemed later in the day the restaurant had one waiter/ bar tender for the rest of the restaurant or at least our section. The atmosphere was beautifully decorated and had outdoor patio options. The food wasn't that great outside of the Brussels sprouts and the shrimp tacos. I ordered pan fried fish (snapper I think). The fish was seasoned okay, but there were so many bones I wasn't able to enjoy it. It was accompanied by a parboiled rice pilaf, which fell flat to me. If they would butterfly the fish and add more depth to the seasoning it'd be a substantial difference. Unfortunately, the drinks also fell short and weren't particularly memorable. Overall, the restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and a couple of cool appetizers, but I think there is room for improvement in the execution of some of the entrées and beverages.
Recently revisited this spot for a proper sit down meal. Unfortunately we were seated in a makeshift covered outdoor seating in the back with unleveled seating in conjunction with the low table and extremely dim lighting and bugs. Not the best ambience for a date night. The lobster Mac was so dry and unenjoyable but the lobster tail was tasty! Not sure how I feel about the dinner menu but brunch is great here!
This was a spontaneous visit based on social media videos. The decor alone made the trip worth it. They do not accept reservations, most likely due to their popularity. Although it is air conditioned fans were placed throughout the waiting area. Staff also circulated to take drink orders as we waited to be seated. When our table was ready, our table was nestled in the dining area. No fans were needed there. Playing off the food was beautiful. Our party enjoyed their selections. Our dress was casual though many tables came ready celebrate birthdays and such.
Mr. E and I are on a mission to support more Black owned businesses, and started the new year out by enjoying brunch at Yeiboh Kitchen in Baltimore, MD. It was a gorgeous day, the first Sunday in January, 2026. We arrived at 11:00 am, when they open, because we wanted to make sure to be ahead of the well documented Sunday brunch crowd. Yeiboh Kitchen does not take reservations (although they do reserve for special parties/events). Yeiboh Kitchen has an intimate outside patio dining area in front for that alfresco experience. When we entered, we were greeted warmly, and waited in comfy chairs for about 10 minutes in the cozy foyer complete with fireplace, before being seated. There was a mix of smooth R&B and mellow Hip Hop flowing on the PA system - and then the DJ set it up, and continued the vibe! The bar, open kitchen, and cheerful wait staff enhanced our anticipation of the food that was in store! We were not disappointed! I had the Jerk Honey Glazed Lollipop Lamb Chops AND Grits! It comes with 3 chops, cooked to your specification. (Medium for me) I was trying to scrape my plate for the last morsel of grits, and suck the Lamb bones, it was so good! The hubby ordered the Deep Fried Salmon and Grits, served with a savory Cajun cream sauce, scallion and tomatoes - and 2, fluffy scrambled eggs! He absolutely loved his meal! We also had the Deep Fried Biscuit Flight. Three biscuits - Salted Caramel Apple, Strawberry Cream, and Banana Pudding - perfectly fried in a way you would not even think they were fried, but for that ever-so light, crispy texture on the crust, and every bite - perfection! I cannot say which biscuit I enjoyed the most - I'll need to visit a few more times to make a determination! For beverages, we had coffee, and I ordered my (usual) mimosa. Our server, "Ms. Sunday," was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The Chef, Mr. Chris Davis, greeted us at our table during the meal, which was a wonderful, elegant touch! He explained about the fried biscuits (without giving away too much!)- and we complimented him on his culinary innovations in the kitchen! The Sunday brunch patrons began to arrive around noon, and by the time we left - close to 1:00pm, it was jumping! If you are in or near Baltimore, or plan to travel to the area soon, please put this restaurant on your list. Parking is at a premium, so if you can, arrive by Uber or Lyft. The experience will be well worth the trip!
