It was my first visit in. I was surprised at how spacious it was inside with so many pedi and mani stations. Ruby did a fantastic job on my hands and feet. She recommended the gel builder vs the regular gel because my natural nails break when they stEt growing. Enjoyed the complimentary lemonade as well. I always opt for the package that includes parrafin for the Xtra hydration on my feet. It felt like a splurge well worth it.
Have been coming here since the last two months. They do the most beautiful designs and are kind. I love how they don't rush. Highly recommend.
Great experience , place is clean and staff super friendly love the atmosphere . This is such a cute place to get your nails done.

April 12, 2026, It looks like my previous review was deleted. I am posting again. It's important for the public to know what can happen when getting nail gel done at Yvonne's Nails and how you will be treated when asking for help. After getting my nails done here, I returned with a painful, red, swollen thumb and simply asked to have the gel removed so I could go to urgent care. Instead of concern, I was met with very defensive man. When I showed him my nail was turning green, he ran to the break room laughing and talking in his language so I cannot understand what he is saying but it is obvious he was making fun of me. Hurt upon injury. As I am getting the gel removed, he kept coming to the nail station to harass me" "this is going to cost you XXX%=$", etc. I don't care, I am in pain and I need to go to urgent care as soon as possible, I said. He went in the breakroom to hid while someone else checked me out. The MD at Urgent Care later diagnosed a significant abscess under the gel, and I'm now on two types of antibiotics. Very disappointing experience. When a customer is in pain, health and safety should come first--not money. The shop manager did contact me to "write a new story" asked me to come back. There's no way in hell I would go back there. I lost my thumb nail, and all my other nails are very damaged, thin, and pealing to get a nail service done. It's going to take at least six months to heal from this.
Yvonne's Nails - Fremont: Pampering on Demand in a Gorgeous, Spacious Salon I booked a same-day appointment for a pedicure at Yvonne's Nails, and wow--this place is next level. The salon is impressively large, with over 20 pedicure chairs lined up like little thrones, plus a sea of manicure tables ready to handle multiple people in a day. It wasn't busy the weekday I went, but I can imagine the place being packed over weekends. From the moment I walked in, the staff were professional, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. The vibe is polished but welcoming--no snooty salon attitudes here, just genuinely kind people who clearly love what they do. One of the best parts? They offered cocktails and drinks while I was getting my treatment--such a nice touch that made the experience feel extra relaxing (and honestly a little glamorous). Whether you want to unwind with something bubbly or sip something non-alcoholic, they have you covered. The pedicure itself was fantastic: thorough, gentle, and beautifully done. They included hot towel and stone massages in the basic pedicure which I thought was a treat and just what I needed for my achey legs. For such a spacious, full-service salon, the prices were very reasonable. If you're in Fremont and looking for a place that combines efficiency, luxury, and friendly service, Yvonne's Nails should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!
First time at Yvonne's Nails today and I was quite impressed. Cindy did my gel manicure and pedicure and she absolutely did a wonderful job! Worth the price and effort.
The owner's husband is a misogynistic joke! I and my whole family have been coming here for years through all their changes because they usually do a good job and this has to be the worst experience I have ever had. I am 39 weeks pregnant, and booked an appointment with my mom. I arrived, they let my mom go and had me sit next to her not in front of store. They FORGOT ABOUT ME FOR 1hr 30 min and lets others in front of me. Then the husband said he can do me now but being pregnant I was already in so much pain from sitting and could not sit there another hour or so. They asked me to come back the next day and promised discount. Next day they forgot about be for another 30 minutes. The owners husband checked me out played dumb about the discount at the end. This entire time I was polite and paid full price $75. I come back 8 days later with 2 of my acrylic nails fallen off and the over growth was so much because the nails weren't placed all the way back on the nail bed. The owners husband blamed me for that much growth because "I'm pregnant and taking prenatals", said it was my fault I left "happy" and should have noticed something wrong the day of and I would need to pay an extra $55 for refill, even after paying $75 the first time 8 days before. I asked to speak to the true owner (Holly, his wife) because she is always so nice and understanding. He was offended and said "I don't need to talk to her, talk to me I am the owner". Of course all nails look good the first day and don't show irregularities until a few days after. He also said he gave me a discount and I said no I paid 75 for full set which is their regular price. He told me if I want refill then I have to come back ANOTHER day and ask the original tech to do for free because a different tech will charge me. Again I am 39 weeks pregnant! Trying to do my nails before my baby arrives, which could be any day, and he is blaming me for all these issues. I'm including a picture of my nails 8 days later of what the owner's husband is saying is my fault for looking this over grown so future customers know what your nails will look like a week after getting done. Negative stars if I could. I would think after YEARS of loyalty he would have been nicer to a very pregnant woman who has been more than polite about being forgotten on 2 different days.
I was greeted quickly and with such hospitality from Jon. He offered a snacks with hot and cold drinks. Most places barely acknowledge me when I walk in to a nail salon so this was quite a treat. Kim did an amazing job with my mani/pedi! We chat the entire time and she listened to my preferences. There was no side-talk amongst the other techs which was nice. This is a very well run salon! I'll be back.

