So good topokki with katsu, yumee katsu in the back

Came here on a Sunday night and was seated immediately, which was a great start! The Korean guy working was so charming and welcoming, he really made us feel at home. The restaurant is small and cozy, with K-pop playing and Korean TV on in the background. It honestly felt like we were in Korea, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The menu is a dream if you're a katsu fan, with so many different options to choose from. We tried the Yumee Katsu (the OG katsu), the tteokbokki with katsu (which I had to try!), and the curry katsu. Everything was delicious. My 5yo picky eater absolutely devoured the udon (ofc w/no toppings) which is always a win! This place is super family-friendly, but it also seems like a great spot to meet up with friends with the alcohol selection. And the $1 Melona popsicles are such a fun bonus!

Yumee Katsu absolutely delivered. Everything we ordered was solid, satisfying, and genuinely delicious. The standout for me was the katsu curry. The katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender inside, and the curry was rich, flavorful, and completely addictive. I kept going back for another bite even when I was already getting full. The udon noodle soup was comforting and well-balanced, while the cold soba noodles were refreshing and nicely textured. I also loved the chewy spicy cold noodles--they had a great bite and just the right amount of spice, making them surprisingly memorable. Portions here are incredibly generous. Even after eating until I was stuffed, my plate still looked full. Definitely great value for the amount of food you get. The meal also comes with kimchi and yellow radish sides, which were the perfect complement. Their freshness and acidity helped cut through the richness of the fried dishes and tied everything together nicely. Overall, a delicious meal with generous portions and plenty of variety. I'd happily come back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're craving quality katsu and comforting noodle dishes.

First time here was dinner and it was packed and had to wait awhile for both a table and then food. Second experience was lunch on a weekday and wasnt busy at all and food came. My favorite dish is the spicy chewy noodle with katsu. I think I just prefer their normal katsu, it's so perfectly cooked and tasty on its own. The cheese katsu is also good but they scoop out almost all the meat and it's basically a mozzarella stick. Portions are huge and I always have significant leftovers, it doesn't hurt that it comes with many side dishes. Order at the tablet attached to your table. Parking is easy in the big lot in front of it.

Stumbled on this place when me and my fam were looking for a place to have a late lunch after shopping at the outlets. I love me a good curry katsu plate, and appreciated how they also offer noodles with their katsu, as my bf prefers that instead of rice. We were shocked to notice the spicy noodles come out cold (we absolutely love cold noodles) since not many places offer that. We were so impressed at how tasty literally everything we ordered was. The staff were also so nice and welcoming, and inside was pretty spacious with many filled tables. This will definitely be our new go-to spot to come by after a shopping day at the outlets!

When we arrived on a Saturday night, we got seated right away. We're a party of 2. We ordered the Yumee Katsu and the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice which were both delicious. The katsu were very juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The restaurant was very quiet overall with diners chatting within their tables so this is a great restaurant if you're looking for something quiet. I would come back here again.

Been coming to this place for a while now. Best cheese katsu! Service is quick and staff is very friendly.

SUCH GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE!! 3 orders feeds 4 people super well! Huge portions!! My favorite was the assorted katsu - the katsu meat was so tender and the breading was perfect. I also loved the cold noodle katsu - it said it's 3 chili level spiciness, but it didn't feel too spicy at all! The little plates were so good too - I loved the soup!! Will definitely be coming back for the curry katsu. Highly recommend this place!!

Absolutely delicious! I completely understand why the wait is so long, because my taste buds were having a blast! I came on a weekend and even at the odd hours of 2:30pm, we had to wait 45ish minutes. I loved that the katsu didn't taste like oil. The service was efficient. While the place is quite small, it is well maintained. Can't wait to come back!

Assorted Katsu Add On Mini Udon -- delicious combo of everything! Love the side dishes of radish, cabbage salad with a citrus sauce and a light soup. I liked the variety of katsu. Shrimp was very light, cheese katsu was nice despite it getting a little cold to not have a cheese pull, katsu was not overcooked and fresh and flakey. Curry Katsu Rice -- curry sauce was delicious and not thick. The same side dishes come with every dish. Overall quick service, delicious food, easy to order through the kiosk.

My husband and I love Chicken Katsu and decided on this place because it was nearby. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The service was good and it was easy to order right from your table on a tablet. The portion sizes were great, but unfortunately the food wasn't our favorite. It is possible we didn't order the right things.

