Just like the old BD Mongolian restaurant. You sit down and order sushi or a bowl of Mongolian stir fry. You request white or brown rice and then make your bowl with veggies and meat and spices and flavorings. 11.99 for lunch or 13.99 for dinner. I think unlimited bowls are 3 dollars more. They are getting a beer and wine license. You put your bowl on the counter and they stir fry it on a large hot stone. Your rice choice is on the bottom. We got fried rice, which was yellowish. Next time we will do white or pile noodles on top to cook. Drinks were reasonable at 2.49. Fresh pop. Great service, many refills. They brought the food to our table. An art is to put heaviest stuff on top. I piled mine high and easily could have done more, but i can only eat so much. Steak, chicken, pork, sausage, white fish, and shrimp was available. Salmon was out. Great deal!

We loooove yummy bowl. Their stir fry noodle dishes to sushi is sooo good! You can't go wrong here. We have dined in and done an order for pick up and the quality is consistent! I hope this place stays! I have not done the walk up stir fry but would like to do that!

Unique experience. Get all your food picks in a bowl and then they make it for you. Sushi is also very good. Customer service is ok.

Absolutely amazing alert! We've eaten here a few times and each time we love it even more. Great spot for sushi and a bowl loaded with truly whatever you want and however much you want of it! Everything is hot, fresh made, and amazing. We will definitely continue to eat here a few times a month. It's unique and cool how you can build your own bowl and pile it high yourself so you know what you're getting. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere is very casual and comfortable. Definitely put this one on the list if you haven't been!

I came here on the first day this restaurant opened, and the staff was extremely accommodating to the acclimating ambiance. You can either order carry out or go to the yummy bowl or sushi line. I got a yummy bowl and you go down a line with clearly labeled ingredients and put what you want manually into a bowl. There also is a wide range of sauces and spices you can top your bowl with to make it personalized. I got a vegetarian bowl and the veggies could not get fresher than this! It also was sautéed quickly and the food was given to us hot and ready. Overall, it was a bit confusing to get the hang of the set up, but it was a fun and hands on restaurant to come to!

Bowl with Dragon Sauce. Fresh, hot and delicious. California rolls were awesome also! Excellent.

A lot of great options to your own meal!

Great place for a hungry person. Fill up your bowl with everything that sounds good.. meats, veggies, you name it. Then add seasoning , pick your favorite sauces, add some spice if you'd like then let them cook it up! Comes out hot and tastey just like you imagined when you made your bowl. Friendly service and a lot of food for the money. They even have some seafood options that can be added.. shrimp, mussels, calamari, salmon and a few others. We will be back for sure! No rice really needed. It's a great place for those watching carb intake. Try it, you'll like it and if you don't, remember, you made your bowl!!!

Do not order to go. I waited for over 40 minutes while person after person walked through the line and their food was cooked before my to go order. Absolutely ridiculous system. Will not order to go again! I literally counted over 25 people who got in line and had their food cooked after I placed my to go order. Never again!

Several people in my group said they'd tried multiple times without any luck. From what I've heard, Thursday at 5:00 is one of the easier reservations to get, because the Friday and Saturday 7:00 p.m. seatings disappear almost instantly. I've had sushi all over the country (although not all over the world), and this was hands down the best sushi I've ever had. The quality of the fish is incredible--they fly it in from Japan--and every course was beautifully presented. The pairings the chef came up with were amazing and really let the fish shine. The menu changes every day and every season, so you'll never have the exact same experience twice. One of my favorite surprises was the miso soup. The chef explained that the broth is made using the bones from the fish we were eating that evening, and it was honestly one of the best bowls of miso soup I've ever had. The only suggestion I'd make is to have a simple printed menu with the names of each course and maybe a few notes about the ingredients. The chef explains every course, but there are so many Japanese names and details that it's hard to remember everything by the time you leave. I would have loved something to take notes on or even just glance at while he was talking. The only other thing I noticed was that the ending felt just a little rushed. There are seatings at 5:00, 7:00, and 9:00, and by the end of our meal the next group was already waiting in the entryway. It wasn't a big deal, but it was noticeable. The experience is $115 per person, and the required 20% gratuity is paid when you make the reservation. You can also order alcoholic drinks during dinner. At the end, the chef offers an optional add-on (ours was either a $30 bowl or a $12 roll). I skipped it because it featured a type of fish that usually isn't my favorite, but after seeing what the chef did with everything else, I was honestly tempted to give it a try. Maybe next time. This was one of those meals that you keep thinking about long after it's over. Everything was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. I can honestly say it's the best sushi I've ever had, and I'd love to come back every season to see how the menu changes.

My husband set an alarm for 5:58am to get ready to go to the site and try to get reservations for 7pm Saturday night. However, in the couple of seconds it took him to figure out how the reservation site worked, all 8 spots for the 7pm time slot were taken. 5pm was not our preference so he got lucky to get 2 spots at 9pm. Yay. All the sashimi was very tasty and super fresh. The range of flavors varied from creamy tuna taste to some fishy sardines. My favorite, a fish I never tried before, is Jackass - very delicious. Btw it was our first Omakase experience ever, and we look forward to trying more of these places in the future. With only 8 spots per seating, I really enjoyed the intimate ambiance, of talking with the chief and hearing him explain each dish.
