I had a very disappointing experience at this location. Honestly, this restaurant needs new management. The manager, Carrie, was very unprofessional and the restaurant overall seemed very disorganized. After placing my order, I noticed a poster on the wall advertising a deal for a drink plus a side for $3.50. I went back to the register to ask about it, and the employee told me the deal only applied when ordering one of the combos. I explained that I had ordered a combo and showed my receipt. She then said she didn't think she could apply it anymore but would ask her manager. The manager came over and told me they could not honor the deal because I had already completed my purchase, and that processing a refund would somehow affect the employee. She said I could still purchase the items separately, but at a different price. At that point, I decided to just buy the drink separately. After paying, I went to get my drink and noticed the Pepsi machine was empty. I informed the manager, and she responded that someone would check it "right now." About 10 minutes passed and nobody came. I went back again and politely let her know I was still waiting, and her response was, "Well, you're going to have to wait because we are not going to do it right now." At that point, I requested a refund for the drink, and even that was handled rudely. Honestly, I should have requested a refund for the food as well because it was cold and ended up being thrown away. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and unfortunately I will not be returning to this location again.

The rice were undercooked and were not proportionate to the meat given. The Tokyo fried chicken were overcooked and some pieces were burned. This was the first time in this location that the gyudon beef bowl felt a little off. The kid's meal were made perfectly though. The kids meal came with beverage and dessert of your choice. The service was decent though the location can be a bit more attentive to cleanliness. A lot of the cloths in the booth were worn down and torn.

Floor dirty not swept. There was more behind me and to my right.

This place should be SHUT DOWN!!! The owners of THIS SPECIFIC Yoshinoya location should be EMBARRASSED to be running such a dump. This place is so cold inside, ABSOLUTELY FILTHY, and the menu is like 15 feet behind the counter w SUCH SMALL images for the pictures w really no explanation. Cold inside when it's raining outside, floors filthy everywhere, but what REALLY got me grossed out and gave me the ick's, were the stains of dirt and oil on the seating benches. I have posted images for you to see for yourself. To the owner of this Yoshinoya, I'd like to let you know that I have changed my review from a 1 Star, to a 2 Star because the shrimp tempura was actually good. If you do read this, maybe take a step inside your location and have a walk around. The employees only started cleaning up and sweeping after seeing me take pictures of your place. I don't ever really write negative reviews, but I felt that if this was MY restaurant, that was ran with little to no management, I would like to know what is being said about it and how and where it can improve. This is my review and I welcome you to reach out to me to further discuss THIS review if you'd like?! I really hope this review was and is helpful to not only the owner(s) of this Yoshinoya, but its patrons as well. Before you try reaching out to me, business owner, this was on Thursday April 17 at around 1:30 pm and you guys fell way more than short. And you can see from the pictures on what I ordered. JUST as I expected. A GENERIC automated response from the owner. How about you REALLY take some time to reach out and make this worth more of my time to reply back???

After visiting Cinnaholic to get a couple Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls for my daughters, I was hungry as I haven't eaten all day. I was in the area and happened to see Yoshinoya at a corner of a small plaza. I haven't had Yoshi* in a long time so why not. Drove on over, parked my car, and walked right in. It's quite a spacious Yoshi*. There was only one gentleman in front of me waiting in line. The lady behind the register was packaging orders. I don't know if she saw us or not, but we waited several minutes until we were noticed. Anyway, she took our orders fairly quickly. I have recently lost my voice so I had to write down my ordering script LOL. I handed her a piece of paper and she read it. 1 Grilled Teriyaki Salmon Bowl order was received. Thank you! The wait wasn't too long. They were slightly busy, but nothing crazy. I decided to sit down and eat in. I was surprised to see the salmon filet to be of good size for a $10.29 bowl. It came with veggies and white rice which I enjoyed very much. Teriyaki sauce was on top of the salmon... I'll ask for it on the side next time... I don't care for too much sauce in general. Salmon wasn't bad, but it could have been more tender and juicy. Bowl was perfect for me! My go-to is usually their Teriyaki Chicken Plate, but now that they have Grilled Teriyaki Salmon, I have found my new go-to. However, I may switch between the two of them. I'll have to ask if they can do half chicken and half salmon. That would be awesome if they did. They also have expanded their menu items like Tokyo Fried Chicken and Boba drinks... something new to try out next time. Don't know if I'll be back to this Yoshi*, but if I happen to be in the area and I'm craving Yoshi, I'll be come back here.