We chose Yebo for our one year anniversary dinner and while it wasn't our first choice to do with kids, the evening was enjoyable and smooth. The service was genuinely great--attentive without hovering--and the dishes (we mostly ordered off HH small plates menu) came out surprisingly fast, which every parent can appreciate. We sat on the back patio, and it gave the whole night a relaxed, almost mini-getaway vibe. Not always easy to pull off a date-night feel with little ones, but this came close. Already looking forward to coming back for happy hour and soaking it in a bit longer. See you soon! I only had a margarita off the HH menu and it tasted a little watered down, which is why I took off a star. I'll definitely be back with a full drink review!
We ordered drinks. The mojito mint tea a non alcoholic drink was delicious. I had the Japanese's side car which was also good. We ordered the Island wings which were slightly charred and fall off the bone. All of the entrees were enjoyable. I had the Asian ribeye with mushrooms, and a side of Brussel Sprouts. Surf and turf and lamb chops. Service was good with our waitress and several other people. Very comfortable atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely would come again.
My son took me here Mother's Day weekend. It was an absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant is welcoming with inviting Afrocentric decor. The food was soooooo delicious. From the deviled egg shrimp to the lobster macaroni to our desserts. Chef's kiss
Let's start with I enjoyed this restaurant and will be back! My husband and I went for his birthday and the atmosphere was intimate enough for a nice date night and also a friend catch up. Street parking is good around but there are other restaurants in the area so keep that in mind. The service was good, simple, and helpful. The main attraction is the food for sure. I ordered a tapa as my main entree because that was getting my attention more than the Main options. I got the salmon nacho bowl with a side of brussels, they both were super good. My husband also ordered a tapa as the main with the Thai crab fried rice, which he said was good but it wasn't a big enough portion for him. We also ordered some pretty good drinks that I would recommend I ordered the brown sugar peach margarita and he ordered the maple old fashioned. Definitely adding this place as a go to when friends and family come to town.
Special thanks for accommodating us last minute. In the area for my niece's graduation from Morgan State. Once we decided to brunch found out last reservation had passed but when my other niece explained the situation that her sister just graduated from Morgan State they gave us a reservation but warned review menu as upon arrival we will need to place order. We had a great time. It was very cosy and welcoming. Food was on point wish I lived closer so as to try other items. Our server very engaging and knowledgeable. She made our dining experience top notch. Will definitely return when on the area again.
I enjoyed my brief experience at this bar. I like the narrow set up where you pass the bar, into a small dining room and into a quaint outdoor patio. I tried a custom drink and the fried rice. It was very tasty and not spicy at all.
The ambiance, the staff, and the food--what an experience. I can't say enough about my recent visit to Yebo Kitchen. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The jerk lamb chops were hands down my favorite. The fried rice complemented the dish perfectly, and the addition of green beans was the perfect finishing touch. The drinks were crafted just right. To end the meal, I had the lemon crunch cake served warm--and I had to stop myself from ordering another one to go. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
Someone greats you at the door when you first walk in. There is a front bar area, then the open kitchen, and a lovely dining room. We sat at the bar. We got a biscuit flight. The flight has an apple, banana and strawberry biscuit. All of them were great. The biggest surprise was the biscuit was fried. I would have thought that would make the biscuit heavy and greasy. But the biscuit was perfect. Next was the garlic pepper shrimp. These were perfectly fried and drizzling with some magic butter or oil. Then it was on top of crunchy wonton strips. The jalapenos on top give it the perfect amount of spice. Not as spicy as you would think. The lamb chops were the best, meatiest (is that a word) I have ever had. I'm just going to leave it there. The Thai crab fried rice was light, fluff and delicious. The drinks were also great and the ice cube even had an orange slice. I can go on and on but you should just go. Black owned and delicious.

