I had a problem earlier this year and Emily and I handled the problem and I was told to come in with my receipt and her name on it to receive my replacement food. I simply ordered a large soft drink at the drive thru. I pulled up to the window to pay, they ran my debit card, returned it and then shut the window. The girl just stood there and talked to some other employees. After waiting four minutes I tapped on the glass and asked what the trouble was only to be told, "Yeah, there's some problem." She just continued to stand there. After 3 more minutes she opened the window again and demanded payment. I pointed out the fact that I had already paid. "No you didn't", she said. My phone alerts me whenever a purchase is made and the payment had gone through. I was then told, "You don't have to buy a drink here." I said to hell with it and left. I sent a complaint in via the Zaxby's website. They apologized, but what was the solution they advised? Go back and try again. read more

I stopped thru the drive thru on my way to work today and ordered my food. The person whom took my order was very kind to me. Which is much appreciated during these troubling times. So thank you Zaxby's crew! But as I pulled up to pay for my food I highly noticed that everyone near the drive-thru window bout 3 people didn't have on a mask. Is that a standard for Zaxby's not wearing masks? Trust me, I know they suck, I work in a factory which requires us to wear one. But how can one expect to trust a restaurant in believing that they are that necessary precautions in ensuring that their employees as well as customers are cared for. In trying to eliminating Covid-19 spread if people making food that we all eat aren't being secure. Hopefully upon my next visits at least mask are being worn by the employee's. Chicken finger plate comes with toast, cole slaw and the Best Ever Seasoned Fries! Or get with salad for Zalad! They also have wings, grill cheese and appetizers. Only four stars due to Staff Issues. Zaxby's is by far one of our favorite places to eat, or well it use to be. I will not be stepping foot inside another Zaxby's until the ones in Bowling Green, KY are fixed and more specifically the one located at 1801 US 31 W Bypass. The employees are so rude and hateful that it isn't even funny. They treat people with disrespect, they don't know the first thing about customer service or in how to fix food the right way. Also the managers, never take any complaints seriously, and just simply say "We Apologize, and We'll Work On It". Well they don't work on it, so that just leaves nothing but an empty apology. For example on not fixing food right, we order 20 finerz with wimpy sauce tonight and they didn't put the sauce on them. They have always came with sauce on them, and they didn't sauce them this time. It's truly sad and pathetic that they can't do anything right, as Zaxby's in other locations are good. Dried out strips the size of nuggets, entirely too salty, and an order of fried mushrooms that were humorously ridiculous. Over $26 the last time and it was not good. We just ate at this restaurant. The service was not great. I had to ask for my cups. The dining room and drink station were dirty and sticky. Neither of the ice machines were working and there was no ketchup. Only two customers in the whole place, three employees working the counter but we had to ask multiple times for things we needed. My kids and I absolutely love Zaxby's. There's only one problem I live on this side of town and so this is typically the one I go to. This store is a complete hit or miss. What I mean is that it can be anything simple from not giving celery, wrong sauces, or at times not giving sauce at all. Then theres the rough part of getting unsalted fries which stinks, because thats one of the reason you love their fries, tenders and wings that have been sitting for awhile, just plain dried out. Now don't get me wrong not all these happen at the same time, but they fo happen. It wouldn't be a big deal if it was a one time thing. I have even address the manangers about these things but it continues. But on the other side of things when they hit which is becoming more and more rare they hit. When its fresh and your order is correct it is absolutely wonderful, but without exaggeration that's about 1 out of every ten. Now to get to customer service. The drive thru employees that I have dealt woth are rude, dull, and just don't seem to care. On the other hand going inside employees seem to be a more interested. At least theu will carry a conversation. Although I really don't like the idea of hearing employees complain about their job or needing a smoke break. Do that where customers can't hear you. And of course the funniest thing I notice is when managers just stand there and customers are still waiting to place their order. You wonder why it takes so long to get your order there.
