I always see the Cuban restaurants in this area but I never noticed Zaika Indian Bistro. I was scrolling through restaurants in the area on out way to a show near the Strip. I didn't want to go to a place too close to the hotel we were going to because of EDC traffic and happened to see the great reviews so we decided to stop in. I was surprised that there was only one other table sat eating when we walked in around 6pm on a Saturday. That's sad because this restaurant is great. The place has a nice ambiance, with nice sized tables and good flow. It's not highly decorated but what it does have is tasteful and nice. There is a large room on the side for big parties. Everyone was super friendly and helpful when we walked in. We ordered an Indian beer we have never tried and there was an issue. We poured our drinks into the our frozen cups and there was something floating inside. We asked our server and he brought it to the owner who came back to us immediately with new cups and a new beer. I very much appreciated that he apologized and immediately made it right, no excuses and taking accountability for the incident. This shows integrity and makes me definitely want to come back to a place again. It doesn't hurt that the food was super good. The lamb kabob is freaking excellent and I could eat that everyday. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor -- rich, aromatic, and clearly made with care and authenticity. The butter chicken was perfectly creamy with just the right balance of spices, the garlic naan was fresh and fluffy, and the mango dessert at the end was the perfect sweet finish. After four days at the Consumer Electronics Show, we had dinner at Zaika Indian Bistro away from the Strip. We made the reservation at 5:30. When we walked in, we were the first party of the night. We were greeted by Jade, our server. She was very attentive. She made sure we had a great experience at Zaika. She explained the menu book and made suggestions on their popular and favorite dishes. She asked us the spice level for all the dishes we ordered. When she brought the dishes, she explained each what dish we were being served. She came by multiple times to make sure we were OK. Excellent service. We ordered Samosas , veggie Pakora, Garlic Naan, Roti, Butter Chicken, Chicken Kabab and Palak Paneer (my favorite dish). The house made chutney was delicious. WOW. I am lost for words. Favorite Indian spot in Vegas. I had their garbanzo bean dish as well as chicken and it did not disappoint. Very spacious on the inside. Great for a night out with a big group. Service was quick and friendly. They checked in with us throughout the meal as well. Their spice levels were 1-10. I stuck with 5. Such delicious food. The goat curry was so tasty and you could taste the individual spices. The tandoori was succulent as well. I keep coming back to this place. Love the staff and ambience. Apparently they also do catering for events and they even do Italian food, Filipino food, etc for events either at their venue or they can bring it to you, so I would highly recommend this place if you're thinking of hosting a catered event. Worst experience ever. I came in for the lunch buffet and was told that it would be $20. The food was super salty, heavy, bread was stale, and overall just wasn't good. I needed to ask twice just to get some water. I wanted the check and everybody was ignoring me when I was asking for it. I had my card out and finally one of the girls grabbed my card and ran it to the register. She brought me the receipt and it was not for $20. It was for $27.90.