I've finally come to a disappointing end of my long time relationship with Yvonne's. I started off here for my pedicures and refused to go elsewhere. Tao was my go to person that started me on my signature white gel with fairy dust pedi. I've moved from Fremont to Hayward and even moved to Vallejo temporarily yet still made Yvonne's my home base for pedicures. Lately the services seemed extremely rushed and I feel as though I'm inconveniencing them. Please note two things; this is not Tao's work and i always make an appointment days ahead of time or at least hours. This is in regard to other techs. I always get The milk and honey with gel polish which is over $70 and I always tip 20% or more; never under. The pedicures are not relaxing and a waste of product as they don't take much time in each phase of the pedi. I've been getting my nails done again since August. My first set was done by a young woman and was beautifully done. Next set was a cow print inspo that was beautiful done after requesting the tech to review the photo after i noticed she created polka dots and not cow prints. She was obviously irritated and became a bit hostile when gesturing for me to provide her my hands. The next visit was to have the acrylic removed to allow for gel polish in my natural nails. The tech suggested dip to keep them strong so if agreed and chose a matte blush style. I dyed my hair with blue highlights so my nails became stained (not their fault) yet the dio chipped and broke off so easily. I took it as a loss and was more upset with myself for not realizing my hair dye would stain so much. I went in super excited for an inspo set I found on Instagram. I sat down and showed the inspo. I was immediately alarmed when the tech said she could do it but I had to choose the colors. I must have completely spaced until I noticed she used dip, which explained why she didn't have the gel colors I picked out. I specifically told her I wanted gel; yet took the responsibility of the mistake since I spaced and didn't stop her after she had work on an entire hand. She stopped with my nails bumpy and not finished to tell me my pedicure was ready. This was an odd process yet once I was done I was then sent to see a new tech who seemed more confident and willing to try to fulfill my inspo. I left satisfied with the construction of my nails yet the color pallet wasn't something I would ever get again. Now that it was time for a fill I chose and iridescent pink pallet. I was told I couldn't have a fill but it would have to be removal and a fresh set because the dip used in the prior set wouldn't allow for it. I was frustrated yet politely agreed because, again, I had spaced and didn't stop the tech from using dip. My nails came out great and the woman worked last closing so I was appreciative and tipped well. This last set was an appointment made for myself and my mother whom never had her nails done at a nail spa in her entire life; it was a Christmas gift from me. She surprised me and knew exactly what she wanted; short, square, rose gold chrome. Upon arrival on time for our appointment; we signed in and was asked several times if we had an appointment. Finally they asked me to come back and that they would take me first and my mother after. I explained I had made the appointment for us to sit together. They seemed irritated yet sat us next to one another. There was a Tech waiting for me while my mother sat at a free table next to me. My tech had a rushed tone the moment I sat down. I asked if my mother can see a chrome color pallet and was completely ignored. My mother and I started optically communicating. I honestly showed her no inspo as I felt like I would be a bother. I asked for my mother to see a color pallet again and a small stick was practically tossed on the table at her. I argued with myself if I should just stop there and take my mother elsewhere but I didn't. Instead I asked the tech if I was rushing her and explained I didn't want her to feel rushed. She started to be overly "sweet" and calling me honey. My nails came out cute yet the matte coat turned color in days. My mother wasn't shown a proper color pallet and when I asked the tech to please cut her cuticles she responded stating she didn't need it. I had checked my mothers cuticles prior to her techs arrival so I responded with "she does" so the tech barked $8 at me. The did her nails with a bright orange undercoat to accomplish the rose gold look, yet they look copper. My mother was just so happy having her nails done and tried to make small talk about the holidays receiving sweet responses from the tech doing her nails yet nothing from the one doing mine. I tipped both ladies $20 each as the total came up to $154 before tip. I went to fix my matte nails and was told the matte coat stains easy. They seem so irritated and rushed; so not worth the money. I am ending my relationship with Yvonne's that and looking for a new nail spa. read more

