April 12, 2026, It looks like my previous review was deleted. I am posting again. It's important for the public to know what can happen when getting nail gel done at Yvonne's Nails and how you will be treated when asking for help. After getting my nails done here, I returned with a painful, red, swollen thumb and simply asked to have the gel removed so I could go to urgent care. Instead of concern, I was met with very defensive man. When I showed him my nail was turning green, he ran to the break room laughing and talking in his language so I cannot understand what he is saying but it is obvious he was making fun of me. Hurt upon injury. As I am getting the gel removed, he kept coming to the nail station to harass me" "this is going to cost you XXX%=$", etc. I don't care, I am in pain and I need to go to urgent care as soon as possible, I said. He went in the breakroom to hid while someone else checked me out. The MD at Urgent Care later diagnosed a significant abscess under the gel, and I'm now on two types of antibiotics. Very disappointing experience. When a customer is in pain, health and safety should come first--not money. The shop manager did contact me to "write a new story" asked me to come back. There's no way in hell I would go back there. I lost my thumb nail, and all my other nails are very damaged, thin, and pealing to get a nail service done. It's going to take at least six months to heal from this.

We visited Yvonne's nail salon in Fremont today for the first time and had a wonderful experience. Tim helped with the manicure and suggested the best options that turned out amazing, I opted for Cat eye nails with French tips. Very happy with how it turned out, would definitely recommend going here. Hannah, holly and the entire staff was very pleasant to work with

I've been coming to Yvonne's Nails for a while now & they're the best. Love that they give complimentary drinks with so many options to choose from. I always book with Holly, she is so talented! Will always be my go to salon.

Yvonne's Nails - Fremont: Pampering on Demand in a Gorgeous, Spacious Salon I booked a same-day appointment for a pedicure at Yvonne's Nails, and wow--this place is next level. The salon is impressively large, with over 20 pedicure chairs lined up like little thrones, plus a sea of manicure tables ready to handle multiple people in a day. It wasn't busy the weekday I went, but I can imagine the place being packed over weekends. From the moment I walked in, the staff were professional, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. The vibe is polished but welcoming--no snooty salon attitudes here, just genuinely kind people who clearly love what they do. One of the best parts? They offered cocktails and drinks while I was getting my treatment--such a nice touch that made the experience feel extra relaxing (and honestly a little glamorous). Whether you want to unwind with something bubbly or sip something non-alcoholic, they have you covered. The pedicure itself was fantastic: thorough, gentle, and beautifully done. They included hot towel and stone massages in the basic pedicure which I thought was a treat and just what I needed for my achey legs. For such a spacious, full-service salon, the prices were very reasonable. If you're in Fremont and looking for a place that combines efficiency, luxury, and friendly service, Yvonne's Nails should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!

NEVER EVER GET YOUR NAILS DONE FROM TAMY at this salon. I went in with pretty pink nails and just wanted to take my current powder/gel nail polish off and apply a regular paint. Instead of using the normal process of covering your nails with acetone and foil, TAMY decided to put me through physical and mental TORTURE by pulling of the entire coat along with multiple layers of my nail to a point that the skin under my nails started showing up and bleeding. I don't think I would put even my enemy through this kind of torture. Tamy does not understand English nor was able to communicate to me what she was doing. She only stopped when I started yelling out of pain and burn. To top it all, she asked me to dip my bleeding nail into a small bowl of acetone. I think she was trying to kill me with pain. She was rude as fuck. When I denied putting my bleeding finger in acetone, she started saying if u don't put in acetone, I can't do anything. Coz clearly pulling ripping tore my nail and she could not get the nail paint off. I have posted pictures of the nails that I had and after the torturous session. I couldn't take it anymore and demanded someone else to at least fix my fucked up nails. Other lady Fo helped me smooth the rough nails. She removed the paint from the remaining nails using foil and acetone without hurting me even a bit. This review was specifically for Tamy but I wish the salon at least showed me some courtesy. They charged me $17 for fixing my nails that they screwed up. read more

Paid $70 for a deluxe pedicure and manicure but my heels look untouched. My heels have never looked like this after a pedicure at other shops, another salon I go to has my feet looking like a newborn babies feet. That is not the case here. read more

