The staff was nice and friendly. The place is catered to social distancing which is nice since that darn covid keeps coming back. There are plenty of frozen yogurt options. So far my favorite is the toasted coconut, second best is probably pistachio. & finally, the Dutch chocolate. I like adding just a bit of the toppings as it's hard to pair specific tastes to the yogurt. The reason for the 4 stars was the tables were that clean. This is such a fun outing with the kids. They can practice their independence with the easy to use self serve froyo. Lots of fun flavors to choose from and toppings galore. They are very clean, wiping down often. They have hand sanitizer and disposable gloves to use for customers. Water station and gender neutral bathrooms. Inside and outside seating. This place has always been so clean. Very well kept up. Why the one star? Because the owner apparently does not want customers to use the restroom. I've been coming here for years and one constant feature is the restroom is always out of order. Now why would that be? Is there some mysterious perpetual problem with the toilet? Or does the owner want people to just buy yogurt and leave and not create more work for their employees? You be the judge but until further evidence, the latter is my conclusion. Update: Fixed! First time I was trying out this place. I must say I am super impressed. It was an unplanned visit. The store is very clean and maintained so well. You pick the cup and go to the vending station to pick your flavors. There are sign boards of every flavors. once done head over to the toppings and then to cashier to checkout. Smooth. There was hardly a line when I walked in. the staffs were friendly. There were a few tables available in case you want to enjoy the yogurt there itself. They have kept the hand sanitizers as well. I have been going to Yogurtland as long as it has been open. Is it just me or do you love when it's your birthday and you receive a message in your email inbox Wishing you a Happy Birthday and a free cup of from at one of your favorite places. Well not today. I visited with my husband and I and then after choosing delicious flavors and adding our toppings and weighing our cups, I asked about my complimentary birthday treat. The young lady it didn't show in the system and I said are you sure and showed my email. The person went to ask another lady. She just did the same thing. She told us I didn't have anything in the system. My husband and I expressed that was why we were there for my birthday and she didn't care. She was callous and instead Wishing me a happy birthday instead she was just a total jerk. She was so off putting so I said then we weren't planning to get the yogurt thinking she could at least act decently and not make me feel bad because it was my birthday. Instead, she treated me and my husband like none of this mattered and made us feel like..."OK..next" So we said we didn't plan to purchase since I showed her my email and she didn't care. I asked her who her manager was and she just retorted "they will tell you the same thing." But she totally missed the point!! I was more disturbed by her entire demeanor....she was rude and off putting and had the auditicity to tell me that I had an attitude...wow what kinda customer service is that!!?? My husband and I were glad to go to a yogurtland closer to our house where we forgot about the birthday reward and just enjoyed a very pleasant customer service. We will unfortunately not be going back to Calaveras location where this specific worker is more into scolding than engaging with their customers. Adults do not wish to be scolded. In terms of the yogurt this location has more variety of frozen yogurt selection. Clean. A few people noticed that they do not provide water for their customers. If you need water then you need to buy the bottled water from them or maybe remember to bring your own!! read more

Great location! This place is always very clean and welcoming. I came in for the $5 all you can fill cup promo around 7pm and there was barely anyone there. Apparently you can't scan your rewards card for this though which doesn't really make sense, but whatever. Flavors here seem limited, but I do tend to like weirder flavors. White chocolate peppermint is DELICIOUS if you like mint, and ube is always good. The strawberry and cheesecake are very light and mild and not very flavorful. There are also a variety of toppings, but they didn't have mochi this time around :( I like that I can eat a big cup of this and not feel bloated and guilty. Excited to try more flavors! I'm surprised they didn't have anything pumpkin or maple flavored - I think that'd definitely be a draw. read more

COVID-19 update!! (because I was craving frozen yogurt recently and wished someone had told me what to expect): YES, they are open for self serve! I went on 6/16/20 and this was how the process went: the cups are at the counter and the staff hands you the exact amount of cups to limit unnecessary touching of the cups by the customers. They offer you plastic GLOVES! Wow! Great service and very considerate of customers. It is still self-serve for the frozen yogurt. However, the toppings are blocked off to the customers and the staff will help you put on the toppings that you want. This is very good for safety reasons. I love this location because the cashiers/staff are always so welcoming and nice! Flavor-wise, my friends and I all love plain tart. It is a bit on the... tart (sour)... side for those that have extreme sweet tooth, but we like it because it tastes healthier and not as overwhelmingly sweet. Mochi is a really fun option as a topping! It is chewy and mildly sweet! I also like fruits such as watermelon and strawberries to pretend like I'm being healthy! My boyfriend stumbled upon the Yogurtland website and saw that Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry Pie was the latest of the featured flavors. That was the hook that got us to go, and mind you we probably haven't been to Yogurtland in over a year. I've always found this Yogurtland to be quite the busy one. Despite the length of the line, the wait is hardly ever as long though. Customers are considerate and good about quickly adding their toppings, and the cashiers are efficient in weighing and keeping the line moving. I do find, however, that the tables and seating areas are always occupied so we have to take our orders to go. When we arrived to Yogurtland we went straight to the cashier for some sample cups. Apparently I've been sleeping on Yogurtland, because I had no idea that they now have drinks. The vanilla milkshake and coffee frap/milkshake were amazing! They were both very creamy, and I liked that they had a bit of an icy consistency. What's cool was that you could put whatever toppings on the milkshakes as you would on froyo. The milkshakes were at a starting price of $2.99. In addition to the Boysenberry Pie flavor, which was delicious by the way, another featured flavor was Chocolate Toffee Bar. It tasted exactly like a Heath Bar since it's made with it. I know that Yogurtland's specialty flavors rotate every month, but I highly recommend looking out for these two if they happen to be on the menu for the month. read more

