butter was not working with the lobster... sauces here are not a strength. We also ordered a side of potato puree, which was pretty good. But when aren't they? Our dining experience was not made better by the many diners from inside the restaurant coming out to do photo shoots almost constantly. Some parents just let their children come on the patio and hang out I guess so they could have some "mommy/daddy time". I wouldn't have paid for the patio if I knew the view came with babysitting duty. If you love Japanese food you may find this worth it, but this felt like the kind of meal you can get anywhere - just next to a lake so here it's a lot more expensive. ,

I have been coming to Yellowtail for over 12 years and have never had anything less than an amazing experience. The food is always delicious & the service is always top tier. Even when they are booked & busy, like they were last night, they always accommodate us as best that they can & service works like a well-oiled machine. We are especially partial to Mifka as our server, she just always shines with her amazing personality and attention to detail. They have an extensive & well-curated drinks menu with a varied sake selection.

second helping! I think I have an unpopular opinion here but the TUNA PIZZA was underwhelming. The truffle canceled out any other flavor in the dish. I would not buy this again. The CORN was disappointing. It was a lot of mayo and cheese without any other spice or flavor to elevate and brighten it. It was rich and heavy. Finally the SPICY AVOCADO cocktail was odd. I expected different but this was a lot more like a sauce rather than a drink.

Also the popping spicy crab rolls are a novelty - the weird feeling of sweet pop rocks popping in your mouth as you enjoy the sushi- pretty cool and like no other. Great cocktail selections and wine list!

The view is great. We paid the minimum $125 per person food and beverage spend for a patio table, and while the view was definitely worth it, we didn't love the meal and wouldn't hurry to go back. We had the rock shrimp, which was pretty standard; the gyoza, which was good but served with a tomato-based sauce that didn't belong on the plate; a simple California roll; the surf and turf - steak was overcooked and the wasabi butter was not working with the lobster... sauces here are not a strength. We always eat here when we are staying at the Bellagio. Get reservation because its always full. Had sashimi platter, protein roll which was delicious, salmon roll, picked veggies, black cod. All were excellent. Service is great as usual. Had a table next to window so we could see the fountain. I just dont know why the place is super dark!

Everything from beginning to end was spectacular! We had reservations, ran late, they still accommodated. No wait, no issue. Great ambiance! The server (Mikkel) was amazing, he knew all the items with extreme detail! The food was made to perfection! We had salmon with mushrooms, and the short ribs, and the mile high sushi roll. I also had the Lychee cocktail which was amazing! And we had the apple dessert and the chocolate one too. Top rating for the entire experience!

I had high hopes for this restaurant and with the prices they charge I had high expectations as well. The yellowtail serrano was great, tender thinly sliced fish with a bit of spice from the pepper. Paired with the cucumber salad was a nice combo of spicy/tender with sour/crunch from the salad. I was a bit disappointed by the Crispy Kalbi roll, even with the slaw on top there wasn't much a textural element, no crunch as I had expected by the name. Clear soup was pretty standard fare, something you can get anywhere. Our service was good, very formal and stiff, but he made sure everything came out correctly. Ambiance matches the pricing, quite upscale. Located in the Bellagio, you can catch a glimpse of the water show from the dining room which is neat. Overall an okay experience, though one I feel was not worth the price tag. I was expecting to be blown away and only felt a breeze.

I wasn't looking forward to this restaurant that my friend picked but I'm so happy she picked it and I went! First of all, the service was above and beyond, (thank you Theo) and you have a great view of the fountains out by the patio, and the food was so delicious! I had the Braised Wagyu Beef Short ribs with such amazing sauce, a lychee martini that was so good I ordered two, and the dessert was so amazing I forgot what it was called but it was like a bananas foster sauce with apple pie sort of thing! So good! My friend loved her yellowtail roll and her Mile High roll. We ordered the Kimchi Brussel Sprouts as well and they were just ok. I'd skip those...food was really good I can't wait to be back next time I'm in town for a trade show! I went back and had the filet mignon. It was delicious!

