    Acai Bowl
    Marisa M.

This is a takeout place! No seating inside. There is a couch that looks kinda out of place and tables outside but that's about it. It felt like walking into someone's home or a random kitchen. There was a guy that was doing everything, cooking and giving you your order. I ordered online on their website for pickup. $10 for a very big and fresh acai bowl. When I got there he said there were no strawberries so he gave me extra blueberries which is nice. Lots of granola and coconut on it too. It was exactly what I needed. Just the right amount of sweetness, and I put some of my own cereal on it. I got a sandwich that I didn't eat yet but looks huge. Food is reasonably priced and ready in 20 min!

Came here for the first time for lunch on a weekday. This spot is great, like other reviews suggest! There's some nice indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is extensive and the staff behind the counter very friendly and welcoming. I went with the caprese sandwich. It was really good and a generous size for the price! I only ate half here and took the other half to go. Service was super fast as well. This seems like a really nice local spot and I plan to return for more lunches!

Very good hole-in-the-wall lunch spot near the Giants ballpark and a few offices in South Beach/South Park, SF. I loved chatting with the older gentleman owner who took orders and handled preparing the food. He was chatty and friendly even though the staff who usually is there to help him was absent! He handled the lunch rush well. I enjoyed his housemade baklava and my chicken banh mi. I will be back to try more from their extensive menu--lots of sandwiches, lasagna, platters, breakfast items, baked goods, salads, and soups!

Pastrami sandwich ($12), soup of the day

Small shop with delicious food manned by a very kind shop owner. It truly feels like you're having a meal at someone's home. The menu is extensive, with sandwiches, soups, salads, plates, and even dessert, all at super reasonable prices. I had the pastrami sandwich with cheese. Make sure to get the cheese! The melty cheese adds a delicious layer of creaminess to the pastrami. I don't know what bread this is, but it's amazing. Slight crunch on the outside, but so fluffy on the inside. Tastes really good toasted the next day in the air fryer too. We also had the soup of the day was a chicken rice soup, a huge bowl with lots of veggies and a thick heartiness. Came with 3 pieces of that delicious bread. My friend got the caprese sandwich, which also tasted super fresh. There's actually a small indoor seating section even if it doesn't look like it from the outside. Forego the Taco Bell Cantina and come here instead!

Cooking it up. Doing a lot with a small mom n pop space.

Fresh made. Great local spot. Love the breakfast wraps and now expanding to offer more international foods in a convenience store format. Nice guy.

Was looking for a place to grab lunch and found this on Yelp. There aren't a lot of signs or visual markers that stand out, so it can be easy to walk by like I did while looking for it. The menu is propped up along the wall near the front entrance. The service was quick, and although the man, who I assume is the owner, isn't a man of many words, he wasn't rude or anything in the slightest. The interior decor is lacking, and there isn't really any seating, but the looks did not reflect the food at all. I ordered the NY Hot Pastrami sandwich, and a Roasted Red Pepper Soup. The pastrami sandwich was amazing. The meat was incredibly tender, wasn't too salty, and it was on a soft bun. They provided some pickle slices that went really well with the sandwich too. The soup menu looks like it changes daily. I got the Roasted Red Pepper Soup and it was so flavorful and smooth. This will probably be my new normal lunch spot whenever I'm in the area. Everything was delicious!

Service 3.5/5 Very slow in terms of trying to get an order in, paying for my tab which I had tried eyeing or waving down a server or asking for small things like napkins. I could see that they're understaffed and wished they hired more help. I'd still come back for their brunch. Ambience 3.8/5 From our seating it felt very crammed, since we could literally hear the conversation of the table next to us. It also does get loud since it's very busy. I also think their tables are quite small for the condiments and plates, which I'm glad my partner and I didn't order another dish. These are just stuff to beware of. They do have beautiful wooden panels on the wall to look at. I highly recommend having brunch here and will be coming back when I'm in the area.

There are a few tables outside the restaurant that are slanted on a small hill and a platform with a few tables on the street. We were seated on a table on the hill and had to be mindful of fluids/sauces filled to the brim. Blankets are also provided on each chair in case it gets breezy outside. The menu is set daily, so the dishes can vary from what's shown in previous photos. After ordering, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The summer vegetable hash comes with beans, squash, tomatoes, corn, carrots, peppers and eggs. I typically associate hash with potatoes, but surprisingly this dish does not come with potatoes. The dish was fairly mild, with most of the flavor coming from the individual vegetables. It's definitely a lighter, healthier take on hash and would be a good option if you're looking for something with more vegetables. The plow comes with eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes, potatoes and choice of meat. The lemon riccota pancakes were the star of the dish- light, fluffy and not too sweet. The potatoes were crispy. The steak + eggs was a hearty option. The steak was tender and juicy and went well with the chermoula sauce. Overall, I'm glad I got to try this restaurant at least once, but hesistant to come back because of the long wait and value of each plate.
