The service was great, the cashier was really helpful and nice, I ordered the kabob plate with an orange juice. Everything was delicious, especially the orange juice. It was one of the best freshly squeezed orange juice I've ever tasted!!! Give that cashier with glasses a raise :)

Ordered the Chilaquites-1 star The worse Maxican food I've ever had Tortilla chips taste old n blend. The green sauce on the top I turned sour badly ruin my appetite. Beans is blend as well. I couldn't finish this dish at all. Green sauce turned bad bubbling sour! I told the front girl, asking if I can switch it to red sauce. The other guy then walked out of kitchen brought me the red sauce instead, but it's still equally bad. Do not serve anything when it's not fresh no more!

I was out with my daughter, taking care of her DMV stuff for her new car I just bought her, and we were in the neighborhood, so I had her google a spot for us to have breakfast. Z's pulled up and we were only 1 mile away and decided to give it a go. Since it was highly rated (4.5 stars) I expected it to be really good. It wasn't... The eggs were okay, the bacon wasn't as crispy as I had hoped for, and the potatoes were cold. My daughters bagel was okay, she said.. Overall we spent close to $40 and I wasn't amused. The music and all the pictures on the wall was pretty cool, but that's about it. Overall it was a 3 star establishment for me, because the young lady taking our order, was nice. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

Came in on a Sunday for brunch. Pretty busy but we got our food quickly. Fairly priced menu with tons of options. Clean restaurant with patio seating. Love their coffee/tea bar. You would expect this restaurant to be a sit down place but one must order/pay at counter. Also we couldn't find napkins and had to continuously ask staff for them. The staff was friendly though. My child enjoyed her turkey sandwich. My wife loved her sunrise combo and I devoured my brunch combo. Everything was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back even if we have to bring our own napkins.

My loved ones brought me food from here today and let me tell you it was so good!! I'm not 100% sure how it's on the menu but it was chicken, rice, hummus, salad & pita bread. Delicious! Delicious! Delicious!

I love their Sizzling Kabobz! Sometimes they serve it with an authentic pita bread which I love. But sometimes it's served with those store bought pita breads that are more pillowy and bread like, I don't prefer. #207 Raffi's Super Kabob Combo- perfect for indecisive people! You get both beef and chicken. Chicken breast was not dry at all and was tender and juicy. Beef was just the same. Both were flavorful. Rice is always seasoned well. #201 Ground Beef Lule Kabob- seasoned well and tender. I did not like their Chilaquiles breakfast plate. Didn't seem coherent. Tortilla chips were just topped with sauce and drizzled with sour cream, added chopped onions and cilantro. Seemed dry even with sauce topped all over. Egg on top was over done when I asked for over easy. Stick to their non breakfast items. You can order them all day long even during breakfast hours.

I want to start off by saying the only reason this place is getting a two star is because of how good the food was but your closing cashier has a negative/bad attitude. This was mine and my boyfriend first and only time ever coming here. The place looked closed to begin with even though they closed in two hours we got here at five, this was a cute little diner we spotted on our way home and decided to stop at on a whim. When walking in there was only two people in there for such a good rating restaurant which was confusing but once we got to the cashier, I now understand why there was probably no customers. I started off with my order asking for a Ground Beef Lule kabob plate, I didn't know there was more than one hummus which the cashier copped a attitude when I asked exactly what kind they had he rudely said "not what kind but what ones" which made me feel very stupid because of how belittling he spoke towards over hummus! Not only that after he rushed us with our oder he was talking loudly on his phone while just stayed sitting behind the counter. I am so upset and disappointed because of how good the food was but I had such a bad experience. I'm sure this business has other closing cashiers but to be specific it was the person with the speech impediment.