A beautiful dinner spot. Yellowtail is located inside the Bellagio and is stunning. It is one of those places that feels upscale while still feeling very intimate. I had a bit of an unconventional (but still nice) experience at Yellowtail. My friends and I had a reservation for a Saturday evening. Like many of the restaurants on the Strip, there is a missed reservation fee of $25 per person. It was just my luck that we were running late. When we realized we would not make it in time, we tried giving them a call a few times but received no answer. We ended up being just over 30 minutes late, hoping that there was a chance we would still have a table. To our surprise, we were still kindly offered a table. The host said that the original table we booked in the dining room was no longer available but that we could be seated in the lounge (the front of the restaurant that faces the casino). We were grateful to even be given a spot so we accepted the offer and took a seat. This spot is dark, moody, and very ambient. It definitely feels classy. Sitting facing the casino felt a bit awkward and like we were in all the action. We directly faced one of the main walking paths to the other restaurants. In a way, it's nice to have some people watching, but of course, a view of the Bellagio fountains would have been to die for. The table setup was super cute. The napkins and chopsticks were adorable yet classy. First, we ordered the Lychee Martinis. They were super good. The flavor was not too overpowering. It was perfectly sweet and had a flower perfect for some photos. By the time the drinks were brought out, we realized we would not have time to order a full meal. It was very busy and the wait for just the drinks was quite long. We sipped our drinks for a while before one of the waitresses stopped by and said that, in order to sit in the lounge, we would need to order food. So, we ordered the Salmon Tiradito appetizer. The portion was quite small (and of course pricey) for three people. It was very light and refreshingly. I personally was not a huge fan of the flavor but I could tell that it was very high quality. I hope. with some better planning on my end, that I could revisit Yellowtail and try more of the menu!

Third time here and still really enjoyed it. Brought some out of town coworkers as they were wanting sushi. Reservation is recommended. As we were walking from the hostess to our table in the back area, my coworker was loving the ambience. As we were approaching our table, you can see the Bellagio fountain. What an amazing view. The service was OK, the food made up for it. All our sashimi orders were perfection. The sauce is the sashimi the taste perfect. I still say it beats the sushi restaurant in Caesar's Palace, price, and food quality. I will be back.

This place was really nice. The service was ok. The pictures that I am sharing is of a salad. However it has too much vinegar where it wasn't edible. They did not comp the salad which was disappointing because I maybe took two bites of it and pushed it off to the side. It was definitely an overpriced salad. It just was really beautiful to look at basically. Everything else that I ate was delicious. Even the miso soup.

Since we had time to kill for a show, we chose Yellowtail since it's the perfect place to pregame inside our hotel. The beautiful staff goes hand and hand with the vibes here, from the hip and clean decor, to the romantic overlooking sights of the Bellagio fountains all in one spot. We ordered a bottle of Rosè to have with a couple of Savory Edamame, Big Eye Tuna Pizzas, the Mile High, and Ugagi Rolls. Each dish was special in its own way, and paired really well with the drinks. After all these years, Yellowtail still delivers on every aspect.

This place is a must! We started with the Akira Back Tuna and House Pickles which consisted of pickled carrots, radishes and cucumbers, delicious. Our meal was the Mile High withTempura Crab, Avocado, Asparagus, Topped with Mixed Sashimi, Spicy Ponzu Aioli, omg, everything was superb! And don't get me started with the service which was top notch! Our water was never empty and our places were removed swiftly. Best romantic dinner of my life ! Came here to celebrate my engagement with my fiancée and her and I got to sit on the private patio balcony! I am obsessed with this restaurant. It's my go to when visiting Vegas. I have tried so many different things from the menu and it never disappoints. The restaurant itself is so cute. You can't beat the location. Being able to watch the Bellagio fountain while eating is so fun. The server was very attentive and the sommelier Brain went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted and would enjoy. This is a must go to restaurant when visiting Vegas. read more

