Interesting, I didn't know there was a Yum Yum Donuts here. I know of the Alberto's next door, but how did I miss the Yum Yum?! Anyhow, the donuts looked amazing. Bright lights caught my eyes off of Main Street, while I was turning onto Fremont Avenue. However, the donuts was not too fresh. It was probably over a day old, and peeking into into its second day. I mainly order glazed and the glazed twisting donuts, along with a couple of chocolate bars. It was around $14.00 for a dozen, and $7.00 for half. Knowing there was no deals going on, I bought six. The donuts was good, but did not have the freshly baked taste. The glaze was already flaking off, so I immediately knew it was not barely made. No offense, I understand donuts cannot be made around the clock. And they are usually made during the weird hours of the morning while people are sleeping. The variety was there. Plenty to choose from. Lots of icing and candied donuts available, along with other rolls and fritters. I just wished it was fresher! I'll give it another try soon.

COVID times: Still open 24hours. Takes credit card. Staff wears mask. Monday 11pm experience: Must know Spanish, extremely limited English spoken. Take out/walk up window isn't open (but would be perfect for COVID times!). Just walk in to order and pay. If you have any food allergies, don't brother coming if you need certainty. English understood: How much? 6 Mini donuts for $3. Is there any dairy (leche) in anything? No. (clearly not correct answer). Prices: Donut for $1.29. Bag of empanada Chips with sugar $1.69. 6 Mini donuts for $3. Located next to Super Albert Mexican food to go. Free parking lot.

Post run treat. All about the mini donuts

I'll keep coming back just for the mini donuts! I knew there was a Yum Yum location in the area but had never stopped in. I don't regularly stop for donute but I wanted to make a donut tower for my fiance's birthday instead of a traditional cake. Initially intending on full size donuts, I quickly adjusted my plan when I saw they had brightly decoriate mini donuts. Everyone is sucker for anything mini right?! So cute. A perfect substitution for a cake. Pricing is reasonable. They offer numerous food items like sandwiches, breakfast foods, coffee, smoothies etc. They also sell loafs of freshly baked breads. The parking lot is shared but never full so you can easily make a quick trip. I've been back at least twice. Each time I was helped by a different person. Employees are nice. Friendly and fast service. The donut shop is located conveniently next to a yummy Mexican spot we frequent. Can you say dinner and dessert to go! Bonus: They are open 24 hours.

I had my fair shares of donut shops but not like this one. There are SO MANY CHOICES!! Forget the donut holes, they got baby size donuts with different flavors, a variety of donut flavors and they are fully stocked! They even got bunuelos (cinnamon sugar tortilla chips), yum! But wait, there is more! They even got bagel breakfast sandwiches too! Unsure if it is a good thing or bad its a bit out of my way as I will probably be gaining a lot of weight and some cavities along the way. My only downfall is knowing the location, it is not the cleaning or spacious donut house. While I was there, there is a unstable person babbling in one of the tables there. He wasn't harmful but he was definitely on something from his speech, words and demeanor. May be a bit creepy to some. I could say, it may seem like a corner joint but sad to admit, those are the best joints. Another negative is me seeing the lady who was making my bagel who added scrambled egg mix into a small plastic to go bowl and them popped it into the microwave. Interest to add, that was an interesting idea and why did I not ever think of that? I did not care for the plastic in the microwave and try not to make a big deal is this is a donut shop after all and not Einstein's bagel you know, so I can't really compare or complain. I am just happy already with all the selections they had! The girl who served me was super sweet and soft spoken, we exchanged eye contact aware of the crazy man in their store who wouldn't stop trying to spike a conversation with me and I can tell she felt bad for me. TLDR: Lots of selections. Always fully stocked. A mom and pop like hole in the wall (creepy a bit dirty but the best places) and Opens 24hrs!! Friendly services. Plenty of parking in the back also!

Drinks from our combos. Would have taken it with my sandwich, but my husband and I got hungry.

The coffee was well-made - it wasn't burnt, overly bitter, or sour, so the extraction seemed solid. However, the flavor felt flat and watered down. It lacked the aroma, body, and rich roasted notes that make a cup memorable. Nothing really stood out, leaving it tasting more diluted than satisfying. Also, I don't think the barista could froth the coffee well. Instead of a nice velvety, dense froth, the froth was a bubbly foam (see photo). Food - 3/5. I visited around 9 a.m., but the pastry selection was surprisingly limited (see photo). The pastries also didn't taste particularly fresh; they had more of the texture and flavor you'd expect from pastries sitting out later in the day rather than freshly baked items you'd hope to find early in the morning. The café has a modern, hip vibe and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's spacious, with plenty of seating, making it a pleasant place to spend some time. Overall, Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab is a fine neighborhood café if you're looking for a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a coffee. Unfortunately, neither the coffee nor the food left much of an impression. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing really stood out either. While the ambiance is probably its strongest point, the coffee is just average.

They have some tables but not enough for a place to hangout to be honest. Their whole concept is pretty much a open kitchen, order and walk to the back and wait for your order. Their menu is quite extensive, from teas, boba, coffee, fruit teas, they've got it all. For first timers, they have a signature section which I think is basically their most popular drinks, they're all recommended to try. My wife and I ordered the Oreo Matcha Brulee and the Uji Matcha Latte to share, both came out pretty quickly, around 5 minutes or so. I'm a huge sucker for oreo matcha brulee type drinks and this place made it perfectly. Each sip is full of the ingredients, very refreshing, and perfect sweetness in my opinion with 30% - 60% sugar level. For first timers, I would definitely recommend trying some of their specialty signature drinks. One of my favorites from here is Or-Lichee, which is a lychee blended drink topped with fresh squeezed orange juice and aiyu jelly. It is fragrant, fruity, and refreshing. The aiyu jelly has a soft, slippery texture that melts in your mouth and adds a kick of lemon. Another drink worth mentioning is their Uji Matcha Latte, which my partner always gets. It has just the right balance of matcha and milk, so neither flavor is too overpowering. There is a slight bitterness from the matcha, with creaminess coming from the milk. Essentially, this shop has a strong menu selection with lots of good drinks to choose from. I have also enjoyed some of their other teas. The shop has a modern layout, an open kitchen, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes it a good spot to hang out at.