Everything from start to finish was PERFECT! Beautifully designed, great customer service and DELICIOUS food that looks amazing! My daughter took me for brunch on a Saturday and I almost doubled back on Sunday! I held off until that Wednesday for dinner and was pleasantly surprised that the owner remembered me! That is top tier personable customer service! I have been telling anyone who will listen about this place. I will be a weekly fixture whether it's for brunch or dinner. You will love it too; try them out! read more

This is a very popular restaurant that doesn't take reservations, so be prepared to wait. My husband and I went on a Saturday evening and waited about 45 minute, but let me tell you, the food was absolutely worth it!!! Once we were seated, our server took our order right away and the food came out surprisingly fast. Every single dish we tried was a 10/10. Flavorful, hot, and well-prepared. I genuinely have no complaints. I can't speak on the drinks since we didn't order any this time, but I'll definitely be back to try them. Highly recommend checking this place out--just plan ahead and pack a little patience! The ambiance is nice and they play good music! read more
The food was tasty. The potatoes were my favorite. The short rib hash was good, but the "rib" was really just shaved meat on top of more potatoes and hidden under some sauce. The cocktails we had were also a letdown but I saw other tables ordering different dishes and they looked good, so I would go back and try those. Parking can be an issue. Southern charm with a splash of razzle-dazzle is exactly what you'll get at Yebo Kitchen. We arrived 15 minutes before opening for Sunday brunch, and we were promptly greeted and inviting inside at 11am. Gotta love that. They do NOT take reservations so I suggest you arrive early with your entire party for Sunday brunch, or wait an hour outside (very little space to wait inside). It'll be worth the wait but I'm just sayin'! Our waiter, Ty, was great. He checked in often, kept our water filled, and quickly got our orders in and served up hot. Our food was amazing. I ordered the strawberry biscuits, but Ty misheard and ordered the flight of biscuits. It was only a few dollars more and honestly, I should've ordered that instead of the single biscuits. It was dessert! Three warm, fluffy, sweet biscuits topped with apple, banana, and strawberry, respectfully. I'd return for those alone. For entrees, we ordered jerk wings, shrimp avocado toast, and shrimp and grits. OMG every bite hit the spot. No notes. Kudos to the "Chopped" winning chef. Very excited to support (and continue to support by bringing my husband me more friends) this black-owned establishment! Keep it up! read more
The place is very cozy and cute inside. I very much love the decor because it's very welcoming. While it's not a big and wide establishment, it's long and there's outdoor covered seating and indoor in the back past the bar and the kitchen. We were one of two parties to go inside as we got there when it opened. Chef Sammy was there and we said hello to all the staff as we walked to our table. The menu QR code is taped to the middle of the table and that makes things easy as well as cuts down on clutter on the table like regular menus add. Our server was Ty and they were very nice and helpful. They made sure to let us know the fried rice has dungeness crab legs on top as I'm sure that has caught a few people by surprise. We ordered the deep fried biscuit flight that contains: salted caramel apple, strawberries and cream, and banana pudding. My favorite was the salted caramel apple because it wasn't overly sweet. The biscuits were light and not dense, so that was very nice. I loved that the frosting on top wasn't so sweet, I imagine it's been cut with marscapone or cream cheese. For entrees, we ordered the strawberry cream french toast and the crab and shrimp fried rice with a side of chicken sausage. The mains were very tasty and the rice was perfectly cooked, then fried. The crab was delicious and the French toast was fluffy and not overly saturated or sweet as it came with the same cream as the biscuit. The chicken sausage was overcooked and dry while also being too sweet, so we didn't finish it. I appreciate that it was homemade. For drinks, I got the brown sugar peach margarita and my date got the maple old fashioned. He said he couldn't taste the maple, but I could. I didn't really get much flavor from the margarita in terms of brown sugar, but it was good and not overly sweet. We enjoyed brunch and will come back another time to try other things and maybe try dinner. As we started to wrap up, more people came and so I believe we got there at the right time when it opened so it wasn't so crowded. read more

I was treated to this black owned restaurant by a ggf for a birthday treat. We tried to come to this restaurant once before but, it was so crowded and the wait times were too long. So here we are able to officially check out this restaurant with bar seating. This was during the month of July so it was extremely hot in the restaurant and the air conditioner was broken. We were served at the bar by Lakeisha and I would not forget that because everyone has a Lakeisha in their family. The omelette was so good with the creamy sauce on top. The white sangria was made perfectly. Who doesn't love a side of bacon . Cheers to a great birthday treat. First time trying Yebo Kitchen and it was an overall great experience!! Went for brunch on a Sunday morning right when they opened at 11am. It was busy so we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. They had cute chairs and a couch for us to sit at while waiting. The servers were so friendly and helpful with recommendations given it was everyone's first time. We sat on the back patio which was perfectly heated. Food- My group tried the shrimp and grits, jerk chicken and waffle, bananas foster waffles and hot cakes. Everyone was very happy with their food. For drinks - We split two pre-mixed pitchers of mimosas which were good, though i prefer to get the champagne and the OJ separate so each person can mix it to their preferred ratio. The restaurant was solid. I was a bit concerned because they don't take reservations and I visited on a Saturday night, but the wait wasn't bad. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly hostess. There was a small but comfortable place for is to wait for our table. The music was great and got even better when the saxophonist began to play as we dined. It was definitely a nice vibe. We ordered the jerk wings to start. They were delicious meat fall off the bone wings. The food came super quick so they didn't arrive as an appetizer. I am so excited that I finally got the opportunity to visit this place!!! I was nicely greeted as soon as I walked in with a warm smile. The place was pretty packed but every member of staff that I interacted with was extremely nice and attentive!! The food was absolutely delicious!! I could not stopped eating! First and last visit. I only patronized this restaurant given the positive reviews. However, I was disappointed. The food taste terrible. Ordered the following items: 1. Lobster mashed potatoes. No taste or flavor, but overly salted. It was gooey in textured and taste. I'm almost positive that it was not real potatoes (boxed or otherwise). 2. Island wings. Nothing about the wings were good. Overly salty. 3. The baked bread with shrimp and cheese topping (can't remember the menu name). Seriously tasted like the smell of toilet water. No flavor! 4. Fried rice. Also, no flavor; just salt. Disappointed for what I expected and waste of money. Ordered food to go. What is pictured is what we played at home. read more