Hi. This is the best nail salon in Fremont area. I been going to Yvonne's nail for years. All the nail tech are very experienced with nail shapes and design. I went to Mood Nail Lounge and they were not able to give me the nail result I wanted. The cuticles were not clean the polish was missing on the sides. Mood Nail lounge is not apart of Yvonne nails. They are separate. I though they were the same because nail tech told me they also work at Yvonne's. I highly recommend coming to Yvonne's. You can walk in anytime. The nail techs are amazing. Just had a full set done by Van and she did not disappoint. I've also been here a few times right before and during the pandemic. I've also had my nails done by Holly and one other (forgot her name) and they both did a great job. Mind you I'm very particular about shape and design. That's why I drive here from Oakland. I don't like plain or basic nails, they're just not my style, and this salon never says no to any design I ask for like most of the salons in the East Bay. I also get a basic pedicure with gel and the hot stone comes with it. read more

Terrible Terrible Terrible!!!! If you want a relaxing quiet pedicure after a long week this is NOT the place. There is TOO many people in there definitely over capacity. People yelling across the room, children crying and running all over the place. A complete s**t show! They have so many pictures on yelp, but they all have their personal instagrams. I was very happy with my hot pink nails. Can't wait to come back and get my nails done again. **DO NOT GO HERE!** I made an appointment on Wednesday through their online scheduling system wanting an appointment for Friday. I knew I may have been out of luck as Friday is one of their busiest days. When I saw two nail techs I really like had two appointments close to each other, I went ahead and booked (one for my daughter and one for myself). It wasn't long before I received a phone call saying Jen had a family emergency and wouldn't be in on Friday. I went ahead and kept my appointment with Ruby and was told my daughter and I could still come in and they would find someone else to do my daughters nails during my appointment time. Fast forward to Friday, I come in at noon for my scheduled appointment time with Ruby. As I walk in I notice Jen sitting at her booth doing another woman's nails! Wasn't my appointment with her just canceled because she wasn't going to be in? That's odd. Then I'm told they are running behind and it would be about 20/30 minutes. 35 minutes passed and my daughter and I were still in the lobby waiting...they must have been a whole appointment behind at this point. Smh! Multiple people came in for their appointments and were told to wait and I also heard them saying that this always happens to them as well. It's literally 45 minutes now of waiting and the guy (Holly's husband) calls my daughter and I over to take a seat. Honestly by this time I just want a take off and to schedule a full set somewhere else. I sit and wait 5 more minutes until a woman comes over to do the take off. Instead of soaking my nails, she used a tip to work up and underneath the acrylic to pop off the nail. She hurt me so bad, made me bleed and didn't do anything to save my natural nail. All while I'm thinking I could have done this at home!!! Smh again! I'm literally so disappointed with this establishment. They admitted to being understaffed so not sure why they are over booking. This isn't the first time this has happened and I'm definitely not the only one! I have been a loyal customer since 2014 when they were at an older location but from today on out I will not be returning to Yvonne's nails ever again! Protecting my time and my happiness! These people do NOT CARE about their clients, are fake and RUDE! I understand being 10-15 minutes late but anything longer than that I should have received a phone call letting me know the nail techs were running late and to leave at a later time! Get it together Yvonne's nails! You just lost a real one! read more

I usually don't write reviews but i received such bad customer service at yvonnes, i went yestetday to get a set of acrylics and pedicure first off all their prices are pretty high so i expect good service but the lady who was doing my pedicure cut my nail and the side of my nail so much that it started bleeding and at that time i was like fine not really a big deal might be a minor cut but today i woke up and wasnt even able to walk and put my foot in my shoe cuz it hurt so bad and looked a little infected ;( read more

Really liked this place! Came in on a Saturday at 3:00pm with no appointment is was crazy packed. They said it would be a 15 minute wait.... and unlike other places, they weren't kidding my mom & myself were seated at 3:17. My nail techs names T! She was fast and did an amazing job!! I'm glad I found this place. Will be my new go-to since I recently moved to Fremont. And can't go to my usual place anymore. Tammy is always my go to. I always do a simple acrylic fill and get color. She makes sure my nails come out clean and straight and if I ask for a design she lets me know before hand if there may be issues with for example a jewel or a stick Update. Tammy is still my favorite. She makes sure how the colors will interact with each other. And she checks in on my length because if I have them too long I personally can't workout as great. read more