I walked in hungry and left spiritually reborn with a side of wasabi. The food? Out-of-body-experience-level, some of the best Vegas has to offer, attention to detail and quality. The staff? Absolute LEGENDS from the hostess to management, not a tempura tantrum in sight! Everyone was on point when it came to service, the room was packed wall to wall, but the staff at Yellowtail has the ability to make you feel as if you're the only group in the room. While dining the GM visited us, just to see how everything was, the interaction was a warm reminder of genuine hospitality in an increasingly digital world. The food is so vibrant and fresh, it'll make you do the unagi shuffle. The Tuna Pizza may not have the most appealing name, but the taste is iconic for a reason, one of my favorite dishes ever and something you WILL NOT FORGET. I had a reservation for Yellowtail at 7:30pm on a Saturday and was seated right away. The place itself is really nice and has a view of the water show in front of the Bellagio through the windows. You can even go out on the patio to watch from a closer view if you want. The tuna pizza here is a must! It has truffle oil on it and I'm a sucker for truffle oil. I would come back here just for the tuna pizza itself. Another standout dish is the ribeye. It's super flavorful and tender. I highly recommend it. However, I would pass on the Angry Salmon roll. Although it wasn't bad, it wasn't good. It was pretty plain and felt like it was missing something. The service here was great. Our waiter was attentive and quick. Came in for my 21st birthday and the Yellowtail teams in the front of house and back of house were able to deliver on all counts. The food was amazing 4 sides, 3 hot plate "entrees", a roll, were all able to fill our group. The ambiance while dining right next to the fountain and the lighting are second to none and not to mention the impeccable service. Our server was Chanez was amazing and must have read my mind with her impeccable service. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to others. read more

It's a cool concept and vibe, but it's insanely overpriced. I understand it's Bellagio, but I prefer Lago for value (Italian food). As far as Yellowtail, you're definitely paying a premium for presentation and vibe. Service is good, but portions are way too small for what you pay. If you have super deep pockets, go for it. Recommended if price not a factor. But, personally, I put Lago above it. However, I haven't tried all Bellagio restaurants yet. read more

I went for dinner and was lucky enough to get an outside table wirh Bellagio fountain view. I ordered toro roll and sesame matcha cake. The roll came in a very small portion but I guessed it's justifiable from the amazing view from the restaurant. Although, I think it was still too small. Toro literally melted in my mouth. A superb experience!! The matcha cake really tasted a bit weird, almost I tasted mild canabis in it. Maybe it came from smoke in the hotel? Not to throw bad suspect to the restaurant in anyway but it was just not very pleasant compared to what I paid for. Service was amazing. We came in late and we wanted a nice restaurant that opens late and decided to eat at yellowtail located inside the Bellagio hotel. This restaurant is pretty happening.. it was pretty full when we got seated around 9:30pm . The waitress was super nice, good was excellent! We ordered the sashimi plate and the fish was so fresh! Took the wife here for our anniversary dinner and the private 2 person balcony table outside in front of the Bellagio fountains was epic!!!! It's a must when you go. I ordered the 7 course Omakase dinner while The Mrs ordered a lacarte. Tuna pizza with truffle oil was out of this world you must order it!!!! Toro caviar was delish. Didn't care for the short rib. Our waiter was OUTSTANDING. The restaurant was so lovely and accommodating. With ONE exception, the food was off-the-hook. Please take the salmon carpaccio OFF the menu. 13 people agreed that it was flavorless and just kinda yucky. How do you get 13 people to agree on anything? It was a solid dud. This is a decent sushi spot located within the Bellagio where you may be able to watch the fountains depending on where you're sat. The interior is very classy and the service is the best in the business. The price is way, way up there. Value is the biggest problem here. The sushi is great but not exquisite as the prices would indicate. There's also not a whole ton of options, pretty basic options you'd see anywhere and the rolls themselves lack the creativity I've come to expect out of high-end sushi joints. And the drink menu is nothing to write home about. They have some very memorable appetizer options however, including the Spicy Miso and Tuna Pizza. The Spicy Miso honestly I think is the best thing they have here and one of the best soups I've ever eaten. It's actually really spicy and loaded with various seafood as a bonus. The Tuna Pizza is their so-called "signature dish", and it's pretty bumping. But on closer inspection it's really just the truffle oil running the show on that one, so hats off to them on the discovering that excellent pairing of truffle and tuna but now that I know about it I can probably just make it at home. We also got the Gyoza and Cucumber salad but you can take a pass on those, both pretty basic. Overall it's great and tasty sushi and absolutely nothing wrong with the food, drinks and service. But I also see very little reason to return just because the food is really basic and the prices are through the roof. read more

My second visit at Yellowtail and it did not disappoint. Start off with a couple tips, make a reservation it's easy to do online. Walk ins usually sit in the lounge area but the dinning area has a great few of the fountain show. If you're bringing kids I did not see a high chair. My daughter is 2 and was very comfortable in the booth. Service is great here. Very attentive and everyone really nice. No pushy feeling at all. To my surprise the food is really good. Sushi is fresh and made well! I ordered uni for myself to give it a try and tomago nigiri for my daughter and she loved it. I recommend the steak. Very good! We tried to rock shrimp and it's great too very kid friendly. . read more