Ana and Sofia were amazing. They made sure I was taken care of, and even when my order was slightly wrong, they made it right and made sure I was happy. This has to be one of the best breakfast spots around. Try their huevos rancheros some of the best I ever had!! The atmosphere feels homey and the workers are some of the nicest I've had the pleasure of meeting. Will absolutely make this a normal go to breakfast spot. (Or any meal for that matter). read more

Soo soo happy they finally put a good restaurant in this location! :-) The ambience was great, the way they renovated it inside and the food just exceeded my expectations. I tried the ani chicken thigh kabob with cilantro hummus, BOMB. The bbq chicken pizza and pepperoni pizza were BOMB. The flautas were BOMB and my brother tried the heart attack which he said was good but was lacking a sauce in it. Overall I recommend this place highly can't wait to try more things on the menu. read more

What a new gem. We had a great lunch on the umbrella covered patio. The food was delicious and the staff so friendly and accommodating. We ordered the kebab and a turkey burger that had so many layers of flavor that we even ordered some more to go for the family. The owner is the consummate restauranteur and guided us on a journey thru some of the dishes and options he's been developing over the years. If you want unique and flavorful sauces, hummus and dressings, well you've got to try Z's. We are planning a Saturday lunch with more family members and look forward to the event to expose their foods to others. With so many options, this will be my go to place! read more

This was my second visit and let me start with saying that customer service is great, thank u for this! Now let's get to the point, food taste and quality I was not impressed . Definitely overpriced but then again what isn't. Got a turkey sandwich combo which was about $16 and a 2 piece chicken tenders and fries total for both was $24. read more

Second time I have been disappointed in my order from Z's. I don't know if it is a change in cooks or recipes. I like # 202 Ani's Chicken Thigh Kabob. It use to be a tasty, juicy chicken thigh. For a second time it looks like it coated with a light red seasoning. The chicken is dry to taste. The cucumber salad with tomato always had a tangy taste of lemon..Twice it has tasted like mixed with plain water. The rice use to be buttery now tasteless. Don't know if I want to go back and try again. read more

I am skeptic at first to try in here because their menu has a very wide variety. My kids tried the burger and they really loved it. I tried the chicken and beef kebob and i can say i liked it better than all the kebob place near the area. The price is very reasonable! I will definitely be back. The only down side is they closed early on weekends. read more

I can't complain about their food. Order to go if you must. But unfortunately your run the chance at getting some critters in your food. I've made them aware of the obvious problem that they have and they have said they know. They are trying to do something about all the flies that are in the restaurant. The flies where there last month and now their spawn. My gf and her sister had breakfast there this weekend and there was a fly inside the pancake syrup. The area where all the condiments are is swarming with flies and the floor is always sticky. We want to go back but not like this. Solution: Air Curtain or Fly Fans at your entrance door and the back door. read more

Solid new spot in the area. Nice chill diner type vibe. They have a wide menu so if you have a picky group this might be the spot for you from burgers to hummus they seem to have it all. Friendly staff, indoor and outdoor dining space and easy parking. Will update review as we try more of their menu. read more

Food is not bad here especially club sandwiches and chicken salad. What turns me off is the cashier who works in the morning is extremely unfriendly. She basically threw the food at me couple of times for no reason other than she has a bad attitude and does not care about customer service. I would go back if she is gone. read more

I'm giving Z's three stars. I have not been able to order any food from this place yet because they don't have delivery nor are they set up with any delivery service. I'm thinking it might be something they should think about for the future since and Jen always become very lazy and God for bid we get in the car and go get her own food. I work in the area of this restaurant we don't really have time and we're much too lazy To leave the office at lunchtime. read more

Talk about hidden in plain sight. I've passed by this place so many times. Passed by it again today we were going Hye cuisine which we like a lot, but the dining is still closed!! So a loss for them but we found a gem! The girls behind the counter were friendly place was clean, the prices are competitive but the main reason was the food was great! Amazing place, best local spot in montebello for breakfast thus far. If you're looking for a nice, quiet clean and great place to eat, with friendly and welcoming staff! you gotta try this place! This morning My wife and I had breakfast, my wife had the "mo classic breakfast" and I had the "I want it all" and added a side of potato's to try with two coffees to drink. The breakfast came with two eggs, a pancake and two French toast, two bacon and our side of potatoes. The star of our plate was the French toast! The best I've had in a while, it definitely reminded me of my moms home cooking, followed by the fresh tasting eggs, pancakes and potatoes! We also had the chance to try "Z's French kiss"... now, this! everyone has to try! It came with freshly baked baguettes, caramelized bananas, walnuts and something else that I can't put my finger on but this will literally melt in your mouth and I can't wait to come back for another! My wife and I found our new breakfast spot. We're very excited to come back and try their dinner menu and will most likely post another review. Thank you to all the staff! read more