My friend and I went for MLK day and they had happy hour all day. I throughly enjoyed my crab egg rolls. Them jerk wings were too dang spicy for me but those brussel spouts were DELICIOUS and the shrimp tacos. I def recommend this place staff was friendly and we didn't have a long wait but also went an hour after opening read more
Yebo was definitely a vibe! Great food, good energy and nice staff. It is a bit small in the inside but they had additional seating in the back and they had seating in the front. I LOVED the interior. It was but loud with all the talking and music but I had a Fabulous time and look forward to trying them again! read more

The service was really great as well as the food. We started with the zulu bussels sprouts and salmon nacho bowl. My word they were delicious and plentyful. For dinner we had the fried lobster rigatoni and the whole fried branzio. So stuffed we skipped desert but we did have libations. Very good spot for date night or just fellowship. read more

I've heard amazing things about Yebo. Not just their food but, their desserts. Recently on a Monday, we bought my cousin here for dessert. They looked like they were closing but, they let us in the door. Noah was a gem helping us with our end of night treats. Most of the table ordered the Banana Pudding. At 1st I was skeptical, as I am a Banana Pudding purist; but their version was deelish! Served in a half banana peel, the regular banana pudding toppings were loaded on top. Ooey, gooey and good. Yebo Kitchen is located in the same building where the restaurant "Church," used to be. And if you've visited the previous establishment, you'll know the space is really small AND they don't do reservations. So, get there early or you will be waiting for a while. We arrived around 7p on a Friday night, and the wait was about an hour. Luckily for us, bar seats became available. On to the food - We tried the jerk lamb chops, curry mussels, and lobster mashed potatoes. The jerk lamb chops could have stood to be a tad spicier, but they were good nonetheless. The curry mussels!?! G E T THEM!!! The broth had a spicy-sweet combination that worked so well. Use the bread to sop it all up. Deliciousness! The lobster mashed potatoes could have been executed better. My main gripe is that there were about 2-3 small pieces of lobster. For the price, I need them to step the portion size up a bit. The overall consistency of the mashed potatoes was fine...just give me more lobstahhhh! There was classic 90s R&B playing. The vibe was really nice. Not too loud -- folks just having a great time! Oh! Before I forget, I was able to try Fiero Tequila. It was spiced with habanero. It actually wasn't bad. I would get it again. Try out Yebo for yourself and enjoy! Cheers! read more
It was a Thursday evening, I was part of a party of four and three of us had arrived and they would not sit us without our entire party so that was kind of disappointing. Once we were seated the service was fine. We got our drinks, entrées, and desserts in a timely manner. Now as far as the entrées go, there was some disappointment. I had grits with salmon. My grits were kind of cold. My salmon was dry and lukewarm. Another person in my party had egg rolls, and they were disappointed by them. Everyone enjoyed their desserts. What more can I say?! Yebo is a gem!!! Upon entering we were greeted by the hostess and some of the team. The entire staff is hard working and super friendly the moment you walk in. I love they maintain the bar area as soon as patrons get up to accommodate the next patrons to dine/drink. The decor is beautiful and feels warm and welcoming. While Yebo is cute, and could fit the Instagram aesthetic, for once this is a place where the quality of food matches the vibes hands down! Drinks can be a bit pricey but are crafted with love. We were a party of 6. Just a helpful hint....be sure your entire party is present or you cannot be seated. This is totally understandable. They are constantly busy which is a testament to how great it is! We ordered a variety of items and they were good! We will definitely be back again. read more