Michelle did my nails today she cut almost all of my fingers this morning. I noticed that she was kind of rushing maybe because it's close to lunchtime? When she cut 2 fingers I told her to be careful but she was rushing and cut more fingers I told her to stop and don't clean the sides anymore cause it's really painful and I was scared already but she continued. I told her to stop but she insisted and she said it will lift blah blah I don't care anymore cause it hurts and she kept cutting other fingers. She was rough and doesn't care. I took a year hiatus from Yvonne's but I'm so glad I came back. My five star review remains the same, however, it's safe to say that I'll never leave again! What drew me back was their online booking system. Yvonne's is always busy, and for good reason, but with that, appointments and wait times can get a little crazy. I love that they upgraded their customer experience and really made it a point to be more professional and customer-centered. In the three months I've been back, I've been beyond pleased with each visit. During my first visit back, Jen recognized me right away and knew I was a previous regular of Holly's. She was accommodating and made me feel comfortable, as if I had never stopped going there. The same is to say about Holly! She is a sweetheart and goes above and beyond to make sure that my nails are just the way I like them. She remembered all the little details that are important to me and that's one of the reasons why she is the best! While Holly is my main nail tech, I wholeheartedly recommend Alisa as well. She is kind and very hip to all of the latest styles & trends. She is the best at shaping nails! She does the perfect coffin and her attention to detail is admirable. I really enjoy coming here, they always take me in, I call every time but not once have they turned me down, they always say come on in. They are really busy, but the girls are very nice. I get my pedi every 3 weeks faithfully with no complaints. I am very picky when it comes to pedis, I like a good scrub and a massage and these girls always do a great jobs on my legs and feet! I love this nail salon. So why you ask the one star? Here is why. Today and most days I have an appointment. It was at 1:45. (See attached photo). As most days that you make an appointment you almost never get seen on your appointment time. And are always waiting. Why even have a system if you never stick to it? I'll update when I get seen UPDATE: 2:05 got seated. And as usual my nails are epic! Like I said I love this salon. They never disappoint other than the wait WITH an appointment. Listen I get it. People are late. But you as a business need to stick to the schedule. If some jack hole ahead of me is late you need to make THEM reschedule. My time is precious to me. I moved back to the Bay about three weeks ago and it's so hard for me to find a nail salon that I like. However, after reading many reviews, pictures, and IG pages, I decided to give Yvonne's Nails a try. I got my nails done by Holly. She complimented my nails being strong. I got regular gel mani and it was okay at first. After four days, my thumb nail started to chip. And just now, my index finger nail BROKE. It's literally been a little less than a week and I am very disappointed. I came here because I heard good things about Holly and Yvonne's nails. My nails are 3 days old and they look HORRIBLE. I went in on Saturday to get them done and the lady that did them was rushing. I didn't notice til later that day that they looked unfinished. My bf noticed right when I saw him and that says A LOT!!!!! You can see through the nails as well as the paint strokes. For $50, this was such a bad job. I haven't made the time to call and complain but once I get the chance, I will and I will demand for a refund or to have them fixed for free by a different person. I used to LOVE this place but now i'm going to have to find another nail salo and I hate that UPDATE: The manager reached out to me to have my nails fixed for free. I told her i would show up Friday. When I did, I explained my situation to the guy and he had so much attitude. I left and am never coming back. ANOTHER UPDATE: The manager saw I was very upset and reached out to me again.. she told me to come in and ask for her specifically. I went in and she was very sweet to me. She checked up on me while I was getting my nails done and apologized multiple times. I understand a nail salon can be very busy, but its the way you treat your customers that matter the most. I came in in February for a full set French tip and a gel pedicure. I decided in March I wanted to get the fake nails off and get a gel manicure. When I arrived at the salon for my ten am appointment which the salon opens at ten this lady followed me in and started telling the gentleman at the desk she had a 9am appointment with Van. And that she wasn't there at 9am. I was scheduled with Van at 10am. The gentleman told the other customer to go to van and then gave me to another lady. The lady asked what I wanted to do to my nails and I explained I wanted the fake nails removed and a gel mani. She got annoyed through out the process and asked me a few different times if I wanted a fill. I have young children and had the artificial nails on for my wedding. She began the process of removing the fake nails when her next customer arrived. My nails are now chipping and I can clearly see A LOT of acrylic still on my nails... I have another appointment coming up. And I'm hoping they can do something about this . Because this is not what I requested nor paid for. read more