Ugh! I'm so mad! I've been coming here for a long time now. And I always pay $35 for a new set of acrylics. I bring my mom here every 3 weeks to get pampered and always spend a lot of money. So today I made an appointment and I was sat down and I had white nails done nothing fancy when I got the receipt it was $50! I paid and I told the lady in front why I paid $50 if last month I paid $35. She told me to go and speak with the lady that did my nails which was Alisa. I asked her and she told me that I'm laying and that they never have new set for that price. I told her that I paid that much las month and she reply that I'm a lair and another nail tech came and told me a laying too. I went to the front and ask the lady if I can speak with someone else about the price and she referred me to her manager. Now, manager was very mean and condescending. I ask her why I was charge that amount if I always pay $35 she reply that $35 if with nail polish ( which I got) and I told her that I got my acrylics done with nail polish and I had pay $50 instead of $35 she looked at my nails and said no that's not polish and told me to go away. I told her that it was polish and show her the nail polish going over my skin and she reply "I'm sorry I don't know" and she wanted to give me $2 back I told here keep your money because it looks like you need it more than I do and left. I felt like she slap me on the face. Never coming back here besides that problem I felt rushed, and ashle was very rough and cut me because she was in hurry to grab another client. Like I said, not coming back here anymore and I won't recommend this place to anybody. read more

Made my first appointment here with Holly since it seemed like she was the go-to person. She gave me what I wanted but I do feel like she was a little bit rushed so there were tiny areas here and there that I would've liked to be more perfect. However she was great and I don't mind seeing her again. My second time here I decided to have any nail tech do my nails. Ann gave me a fill and changed the color/design and i'm in love! She took her time and was very delicate and detailed. She made sure I was going to be ok with what she was doing before proceeding. The shape, color, design and length of my nails are perfect! She was very sweet as well. I do recommend making an appointment beforehand because it can get busy all of a sudden. However one thing that irked me a bit was that I had an appointment at 10:00am but more than half of the nail techs were either not there or not ready? So I did not start my appointment until maybe 10:10-10:15am.... no biggie but that's the whole point of an appointment right? Nonetheless I love my nails and I will be back soon for another fill! read more

I was a walk in today and I was told the wait would be 20 mins. Okay cool. So I'm waiting and it's been a little past twenty mins another family of a mom and two daughters walk in. Two had appointments and one didnt. The one that didn't also needed a full set like me. How in the world was it fair to let her go before me. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes so now I've been here for about an hour. Not happy at all. Not sure if I can continue coming here after this. Which is sad Bc I loved their service and work but If they cannot be fair and equal to everyone then idk. Not for it. read more

Whoever the lady that worked booth #11 today (11/27/2021) around 10:30am was probably the worst, by far, that I've ever had do my nails (extra dramatic at the moment). I don't know about you, but getting my cuticles nicely manicured/pushed back is something I look forward to! Tell me why after getting my gel color removed and accidentally cutting my left ring finger with her drill, the tech went right in with the dip powder. During that process, I asked if she was going to trim my cuticles (afterwards..??!) She said, "if you want me to." Trust me when I say I gave her a pretty gnarly stare. She assured me she wasn't done but to make it a short story, she was basically done. Also, if you want an up and coming single mismatched nail shape for your middle finger, this lady is the one for you. She will surely leave file marks all over your nails, too. Again though, my apologies for not getting her name. That's the saddest part of this story. For the first time in my adult life, I left a $0 tip and told the receptionist that I just wasted $50. She didn't care nor acknowledge my first world problem either and asked me, "cash or card?"... Anyway, onto the next place. This one is definitely overrated. read more