Jerk Lamb & Grits 10/10, a healthy portion of scrambled eggs you could tell were cooked low and slow, flavors were impeccable. My friend loved her jerk wings & waffles. Great service! Our waitress looked in on us immediately to bring us water, and she checked on us just the right amount. Loved the music and the earthy ambiance. Perfect brunch vibes! I've been for brunch at least twice and my review has remained consistent and pleasant each time. The brunch menu is perfection. Service is phenomenal! Ambiance is very inviting. Only thing I wished worked better is the AC on the hotter days as the kitchen is open and in the middle of the restaurant so it heats up naturally however the food tops my only complaint! I've been to yebo before however, was my first time for brunch. I love the owner. She's very personable and has great customer service. They were busy and we were informed the wait could be 40 minutes however we were sat in 15 minutes. The waitress was extremely slow. The drinks are pricey however, I was pleasantly surprised that I only needed one. I was not a big fan of the flavoring of the oxtails however they were cooked tender. My family was also not a fan of green onions being added as a garnish to almost every dish. I'm still giving yebo a 4 star rating because I love their dinner items and the owner is pleasant EVERY time. read more

This spot is a MUST VISIT! Very, Very RARELY, do I visit a restaurant and have Zero complaints. The food was AMAZING, the service was excellent (our server, Tre' was awesome), and the ambiance was intimate and cozy. Hubby and I went for our 21st anniversary and we had an amazing experience. We made it in time to order from the Happy Hour menu, tried the Brussels, Honey Cilantro Wings, and the Peach Bourbon Smash... all of it was amazing. Hubby ordered the crab egg rolls (not on HH menu) which were incredible. It was the freshness of each dish and presentation was top tier. For entrees we had the shrimp & grits, garlic black pepper fried shells and Lobster mashed potatoes... chef's kiss . Dessert was warm Caramel Bread Pudding... delectable. I was highly impressed and will be returning very soon. The space is small and they do not accept reservations, so when it's busy, I promise you the wait is worth it. Ambiance, service, food and drinks are all 5 stars. The island wings were spicy and tasty. The mango lemonade crush was VERY sweet. I had to put some water in it but it was really good. We loved everything we had and cleared all the plates. A beautiful space with great service. Zulu Brussel Sprouts--so flavorful! Crab Egg Rolls--yes yes yes yes yes. Get them Jerk Lamb Lollipops--the sauce is so delicious. I would get the entree next time so that I have more meat Fried Salmon and Grits--loved the grits and sauce on top We loved the ambiance so much that we sat at the table for longer than we meant to after the meal was over. ** Black Owned Business Alert ** 5/28/2024 Oh my!! WONDERFUL !! I literally rec'd several reels on IG regarding this establishment from 5 different folks. I HAD to try them !! . It's super easy to locate. There is plenty of metered street parking. Great customer service. Staff/ owners greet you at the door w a smile. My sis and I were seated in a pretty room by the patio and assisted by Ty. Ty was pretty awesome. He is a very respectable, knowledgeable, and kind, young man. Yebo Kitchen is great restaurant to try rather for a date night. Link up with the girls or just to get together with friends. There is street parking so do be prepared to look for parking. The ambiance and decor is really cute. However, The space of the restaurant is small but they make it work where is does not feel congested The service was okay and a tad bit slow. There is room for improvement but once our server was introduced to us he was on point and took care of us for the remainder of the evening. But the food made up for it. The food was amazingly good. Great for the portion size and very fulfilling . The brussel sprouts will make you slap your mama though, they were so good. So please do try those when you visit. I have no complaints about the environment, food, nor service. Everything was impeccable. The environment I was used to because I went to the previous iteration of this space, Church Bar. Looks very similar and I wonder if all the decor and furniture stayed put when the old owners left. Yebo Kitchen's owner and all the staff there were super pleasant and accommodating, whether I was at the bar or seated at a table. I'd had my eyes on the lamb fried rice entree, and decided to order it. SO GLAD I DID! The BEST PART of the entree was the rice. It was so well seasoned! I've never had rice like that before. I ate every morsel of rice off that plate. This isn't to say the rest of the entree wasn't amazing, because it was...just that rice tho. It deserved a personal shout out! The lamb was tender, the bok choy devine, and the sweet potato side could have been at home IN A PIE. UM UM UM. So good! Will I be back? Absolutely. There are so many other small plates, sides, and entrees I want to try. Do I recommend? Also absolutely. They don't take reservations, so make sure to show up when they open to get a good seat! read more