Holy Nostalgia! Lol. yoshinoya was one of my favourite joints as a teenager. I do believe it may be the ginger and chili powder that I loved though. I admit yoshinoya is a weird thing to like and is probably an acquired taste but I like to have it every once in a while. Service was great, the girl working the register was super sweet and generous with the ginger and chili. Got our food real fast too. There was lots of seating but doesn't actually look like anyone eats here.

Anyway... After perusing through the menu, which had quite a few blacked out items (black tape applied over the menu item) we both decided on the Tonkatsu Spicy Black Ramen Noodles as well a the Crispy Fried Rice appetizer... the appetizer was delivered but I had to request some small individual plates so that we could eat off of our own plate, rather than reaching over trying to share the same plate and making a mess on the table... no worries, small oversight (or so I thought at the time)... Next came the Ramen... Looked very appetizing, but again I had to get up and request a couple of soup spoons... went to dig in, and while the bottom of the bowl was warm, the broth itself was quite cold... after calling over the waitress and asking them to please reheat (even if they had to use the microwave)... the waitress took it back to the "open" kitchen and they used the microwave to reheat... The bowls were returned and as we started to eat, satisfied that the broth was indeed hot, we noticed a couple of items missing: the corn - no corn in the broth like it was described... in addition to that, no Wood Eared Mushrooms were in the broth either... the wood eared mushrooms set the "black" apart from the standard ramen and cost $.50 more per serving... when questioned about it, the hostess informed us that they didn't have any mushrooms... as a consolation, she offered us one of the "extra price" toppings in place if it... we opted for the tofu... a bowl of tofu pieces came out and although they appeared to have steam coming off of it, the tofu was cold as well... smh... The hostess returned them to to kitchen to be reheated... We received a 10% discount ($4.90 of of a $49 bill)... Not sure if they're going to make it with this level of service and food quality... Good Luck!

Honestly, I ate the appetizers way too fast for my own good. I didn't even have a chance to take a picture of them. We ordered: fried squid legs, takoyaki, fried soft shell crab, jalapeno poppers, miso soup, and baked mussels. I mean yes of course we ordered the sushi and sushi rolls, but to be honest I feel like a sushi place has to have good apps for it to make me think it's good!! For the sushi, the rice portion was fair! Additionally all the fish we ordered was very fresh. We also were offered carpaccios on the menu. So delicious. Very cool to have a Mexican Japanese fusion with sushi! The avocado sauce that topped some of the dishes was super delicious! One of the things I did not like were the salads. The pictures of the salad were a little misleading. I ordered avocado salad and it was pictured as like 2 avocados sliced on a bed of lettuce but when received it, there was actually a lot of salad and only 3 slices of avocado. The service was really fast! They responded quick to our needs and requests. We were part of the first group of customers and I was worried the staff would have been overwhelmed with way too many orders at the very start of the day, however it was really swift and organized. The restaurant is super clean and there really is a lot of space in between the chairs and tables. I always have a bit of a complaint when the restaurant feels crowded but this one is perfectly spaced. I don't have any complaints for the interior. Parking is also very easy! Spacious and lots of spots! Price was very fair. Lunch special pricing is $30 a person and kids are charged by height. Parties of 5 of more have an auto gratuity.

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

They have an impressive menu, very diverse. I like that you can order either large sushi rolls, or the smaller, Happy Hour, 5 pc. size so you can try more and not hate yourself as much when you waddle out the door. The rolls are beautifully made, made with very fresh ingredients, the ratio of rice to filling is perfect (i.e. not too much rice), and the rice is nicely flavored. Their tempura has great flavor, the poke salad is outstanding, the miso soup is rich, not watered down, but the biggest "prize" IMHO is the fish collar (kama), either salmon or hamachi. Here is where you separate the men from the boys. They do not sell old kama that has come from a food supplier's bag, frozen. They only use fresh, the same quality as their sushi, because it comes from the same whole fish they have selected to filet for sushi. Taste it and you know you have hit the jackpot. Before they broil it, they simply slather Japanese mayo on it and salt & pepper. There is something about the mayo that makes it sing a whole new tune. The kama is moist, tender, and comes with their tasty, house ponzu sauce. It's a real treat. Bonus points for being very reasonably priced relative to other sushi houses and they tend to be larger as well. To take advantage of the Happy Hour menu, it is available every day of the week. Monday through Thursday until 7pm, Friday through Sunday until 5 pm. It's an abbreviated menu but has great choices, fairly priced. Their service is tops, seating is limited (probably not more than 40), the interior is warm and quaint, and parking is no problem. And don't forget to respond to their friendly farewell with a duplicate, heartfelt "See you tomorrow" as you leave! Enjoy!
