I really recommend this place! All the food was really good and the customer service was really great the server was super nice! I'm really shocked that this place isn't popular but the food is seriously really great and if you want vegetables I really recommend the green beans and eggplants! Also the fish portion size is huge LMAO Update they gave me extra guava candy at the end so now I love this place

Always wanted to try spicy boiled fish and finally did. It was flavorful and delicious but the fish was kind of flat and not very meaty, considering it was $50! We did appreciate a lot of ingredients inside already without adding any additions Their garlic AChoy was also very good. Would prob come back and try other dishes in the future.

Obsessed with different flavors of spicy food. My personal favorite are 香辣鸡肋骨 and 爆炒鱼肚. But the spicy level is too high for the grilled fish

Great food, fast service, clean and kids friendly. I stopped by after driving by so many times. The staff were friendly and attentive. The fried fish is recommended.

Great food, nice portion! Not to greasy nor too salty! Love the frog dish, meat tastes fresh and yummy!

Delicious , good portion , not too expensive given current circumstances. see pics. The sour veg fish is pretty good (the soup is great) , long green bean + eggplant is not bad, twice-cook pork is alright, the spicy fried chicken bite is nice. Service is quite good too: the waitress was courteous and attentive. I forgot to mention: The appetizer is addictive: the peanut is laced with crack or something , and the pickled turnip is , um, appetizing. White rice is fairly priced.

Recently tried this new place. The fish has great flavor if anyone likes spicy food, will definitely go back. The service was awesome, love the side dishes. The place looks very clean, great for a regular family dinner.

My favorite place for spicy grilled fish! Toothpick lamb is also great!!! Customer service is very good

    Peanuts and pickles (radish?)

Overall, very balanced flavors from all of the dishes. I love the authentic and inviting flavors. Only critique would be the amount of oil.

Outstanding Szechuan cuisine. Has the braised fish with pickled vegetables, hand torn cabbage, and stir fried fish maw.

I ordered new menu food which turned out to be pretty good! I love the it's spicy and the soup was great. Love the fish too, very saucy and delicious.

The online menu also allows for less oil, so I decided to go for the healthier option. In general, I like how their menu allows for easily adding and removing toppings from your orders. The house beef noodles even at mild spice can pack a good amount of heat, so I'd give a warning if you have a low tolerance. The zajiang noodles had a great texture, and the flavor was light but still flavorful. I'd definitely order that again but with mild spice next time I make a visit. The restaurant has a nice and clean ambience with space for group and solo seating. Unfortunately, the restaurant was undergoing power issues, so we couldn't use a phone to order. A server took our order and explained that one area of the restaurant was even unlit because of the power issues. The lights briefly went out as well, and the servers were understandably worried about the situation. Thankfully, they quickly turned back on. Payment was conducted via Zelle; the other option was cash.

I've tried quite a few dishes here and honestly everything has been solid. I usually get the house beef noodle but this time I tried the braised pork noodle. The noodles had the perfect bouncy texture, the pork was super tender, and the bok choy added a nice crunch that helped balance the richness of the broth. My friend got the hot and sour chaoshou which was also really good. The dumpling skin was chewy and they were packed with filling. It's also nice that you can customize the oil level in your broth. We ordered the pig ears as an appetizer too. I loved the crunchy texture but the flavor was a bit underwhelming. The initial taste was mostly chili oil and then the flavor kind of disappeared. They have a lot of other great appetizers on the menu so I'd probably skip this one next time. If you're looking for a relaxed spot with consistently good noodles Mian is definitely worth checking out!!

Instead, they called across the room to a coworker to ask if we could be seated. Once seated, we ordered quickly using the iPad. In fact, the two tables next to us were still placing their orders when we had already finished. A staff member even came by to confirm our order, so we assumed everything had gone through correctly. After waiting over 30 minutes, we noticed that tables who had arrived and ordered after us were already receiving their food while we still hadn't received anything. We tried several times to get the attention of the staff to ask about our order, but all four employees we attempted to flag down ignored us. Eventually, one staff member finally responded. She checked her iPad, didn't provide any update or explanation about our order, and simply walked back into the kitchen. At that point, we decided to leave. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and it seemed like the staff didn't want us there. What made it even more noticeable was that they appeared much friendlier and more attentive to the neighboring tables.

We were pleasantly surprised that the lunch AYCE price was $25/person. They have a self service model for most of the meats/veggies/noodles as well as the sauce bar. You can also order appetizers and thinly sliced meat through their QR code. There were some snacks near the sauce bar such as freshly fried mantou and shrimp chips as well as bing fen and fresh fruit for a refreshing end of the meal treat. Everything was super fresh. The meatballs and beef belly were especially good and the spicy broth had the perfect amount of spice and flavor to it. I definitely would come here again to eat! One of the items that you can order has a peanut topping on it and the host was considerate to notify us about it. However, SLICED proteins such as sliced ribeye beef, sliced prime USDA beef, and sliced pork are restricted to 3 dishes per order, must be order by request, and are prepared in the kitchen. Portions are small and not sufficient for two or more people. When we tried to order a second round, only two dishes arrived out of the 3. On the third attempt, nothing arrived at all. On top of that, the wait time for sliced proteins was extremely long. While the menu is promoted as AYCE, the service appears to intentionally slow down and limit access to the main protein items, which is misleading and disappointing.

It offers a generous portion of tender, juicy meat and springy, fresh noodles. "DELICIOUS!!" I arrived at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) on Sunday (around 11AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big with many spots. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, but Staff spoke limited English. Fortunately, pointing at the menu was clear enough. The food took eight minutes and nine seconds. Fast time! As mentioned, the Beef Rib Noodle Soup ($16.50 - Mild) is wonderful! It arrived picturesque and delicious!! However, despite ordering "mild," the food has a very strong heat; I sweat nonstop as I ate. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. The meat is tender, flavorful, and falls off the bone. And the noodles are hefty, soft, and springy. It's a wonderful, euphoric combination of flavors and textures. Concerning ambiance, No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) is surprisingly spacious with its tall ceiling and relatively clean surroundings. However, its walls and furniture look worn down with time. Some seats even had torn holes. Unfortunately, the music uses radio with constant commercials playing in the background. Fortunately, there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found culinary magic at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights). The food is fresh, generously portioned, and well-prepared. I left full with a bright smile. We got the half tomato (light spice) and half spicy soup (mild) base and both were really good! I might upgrade to med next time. The meat quality was great, esp the 1 wagyu plate per person that comes with AYCE. Surprisingly the fatty beef was so tender as well. Even the mala beef didn't hurt going in...or out.