Came here after work for some self care and relaxation!! Aka a mimosa The wait wasn't too long I waited around five minutes before I was taken in. The last time I came here, I got a gel manicure that lasted me a little over a week so I was hesitant about coming back here... but I'm glad I did! Q suggested trying dip powder instead of the regular gel polish and let me tell you GIIIIIRL. That is a game changer. The finish is amazing and less harsh on the enamel! Now, let's see how long they last. I later found out that my nail tech had a migraine and was feeling unwell but I acknowledge her hard work and not to mention she did an amazing job!! The nail machine thingy grazed me a bit but that's because of my troubled cuticles. Would definitely come back again :) read more

Never going there again and I don't recommend anyone going there.. look at how dirty my hands looked leaving the salon. She was very messy and was hurting me. What made me upset the most was I told her 3 times.. 3 TIMES I was gel nail polish not powder. At the end when I was paying she said "45$ for you" I said why? She said "because of the powder." NEVER EVER GET YOUR NAILS DONE FROM TAMY at this salon. I went in with pretty pink nails and just wanted to take my current powder/gel nail polish off and apply a regular paint. Instead of using the normal process of covering your nails with acetone and foil, TAMY decided to put me through physical and mental TORTURE by pulling of the entire coat along with multiple layers of my nail to a point that the skin under my nails started showing up and bleeding. I don't think I would put even my enemy through this kind of torture. Tamy does not understand English nor was able to communicate to me what she was doing. She only stopped when I started yelling out of pain and burn. To top it all, she asked me to dip my bleeding nail into a small bowl of acetone. I think she was trying to kill me with pain. She was rude as fuck. When I denied putting my bleeding finger in acetone, she started saying if u don't put in acetone, I can't do anything. Coz clearly pulling ripping tore my nail and she could not get the nail paint off. I have posted pictures of the nails that I had and after the torturous session. I couldn't take it anymore and demanded someone else to at least fix my fucked up nails. Other lady Fo helped me smooth the rough nails. She removed the paint from the remaining nails using foil and acetone without hurting me even a bit. This review was specifically for Tamy but I wish the salon at least showed me some courtesy. They charged me $17 for fixing my nails that they screwed up. read more

Just had a full set done by Van and she did not disappoint. I've also been here a few times right before and during the pandemic. I've also had my nails done by Holly and one other (forgot her name) and they both did a great job. Mind you I'm very particular about shape and design. That's why I drive here from Oakland. I don't like plain or basic nails, they're just not my style, and this salon never says no to any design I ask for like most of the salons in the East Bay. I also get a basic pedicure with gel and the hot stone comes with it. read more

