Woo! So glad Yiassoo is still doing well! Was in the area, and stopped by around 2PM. Surprisingly, close to a full house inside. Two of us ordered: beef souvlaki plate $20.95 super gyros plate $20.95 Food took some time to come out, but comes out hot and nice flavors. Flavors are clean and ingredients taste fresh. Seating inside and outside. Parking lot out back. Glad the high school staple is still alive and thriving!

Half Chicken Plate (1/2)

This was my first time at this location, however, I have frequented the Campbell location quite a few times. I knew by coming here I would get a huge portion for a not so huge price, and that they delivered. I ordered the 1/2 chicken plate and subbed the salad for rice which I would not recommend because it made my meal far more carb heavy than I was anticipating. Service is nothing extraordinary but the lady working the front was nice and helpful. This location seems to be clean considering you can see right into the kitchen. As for the food quality, I loved the chicken and the side soup, the rice could've used more seasoning, and the fries were good and hot but I also would've liked to see more of a garnish. I didn't know that the plate came with pita so that was a pleasant surprise, I just wish there was some sort of dip for the bread as well as the fry. Definitely plan to come back for diversity of food on the plate, the portion size, and the price (I think it was just under$20)!

I haven't been here in a long time but was in the area and in the mood for Greek food. It's a local hangout and it's very casual. Staff are really nice. You order from the board menu posted inside the restaurant. They give you a buzzer. When your food is ready you go and get it at the counter. Service is fast. Food is delicious - both the gyros and the chicken skewers. I thought the rice was a little bland. They do have sauces at the counter that you can add to enhance your food. The gyro plate (I had it open faced vs wrapped) comes with rice, salad, tzakiki and some pita. You bus your own table after you're done. There's outside seating on the patio on nice days.

Chicken plate 5/5 - this dish was really good! Looks very simple but flavors are good and chicken isn't too dry. I like the flavor of the rice. A bit salty but paired with the yogurt, it was good! Good amount of sides too. Not much indoor seating and since we had a larger party, we sat outside. Food came out pretty quickly.

Had a chance to try Yiassoo with a few coworkers yesterday and had a nice experience. This spot was on my radar after reading lots of good reviews on the yelp page. The service here is fast and ambiance is also cute. The ordering system here is at the front. You are then given a buzzer and then go to pick up your food. I ordered the Super Gyro plate which came with a wrap stuffed with Gyro meat which was EXTREMELY flavorful. The portions here are really great - and I would DEFINITELY recommend one to check this place out. I got this with fried and they also packed a side salad for me which came with cucumbers, tomato, feta cheese, olives etc. I really enjoyed every bite of this meal and would recommend to go back here and try!

My go to spot for greek food when on the go Everything I've had is good and fresh Ambiance quite and calm Can get busy on weekends service is always friendly although it's generally a buzzer and pick up type of vibe.

Gyros Salad

Stopped by to Yiassoo for lunch with a Gyro Salad. This salad was packed either tons of protein and every bite was delicious. Add some of the yogurt or spicy sauce to give it a little more flavortown! The staff was very friendly on providing suggestions on what to get and their favorite thing to eat. A good amount of space while giving you the option of indoor or outdoor seating.

Gyros Plate

Nice, casual Greek spot with big portions and tasty options. My friend and I shared two entrees: - GYROS PLATE: Given that it comes with the choice of rice or fries, I didn't realize this would be a pita sandwich rather than just gyros meat, but the sandwich is very tasty with the sauces and toppings. They also offer a deluxe option with extra meat, but we thought the portion was already fairly generous, and as a plate made for a very satisfying and complete meal. We especially enjoyed the rice when paired with the complementary bottles of ranch sauce - CHICKEN SOUVLAKI SALAD: This was pretty good, but felt a bit dry and less flavorful in comparison to the gyros. Unless you're really watching your carbs, I would probably recommend the plates over the salads, as the rice is really good and they also come with a good amount of the same salad Overall, highly recommend the gyros, though I also want to come back to try the salmon!

This was my go-to spot when I worked in Cupertino. I discovered this place because I used to go to their sister restaurant, Mikonos Grill, in Milpitas. The menu is similar. They have a small parking lot shared with a Chinese restaurant next door. If you go during lunch time, parking might be hard to find. What I love about this place is you can choose two sides with your entree. Your options are fries, greek salad, soup, and rice. I always op for rice and soup. Rice always go well with meats and I love avgolemono soup. If you haven't avgolemono soup, it's rice and chicken in a lemony egg broth. It might not sound appetizing, but it is. For my entree, I always order the gyro plate or salmon. The gyro plate is filling and I always request for the gyro meat to be extra crispy. If you're a fan of a salmon, order this! It's never dry and full of flavor.

The Yelp reviews look positive, ~$10 for falafel SW is steep, do they have a lunch specials?

No specials, but you receive very generous portions so well worth it.