I used to love coming to this place, but it's completely gone downhill, and I can't say I'll ever return. The biggest issue by far is the guy at the register--he's the owner's husband, and he's ruining the entire atmosphere. He constantly checks out the women who come in, making everyone feel incredibly uncomfortable. It's obvious that he doesn't belong in a customer-facing role. His behavior is creepy and unprofessional, and it just doesn't suit him. On top of that, he seems to have this dominating attitude, like he's running the place with an iron fist. You can hear him yelling at times, and I've even witnessed arguments between him and the staff. It's clear that they're overworked and miserable, and honestly, who can blame them with someone like him in charge? HE NEEDS TO LEAVE! To make things worse, before the service is even complete, he's already asking for payment. It's all about money with him, and it's a huge turn-off. This never used to happen before, and it's just another sign of how much the place has changed for the worse. And for the prices they're charging, it's ridiculous--you're not getting what you pay for at all. The materials they use are low quality now, and the overall service has taken a huge hit. The cleanliness has seriously declined too. There's a real concern about contamination, and the place just doesn't feel sanitary anymore. I have gotten a toe infection from this place..... The technicians who used to be reliable, have gotten worse as well, and I suspect it's because all the good employees have left under poor management. Even with an appointment, I'm left waiting 10-15 minutes every time, and it's clear that they care more about squeezing money out of customers than providing quality service. This place used to be a gem, but now it's all about money and not about quality or customer experience. I've been coming here for over a year & the last two time have been the worst nails I've had yet. First, this the second time I make an appointment with the nail tech that always does my nails, & they tell me once I get there that she's not back yet. It was fine the first time but to still have her name as available when she's not is unfortunate. The first time 3 weeks ago I had been sitting down for 2 hours and the nails were no where near done. I called them as soon as I got home & let them know the nails were really bad. They asked me to come in the next day to "talk". Instead I let them fix them. Total time for nails was over 3 hours combined. Same thing today, another nail tech had to work on my nails & the shape is so bad. The nails are curving down & just look bad. I wanted a green cat eye & it looked like glitter only. I asked her to remove & just to a soft pink. I let the guy at the desk know I was unsatisfied with the service. That the nails are curving down & he said that's how they're supposed to look. However, this is the first time ever the gel-x nails look like this. He asked me to sit down & get them fixed or to come back again to get them fixed. I can't keep coming back after & get the nails fixed each time. read more

Giving this place one star is being TOO generous. I made 2 appts online to be seen at 4pm per their new policy. I noticed it said your appt will be cancelled if you are 15 mins late. I purposely made time to show up a few mins early because I live in Palo Alto. I showed up at 3:50pm and was told I would have to wait 30-45 mins to be seen because they're running late. They were ready to take me at 4:35, but I left because that type of customer service doesn't deserve a penny. Smh what a waste of time and gas!! What sense does it make to change your policy to required online appts and ALSO be first come, first serve? It has to be one or the other. What's the point of making an appt if a walk-in is going to be seen before you? Wouldn't you expect to be seen ON TIME if you made an appt? I mean 5-10 mins is ok, but 45? THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE. Also, how is it fair that a customer cannot be a few mins late but a nail tech can be?? If a nail tech is late, $15 should be taken OFF. This place used to be amazing, but since they've gotten so popular their work and customer service has gone to SHIT. So disappointing! If you want good customer service and beautiful nails, I recommend Gelish Nails ok Thornton or K3 in Milpitas. read more

I came here on Wednesday @6:30pm to get one of my finger nails refilled. So, when I entered here, they asked me which service they would like to provide, and I replied, I need a refill on one of my nails! Then, they told me to go all the way in the corner, where Van was. In addition, Van always does a nice job on my nails, but this time, when she started on my nail, she was doing it as if she was in a rush! It was really irritating because that one refill looks so much shorter than my other nails, and it doesn't have the square pattern like the other ones! I mean if she had an appointment with someone else, I didn't mind going to another employee, I just needed to get a refill done! And, all of the other employees were just walking around taking with each other, complimenting other clients' nails! When it comes to appointments with other clients, they literally rush you! But when I entered, the other employees had good customer service! I will probably try this place again, but I don't recommend this place to anyone, who is looking for a professional nail salon! P.S. They will treat you nice, if you have make-up on, and look hot, otherwise you are another trash in the bag like other clients! read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for about three years now, and I always have a great experience. The owners, John and Holly, are incredibly kind and welcoming. John is especially accommodating and always makes an effort to speak to my mom, Lucy, and I in Spanish, which we really appreciate it makes the experience feel even more personal and comfortable. The staff is super professional and consistently does amazing work. I don't usually take pictures of every set I've gotten, but I'll leave a few below because I truly love how my nails always turn out. Their pedicures are just as great,always relaxing and well done. Prices can be a bit on the higher side, but I usually get designs like French tips, studs, and nail décor, so the cost reflects the detailed work. Someone getting a simple solid color would likely pay less. Overall, the quality and service make it well worth it. Highly recommend! read more

