I typed a very long note about Zack's Bistro in my notes with the intention of copying and pasting it on Yelp. Yelp won't let me paste it so I will just say... it's a new restaurant. It was a first time for the four of us. We had a great lunch and met Zack the owner. Zach is from Morocco. The food was good. The ambience was beautiful and Zach is certainly a treasure. We went to Zack's Bistro last Saturday evening. We have been looking for a place with an upscale menu but a relaxed ambiance. This place is both. We started with Moroccan cigars which were spiced well and tasty. We then ordered 3 different entrées: beef stroganoff, osso buco (that night's special), and pan seared salmon. All dishes were delicious. My husband and I also enjoyed cocktails: a pomegranate gin fizz and a manhattan. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. We will be returning very soon. read more

Unsuspecting location, but very nice ambiance upon entry. The service was very kind and attentive. The food was great! Definitely recommend getting the filet and adding a side of the demi-glaze mushrooms -- great combination! Will be back to try some other dishes. read more

I was pleased to find this gem virtually in my backyard. We have now been back 3 times and the standard of service is excellent, it's a smaller space which is intimate and even encourages some cross-table conversations when people are curious about the dishes when they are served. I stick with the steak and it's flawless (BTW- I am a certified KCBS Steak Judge if that helps). This is my go-to when I want to smile and indulge in the finest. read more

Intrigued and definitely surprised. Needed a place to eat after attending son's orchestra concert at nearby concert hall. Completely off the radar but eclectic menu and location drew us in. Great food, spectacular service, and perfectly crafted old fashioned gave a great first impression. Will definitely make it a regular stop. My new FAVORITE restaurant. Becky immediately and warmly greeted us. When I told her it was our first time, she was excited to share about their favorite entrees. Our table was all set up for celebrating our friend's birthday. It was lovely. Bread to start with was luscious, buttery, warm, and light. The beef stroganoff paired with Brussel sprouts was the best I've had (per Shereen's suggestion--thank you)! Everyone else's dishes looked delicious too. The music and atmosphere was perfect. Felt like I was on vacation. We had brought birthday cheesecake to celebrate and they were kind enough to give us plates/utensils for that. I definitely want to order one of their yummy sounding desserts next time. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! read more

My wife and I found Zack's Bistro by a google search a couple of months ago and since we hadn't been before we thought we should check it out. It was a great decision. We have been back several times having a wonderful variety of entrees, sides,beverages and desserts. They have a standard menu but always seem to have an interesting special that is definitely worth trying. The staff is helpful and engage with you to help find the right menu item. As others have noted it's a small space but they do take reservations if you have a special occasion. Check their menu on their website to see the full variety of items. We are out of town guests and a local recommended this place and I see why! The food and customer service were both amazing. I had the Steak Diane and it was very flavorful. Our server, Shareen, is also a great bartender! She knows how to make a drink. If you are on the fence on what to order, trust her recommendations! If I lived here, I'd be a regular customer. We were in town for a softball camp and decided to try Zack's because my daughter loves shrimp and grits. My husband is a foodie and between the two of them they can be hard to please. We were warmly greeted by the owner's daughter and given recommendations on the menu as well as some off menu items. She highly recommended the beef stroganoff and it did not disappoint! We did everything but lick the bowl! I had the shrimp and grits and they were fantastic. We also had the cheesecake, which was homemade and delicious. This cozy little spot was perfect and we were encouraged to relax and hang out as long as we wanted. This is definitely our go to place when we come to Arlington from now on! read more

I've been in Texas for four days on business and tried a bunch of different spots that I wouldn't be able to try back home in California. Of all the meals I've had, this was by far the best one. The waitress mentioned that the beef stroganoff does tend to sell out, so that's what I went with. I can certainly see why it would sell out every night. Incredibly flavorful sauce and tender beef. On Wednesdays they feature live music from a one-man band that took requests and performed faithful covers of classic tunes. Cozy, but not cramped restaurant and warm, friendly staff that made me feel like a regular, even though it was my first time. I'm definitely going back tomorrow for dinner on my last night in Texas. read more

Came here for lunch as a new customer. I work down the street and 100% will be back. The restaurant is beautiful, the owner/waitress was amazing and extremely helpful to every table even though she bussed, took orders (without a notepad), and ran food. The steak, potatoes, and vegetables I had were all perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. Everything was perfectly seasoned and wonderful. Everything was hot and perfectly cooked, even the mixed veggies which can easily be under or overcooked. Better than most, If not all, high end steakhouses I've been to and I'm from Ft Worth so that says a lot. I've been to many many steakhouses and this Bistro did all around a better job than I've ever had at a fancy steakhouse. I'm definitely going back with my husband to try more of the menu but man was that an unexpectedly amazing experience. Plated perfectly AND that delicious? That's not always the case. I highly recommend this restaurant and it's definitely a gem in a strange area but totally worth it. read more

Had dinner at this new Arlington location. It was amazing. Trina was awesome!!!Calamari was spot on. I had the beef stroganoff and it was delicious. Husband had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. Hands down a wonderful dinner. Definitely Recommend this new restaurant. read more