This is always the place where I get my yogurt, their yogurt have more variety compared to yogurtland in Brokaw road. They have different type of seasonal yogurt flavor under Trolls. The interior is more spacious and feel comfortable to eat in. They also have water and napkins nearby the entrance door in case you need them. They have promotion for people who birthday on same day can get a free cup yogurt. And between 4pm-7pm, you can ask for 8oz cup from cashier for unlimited yogurt (apply for everyday). My bf and I try to get more than 8oz. You can try have more fruits or chocolate surrounded your yogurt so that you can have more than 8oz as the cup kind small. Yogurt can cover up the whole small cup. The cashier is kind nice, greeting and ask people whether need sampling cup. I'm still prefer this place more than the other one. I've always liked this Yogurtland location. My brother and I sat here, with my dog in tow. We were planning to get yogurt here after lunch next door at Mikonos. We couldn't sit inside since we had Snickers (my dog) with us. It wasn't a problem because even though Mikonos didn't have their outdoor seating setup, we sat at the Yogurtland side. My brother and I switched off dog duty as we each went to get our desserts. The very kind person working there asked about Snickers. Her name was Heather and I could tell she probably had her own dog too. I think she was the owner? Either way, she was so kind. She had me play the price guessing game, which I didn't win of course because I'm terrible at it. But it was nice of her to ask about Snickers. I also love that the strawberries and watermelon were all fresh cut. There are a ton of yogurt flavors and toppings here, which is great. I also love how clean it is. This store is so clean and the employees are incredibly helpful all the time. I especially love coming when the manager is working in the morning. I wanted to get some dessert after eating sushi across the street but I witnessed a customer who did not want to pay with a violent intention to harm the girls, and the employee defended herself though it escalated to a bigger problem. She was threatening and name-calling the employees stupid b****s and other horrific words. I tried to intervene but I was fearful for myself because of that dangerous customer with her boyfriend. I was also debating on calling 911, I only hoped my husband was there to stop the situation. I sat outside the store to make sure everything was fine. The employees handled the situation as best as they could and I feel so weak that I was just a bystander. But I genuinely believe that customer was on drugs because she kicked and threw the garbage. I spoke to an employee before I left and confirmed if there would be anyone here to watch them while closing up because it is 10:30 at night and I imagined my daughter in this situation, and they claimed her boyfriend and father would be outside waiting. She also asked me kindly if I have the time to leave a review for their defense, and of course I agreed. Definitely need some security in this plaza because this is not the first time I've seen dangerous, homeless people in the area. It is not a safe place for two or three young girls to be working at in the middle of the night. That young girl who had a violent behavior against the employees is just right under mine. I do not feel happy that I was a bystander because I have young daughters myself and this is the best I could do because I love my local Yogurtland. read more

Yogurtland is definitely one of the better froyo places that have popped up in this almost cult following of frozen yogurt. Don't get me wrong, I love me some froyo but 85% of these yogurt shops do a half-ass job and pose as quality froyo shops and I am tired of having to weed them all out. Anyways Yogurtland is cool in my book through for having good quality froyo and toppings and at 32cents? (Was 30) an ounce?? Can't beat it. This Yogurtland specifically gets props though for having a good array of flavors and excellent customer service. I will say that they should do a more regular job of cleaning. We hit this place once a week (go probiotics!). It is clean and the owners are nice and give you sample cups when you ask. My favorite has been mango and classic tart. Matcha and espresso were my fave but those are not regulars. They now have milkshakes at yogurtland for $3/cup with unlimited toppings. Vanilla is ok but I love the coffee flavored milk shake which is pretty strong too. Too bad we can't mix milkshake with yogurt since that would be ideal but for now its a great deal and yogurt is $0.54/oz so you can get a little of both if you wanted.