Service speed could be better as we didn't get checked on by our server especially when we needed serving utensils (sharing food) and when we were about to wrap up it took a long time to get the check. Food wise most was good - recommend the hummus cauliflower with white pita as well as the grilled chicken. The a la carte lamb was spicy and not tender enough. For sides we got falafel and eggplant Romanian. The falafel was slightly dry. Eggplant was very tomato in flavor and served cold because it's like a dip. They gave either free mimosa or Housemade mint lemonade for the mother on Mother's Day which was very nice touch. Seating ambiance very nice too with warm woods and greenery elements

You place your order at the front register and they deliver your food to your table. I ordered the chopped salad without peppers or pita chips. I added a side of beef/lamb gyro meat and a side of chicken gyro meat. I also ordered a small fountain drink. I found a table and waited for my order. It was delivered to me quickly and you can see the steam coming off of the gyro meat. My salad was huge. I didn't care for the lemon dressing so I asked the young man at the front counter if I could try the red wine vinaigrette. He was really nice about it and gave me the other dressing to try. The red wine vinaigrette dressing was perfect with the salad and gyro meat. The salad was loaded with cucumbers, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, feta, pickled onions, Kalamata olives and garbanzo beans. It was so good and the gyro meat was hot and savory. It all worked so well together. The ice machine was not working so I had to have my soda without ice. At least the soda was cold. I could only eat half of my salad and got some takeout containers for the leftovers. Overall, I think you get your money's worth with the amount of food you get here. I will definitely come back again.

By the time we realized it, the party had already started, so returning to the restaurant wasn't an option. The next day, I spoke with the owner/manager, Jonathan. Mistakes happen, especially during busy weekends. What matters is how a business responds. The missing food was frustrating, but the broken promise and lack of follow-up were far more disappointing. This restaurant has been a family staple for years, but after this experience, we've decided to take it out of our family's regular rotation. It's unfortunate to lose a longtime customer over something that could have been resolved with a simple follow-through.

None of us had ever eaten here before. We made reservations and got there at 5 pm, such beautiful decor. It almost felt like we were being transported and not in Los Altos anymore. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Our table was the first one from the entrance, which was great because we had the chance to partake in some "people watching" and seeing some adorable doggies on their walk from the window. As we were eating, more and more people started showing up. Our service did not decline and we were treated wonderfully. We all shared a couple of appetizers: Saganaki, Barbayani Thalasa Tiganites, Octopodi, Horiatiki Salad and Greek Fries. Drinks ordered were a mocktail and Bee's Knee. For dessert, we got the Lemoni Crème Brûlée. Everything was delicious, but the Lemoni Crème Brûlée, OMG!!! The best! It was tangy and sweet, the perfect combo. We each had a lemon half...if only these yellow lemons were the size of a grapefruit! Ahahaha. I was trying to savor every last bit of the filling. Plus, the plating looked superb. Parking is street parking, so it can get hectic. There are also parking lots in the surrounding areas. I did see a 3% living wage surcharge added to the bill. This is a nice restaurant where you can eat indoors or outdoors. Our waiter Allen was very helpful…read moreand friendly, and gave us some really good suggestions. From those recommendations we ended up ordering, the Barbayani Pikilia, Octapodi, Moussaka, Lavraki, Paidakia, the Galaktoboureko, and the Whisper cocktail. We got the Barbayani Pikilia as a tasting platter, which had their House-Made Pita Bread along with a Pomegranate Dip, Tiroakafteri (a dip of Feta, Garlic, and Red Bellpepper), Tzatziki (a dip of Greek Yogurt, Cucumber, and Dill), Melitzanosalata (a dip of Roasted Eggplant and Herbs). All of it wasn't bad, but our favorite was the Melitzanosalata and Tzatziki for their fresher taste. The other dips, especially the Tirokafteri was our least favorite since it was so heavy with all the Feta in it. The Octopodi had one Charbroiled Octopus Tentacle with Red Wine Vinaigrette, Oregano, and the House Pesto Sauce. The Octopus was cooked perfectly tender, and had a fresh taste with the sauces. The Moussaka was a casserole with Roasted Potatoes, Grilled Eggplant, Lamb Ragout, and Bechamel Sauce. This whole dish blended together nicely, especially with the Bechamel Sauce. The Lavraki was a whole Mediterranean Seabass, which was cooked perfectly and was nice and flakey. The Potatoes and Braised Greens were also cooked nicely and had great flavor. The Paidakia was Lamb Chops with Potatoes and Greens, which also had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The Galaktoboureko was a nice finish for dessert, being mild in sweetness, and having nice textures combining the Semolina Custard with Phyllo Dough. The Whisper cocktail had Thyme Gin, Elderflower, Ginger, and Chamomile, which really blended well together. Thankfully it wasn't too sweet and had the right amount of alcohol. However, the later service we received or should I say, didn't receive put a damper on our evening. After our original waiter left, another waiter took over who completely ignored us and never came to check on us. Also, when we had our meals boxed up, the waiter that boxed them threw out some of the dishes, which we later realized when we got home. Overall, everything was cooked perfectly and well made, however some of the customer service needs some work.

There are only a few tables outside, so don't go at a busy time if you want outdoor dining. We like the falafel in pita sandwich from here better than a few other local places we tried recently. We recommend you add as many of the following to your pita as you can: Babaganoush Hummus Tahini sauce the spicy sauce Seasoned waffle fries can help stretch the meal. We wouldn't get again: -Achilles sauce: it just tastes like yogurt mixed with garlic. -The falafel plate. It doesn't come with pita, so I ordered pitas and extra falafel so we could make up our own sandwiches the next day. But the plate isn't as generous as I was expecting, given it costs more than the sandwich (yet doesn't include pita). We received a spoonful of babaganoush, maybe 1/4 cup of Achilles sauce and hummus, four falafel, mixed lettuce and some of the pickles, chopped tomato & cucumber, plus turmeric rice. I didn't see any sign of the coleslaw or amba sauce that were supposed to be included, and overall it's just somewhat underwhelming. Next time I want to make up my own sandwiches I will get individual containers of my favorite sauces instead of the plate.