Came here for a quick bite and tried the Curry Katsu Udon. It was solid and exactly what I was expecting: good comfort food, nothing too over-the-top. The pickle banchan and side salad were a nice touch and really refreshing between bites of the curry. One thing to note: you order directly from the tablet at the table, which I didn't realize at first, but it made the service super fast. The atmosphere was a nice surprise too, they were playing K-pop and the place has a much stronger Korean vibe than I initially thought. Definitely a cool spot!

My 10yrs old son loves both Donkatsu and tteokbokki so much that he always used to struggle to decide what to eat. However, YUMEE KATSU solved that dilemma for us thanks to their special menu item called 'Topokki Katsu'! Personally, the Donkatsu spicy chewy noodles (Katsu+Jjolmyeon) is my favorite. The taste was amazing!

I really liked the seared salmon and truffle yellowtail nigiris! Shoutout to Alex our server -- he was incredibly knowledgable and provided great recommendations of the menu. Shinkai does-- automatic plus for me. I ordered the Sushi Crafter Box and salivated as it being walked over to my table. It looked so satisfying that I didn't even want to dig in. But of course I had to. It was incredible! I normally don't love fatty tuna because the texture can be inconsistent and veiny but it was soft and not veiny at all! My fiance ordered 2 rolls, and a sashimi appetizer and loved it all. We were able to share everything we ordered and both left very satisfied. We ended up coming a second time later in the week for takeout when it wasn't as busy as the day we decided to stop by. Some highlights: + Salmon Salmon! ($17): As a salmon lover, this roll was literallyyyy perfect. It had salmon skin, salmon, and salmon roe. The sushi was well constructed and tasted great. + Kaisen Don: SUCH amazing quality!! I loved how buttery the uni was and how light the scallop was especially. I'm also a sucker for seared salmon so this was just great all around. Our food came out fairly quickly which was greatly appreciated after a long wait. The main con of our experience -- we visited for a Father's Day dinner and were the second party on their whiteboard waitlist, but we still ended up waiting a little over an hour for a table. Unfortunately, our name got erased from the waitlist twice due to staff mix-ups. Since most parties were waiting outside, we had one person from our group waiting inside to listen for our name. * The first time, I think the server mistook us for another party and erased our name. We let him know and he let us rewrite our name in it's original place. * The second time, he called our party's name, erased us from the board, and our friend immediately went outside to bring the rest of us inside. Before we could all walk in, another party of 6 (whose name was actually below ours on the waitlist) walked in first. We let the server know they weren't with us, but instead of acknowledging the mix-up, he said they had a reservation - even though he had just called our party's name and removed us from the waitlist. We ended up having to rewrite our name on the whiteboard, and there was never an apology for either mix-up. I think the process could've been handled much better by confirming which party was actually being seated instead of only calling names to people waiting inside, especially since most guests were waiting outside. -- Overall, I think the food was amazing but it was unfortunate that the service wasn't as great as expected. Understandably, it was a busy day but I hope they're able to find better ways to manage their waitlist and seating process during peak hours.

We preferred the spicy tuna rolls over the sake rolls, even though both were fresh. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. This is a hidden gem with a heart that does everything right. I hope it continues to thrive in this lovely neighborhood!

Their sushi and hand rolls are delicious and I love the freshness of the raw fishes and the thick cut . They are also famous for the Kate's cutlets , teriyaki and Korean specialties. The restaurant has dine in , take out and delivery options . They also have good poke ( crawfish salads ) , baked mussels and gyoza . It is clean and well maintained, good service with good food . Thus is a great place for lunch and dinner .

When you enter, someone will seat you and then you order everything through a QR code that's on the table. Once you're ready to check out at the end, you can pay through your phone. It's super easy and convenient to be honest. I was really craving Japanese curry and my favorite place is Coco Ichibanya in southern california and although this place is not as good as my favorite place, it was still pretty good and hit the spot for my craving. I got the chicken karaage curry and added vegetables and an egg to it. I was sad they didn't have a Japanese omelette style egg but this fried egg still hit the spot. I believe I got spicy level 2, but it was not spicy at all for me. I do love spice though so I may not be a reliable source for spice levels... I will be getting a spicier level the next time I go though. If you're craving Japanese curry, check this spot out!!! It won't disappoint :)
