Philly Roast pork with garlicky spinach
    Kevin K.

Just tried out this little carryout in the middle of McLean. Had this special they have right now on Mondays. Philly Roast pork sandwich sharp provolone with garlic spinach and also they have longhots! It was delicious and very filling. The sandwich was a messy one but in a good way. The sandwich wasn't too salty and everything worked well. Will definitely check out the burger specials in the weekends.

I usually don't leave reviews but my god, this place is so SO SO GOOD!! I come here every Saturday and always get the A1 (Philly cheesesteak) with extra cheese and wow, so delicious. The bread is nice and chewy and the meat is so nicely seasoned, (not too salty and not bland) mixed with green peppers, mushrooms, hot melted provolone cheese, wow I'm full but my mouth is watering just thinking about it. It's one of the things I look most forward to on Saturdays after a long week.

She suggested Patsy's and I'm really glad she did. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and clearly on top of everything, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. The food was excellent definitely top-notch, though a bit on the pricey side but worth it overall. What really stood out, though, was a young man named Henry, who was working as a food runner. As someone who's naturally outgoing, I struck up a conversation with him, and he left a lasting impression. For just 18, he carried himself with confidence, warmth, and professionalism. It was something I'd never heard of and looked like it had Angel hair pasta, arugula, and the chicken looked interesting. It looked fried, but not in a typical way. So when I got my meal, I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious the chicken was. It was a light crispy, airy texture to the skin. And the pasta was delicious - so good. It had mushrooms and sweet peppers along with the butter sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed it! I also ended up getting a mocktail which was a spicy faux margarita. Not bad! It had a nice ambience for groups, and our server was super helpful. He made a lot of good suggestions and made sure to check on us. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and looking for a nice dining experience!

I understand that you can't as a restaurant work on the same menu all the time, but they take away almost all staples and replace them with something very questionable. So far I tried 2 items and both were with major issues. First I tried Grilled trout entree and trout was bland with nice farro side . Whole dish seems underwhelming and had a lack of bonding sauce or flavor profile to make it a dish. Second time I had Salmon salad and this was not good at all. Salmon itself was perfectly cooked as a medium rare on my liking and champagne dressing in mixed greens was good. But I salad had cold and slimy potato pieces and big chunks of blackish marinated onions,it was hard to eat and even unpleasant. I'm really disappointed, because Thai shrimp salad was absolutely best salad in DC area as well as other very popular dishes from old menu. Please bring back Thai Shrimp!!

Food options were good. I tried the assorted beet salad for the appetizer, the striped bass for the entree, and the bread pudding for dessert. All options were tasty and I liked that the portions were just right. My friend tried the house-smoke prime rib cooked to medium heat. I tried some and it was good, though personally the medium cooked steak was undercooked for me. Overall service and meal was good and would consider coming back again to try more of their menu.

This time, my fiancé and I decided to try multiple appetizers and everything was excellent. We ordered the White Truffle Garlic Bread which is what we get every time. They were very good, flavorful, and comforting. Lastly, we had the Little Gem Caesar with added chicken. It was fresh, well balanced, and a great addition to the meal.

Our server was friendly and efficient, which I appreciated. One small suggestion would be to offer a separate coffee menu when guests are seated, alongside the brunch menu, since I was not really looking for alcoholic or sweeter drink options. The food was thoughtfully prepared and overall very enjoyable. I ordered the Morning Market Board, which included a frittata, salad, and hearth bread. The frittata was simple with caramelized onion but still quite flavorful. The burrata paired nicely with the grilled bread, and I especially liked the grilled asparagus in the refreshing salad. My partner had the Sunday Night Lasagna, which was rich, cheesy, and satisfying. The only minor issue was that a spoon would have been helpful for a saucy dish like that since it is a bit tricky to manage with just a fork and knife. My cappuccino was average but still enjoyable. Overall, this is a pleasant brunch spot with a quieter vibe than expected, making it a nice place to relax and catch up. I would definitely come back to try more dishes.

I had to tell the server I ordered a cider and she gave me a pilsner, and then had the audacity to argue with me that I ordered a beer off the cider menu. I said i didn't order this, so maybe the menu is incorrect? Either way, the server didn't apologize and didn't offer to take it off the bill and was just irritated at her own mistake. Asked another server if they have flights and they do not (unlike other breweries) but they allow 3 tastings per person at the bar (not at the table where we were). We had a caesar salad where the lettuce was soft and wet. It doesn't seem like they properly dried the washed lettuce, so I ended up with soggy rather than crispy bites. The pizza was like a dry focaccia with not enough overcooked toppings. The forager was probably the best one thanks to the truffle oil and had a proper cheesy crust. The other two pizzas we tried didn't have enough cheese to have a crispy crust, were too thick and dry, and weren't hot enough for the burrata to melt. It's not clear to me if these pizzas are par baked or just reheated but they were not good. Would not order again.