The service and saki far outweighed the food by a long shot. The sashimi was excellent quality but overall it was an average meal for a lot of money. We have payed less for better sushi off the strip. But, this is just my opinion. I think you are paying more for the fountain show view and the service. read more

I had the expectation of an experience worthy of my review and yet nothing special. Service was below par had to wait 30 minutes when I could see tables available. We ordered and the server asked if we wanted the food brought out when it's ready, sure I replied. The apps came out separately which is fine. My friend's meal came out and 20 minutes later he had finished eating and mine showed up. She started to bring the bill before mine came out. My sushi roll was just a spicy salmon small portion and small roll. I've had better and HEB grocery store in Texas. Nice looking place with lots of pretty people all dressed nice. Sit on the balcony! What an amazing view to see the fountains while we were eating. My only complaint about it was that when we went out there the heaters weren't turned on and it took three tries for staff to come around and get them going. Las Vegas in February is cold and it felt an easy to sit outside at the mercy of the staff to keep remembering or trying to turn the heaters on. It seem like they should've been turned on before anyone was seated. The food was very good, not huge portions. Tastefully done, clean sushi of great quality. Our dishes came out one at a time with the eggplant skewers last so as we were deciding if we were going to order dessert, the really sweet eggplant skewers came out and they were so sweet that we figured that WAS our desert. There is so much garbage food in Vegas that I would recommend this place to someone who doesn't mind smaller portions, and wants a meal where they could feel white and healthy as they left. read more

This is Long overdue. We visited here in mid-November and the experience was exceptional. I had admittedly been debating between 4 & 5*. After all, I went to a Japenese restaurant and didn't try any of the Rolls or sushi / sashimi. That's OK because what we did try warrants the lofty rating. Yellowtail absolutely deserves their reputation of having a great atmosphere and exceptional service. 'Couldn't have been better. Let's talk about what we did have. The Tuna Pizza was very cool.. very different. Very glad I tried it... not sure if I would do it again or try something different. The Gyoza and Albacore were outstanding (I am running out of superlatives). What sealed the deal (5*) for me was something I never would order at a Japanese restaurant but the server couldn't recommend it enough (he did a few times)... the Black Angus Ribeye. Easily one of the best steaks I have ever had in a restaurant (I think I usually do proteins better at home). In fact, this ribeye was far (FAR) superior to one of the famous celebrity chef steakhouses known for Delmonico's / ribeye's. And as for what sent everything over the top? The Black Cod WILL be of the Top 5 pieces of fish you ever try. I have "Top 5" lists for everything.. and there are only 2 restaurant seafood plates on my "Top 5" seafood plates... (nothing else was legendary)... this was. Don't care for Cod? Too bad... please try it as you may never have better. During a week of eating out too much celebrating a milestone birthday... Got a friend of a friend recommendation and made this the first stop on our trip. It is dark AF in here so bring your own lighting lol jk. It is dark though and of course hard to get a good pic since my phone eats first. Service was impeccable though. The servers were very knowledgeable and on top of their stuff! Right off the bat, 5 stars for the most interesting dish I think I've had. The POPPING SPICY CRAB roll works so well and my brain can't comprehend. This was my lowest expectation dish but it definitely came out on top. The FILET MIGNON on mushrooms was delish! Even for the expensive price, we ordered a second helping! I think I have an unpopular opinion here but the TUNA PIZZA was underwhelming. The truffle canceled out any other flavor in the dish. I would not buy this again. The CORN was disappointing. It was a lot of mayo and cheese without any other spice or flavor to elevate and brighten it. It was rich and heavy. Finally the SPICY AVOCADO cocktail was odd. I made a last minute reservation at Yellowtail and so glad I did. The food was very good as were the drinks. We had a cozy table near the window so had a nice view of the Strip side and water show. The service was a bit slow but very friendly. Everything we ate was delicious. My favorite items include the angry yellowtail (right amount of spice), the shishito peppers (nice and salty), and spicy tuna with crispy rice (that topping! Yum). While I enjoyed the experience, it's quite pricey so it's definitely a special occasion kind of place for me. read more

