The best plant powered food you can get in Las Vegas! I stumbled upon this location at a smaller farmer market in north Las Vegas and have been hooked ever since. They are a food truck and the food is delicious. The owners are amazing and sweet and provide amazing service. The truck travels all over the valley but there are spots they frequent. I would say to definitely check them out and chat them up as they are just amazing people. I try to track their location with the WTF (where's the food truck) app.

Araujo's Plant Powered food truck did not disappoint--excellent flavors all around. I can't wait to see their truck out again to try more options. We visited the Labor Day festival at Retreat on Mt. Charleston, where Araujo's was featured alongside other food trucks. Although we attended on the second day and missed out on some of their top favorites like vegan tamales and vegan chicken tacos, the dishes we did try were fantastic. We ordered the vegan Baja tacos, vegan Chicharron tacos, and finished with a vegan ice cream banana chimichanga. The chefs behind this food truck truly know how to create a delightful experience with their culinary skills, making for a relaxing and enjoyable time.

Mood: Vegan eats Tried this place at a vegan pop up market place. They usually are by Costco off Decatur and the 225. The service was really good. The people were friendly and helped let you know what the vegan substitutes are and some recommendations. Soy chorizo, loaded fries 8/10: the Fries we're good, and all the toppings we're good as well I just feel like it had too much soy that left a weird texture and Taste. The house sauce that was included was really delicate and delightful to taste. Mushroom vegan tacos : 7/10: really enjoy the tortillas. They were corn. The mushroom feeling was a little bit on the small side could've had more. It had two different sauces that topped the tacos that were really good and refreshing. Vegan hot dog 7/10: not the best texture, but really good flavor. I like that it had the concept of a actual hot dog, but it being vegan with flavor. Overall really cool food truck and will definitely wanna try more things on the menu. The next time I go to their food truck. Overall will definitely try other menu items

Mood- Vegan Now I will admit I am a carnivore. However fellow Yelper Dominique is always uploading her amazing Vegan food adventures and it makes me want to delve a little more into that world. However I cant skip my salacious sweet tooth. That is where this little journey began I finished with my errands and saw a picture of an Ice Cream Chimichanga. I quickly pulled over and began to look over this menu. It was delicious looking by the pictures and I knew that I wanted to try it. Maybe our hot Vegas heat had a little something to do with that as well. I placed the order and was told that they were out of strawberries. I said that was fine and they asked if they could substitute blackberries. I mean YES of course you can. As the dish was being prepared I continued to look over the items offered and knew this would be a place that I will try out more vegan dishes. Now I will admit I was not expecting it to taste the way it did. Flaky, crunchy, sweet, and soft all at the same time. With the sweetness of the berries, chocolate, and bananas it was spot on. I think I def need more of this in my life. Not one flavor overwhelmed the other. They were all in perfect unison. Would most def recommend - pricing was reasonable. Staff were very courteous and hospitable. I love great customer service. This is a food truck, so you may want to call and check their location for that day. Location was Centennial/Losee - ample parking

It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

I've gladly waited over an hour to get tacos, but the unfortunate part is when you come by yourself you have to basically choose one meat as it's impossible to get into another line. This time, however, I was with a group of five people so we were able to split up, but I was able to try a taco different than the pork (adobo.) usually when I come I usually grab tacos for me and my group so I'm stuck ordering 50 tacos at one time at one line. However, this time I was able to come with a group I think I'm absolutely in love with the tripe, I always love a good crispy, tripe taco, but I've never actually had it from here! Wow, it was absolutely incredible, it was so flavorful and crunchy!! I've also tried the quesadillas as well, but I don't personally care for the cheese they use. Even the corn tortillas are super fresh. Would highly recommend coming here. Just bring friends!

Our server was also fantastic, attentive and friendly throughout the night. The food was next-level. They must have a new chef because this is hands-down the best Mexican food we've had in Las Vegas. My carne asada chef's special tacos were incredibly juicy and packed with flavor (unlike the dry ones you often get elsewhere). The queso fundido and fresh guacamole were excellent, my wife's shrimp entrée was outstanding, and the flan was truly unique, my daughter said it was the best she's ever had. Every dish was a hit, and the cocktails were fantastic too. Everyone in our group raved about their meals. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and wonderful service in downtown Las Vegas, look no further. La Mona Rosa is highly recommended!

This place may be a small tavern-style spot with just enough seating, but don't let the size fool you. The moment you walk in, the aroma of the birria comes rolling out of the kitchen like a raging bull--it lets you know you're in the right place! They offer both goat and beef birria, and the flavor is absolutely incredible. I've only been eating birria for about five years, but in that time I've made it a mission to try it everywhere I travel. I've had birria from Las Vegas, California, Nebraska, Florida, and Texas, and I can honestly say Birria Bite is hands down the best I've had. I always order the Quesabirria Combo, and it never disappoints. The consommé is rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned--good enough to sip on by itself. And even though it's outside my normal diet, I can't leave without getting the Piña pineapple drink. It's sweet, refreshing, and absolutely fire. The hospitality is always A1, the staff makes you feel welcome every visit, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you receive. This is one of those hidden gems you'll keep coming back to. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out. Don't meet me there... beat me there... or be square!

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.
