We went for brunch and had a great meal. Everything we had was great. Kids enjoyed their meals and drinks. The adults loved our food too. I had the bean burger and was happy with the portion and the taste. Their shrimp PoBoy was a hit with my teenager. The staff were very nice and pleasant. The bathrooms were clean and maintained. We would have gone there again for dinner but they were closed. They were also closed on Monday :) Would definitely recommend it read more

Another example of how difficult it is to find a decent meal in a tourist town. My special Southwest Burger was a typical frozen variety of a beef patty and was missing its pepper jack. No I don't want to wait for you to make another. Hope about comping or extending a partial refund? And the tortilla on the burrito was cold from being pulled out of the fridge and not properly prepared. And the veggie Thai wrap was comprised of dried out grocery store Cole slaw mix and a questionable "Thai" sauce. Nothing appealing here. read more

Second time here and second time disappointed. It's clean and tidy but the food and service is lacking and the tea is not very good. I recommend the k-bar, the Tumbleweed cafe, or the Two bit Saloon. read more

I just had the vegetarian lentil soup and its amazing. Plus the customer service is second to none.

This restraint was expensive, dirty and it seemed as though the staff was slightly untrained and distracted. We had to wait for drinks due to a repair on the machine. Their menu was quite eccentric and small. read more

This has become my favorite place in Gardiner. Wish we would have discovered it when they first opened a few years ago. Had breakfast there twice and both were way above expectations. We went there for breakfast, and I got French toast.. The middle of the French toast was raw and my bacon had paper towel attached to it, which meant that the bacon was microwaved, because my family microwaves our bacon. Also, my family ordered a plate with an English muffin. The 'English muffin' looked VERY similar to a piece of toast. We called over one of the cooks and she said it was made in house. But when we looked back into the kitchen, there were bread bags that had the 'English muffins' in them.. I would not go there again. The cook needs more experience.. read more

We had both lunch and breakfast here on several occasions while staying in Gardiner. We both ordered the chili and cornbread during our lunch visit. It was super tasty as well as being a very good sized portion! The breakfasts are also of equal quality and portion size. We both ordered the Mediterranean Omelettes and were very pleased. If you can't handle big portions, I'd recommend going with an appetite or consider sharing. :) The service is very good. We were greeted upon arrival and explained the ordering process (order at the counter) as well as the menu without having to ask. I'd definitely return on a future visit! read more

We ate breakfast there three days in a row. The Old faithful breakfast was my favorite, the bacon was so good and the bread was delicious. They make everything made to order so it does take a little bit to get your order but definitely worth the wait. It does get pretty busy so get there early and you will want to try the baked cinnamon rolls, they were very yummy!!! read more

I had a great brunch at this place. They have a huge tea selection and a good selection of beer as well. The food is very good, particularly when compared to the disgusting, hardly edible overpriced breakfast at Mammoth. If you're staying in Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel there's no reason not to come out here to eat. The atmosphere in this place is really nice and the music selection is pretty good too. I ordered the corned beef hash and it was real corned beef instead of the canned stuff, which was a nice surprise. read more

I wish I'd found this place sooner in our visit to Yellowstone - it's well worth the 5 mile drive out of Mammoth. Lots of vegetarian options, reasonable prices, great staff. My mom and I split an absolutely fabulous Thai wrap with spicy peanut sauce that came with a side of good tortilla chips, and a Greek salad, my daughter ate every bit of her peanut butter and honey wrap. French fries were actual real potatoes, though a wee bit under-cooked, but still great. Order at the counter, take a number and sit inside or out. Casual, easy, delicious. Not a bad lunch. Wraps, burritos and burgers, with pretty decent chips and salsas. I thought the cabbage salsa was better than the roasted red pepper salsa, because the latter seemed to have too much vinegar, or something, but all together not too shabby. I had the Thai wrap which was very peanuty and not overly spicy. Huckleberry fountain soda was WAY too sweet and would have tasted great cut by about 50% seltzer. read more

We had the good fortune to have Schalene from the Yellowstone Grill, cater for our family vacation to Yellowstone! She prepared amazing meals (breakfast and dinners) for 16 people for 5 days. She served eggs, quiche, biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches and all were delicious. She worked with us on our theme nights to prepare dinners that included prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, ribs and beans and more. One theme night she brought balloons to help with the decor! She prepared appetizers each night that were a welcome treat after our long days in Yellowstone! She made all our meals with a love and passion for food and we enjoyed talking with her about her recipes! We ate one of our breakfast meals in the restaurant and we had the best time. She really loves what she does and it shows through her delicious meals and giving spirit. Do not miss this restaurant when going through Gardinder!! read more

On Monday, June 9th we went to the Yellowstone Grill for breakfast; there were 8 of us. Most of the time we were there we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered, and from there it went downhill. It took 45 minutes for the 1st person to get their meal. They were completely finished with their meal before the 2nd person received their food. Each meal was cooked individually, and served. It took us 1.75 hours to have breakfast. We would not recommend this restaurant. The food was nothing special. read more

Great people, great atmosphere, and great food! The French Dip and the Rueben are both fantastic! It seems new and trendy, but it has a great feel for the area. A great destination for lunch if you are anywhere in the north Yellowstone/Gardiner area. read more

Pretty decent, if a little expensive. I got a buffalo burger and a few chips for $10. I do realize its a remote location, and they have a very short summer seaspn to make money. Plus, people were friendly and there's a nice vibe with a guy in a guitar. Surely the best of the very limited options in this town. read more

Real homemade hash browns! The potatoes were clearly freshly grated and not frozen. They were toothsome and flavorful. We had breakfast here twice and it was consistently outstanding. The eggs were cooked perfectly to my over-medium request, the wheat bread was homemade and cut thick and I've already mentioned the hash browns. My husband reported that the bacon was thick, crispy and not greasy. Very friendly staff, too. read more

We stopped in the Yellowstone Grill twice during our stay in Gardiner and visit to the Yellowstone Park. Before I start with the food, let me mention the staff - Even when the restaurant was overflowing they were kind, offered refills on coffee, and checked in with guests. Yellowstone Grill is FANTASTIC!!! We had the great fortune of owner/operator Schalene catering an entire week for our family as we stayed in a house nearby... and every single meal was incredible! Schalene really went out of her way with the service for us and her creations were delectable each and every time. We also really enjoyed eating in the restaurant as well as we did one time... I only wish we had MORE TIME in Gardiner to try everything she has to offer! Seriously I have to believe there is one hard and fast rule for that area: when anywhere near Gardiner, eat at Yellowstone Grill. read more

Came here 2 days in a row for breakfast. The first morning they were busy. Took over 30 minutes to get our breakfast. We ordered a croissant sandwich, breakfast tacos and French toast. The food was very good. We went back the next morning, less busy, and ordered huevos rancheros, chicken fried chicken, and banana bread French toast. This time the food came within 15 minutes. Staff was friendlier the second day, but I would suspect it was because they weren't rushing. We walked in and the cook greeted us and showed us the menu had more options than what was up on the board. Overall and great place to eat breakfast. read more
