Stopped by here yesterday after reading all the rave reviews. Sandwich shop in middle of nowhere mini strip mall in part of Gardena that I never visit. The decor of shop is a bit dated, but the sandwiches live up to the hype. I ordered the Cajun turkey - fresh soft bread, slightly spicey sauce and tasty meat. Def recommend. The staff here are also all very friendly, even after the lunch rush when they made sandwiches for like 30 mins straight. It's a family owned spot and they do a great job to welcome customers...keep it up! I must admit I have a crush on one of the workers here, but I imagine I'm not the only one. This place is absolutely amazing. You can either pick a signature sandwich or have it made your way. Upon entering David introduced himself, shook my hand and explained the process. From there I chose to create my own sandwich. Mike took it from there and made the most delicious sandwich and even suggested that I allow him to toast my bread slightly for better flavor. The bread, produce, and deli meat is so fresh and high quality. I don't think just one thing makes a sandwich but the ingredients combined make for a great sandwich and this place is just that. The owner takes pride in quality food. The second thing I really like is their great customer service. Everyone is so friendly and high energy. Had to walk my 6 month old out while my wife ordered inside because it was just too loud. I didn't ask them to lower it, but there's a point where it's so excessive as a business, that a customer shouldn't have to. Crazy good little sandwich shop!! Such a simple concept but damn they do it right- had a turkey and ham sandwich on wheat with honey mustard and mayo. Yeah I know it sounds basic but not at all. David was excellent, great customer service and was kind enough to give us frozen yogurt samples and let me try the Cajun turkey and Cajun mayo. Will be ordering that for sure next time.