We were really expecting wonderful food with the atmosphere and having a really great server. But we're so disappointed by the food. The presentation of the sushi was lackluster. The rolls were small in size, falling apart probably because the rice was dry and rolls just not fresh tasting. It is disappointing to use your chopsticks to pick up sushi and it just falls apart. If we get great tasting sushi we just want more, but not in this experience. For the price we expected great sushi!!! read more

Stopped by here while visiting Vegas for a conference - I was extremely pleased. I met up my old roommate here dinner and we very quickly seated - there was plenty of room and the ambiance of the restaurant itself is nice. The restaurant itself is dimly lit, with nice views of the Bellagio Fountain Show. I got myself an "Infusion" cocktail (vanilla + pineapple Sake with Rum) - which was very pleasant and tasty. For food, we shared the seaweed salad, yellowtail jalapeño, the combo carpaccio, the happa roll, and a yellow tail scallion roll. The food was quite great - the carpaccio and Happa roll were highlights for sure. The lobster carpaccio melted in my mouth, and the octopus and yellowtail were solid as well. The Happa roll was delicious - and the spicy sauce that came with it paired perfectly. The rest of the items were also really good My only gripe if anything is the pricing, but that's to be expected in Las Vegas/ on the strip Overall, taking everything into account, I'd recommend anyone who likes Sushi to swing by. I had the pleasure of dining at Yellowtail this evening, celebrating my friends birthday.We had 7pm reservations for a party of 5 and were seated with a minimal wait, at our table on the terrace. I have had the pleasure of dining here on this day for many years and have always been delighted with the service, memorable menu items, cocktails and of course the stunning view of the fountains. this is the best kept secret in Vegas. The lychee martini recommended by our attentive sever was delicious, only to be outdone by the delicious creations by the chef. the tuna pizza is always a favorite, the chicken was creamy and the sushi is so fresh I think its still swimming. All of the terrace tables are great for the Belligio fountain shows and views of the strip. We will certainly be back to our #1 Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas. read more

All I remember was going through the casino areas of Paris Hotel, and then going down one floor to the Horseshoe area to reach this bar just minutes before closing on a Friday close to midnight. I quickly grabbed a seat at the bar area and perused the menu, which has a ton of drinks, beers, wines, mocktails and even snacks. Even when close to closing time, patrons filled up all the bar seating which isn't a lot; most seating was couches and tables near the knickknacks. I got myself the Bee's Knees, which is cranberry and pineapple juice, apple puree, cinnamon fire syrup and some ginger beer according to their menu just outside the front entrance. I can only describe the taste as a sweetened fruit juice with a ton of fizz from the ginger beer, and the pineapple and apple came out on top for overpowering the drink overall. Some mint leaves and a slice of grapefruit were added in, and the mint leaves made this drink feel more like a special cocktail. This and other mocktails is $13 before tax, so pretty high price especially when considering their other alcoholic drinks are not that much higher than that... I actually still loved my drink, though! It was a nice wrap-up for my last day in Vegas and I'm curious now to look a lot more carefully at the stuff on the walls if I ever come here again!

Australian Lobster was amazing! Our service was amazing! This is the best part of Plaza and is a must visit for us every trip to Vegas, regardless if we are staying downtown.