I am beyond upset! If you're coming to get your toes done it's ok , but if you are getting your nails done go elsewhere it is a trash place they literally just put anyone on there to do nails! I came for my second nail appointment. Helen was no available today, so I got Tracy. Tracy is also very nice and does great work as well. These ladies here are all so talented. They have so many pictures on yelp, but they all have their personal instagrams. I was very happy with my hot pink nails. Can't wait to come back and get my nails done again. **DO NOT GO HERE!** I made an appointment on Wednesday through their online scheduling system wanting an appointment for Friday. I knew I may have been out of luck as Friday is one of their busiest days. When I saw two nail techs I really like had two appointments close to each other, I went ahead and booked (one for my daughter and one for myself). It wasn't long before I received a phone call saying Jen had a family emergency and wouldn't be in on Friday. I went ahead and kept my appointment with Ruby and was told my daughter and I could still come in and they would find someone else to do my daughters nails during my appointment time. Fast forward to Friday, I come in at noon for my scheduled appointment time with Ruby. As I walk in I notice Jen sitting at her booth doing another woman's nails! Wasn't my appointment with her just canceled because she wasn't going to be in? That's odd. Then I'm told they are running behind and it would be about 20/30 minutes. 35 minutes passed and my daughter and I were still in the lobby waiting...they must have been a whole appointment behind at this point. Smh! Multiple people came in for their appointments and were told to wait and I also heard them saying that this always happens to them as well. It's literally 45 minutes now of waiting and the guy (Holly's husband) calls my daughter and I over to take a seat. Honestly by this time I just want a take off and to schedule a full set somewhere else. I sit and wait 5 more minutes until a woman comes over to do the take off. Instead of soaking my nails, she used a tip to work up and underneath the acrylic to pop off the nail. She hurt me so bad, made me bleed and didn't do anything to save my natural nail. All while I'm thinking I could have done this at home!!! Smh again! I'm literally so disappointed with this establishment. They admitted to being understaffed so not sure why they are over booking. This isn't the first time this has happened and I'm definitely not the only one! I have been a loyal customer since 2014 when they were at an older location but from today on out I will not be returning to Yvonne's nails ever again! Protecting my time and my happiness! These people do NOT CARE about their clients, are fake and RUDE! I understand being 10-15 minutes late but anything longer than that I should have received a phone call letting me know the nail techs were running late and to leave at a later time! Paid $70 for a deluxe pedicure and manicure but my heels look untouched. My heels have never looked like this after a pedicure at other shops, another salon I go to has my feet looking like a newborn babies feet. That is not the case here. read more

I usually don't write reviews but i received such bad customer service at yvonnes, i went yestetday to get a set of acrylics and pedicure first off all their prices are pretty high so i expect good service but the lady who was doing my pedicure cut my nail and the side of my nail so much that it started bleeding and at that time i was like fine not really a big deal might be a minor cut but today i woke up and wasnt even able to walk and put my foot in my shoe cuz it hurt so bad and looked a little infected ;( read more

Really liked this place! Came in on a Saturday at 3:00pm with no appointment is was crazy packed. They said it would be a 15 minute wait.... and unlike other places, they weren't kidding my mom & myself were seated at 3:17. My nail techs names T! She was fast and did an amazing job!! Tammy is always my go to. I always do a simple acrylic fill and get color. She makes sure my nails come out clean and straight and if I ask for a design she lets me know before hand if there may be issues with for example a jewel or a stick Update. Tammy is still my favorite. She makes sure how the colors will interact with each other. And she checks in on my length because if I have them too long I personally can't workout as great. read more

I really enjoy coming here, they always take me in, I call every time but not once have they turned me down, they always say come on in. They are really busy, but the girls are very nice. I get my pedi every 3 weeks faithfully with no complaints. I am very picky when it comes to pedis, I like a good scrub and a massage and these girls always do a great jobs on my legs and feet! Basic pedi is $27 but the better deal is the deluxe at $35. And of course free mimosas is always a plus!!! read more

Michelle did my nails today she cut almost all of my fingers this morning. I noticed that she was kind of rushing maybe because it's close to lunchtime? When she cut 2 fingers I told her to be careful but she was rushing and cut more fingers I told her to stop and don't clean the sides anymore cause it's really painful and I was scared already but she continued. I told her to stop but she insisted and she said it will lift blah blah I don't care anymore cause it hurts and she kept cutting other fingers. She was rough and doesn't care. I took a year hiatus from Yvonne's but I'm so glad I came back. My five star review remains the same, however, it's safe to say that I'll never leave again! What drew me back was their online booking system. Yvonne's is always busy, and for good reason, but with that, appointments and wait times can get a little crazy. I love that they upgraded their customer experience and really made it a point to be more professional and customer-centered. In the three months I've been back, I've been beyond pleased with each visit. During my first visit back, Jen recognized me right away and knew I was a previous regular of Holly's. She was accommodating and made me feel comfortable, as if I had never stopped going there. The same is to say about Holly! She is a sweetheart and goes above and beyond to make sure that my nails are just the way I like them. Yes. I've had the same service with different techs and the charge was different. Some a lot higher.
