Food was terrible service was abusive by female behind counter yelling at my boyfriend. Then he gets home with a cold pizza and messed up in the box. Very unprofessional and rude female. I wish he would have gotten her name.

Let's face it...the HOT HONEY topping you get to drizzle on your pizza is the singular reason I choose YOUR PIE. To get my delicious cauliflower crust, no cheese, vegan sausage pesto pizza and NOT have Hot Honey was a buzz kill!! And to know Harris Teeter is next door (and they sell Hot Honey) and they STILL don't have Hot Honey here was a disappointment.

We will not be ordering online again, going in to order in future seems like the thing to do here. The pizza was dry w/no cheese. After a quick run to the grocery store... We were able to revive dinner with some marinara sauce & mozzarella cheese. After a little rebaking, it was great! I had called to speak with a Manager & was very impressed by the care to correct & keep our business. This was a hiccup but we will try again another time.

I stopped in for a quick to go order for lunch. I work on the base and it's convenient if you come out of gate 22 or gate 4. The staff were very friendly and promptly let me know they didn't have fresh peaches. That really did stink cause this time of year their peach prosciutto pizza is so delicious. This pizza is good and fresh and on Mondays they do discount 20 percent off for military/first responders.

It's a nice spot for lunch, they do offer ordering ahead online which is easy. They do offer beer which would also make it a great spot to go after work and relax. The pizzas are delicious and they offer a lot of options for any combination you like.

Enjoyed my $10 custom crafted chopped salad, when it arrived, on the outdoor patio with craft beer and a few buddies. Yelp check-in = free gelato that I took home to my wife! #ThanksYelp. Salad was good, as expected since I concocted it. Consisted of spinach, green peppers, banana peppers, artichokes, pesto, sundried tomatoes, and basil. Aside from hit/miss customer service from teen employees, my main gripe happened after paying for my order. Instead of walking away with my food, I received an order number (on a stand) so I could be made to go sit and wait for the salad to be delivered - the same one I just saw being made as I walked down the order line to assemble it. Weird. Decent selection of draft craft beer with 16o, 32o and pitchers available. They offer a weekday happy hour between 2-5p: 1 topping 10" pizza, 12oz draft beer or glass of wine for $3.14. Sounds like a bargain, especially if I came with my entire family of 6. Plenty of parking in the shared lot. Restroom (gender specific) was clean and well stocked. 2 HDTVs were showing MLB baseball games. New generation self-serve coke machine was down.

Love the pizzas! I love that you can build your own personal pizza. There are lots of topping options and the price is great! Like 10$ or less for one. It takes like 7 minutes to makes or less and you'll be out of there. The crust is amazing and just the right amount of thickness. Kind of like a thinner crust. Feels healthy while eating it! They also have Hazy Like a Fox on draft. It's from New Relm Brewing. I got the pecan gelato and wow.... So creamy and delicious. Over all my husband and I were very satisfied. We got beer, pizza, and dessert for under $40. Great deal. Customer service was good. One of the gentleman there was really nice. I felt bad for them because it's so hot in there from the oven and with masks these days it's annoying. They are troopers!!! We will be back :) Thanks for all you do!

What a great hour.....for Happy Hour!!! 3.14 for a pizza!!! This was my first time eating here and it was very delicious!!! During happy hour you can get a pizza with one topping. I got the spinach pizza and it was great! The service was great and efficient.

Disappointment in a recent order purchased from the Your Pie Pizza located at 7550 Granby St. This is one of those situations that make you madder on other levels. I ordered a pizza to go and I am sure like many of you the way you feel and see that your order is basically inedible. I got home and I should have checked in the restaurant but the pizza was completely burned. Usually service is great but this time the pizza was not up to the usual standards. Don't believe me check the picture yourself. Once I got home and opened the box to see the pizza I was tired and I knew I was not going to go back out. I contacted the restaurant but nothing heard about my issue. Some may say I should have checked my pizza but is it at a point where you need to check everything a person does? Here I am letting you know that I guess it is good to check your pizzas before leaving. Hopefully this is just a one off but a little attention to detail would have helped in this situation.

So we ordered the spicy pepperoni that many reviewers mentioned. Glad we did. When we arrived, we saw the front parking to be full. Fortunately, I looked at the Google Maps aerial view and saw the parking lot behind the pizzeria. We accessed the lot via an alleyway just past the pizzeria. The pizzeria is small. Has some seating but is more suited for takeaway orders. We got the pizza to go. When we opened the box, we were pleasantly surprised by how big the pizza was. Each of the six slices was about the size of some personal pizzas. The sauce & pepperonis were nice & spicy. The pizza was dotted with dabs of creamy ricotta cheese. Nice counterpoint to the spiciness. Fresh basil leaves added some flavour and looks. The crust was thin and delicious. Well worth the $22 price. We'll come back for the pizza whenever we're in Norfolk.