Well, where do I start... I arrived to Las Vegas from San Francisco Friday night, with an intense and frustrating appetite. "Sushi ...I'm thinking sushi." My wife is thinking Blackjack, she's a bit of an addict to gambling. Well I convinced her to eat first and so we did. We decided on Yellowtail, since it was the only sushi restaurant in the Bellagio. The ginormous gold fish tail in the front of the restaurant was extraordinary, as well as the HOT cocktail servers! both which made the restaurant very attractive. As we walked in , I thought surely we would never get a table since there was a huge crowd of people waiting, and now I know why. The hostess was very personable even with a mass of hungry guests all staring at her. She kindly and politely showed me to the bar where we had a drink while we waited. My wife had the essence which was a cucumber mixed drink and I had a long island. The essence was very refreshing and tasty , while the long island was mixed with perfect ratios of alcohol, 2nd best I've ever had (1st is the one I make....seriously!). It took about 7 minutes for a table which was reasonable. As we sat in the lounge area, we were immediately approached by a tall gentleman and greeted. My wife mentioned how handsome he was and told him about a daughter of mine. I kind of gave him the evil eye the whole night, its a dad thing. Our waitress then offered us some cocktails, and gave a detailed and helpful explanation of the menu. I was really hungry and neither my wife or I are picky with food so we had the server pick some of her favorite dishes for us. The edamame was to die for, a simple appetizer was transformed into a mouth-watering must have dish in this restaurant, with two styles regular, and one with a spicy sauce. The big eye tuna pizza was not what I expected when i was told pizza. It was better then that. Tuna sashimi on top of a crispy flour tortilla with a tasty truffle oil....hmmmm so delicious. The beef tataki was art on a plate, every slice precisely plated, and the flavor was so intense and well balanced. The seared albacore was a wonderful recommendation, succulent slices of seared albacore with crispy onions and mushrooms. A must have for every one. The actual sushi rolls were like none other, truly the freshest product I've ever had. Every piece was perfect in size with a perfect ratio of fish and rice. Good toro is hard to come buy, but Yellowtail obviously must have some pretty great suppliers. So tender that it melts in your mouth. Last but not least the highlight of the night, dessert. I really wasn't interested in having chocolate cake, but i was talked into it by the sweet and convincing description the server gave me. The chocolate cup. As we dug in the flavors completely left me in a euphoric state, banana, rich chocolate, vanilla bean ice cream. It was like biting into heaven. So overall the service exceeded that of a five star restaurant, the food was exquisite and phenomenally presented. The atmosphere was hip and relaxing, and the view of the fountains of lake Bellagio was......breath taking. Next time you're in Vegas, you have to check this place out. read more

