Hi i'm 14 and pretty picky so here's my review: We live right up the street from this place. it's in kenneth village really cute little shops. it's a nice healthy alternative as there is a shaved ice place next door that kids love but the fake flavors aren't for me. YOGAURT has always delivered on fun seasonal flavors as well as the classic staples. my favorite is peanut butter, pistachio, and vanilla. we come here a lot. it is a little pricey tho. would definitely recommend. read more

I LOVE their yogurt. Vegan, but you' d never know. It's creamy and light. So delicious! They have a wide variety of toppings too to put on your yogurt. They'll let you try all the flavors you want. I've been going to Yoga-urt for years. Pretty much since they opened 5 years ago. I absolutely love their soft serve, it's so smooth and delicious and every flavor is so good. It's really hard to pick a favorite. Some times it's Golden Rose, some times it's Key Lime, some times it's good ol' Chocolate Bliss. I highly recommend you start with this one. I don't even like chocolate ice cream, I always felt it wasn't chocolatey enough until I tried Yoga-urt's chocolate soft serve. It is soo chocolatey and creamy, it's beyond compare. And the house made waffle cones are just fantastic. Pro tip: get the cone, ask for magic shell on the bottom, then get chocolate and strawberry soft serve and top with more magic shell (and perhaps strawberries and brownies if you wanna get fancy), you'll love it. read more

I have gone here several times with numerous friends and I have raved about it because I'm soy, gluten and dairy free. I try to be refined sugar free as well and their greens are just that. It's nicer to go to then the Americana and there is always ample street parking near that's free. All things that are important. My kid only likes the waffle cone because she can taste the Almond Cashew base and isn't having it, so can I but I still like it. The peanut butter, caramel zen and chocolate bliss are good. What I don't like is the Yelp Check In feature. I love using loyalty cards and check ins, but if the owner rings you up, you don't really get the check in. When I check in with her employees I get the 20% off my purchase and that's great. The last 2 times I was in I did the Yelp check in with the owner and received 2% off the most expensive item I ordered or something along those lines. My total went from $10.63 to $10.30- that's not 20%. The time before that was a bit better but not what I get when her employees ring us up. I'm cool with no check in as well, but if it's available honor it because I will use it. read more

The one star review is on customer service (or lack thereof). The woman who served me today was cold, standoffish and behaved rather oddly for someone at the front of the house. MY FAVORITE ICE CREAM PLACE OF ALL TIME!!!!!!! Literally everyone needs to go here because it's BETTER than dairy ice cream in EVERY WAY! I've been vegan for over a year and a half now and this is the closest thing to creamy nicely sweetened ice cream/soft serve you can get. I love that it's almond and cashew based instead of coconut or soy (both of which I don't like) Great portions! The mini cup looks tiny, but they pack it in! I love getting all three swirls so i can try all the flavors and have more options. Lavender and strawberry, chocolate and peanut butter, and vanilla with pumpkin spice for the first time I went and it was mind blowing good. Have to agree with another reviewer, yes it's pricey but once you try it you'll be sold! I can't have dairy, but even my dairy loving family loves this place. Their peanut butter, and lavender flavors are the bomb dot com!! I usually go here for the froyo though - I tried a PB shake once and it was ok, but definitely something you could get almost anywhere else. Haven't tried anything else besides that so maybe I'll give their ice cream sandwich a try sometime. The workers are also really nice. If you're ever wondering about their flavors, you can go to their Instagram, they post daily updates. Do keep in mind that if you're doing pickup during COVID, they may take a while. I wish they had a better system since ordering online gives you limited options (you can't pick more than one flavor) and calling over the phone can get pretty hectic. The Glendale store also seems to be a little more organized than the Echo Park store. read more

I've lived in this area my entire life and I remember when this very place was Meyer's Coffee Shop. It has now been transformed into an amazing little frozen yogurt place, and it's right up my alley because I am lactose intolerant. Upon taking a break from Girl Scout Cookie sales on a Sunday afternoon, my daughter asked if we could get some frozen yogurt and I remembered that this little place was here, so we stopped. The employees here are very nice and know all the ins and outs of their products. I really liked hearing that they make everything in house. I ordered myself an iced coffee with almond milk, they had agave for natural sweetening, and I had never tried it until that day, it is a great alternative to sweetening your drinks. My 5 year old wanted the vanilla, but they didn't have it on hand that day, so she settled for the Strawberry Serenity with vegan gummy bears on top. I got her the smallest size that they had and she said it was very filling and very, very good. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and I believe seating in the back area as well, we sat inside because it was a warm afternoon. There is open parking on the street, and a lot across the street as well as next door to the Coffee Commissary. There is also open parking behind the businesses. My daughter has, since this visit, been asking when we will be coming back. I like how Kenneth Village has evolved. With the Coffee Commissary (that I have yet to visit still) where Chris and Tom's Liquor was for 30+ years, Mi Corazon, and now Yoga-urt, it is quite the place to visit for a nice afternoon. read more

Gosh, I'm not sure why I never got around to reviewing this wonderful establishment. I've been coming since they've opened in 2015 - although not as frequently as I'd like, as they're just so out of the way of everything (northern part of Glendale). I love that it's dedicated to organic vegan frozen yogurt - with an emphasis on probiotics. Which sounds like it takes all the fun out of dessert guilt. The contrary. All of this goodness totally amplifies the experience because it is so rich and heavy - it just makes everything else inferior. This is my absolute favorite place for a frozen treat. The flavors are just so spot on and delicious! My favorite is the lavender blossom... but I also adore maple banana pancake, blueberry, pumpkin spice, mango, strawberry, Thai iced tea, and so many more! My boyfriend is addicted to the peanut butter. They do rotate flavors, so keep that in mind. Chocolate and peanut butter seem to be staples, but the other flavors come and go on rotation... a lot of which are seasonally based. Yoga-Urt updates their Instagram stories daily to say what flavors they have at both locations, so check there - or call the store to ask what they have before going. I saw some reviews where people got mad about that... but the business website says "rotating flavors" right on it, so the business cannot be blamed for someone not actually reading before going. They do a good job of telling you what they have if you take a second to look it up. For toppings... I highly recommend giving the dried mulberries a try! They are my favorite! Their fudge and magic shell are also wonderful. Enjoy! Curbside during COVID works really well. If they are busy, just be patient. I tried the peach and it tasted nothing like peach. I'd rather go to menchies quite honestly. For the price and limited flavors and toppings I don't think this place is worth it. This Autumn the seasonal flavor is a good balance of pumpkin & spice. Only two downsides: this store is a bit off the beaten path & can get cramped quickly if they're busy. Other is the price point is a bit more than your average soft serve place but I imagine that's because the quality is so high. Plus, it's a filling dessert, not a bunch of aired up empty calories. Even their mini sized bowl is almost too much for me-I just have to avoid the temptation to get more than I need. There are flavors that we definitely prefer but overall... how can anyone in their right mind ever complain about the flavors or texture?! So freaking good!!! I do wish for a few things though... and I hope Melissa, the owner, reads this: (#1) I wish tantric tart was a flavor that was available all the time (at least in pints) (#2) I wish we received stamps for each item rather than each visit... I average between $20-30 each visit and there is 1 particular employee who is quite snippy and stingy about the stamp cards and blames the owner saying that they will get in big trouble by Melissa... I've met Melissa, she's delightful... I doubt she would say that. That's it! No other complaints... everything else is perfect!
