This is the closest Yogurtland I live near so I've been here twice in the past week. I don't know why but I have froyo cravings at night. On the other hand I MUST give props to the VENICE BLVD STORE as it is one of the best around I have found... Clean floors and machinery are very obvious and beyond compare to other stores. Both Jennifer and Julissa have been our cashier/helpers on numerous occations and they most deservedly need to be thanked on here. Perhaps a raise, bonus, and vacation for 2 are in order for both of these gals. They charged 65c per oz and recently raised to 67c per oz... well worth it....I strongly suggest this store for satisfaction on all levels.... I took a group of 14 to this location. Parking is abundant and free! The store is clean and well run. A fair amount of seating, but it's indoor seating only. I'm pretty sure all of you know Yogurtland, so I won't go on and on about the yogurt. It's good yogurt. I'm taking one star off because they didn't have three of my favorite flavors: peanut butter, caramel, and rootbeer. The toppings were well-stocked and the variety was excellent. The service was terrific. Big shout out to Jerusalem. She was super helpful. We were bringing some yogurt back home, but eating ours there. Jerusalem put it in the freezer for us until we were ready to go so we wouldn't go home with liquid yogurt. Nice job Jerusalem!! We rang up a tab of $142.23. They have a rewards program. Cant ever go wrong with Yogurtland! If you're looking for flavor and toppings, this is the spot. Nothing too fancy about it but its a safe tasting place to come grab some yogurt on the go or for sit it. They always have about 6-7 flavors and always coming up with more ways to get your taste buds going. The toppings always seem fresh and creative. The interior design is always fun, busy at times of course specially is this California weather but never takes to long to get your fix of yogurt. There is seating inside and outside for all customers, parking can be challenging at times but there is plenty of it around. This store stays pretty clean and the staff is pretty friendly as well. At this yogurtland it wasn't a waste it a drive. I tried their new smoothie bowl and let me just say that it was real good. I ate it with no toppings to really get a sense of the flavors and smoothie bowl. After i was done I needed one for the road so I got a regular tart yogurt with gummy bears and captain crunch, a must have combo. Anyways I will be coming to this yogurtland from now. Lily rudely exclaimed that "they have been putting everything away for an hour" and that "they were closed". When I pointed to the fact that online and the door it stated that they were still open, she rolled her eyes and told me "that I needed to leave now". I have been coming to this location for more than 5 years and I am completely appalled. Came in here about 8:55 pm today and my daughter had to use the restroom the person working Abigail kindly said no because they were going to clean and close the restroom for the night. I asked her what time they closed and she said 10 pm. It wasn't even 9 yet when my kid asked to use the restroom. I let her know it was 9:58 to be exact and she informed me they close the restrooms at 9. She also said she was following the rules that the kitchen staff and her manager Christa gave her. I didn't even have time to get my own yogurt because my daughter had to use the restroom badly so I left with only one for her. It's ridiculous my daughter had to pee herself because this young employee was "following the rules" of closing the restroom before 9pm although this Yogurtland closes at 10. Not one of the Best YogurtLands I have been to, but It's across the street and with these hot days we have been having lately and even hotter inside...it's great to have a really tasty treat! With that said, I won't complain...much. My only complaint with this location is just that it's a bit small, and always crowded with only 2 cash registers (and usually only one clerk work the register and the other in the back room). I don't think I have seen more than 3 employees working at a time but then again, there may be more in the back room. This Yogurtland has only been open for a couple of weeks, and the summer has been pretty hot so I'm sure the store will improve more over time. Their Strawberry Water is also a nice refreshing treat just to get away from the heat. Also, I do like the fact that no matter how crowded and busy they are, the line goes by pretty fast. The location is for the most part well maintained and pretty clean (though the trash cans are usually full and I would suggest them maybe put another one). I just hope that this location does well and doesn't close their doors like the Cold Stone that used next door to the Panda Express/Star Bucks at the next shopping center over on Pico Blvd next the Bus Station. read more