Wow!! My friends and I came out to vegas for the weekend last week for a b-day. We've been to many typical Americanized sushi restaurants and also many authentic Japanese restaurants, so we were out looking for something different and innovative. Our concierge @ Palazzo told us to check out Yellowtail, so we took her word... Arrived @ the restaurant for our 8pm reservation, the front area with bar and lounge was packed, great energy. There were a couple groups checking in with the hostess before us. The line moved quickly and we were greeted with 2 very friendly hostesses, man.. they were gorgeous!! We were seated immediately @ a nice round table (there were 7 of us) in the main dining room, facing the Bellagio fountain show. Our server Nick greeted us shortly with menus and their sake/wine list. We went with a bottle of sake he recommended, Senshin. It's interesting to me especially that a lot of sake brands in the U.S. are made in Japan but not sold in Japan. I had never heard of most of the brands on their list. The food was fantastic and very creative/original compared to other places on the strip. It is definitely not a traditional style. We just let Nick order for us with their best dishes. Signature apps filled up our table like family-style and we all shared: Tuna Pizza, Lobster Carpaccio, King Crab Tempura, Duck Prociutto, Octopus dish, Yellowtail tataki.... definitely reminds me of Izakaya style, food comes out as they are ready. This is not your place if you embrace the American service style where things are coursed out and everyone gets food at the same time. Next we had a big sashimi and nigiri platter, the quality was there for sure. We didn't order any rolls as they didn't have any that stands out. Then we shared bunch of entree dishes: kobe flat iron, ribeye and the chicken. They were all execellent!! Chicken and the flat iron were bomb, Nick told us the chefs sous vide the meat before grilling, mmmm the chicken was so moist and tender!!! Then we finished off with some assortment of delicate desserts. GET the chocolate cake in a cup!! Overall, the ambiance of the place was really hip and cool, the view you can't get much better than this place, the service - WOW we will come back and request Nick!! Chef Akira has his own style of Japanese cuisine, which I personally enjoyed a lot. This place isn't for people favors typical california roll, spicy tuna roll, rolls w/ eel sauce. I think the perks of the menu are in the shared plates and entrees, and if you like sushi and sashimi, the quality is there. Roll eaters wouldn't fully appreciate this place. Yellowtail by Chef Akira Back, located in the Bellagio, is a dining spot I've visited before, and it has consistently delivered outstanding experiences. My recent visit further solidified my admiration for this restaurant. We had dinner reservations for 7:00 PM and requested outdoor seating. It's important to note that there is a $125.00 minimum spend and a 2-hour maximum dining time for outdoor seating. While checking in about 15 minutes early, the hostess pleasantly reminded us of these conditions, though the reiteration was slightly irksome. Upon seating, we noticed two open tables--one closer to the iconic fountains and the other a bit farther back. My wife asked if we could sit closer to the fountains but was informed that the table was reserved. Ultimately, this turned out to be a blessing, as the mist from the fountain show proved less intrusive from our table. Our waiter, Cuba, exemplified excellent service, and the dinner itself was nothing short of phenomenal. We opted for the **Omakase** (pardon any misspelling), a six-course meal including dessert, curated by the chef. With every course being a surprise, anticipation built with each bite, and the entire meal exceeded expectations. "Good" simply wouldn't suffice--it was downright delicious. Well this is my first time visiting Las Vegas. I am sure as everybody knows it can be overwhelming, so many things to see, so many things to do. We had walked into Bellagio for the first time (What a beautiful hotel). We were looking for a quick bite before we headed to the nightclub. We walked by Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant. We figured why not, the music and decor had us right away. We were seated right away in the dining room which was amazing. We were approached right away by our server suggesting drinks and water. I have to tell you not a big fan of girlie drinks so when I seen the Banzai Bourbon I was thrilled. Something for the hardcore drinker still with a twist. The server then recommended dishes off the menu. We are not the expert sushi eater so when he showed us the chef's signature dishes we took his advice. They brought out the Big-Eye Tuna Pizza (Hands down the bomb), also the Kobe Beef Tataki, and Some fish by the name Walu. Don't know what the hell that means, they should of called it the fish that frickin melts when you eat it so damn delicious. We normally eat rolls and sashimi, but the server opened our eyes to the wonderful world of small plates. What turned out to be a quick bite turned into a sit down dinner. We never wanted it to end. Went there with 6 more friends. We frequent Nobu and mostly Shibuya (love them both) and we wanted to give this one a try. So yes we are already used to high prices but in exchange for great food, service and atmosphere. The girls were really pretty and the entrance cool but once you get to the main dining room the space looks like a nice coffee shop, one large space, no personality or privacy of any kind. Food was of good quality even though some parts of the menu were really out of balance, with most cold plates being a fish/seafood item plus some kind of flavored ponzu sauce. I am used to seeing a hamachi and a tuna or salmon dish prepared this way but at Yellowtail they had like 6 items like this, from lobster to scallop, etc. What if you have a guest that does not like that kind of combination? In any case service was not that great, some lady whose English was not that great but was nice. Left hungry after spending $700 even though we only had a couple of beers (not a nice selection of them either by the way). This place has no substance (the tuna pizza was great but a copy of Morimoto's recipe) and overpriced even compared to other nicer Strip Japanese restaurants due to its lackluster atmosphere, so-so food and service. Once seated, we ended up in the far-left corner near the bar, which came with its own set of challenges due to a large obstruction in our view. However, the silver lining was the exceptional service we received throughout the evening. Now, onto the food: while some dishes were delightful, others fell a bit flat. The gyoza, cucumber salad, and sushi were somewhat average; there was nothing particularly memorable about their taste or portions, which I believe could use some improvement. On the other hand, the tempura lobster, halibut, and kalbi roll were standout dishes that truly wowed us with their unique flavors and perfect execution. Overall, Yellowtail has a lot to offer, but there's definitely room for enhancement in certain areas. I look forward to seeing how they evolve in the future! read more

Every time i visit the Bellagio hotel in vegas i supper in yellowtail japanese restaurant for many reasons...... First of all it was the first time the Chef "Akira" came over our table and say hi and introduce him self couple of the best plates i ever tried as well. The Big eye tuna pizza is one of my favorites, simple fresh and really tastefull...... As an entree the Kobe flat iron is fantastic,....fresh tender and with an unique flavor with it's teriyaki sauce......!!! Also it was the first time i tried the more fresh seaweed salad ever!!! And to close my excellent experience in this warm nice modern and with the best fountain show view, i highly recommend the chocolate in cup..... that mix of a warm chocolate cake with the cold vanilla ice cream is fantastic..........!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I just got back from Vegas and couldn't wait to review Yellowtail at the Bellagio! This place puts all other Strip/tourist trap restaurants to shame. From the second you walk in, the vibe strikes you in the face, like Bruce Lee. The music creates a great vibe but almost too loud. The lighting is dim. It will make almost anyone look better. Speaking of... the staff is considerably better looking than most places but their knowledge and skill level are the most impressive. The outdoor seating was perfect last week but may be too hot soon. We had the tasting menus. The grand omakase was out of control! Their Chef must be very talented! I can't wait to go back! The prices are inline with what you should expect at the Bellagio, with excellent service, plus a table with a view! Splurge when you go because you don't want to miss one plate! i come to vegas every 2 years with my friends to party and gamble. I was going to eat at Shintaro and realized that Yellowtail was a new restuarant that had just recently taken over, i was already impressed with the remodeling they have done not only that but the lounge was filled with so many hot chicks that worked there so we decided to go and eat there, we ate in the dining room and was immediately greeted by and busser who gave us some warm towels and had asked for our preference of water at the moment i thought he was our waiter, ive ate at many place and can admit Yellowtail's food was the best food ive ever had in my life the management even had the time to drop by our table a few times and asked how are we doing, the view of the strip and watershow is spectacular, YT Yellowtail is the Revolution woot woot =) read more