I had made reservations early May, but they no longer take reservations. They still honored ours on a Saturday morning right when they opened. The service is super friendly and kind. We got seated right away in their backroom, which was well decorated and really trendy. We had 2 waitresses who took turns taking our order/bringing us food. My husband ordered a coffee while I got the passionfruit ginger crush. My mocktail was delicious, really sweet but pretty refreshing. I would skip the coffee. It was some sort of French vanilla flavored coffee, maybe a Keurig thing, and wasn't the best. A suggestion for them may be to have regular coffee, even a French press? Especially for brunch. For our appetizers, we got the biscuits and the chicken in waffles. The biscuits were fine, but the chicken was absolutely the star. It was fresh out of the fryer. Well seasoned and breaded. It was like an elevated chicken tender. And the drizzle of honey mustard brought you back to remember it's still a classic. It was so good, my husband and I burned the roof of our mouth eating it too fast. Wel also go the hot cakes, the shrimp & grits, and the Asian steak. The hot cakes were SO buttery and fluffy and just delicious. You really can't go wrong with butter. The shrimp and grits were a HUGE portion and so flavorful. We couldn't stop eating it. I would go back there just for the shrimp and grits. The steak was fine. The potatoes it came with had a craggly outside and was our favorite part, but I would get the shrimp and grits/hot cakes over the steak. Came here for happy hour with my family. I decided to get the wings and the Brussels sprouts. The place is like a hidden gem on Maryland Ave. Upon entering the restaurant the staff was very polite and friendly.The Brussel sprouts were really good. The wings were good also. The sauce on the side of the plate for the wings had a spicy kick to them. I love spicy. It's very small on the inside and the tables are very close together. They also have seating outside as well. read more
I was excited to try Yebo kitchen as I came across it on tik tok. Nestled in Baltimore proper this venue has a front and back patio, bar seating and dining area. The staff here was nice and the food came out fast, a little too fast as we got our appetizers ans entrees within minutes of each other. Unfortunately the food was not hot honestly. Here is how I rank the food Jerk wings - 7.5/10 - good flavor and has a kick Lamp chops -8/10 - the veggies had too much soy sauce Crab egg rolls 8/10 - def would have them again Pasta- 6/10 - past and meat ratio was lacking and this dish was luke warm. I'm def pulling back up and giving this spot another shot. I would probably sit outside as the inside dining area can get loud. read more

I came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. It was BUSY and there was a line out the door for people waiting to be seated. I didn't mind because they are a new restaurant and I was expecting a wait, especially on a Sunday. My friend and I only waited for about 10 min or less and we were at the front waiting to be seated. The inside is very beautiful but we opted to sit outside because the wait was less. We were basically seated right away after that. The hostess was very friendly and apologized for the wait anyway. I got a Sangria and kale Caesar salad to start. They did originally put in the wrong kale salad but it was fixed without an issue and the right one came out pretty quickly. Because it was very busy there was a decent wait to receive your meals and appetizers. So much so that the food came out sporadically and not necessarily in order. The bar was also backed up so getting drinks took a while as well. Despite the wait, the food was delicious. I really really enjoyed my Caesar kale salad. The dressing was creamy, iykyk!!! I also ordered hot cakes with a side of bacon. The bacon was not cooked crispy which I didn't really like. It was pretty light skinned but I still ate it and picked around the fatty parts. The hot cakes were sooo good. Crispy edges, dense but kind of fluffy and sweet. The vanilla crème on top was good as well. I would absolutely order it again. I did try my friends jerk wings and they were okay. I don't think I would order them myself though. The table next to us was a good time and they let me try the banana split desert. It was very very good!! Nice and sweet and refreshing! The sangria was good as well, no complaints there. Overall, I would definitely come back to try the lobster fried rice and many other items. I would also like to see the dining room since I sat outside. I suggest you try this place out for yourself. You won't be disappointed! read more

I came for happy hour and to chill with friends on a Thursday evening . About 15 minutes after opening there was not much of a crowd, but it started to pick up more between 6:30 and 7:30pm. The prices are on the more expensive side for what you get, but I guess it makes up for it in ambience, especially on the back deck. GLOWS: -They have a variety of seating options, from the front patio to the back patio. -There is music playing on both patios (although I think the playlist looped 3 times in our short stay in the front, so more songs could be added) ---- There is a DJ in the back (on Thursdays only I believe) -The jerk wings were really good! GROWS: -During happy hour, if the hostess would make clear the areas in which happy hour is available, it would save some time and confusion when picking where to be seated for the evening. I came specifically for happy hour, so I had to do some moving around. -The mint lemonade from the sober bar menu was very syrupy and thick. Cutting back on the sweetener and adding club soda, making it a spritz, would make it more refreshing. read more