Z's is a one stop shop for any kind of food you're craving. The special of the day was a Hockey Burger and what a great Hamburger it was... Fresh and juicy..Friendly staff. Quick service and a menu that you'll definitely find something that is delicious. My husband said you know a Hamburger is good when the juice drips down your arm!! The deserts are fantastic too. Checked Z's out yesterday for breakfast/lunch with my kids. Sat outside and had the best time! They made the patio so big and comfortable with spaced seating, heaters, umbrellas. LOVE that their whole menu is available all day! We got burgers, kabobs, eggs and pancakes - split a Nutella banana crepe for dessert (YUM!). All of our cravings were satisfied! Everything was delicious and we cannot wait to go back to try more! read more

My husband and I shared the chicken and a plate Order of falafel. That took 30 mins because of falafel. Really though frying falafel shouldn't take that long! My sister loves their chicken and she didn't even eat it. Forgot to mention when I went to get the chicken, they didn't have anymore then he said this the last one. I'm just confused on how there is nothing left when they have another 4-5 hours! I got an extra tabouleh which she didn't eat either Management need to be better and food shouldn't be taking 30+ mins! This is a fast food place

The quality of the ingredients are very high at this restaraunt, they could have been a bit more generous with the meat on the fries but im not taking that away from the overall flavor bomb that were these fries. Service is at a Window, you get a buzzer for when it's ready, exterior eating area with umbrellas by the sidewalk and on the side of the restaurant. We ended up parking on the street as there is no dedicated parking lot. Give em a try! They have loads of great Mediterranean options here.

There's also a nearby bar to purchase alcoholic drinks if that's your thing. Overall I'm appreciative this Lebanese establishment still exists and I will definitely be back.

The salad consisted of lettuce and some marinated tomatoes that tasted sour. The hummus was very bland and the bread was thin, but soft. The Luhle (ground beef) was savory, but wasn't very juicy at all. The RICE, however, was very delicious. It was well seasoned and you can taste the different spices used to flavor it. Very earthy notes. Overall, very underwhelming experience. Mediocre and not worth the price or wait. Would probably not go back again. It's located inside Blossom Market Hall, so you order and seat yourself. Food will be ready when the buzzer they give you rings. Free street and lot parking available.

But the meat quality of beef and chicken was not very tender; they were a bit chewy. The Kafta was a Mediterranean dish consisting of ground meat; this one was ground beef. It was not bad. The fries and rice were also good. Make sure to order your food earlier because you may need to wait for a while. The service was friendly. More than okay, it was deliciously astray from my normal. The meat is smoky and delicious with a small amount of sauce to give a hint of sweet and sassiness. Mac and cheese wasn't too saucy and the pulled pork sliders will have a place in my heart (and gut!). Ordering out is easy and pickup was a breeze. The parking situation is pretty simple with many spaces available. While it's not exactly my type of BBQ, I'll definitely be back. If you're in the mood for smoky ribs and brisket, with a killer pulled pork, this is the place. It's hard to achieve a subtle perfection and I thank Southside for their hard work.

Z's is a really solid spot for breakfast, especially if you're looking for great deals. The Sunrise Breakfast meal is on point and definitely a standout for the price. The inside setting gives diner vibes. The customer service is excellent. They don't skimp on sauces at all, which I truly appreciate these days. I'm usually hesitant to ask for extra sauces since many places charge per sauce now, but here they gave me whatever I needed with no hesitation. The food also comes out quickly, which is perfect if you're stopping in during a work break or need something fast. My only real critique is the soda machine--it's pretty bad. The soda comes out overly sweet and syrupy, and it's not carbonated enough, which was disappointing.