Words can't describe how amazing the food is! I ate at Yellowtail and I was blown away! First of all, I ate on the patio and if you get the chance I highly reccomend it. The Bellagio fountains go off every half hour or so and it is amazing! The food and service were wonderful! I had the great pleasure of meeting Akira Back, Executive Chef, and he was great fun. Everything we order was absolutely delicious! There wasn't one thing I didn't love. I reccomend the tuna pizza, kobe beef tataki, lobster carpaccio, jidori chicken, king crab tempura, and everything else on the menu! I was amazed at how Akira was able to take traditional japanese food and recreate it in a new inovated way. All in all, there is not a better japanese restaurant in Vegas!! Definitely the best Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas. Prices are on the higher side, but being in the Bellagio, it's standard. The food there is great, especially the tuna pizza, which is a round flatbread-like disc with tuna, truffle oil, and micro herbs. The grilled walu was also spectacular. Simple, but elegant. What impressed me the most about this place was the quality of fish when I got my sushi and sashimi. Pieces were a bit on the smaller side, but tasted a lot better than the huge, oversized, filling abominations you find in a local all-you-can-eat place. Fish was clean and tasty! They also have a beautiful view of the Bellagio water show on the patio (which if you get lucky, you might be able to dine at if the weather permits). Overall, a magnificent experience. read more

Yellowtail at Bellagio is an absolute must-visit! My friend and I went for a girls' night and had one of the best dining experiences of our lives. We were lucky enough to be seated on the private balcony, where we enjoyed spectacular views--truly a breathtaking setting. The food was incredible, but the standout dish for us was the Popping Spicy Crab Roll--an absolute must-try! We also explored a variety of wines throughout the meal, and thanks to Brian Duffy's hospitality and deep knowledge, each pairing was spot on. I took my family to yellowtail last saturday to celebrate my parents anniversary.restaurant was full when we walked in.we are seated sooner than we thought.our server was very attentive and professional.he recomended us omakase menu.so 6 of us decided to have chef's special which i always do when i go to japanese restaurant.i just wanted to see what chef can offer.it turned out to be awesome choice.also we ordered tuna pizza which was unbelievable..overall i give them 5 stars for the great food and great service also great atmosphere.most importantly,my parents loved it.especially the fountain show part.you get to see the fountain show while you are enjoying your food.i definitely recommend you to go to this place.....two thumbs up!!! read more

We come to Yellowtail every time we are in Vegas. It's always excellent from the food to the drinks to the service. On the pricing- pull out a credit card- and just enjoy the experience. We sit for hours ordering and tasting. It's not about the nourishment- it's about the ride. Our favorites are- the beef tataki and lobster carpaccio on the cold plates. On the warm plates- soft shell crab, dynamite and the best thing you'll ever put in your mouth- the foie gras. We usually get two. On the rolls- you should not leave without the spicy pop rocks one- and the short rib roll is amazing. The staff is always great. Highly recommended. read more

One of my ultimate cravings in life is the Tuna truffle pizza at Yellowtail, Bellegio. Its unique, crunchy, smells and tastes amazing, just so yummy! I've sat at the bar and had it as a snack as im passing through the casino, its just really really good. The rest of the food isn't bad either. The crab and shrimp hand rolls are great and the the roll with the pop rocks is very unique. The atmosphere is nice and hip without being too loud and over the top. Never had trouble with the service. It's definitely one of my vegas favorites that I keep going back to, even if its for the tuna pizza alone! read more

First of all the view was mind blowing... we were lucky that we sit in a place that we can see the Bellagio fountain~ dinner with a view is priceless! I mean if you eat with us we are the view ofc The popcorn shrimp and tuna pizza has no doubt being delicious and super fresh!
