Today on one of hottest days of the week the AC at my tenants place stopped functioning correctly. I usually have a guy I would call to address this stuff but he was on vacation. So i called several companies and Pablo was the only one to not only pick up with a pleasant and professional manner, but also was able to move his schedule around to come and fix my AC issue the same day. He came in less than an hour of calling him due to proximity and diagnosed the issue. Found the part needed to fix it and replace and it was up and running again! My dishwasher was in need of repair, I looked on YELP, and based on reviews, I called Zapata. Pablo called back immediately and also said he would come out today - a big plus. He arrived, tested a few things, ran out to get the needed part, returned and fixed the dishwasher. I also showed him something on my stove that didn't work. He fixed that, too and then as he was leaving, I mentioned a problem with my dryer; he googled my description, and we removed a "wrinkle release" button that had caused the problem. The best thing - aside from his ability to fix everything - is his "can do" attitude - friendly, professional, inspires trust and gets the job done. The fridge was making an incredibly loud groaning noise. I seriously considered buying a whole new fridge. I messaged on yelp for help with the problem on Thursday night, and Pablo responded within 20 minutes. We initially scheduled to have him come look at it Sunday morning, but he was able to swing by Saturday afternoon. Within minutes he had disassembled the housing and determined it was simply a fan making all that racket. He went back to his van for a bit and reappeared with a new higher-quality fan and installed it immediately. He accepted venmo for payment and he was out of there in well under an hour. My refrigerator was not freezing or cooling. Of the vendors I requested a price quote from, Pablo was the quickest, responding and confirming my appointment late in the evening (after 10pm!). He was able squeeze me into his busy schedule and come by and diagnose the situation the next day. He's extremely thorough in his diagnosis, checking and testing everything and explaining what he's doing every step of the way. At the end he shared with me that the compressor for our fridge is still under warranty and the manufacturer should easily be able to replace it - which I called the same day and confirmed a warranty replacement of the required part. Pablo was the first to respond to the Yelp review I submitted. He has good rates ($65 for consultation, lower than many other places). He came by and diagnosed my broken washing machine. The motor was messed up - small items that flew out of the main bucket area got caught on the motor. Long story short, things broke off and parts had to be replaced. Pablo is efficient and ordered the part that same evening and picked it up the following Monday. When he came by to fix things he also gave me a deal to clean the dryer, a task I've been putting off. I called Pablo at 4:45 with a problem with my Samsung freezer. He called me back at 5:00 and set an appointment for the next day between 8:00-10:00 a.m. He was here at 7:55! He is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He diagnosed the problem very quickly (it needed freon, not a whole new compressor). He fixed the freezer all the while explaining what he was doing. He put an adapter on the line so that I could add freon on my own down the road if needed so I wouldn't have to pay for repair again. Extremely fair priced! Pablo was great! He came out promptly after our fridge broke on a hot summer day. With all our food in coolers, we were worried we would have to wait a long time for a part to be ordered, or even have to buy a whole new refrigerator. This was an excellent experience. It is soooo hard to find a good contractor. He was on time, very professional and very knowledgeable. This was for refrigerator repair. After an earlier contractor, came and claimed he fixed the problem and 20 minutes later, the service alarm went off again. This experience was very different. Had an issue with our GE stove where one of the burners did not work. Communicated with Pablo several times before he came out to fix it. He needed to come back two days later because the part was not available that day. When he returned, he put the new burner in and it works like it was new. Pablo showed up at 9:30 on a Sunday morning!!!! Great tools, familiar with my Maytag freezer, figured out low freon, small leak somewhere not found, but was able to put in a line access device/valve and charged R134A. He didn't have any leak seal on hand but I was able to purchase the adaptor from schrader valve to std R134A automotive quick valve and inject dye/seal/R134A. Freezer works, how long is debatable because it's 16 years old. read more

I called this company to check air flow upstairs that is very low. Pablo came and checked the outside unit. It is very dirty. He cleaned the unit and filled Freon. He also adjusted the air flow at Furnace. I can feel that air flow is much better. I also asked him to add air vent in the basement room and he said I shouldn't do it.