I expected them to be a little larger, but they were hot and had lots of sauce to dip our bread in. The pizza was what we came for, and it did not disappoint. The crust was chewy and a bit charred on the bottom. It was not oily at all. Which I absolutely love. The ingredients were fresh, and it came out in a timely manner. They had a large variety of drinks, but all of them were in cans in a cooler. They also provide a pitcher of water at your table. And they come with a bar, if you're feeling a drink too. They have outdoor seating that is heated in the winter seasons. And the place is equipped with TVs to watch sports. I've been to Cogan's before (twice). And in all the times I've gone I've had a pizza every time. Since I'm no pizza connoisseur, I can say that at least for the likes of me, the pizza is alright and tasty enough to eat. Though I reckon pizza afficionados might have a lot to nitpick. Cons: Typically the environment can get quite crowded. Since it's a pizza/bar, it can get packed and loud especially on the weekends and late at night. It was also incredibly loud not because there were a lot of people but because a staff member behind the bar was yelling his lungs out reacting to a football game. Since the restaurant only had a few customers, his voice stood out and at times it was incredibly startling and piercing considering how loud the music already was. I typically would not mark off for this considering that this place is made to be loud and lively, but if you're somehow sound sensitive, this might not be the place for you. The waters we got had a musty aftertaste, and we couldn't tell if it was from the water source or the cups themselves. Surprisingly, even though I'm not picky with my pizzas, I had a bone to pick with their pizza today. We ordered the Pirate's Booty, described to contain the ff ingredients: "Pepperoni, ground sausage, salami, green peppers, red onions, black olives, mushrooms, extra sauce and extra cheese - ARGH!" So tell me why my fiancé ate a whole clove of garlic? Not just that, he also ate tooth-breaking, hard as rocks black olive pits added as toppings to our pizza as shown in the below pictures. This is incredibly dangerous for people with brittle teeth so proceed with caution if you plan ordering any pizzas with olives here. I also noticed the veggie toppings were definitely added after the dough was baked with the sauce and some meats. There was no char to them so we had raw onions and peppers. They didn't even melt into the cheese and it was a pain to eat. Not to mention the pizza was also really wet. Not a greasy good kind, but watery bad kind. I even had multiple layers of big onion slices slapped on my pizza slice. And the mushrooms were definitely old. Some of them had a fishy after-taste and you can see the blemishes on them. We may have just been really unlucky tonight!

This is THE spot for locals in the Portsmouth area. It's no surprise you see reviews from patrons who drive from all over the Hampton Roads area to visit this gem! Service is so friendly and you can tell it is a TEAM! I sat at the bar so got to watch the open kitchen in action. Their system is down pat and you can tell everyone enjoys working with each other. Each dish I watched from prep to service was handled with meticulous care. PRIDE IN WORK AT ITS FINEST! Everyone works to serve you as a team as well, no worry about "bothering" another member of the staff for something, everyone wants you to enjoy your meal. I can tell there are a lot of local regulars as the staff was engaged on a level you only see when your clientele is consistent and have a vested interest in the success of the business. I've been to 16 countries and travelled all over the states, this is truly one of the most friendly establishments I've had the pleasure of being hosted at. On to the food! I see a few people complain about the small menu, that is the SMARTEST thing a business can do. Focus on what you're good at and demolish the competition. High Street Pizza and Pour delivers on this. My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ordered the meatballs, the special for their pizza pie of the night (a pork belly, red onion, jalapeño, bbq drizzle dream boat of a pie), a tiramisu and two cocktails. The food in pictures looked smaller than in person... omg I ordered for about 4-5 people! But everyone was soooo good. Meatballs were tender with a fantastic red sauce. Pizza had a crispy buttery crust and the pork belly was rendered perfectly. Tiramisu was fantastic (not sure if that's an in house make or pre done, but it was on point), and the cocktails were perfectly poured with just the right amount of liquor. I left with probably two meals worth of takeout the portions were so large and I can't wait until I'm hungry again. I'm new to the neighborhood and as everyone knows, you need to find your fav local spot to frequent. I'm proud to report, High Street Pizza and Pour House has just taken that spot!

It's my own fault. Being a vegan in a world where eateries are not always vegan friendly, I have to…read moredo a lot of research before I even go to a restaurant. And I didn't do enough research about High Street Pizza, I guess. I always check the menu before I even leave the house when going out to eat. I look for vegan friendly items, and sometimes I call to confirm. The exception is PIZZA. Whenever my not-vegan husband and I decide on pizza, I already know I can customize any pizza with veggies instead of meat and cheese. It was date night Thursday, and High Street Pizza had awesome reviews. I did the "vegan thing" and checked the menu first. I found a lot of vegetable toppings, so I knew I could craft a pizza to my liking. We drove from Va Beach to Portsmouth for dinner. I learned that I cannot craft a pizza with no meat and cheese because High Street Pizza will not make a pizza without cheese. I had no idea you can't just take cheese off of pizza. I do it all the time at other pizza places, but the pizza here must be constructed with cheese. I was told I could get vegan cheese, but I didn't want that. Option 2-order a salad. I opted for the Greek Salad, hold the feta. And since the menu said it came with a red wine vinaigrette dressing, I could eat that instead. After placing our orders, the waitress returned and informed me the red wine vinaigrette was made with mayonnaise at High Street Pizza. The very name of the dressing is a list of the ingredients: Red wine Vinegar How does MAYONNAISE get in there? I even Googled it to make sure I wasn't getting it confused: extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, mustard, oregano, and salt Of course, the dressing can be altered to be "creamy". And yes, there is a CREAMY red wine vinaigrette. But that's not what the menu said. High Street Pizza listed the dressing as just "red wine vinaigrette." I didn't eat anything that evening, but my husband loved every morsel of his sausage and mushroom pie, however. He even said it was one of the best pizzas he ever had! In their defense, High Street Pizza doesn't tout themselves as a vegan friendly restaurant. I am not disappointed about the pizza because my choice not to eat vegan cheese is my preference. They tried to offer an alternative, I chose not to opt for the cheese alternative. Consider listing your salad dressing as "creamy red wine vinaigrette" though. It makes a huge difference leaving the word out.