Just wanted to get my acrylic nails removed because I thought it would be better than doing them at home. I read online that to remove acrylics you would soak the nails in acetone and then easily remove them. BUT NOPE. Basically she just use the plastic fake nails to get in between my real nails and acrylic ones which hurt like hell, then used force to pry, or basically rip the acrylic off. I can't really describe the whole process, but all I know it hurt like hell and I definitely wasn't expecting so much pain. IDK if that's usually the procedure but oml, i've never doing that again. And afterwards there really wasn't much care. She was definitely in a rush as she barely buffed my nails and hastily applied oil to my cuticles. All in all, it was 10 bucks for 30 min of pain. This was my first time here. I MUST say I won't be going anywhere else!! This place is friendly, clean, and hospitable. My manicurist was Nick!!!! It was his first day. He was funny, like literally had me and the customers around me laughing the entire time. He paid attention to the detail of my nails, making sure they were even, straight, and that the color was a good time for my skin. I asked for a design, but not sure what I wanted. I let him do it for me and I LOVE IT!!! Holly is amazing as well. The customer next to me had her nails done by Holly. Next time I'll be getting her design, white marble with black and gold. This review is long overdue! I found this place over a year ago, and have since refused to go to any other nail salon. I go to school an hour away, and I still only get my nails done here when I come home to Fremont. Every time I go in with a specific request (like add on jewels or glitter ombré), my nails have come out exactly as I wanted! Also, their customer service is awesome. I feel like a princess every time I go haha. I took my mom here for Mother's Day, and all services were 20% off- such a good deal! They also served free mimosas, which made my mom very happy. Basically, I highly recommend coming here if you haven't already! 10/10 read more

I absolutely love the salon. I have been coming here for almost 3 years now. Holli and John have done such an amazing job and making the salon look beautiful. Hannah who has been doing my nails is amazing. She's a five star nail artist... they also have the best waxing employees here also, who do an amazing job.. they also provide eyelash extensions.. I leave this review being in the Salon industry all my life because there really isn't another place that is this good around !! The atmosphere is beautiful the drinks they serve are wonderful. If I've ever had to wait (due to how busy and booked they get and not rushing clients) they always compensate me by doing a polish change or adding some glitter which more than makes up for it! My nails in every way are super nice, even weeks after. It stays glued on, no chips or anything. Lisa did my nails and she is superrr nice!! She made me feel super comfortable and would talk to me. All the staff are nice here and the place itself is nice and clean. I recommend booking online or on the phone, because the place is pretty busy and packed, although I went there on a Saturday afternoon. I love my nails and I am going back! read more

I've had nothing but great experiences with this place. If something isn't right just let them know and they will fix it. I read a review where the white gel turned brown. These things happen when trying new brands etc just simply call them and Jennifer will def make sure they fix it. I came here only because I knew Alyssa was working in this nail salon and she used to be my nail tech in the old place she was at. It's a very busy place which shows they're good work. I love going with Alyssa because she knows exactly what her clients want and will not fuss if you want something fixed. We had such a wonderful experience at this salon! Our group of six was welcomed with friendliness and professionalism, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The salon was spotless and had a relaxing atmosphere. We loved that drinks were included--we chose champagne, which made the visit feel extra special. Do they know how to use polish? YES. But the service was slow and some individuals were just shouting across the room answering my questions instead of the person who was about to do my services. I walked into this place because a friend was having her eye glasses done next door. It was a pleasant experience. The inside deco is very different than other nails places, very nice, clean & most importantly no smell. The service is good but the lady who did my nails was kinda rush.
